Yuki is a rather, quiet and passive individual. His taciturn and somewhat introverted nature makes it seem like he is hard to approach at first, but is shown to be quite sociable and if it deals with a request, they are instructed to not turn anyone down, as much as possible. He is quite dedicated to his job and usually takes a longer time patrolling the area than most. He isn't the type who likes to think about the future too much; living only life today as how it is. Unlike some of his neighbors, he has no ill view of the nobles though, he doesn't really get them at times.
Appearance:
He has messy black hair and orange-red eyes. He doesn't have much of a variety in clothes and so, instead of having several different kinds, he just have multiples of the same kind. He usually wears a dark blue jacket over a white shirt and some black pants with a scarf if the weather's too cold. Though he barely uses it, he does have a formal attire that he is required to wear if he needs to visit some nobles.
The social climate was different back then. There was a hierarchy of sorts, with the nobility on the upper bunk while there are the commoners and those with important tasks which can be considered as the "middle class". Yuki was born in a small rural village to a smith's family. When he was 15, he decided to leave the house and be independent. He eventually landed in Arioch (when it was still in the process of urbanizing) and worked as a weapons smith before landing a job as a Rounder. Due to the lack of exposure to the society, he was unsure of what to think of the nobles at first, having heard negatives and positives about them.
Life in the urban world was more different that he soon began to miss the old rural village he grew up in. A lot of exiles also came to town in hopes of improving their lives. Needless to say, a majority of the Rounders seemed to hate the nobles' extravagant way of living. During one of his daily rounds, he picked up a bouquet of roses on the ground. He took it and went on patrolling until he chanced upon one particular noble waiting at the train station. When he returned the bouquet, it was the first time he had spoken to one and that's when he realized that they were just like them, only richer and fancier. He now managed to see them as people, instead of just oppressors.
Working at night, he witnessed several things that you don't normally see during the day. Robberies, wild animal attacks, murders and that weird person whom he saw walking around past curfew. He is usually found wandering the eastern side near the harbor at night, on horseback. By day, he is usually holed up in the keep or in the taverns.
Trivia:
- He doesn't bear any ill will towards the nobility though, he finds their behaviors and actions a bit odd at times. He does agree that the parties that last throughout the night are a bit annoying though.
- As a Rounder, they are required to have a standard set of equipment: A melee weapon, a rifle, a small pistol, some rope and a long polearm. His set has: One rapier, one pistol, one rifle, the rope and a spear resembling a naginata.
- His assigned area covers the whole eastern side along with a portion of the northern side where the train station is at.
- He has named his assigned horse, Valiant.
- His face claim is Setsuna F. Seiei from Mobile Suit Gundam 00.
