Kamen Diamonte's Story

Kathleen pressed her face the the boys back and tried her hardest not to look down. She usually wouldnt be anywhere close to a boy his age like this, but in times of life-or-death sometimes its neccisarry to accept piggyback rides from teeage boys.
Good thing I wore stockings today, She blushed at the thought.

She wished they could ahve found Josh, but sometimes it was neccisary to leave one behind. She wondered if she had gotten Shane injured, would he have gone back for the other boy had she not pushed him. She gripped her gun on her right hand and tightened her hold on her wrist with her other. She tried her best to hold on, as they fleed.

Kathleen said, "Wait silly, you don't chomp on it! you let it melt in your mouth..its like a form of praise I guess, a treat...." she stopped, "I have an apple flavored one..."she said holding up a lollipop that was the color of applejuice.

...sky tell Krien we'll be back later" Elesh told Skyler as she started to fly away beside Aello, standing alone within the empty warehouse focusing the lights against the wall to reduce the glare. Walking toward the generator room stopping as the sound of a car and the smell of humans wafted inside of the warehouse. "Shit, who might this be" Skyler said to himself, nervous if it was guards from the facility their little hide out has now became unsafe even after all the scouting. Grunting and quickly sprinting towards the door sliding into the wall with a thump leaning under towards the loading bays door peering under seeing a group of strangely dressed humans making their way to the warehouse, by their look, Skyler thought that they wouldn't be anything close to a threat to him. Still being careful he backed away from the door taking a tactical position in the darkness, hoping the gloom from his silver hair wouldn't give him away. Kathleens rules echoed through his mind "Don't take the life of a human", disregarding it for this situation, the group of hybrids ment more than a few humans, Skyler readied himself for the kill.

"Does this idiot think I'm a fool" Skyler thought to himself snarling and then lunging from behind his cover, hand pulled back and claws ready to strike he aimed for the man in the front attempting to slice at his leg to immobilize him as he hit the ground. Only a flurry of thoughts flashed through Skylers head, with the speed that he traveled at if this human was lucky enough to dodge his claw he would follow up with a hard kick to the chest. Although Kathleens rules stood true in Skylers mind constantly playing through, the protection of their home and of them ment more than some silly rules to protect human life. Also knowing that the humans in front of him were involved with something against the law from how they dressed, and how their leader addressed themselves.

Elesh's vision improved as when the lights went off, but the reds lights were like a bonfire in the middle of a new moon night. she folded her wings again, but wrapped them around herself. "She has a point. What makes you not make a run for your lives when you see something that isn't human?" she asked, still eyeing the group with mild distrust. She tapped her foot on the floor, looking around the building and sniffing the air. It started to smell different, though she couldn't place why or if there was even a reason. It smelled humid and damp, it might have been a change of the wind or something, but it was noticeable. At least to her. As she waited for an answer, her mind started to wander. Letting her mind go into the other recesses of her thinking mind. What to do when everything and everyone was settled in, what to put in her room and what to do if something had to be made for some kind of use. But, her mind always stuck to krien, making her face turn a slight shade of red as she tried to move away from his image, but wasn't completely able to. She didn't really care for the humans at this point either, so long as they didn't out them in anyway. She just wanted to get everyone moving before nightfall.

Skyler could only get more annoyed with the arrogance of the human, like Elesh's Skyler's eyesight improved as well when the lights when out standing completely still but relaxed moving back and leaning against the wall listening to the human Diamonte speak

"Because Alpha, it'd ruin my reputation. Beta, being a magician is a thousand times harder than being an actor. Gamma, let's just say I know a lot of secrets. Epsilon, you don't seem like monsters, and you certainly wont attack me without hesitation. And Zeta, killing me would not only be difficult, but we'd cause a comotion, which we all don't want."

With a deep and annoyed sigh Skyler responded "Alpha, what reputation you sound like a arrogant child. Bravo, act all you want, but as we all know magic is all smoke and mirrors. Charlie, Secrets mean nothing to us when we don't know what secrets you keep. Delta, Nice catch and your right I'll kill you if you attempt to harm us. Echo killing you will be easier for me to do than you think , and hiding your body would be also easy my friend." Running his hands through the silver locks, gazing dead at the Diamonte through the dark. Skyler already resented the human and with his tone and speech it wasn't stalling the hate, he came across as a clown and a fool something that Skyler had no interest in. "Skyler Terra Carabalo, is my name" Skyler spoke one final time remembering that Diamonte asked for their names.

Elesh sighed, moving from the door toward the rooms again but her footsteps where silent from the padding on her footpaws. "Arrogance breeds distain, but for the moment I have no real animosity towards you." She growled in the darkness as she moved toward Skyler. "And I have to agree with Skyler. We may be new to human society, but we are far from ignorant of how magic works." The bat flapped her wings hard to clear the air of the dust that was starting to irritate her nose and eyes. "So far you have only proved more of an annoyance then a real threat. But if you don't out us, and the same goes with the rest of you; you won't be roasting over bonfire for baltaine." Her eyes glowed with the reflection of what little light there was in the building. she felt a shiver go down her spine and shook, making her hiss loudly with the chill. "Elesh is what I am called." She spoke finally, before flapping onto a perch near the ceiling. "I'll fly back and tell the others that it's safe to come here. Don't make me regret that." And with that, she flew off through a hole in the ceiling, flapping in place, watching the late afternoon sky to wait for aello to join her.

Aello looked at Jared quizzically,"...has no one told you? Someone else was using this factory before we got here. He has been hiding his stolen goods in the floorboards," she makes her way to the center of the room to tap the floor boards. The sound is hollow.
"He said we could use his warehouse to stay in, as long as we guarded his goods. I'm sure he will return soon..." she paused to add, "He knew about the Facility...he wasn't afraid when he saw me."
She gestures toward the lights flickering above them, "Did you not notice that we have power here? I suppose this is his warehouse..."

"I believe we can," Aello chuckled, "After all, we have all of his treasure here. It's a win-win situation...We get shelter, and he gets guard dogs."

Kathleen added, "It's the only option we have right now..."
