My name is Tamokaya Shiruko.
As you may have heard, I am the owner of the new, freshly opened club, 'Forfeit', and am looking for staff.
I believe, as you have reached this part of this, not-supposed-to-be-long text, you would be wondering 'Why mail people when you could just ask a newspaper or put up signs and stuff'. Well, thats a fairly good question, but I believe that, if I told you, you wouldn't really believe me.
Now, before you get any ideas, I am no stalker, nor am I mailing random people. You see, I'm willing to offer you a job, fairly good pay, about... Uhm.. Well, more than 60.000 Yen, and no embarassing jobs, you know, just the normal.
Right, I believe you are not convinced.
Let me put it this way.
You, are one of Seven selected people. Yes, I said SEVEN, no more, no less.
These seven people, have ALL been having awkward things happening around them for the past six months.
Now, this may sound even more awkward, but these seven people, aren't just normal people, they're more than that, but I 'aint giving you any spoilers, unless you really wish to find out.
You may feel free to question me, but do not expect me to give you an answer to everything.
If you do accept this job, I am waiting for you in Miyazaki Downtown. I doubt you'd be able to miss Club Forfeit, since its the only club in the Downtown.

Tamokaya looked at the clock. It was almost 7 P.M.
She smiled and wondered if everyone was going to come. She headed back to her room, and changed into a dark-purple tunic, and dark jeans, followed by heels. Tamokaya wasn't a big fan of heels, but her converse were dirty, so she decided to wear her formal shoes, for the day of the opening atleast. She took her touch-screen phone and walked downstairs, to where the club was. She came up to the door, and unlocked it as she walked outside. She leant on the exterior brick walls of the club, waiting for the seven to arrive... Well, actually, she just waited for atleast one of them to arrive.
She looked up as a group of teenagers came up to her, they were appearantly 16-17, and asked her if the club was open.
"Not yet kiddo's, it will be in twenty minutes though. Why don't you get a drink at a bar nearby and come back in twenty mins'?" She replied.
The teenagers nodded, smiling. 'First day, already some people. I guess I've been advertising well?' She thought.

Kenji neers closer he says" i don't know about this ...... but why not" He gets to the club and stops and stares " well well.....well ..... this is it not to badd ..not to bad" he than walks over to the woman leening on the wall."hello i'm Kenji Hasimono..........ar..are you Tamokaya" he said very timidly and he starts to fidget with his hands and then with his feet.
While Kenji was conversing with Tamokaya. Fabien comes in to Club Forfeit, he was beginning to set up his DJ equipment, computer and software. After he was done setting up for about 10 minutes. Fabien comes to the bar and orders a drink. Fabien didn't want to interrupt Kenji and Tamokaya so he decided to chill at the bar for a bit.
Tamokaya looked at Kenji for a moment, then smiled. "Yep, I'm Tamokaya. And you must be Kenji, don't ask how I know. Come on in." She told him, then opened the door, waiting for the male to walk in. She was surprised to see that Fabien was already there, she smirked slightly "Should've expected you to already be here. I guess I'm not paying enough attention to my surroundings. Oh well." she said, then turned her attention back to Kenji. "So, you accepted my job offer?"

"yes i am ......I....I needed to do some thing ...anything, I was going crazy just setting around the house" Kenji sets at the bar and turns around " this job gives me a chance to run on all fours"he relaxes a bit then closes his eyes and takes a deep breath." ya got a nice set up here..... so what do you need me to do boss "
Downtown, a red-haired girl was looking around confusedly obviously irritated. Her green eyes surveyed the surroundings while also looking at the cellphone in her hand.
"Stupid manager, if he only gave me that pay raise I surely wouldn't be here!" She screamed in frustration. She stamped her foot on the ground, stopping abruptly in the middle of the street. Several heads turned on her but she paid them no heed. She took one look at the sign on the road and when she saw the right direction for Club Forfeit she immediately took off flipping her hair without another glance.
"What job are you offering me?" was the first thing that Kyrielle loudly stated after entering the club. She looked around distastefully taking notice of the place's setup. She noticed a tall model like girl talking to a seemingly weak boy and went to them.
Flashing out a paper from her bag, she turned to the brown haired boy, "Are you the one who sent me this?"
"Stupid manager, if he only gave me that pay raise I surely wouldn't be here!" She screamed in frustration. She stamped her foot on the ground, stopping abruptly in the middle of the street. She took one look at the sign on the road and when she saw the right direction for Club Forfeit she immediately took off flipping her hair without another glance.

Fabien was sipping on his ice-cold drink and he heard the loud outburst from the red-haired girl. "Geez, can't I have a drink in peace" Fabien thought. As he finished his drink, he put his studio headphones around his neck and came up to the elevated platform where his DJ equipment is. He started the music and the sound reverberated throughout the whole club. He scratched effectively and put the sound effects in at the right time of the song. Fabien just did what he did because his job at Club Forfeit was to keep the guests partying and having a fun night. Fabien then overlooked towards Tamokaya and smiled at her.
" n..n..no it was not me" he puts his hand in his pocket and takes out the letter."I have one as well.....s..s..se..see" Kenji walks behind the bar and mixes him self a drink in the matter of a few sec. " hope you dont mind boss" as he looks at Tamyokaya, he then puts the right amount into the cash regester.
"You're pretty hot-headed, 'aint ya' Kyrielle?" Tamokaya joked, smirking at the girl. "I was the one who sent the letter, and I'm offering you a job at this club, incase you hadn't already guessed yourself. You get to decide though, you can be a waitress... Or waiter." She said, looking at Kenji "Or... You could work at the bar. Or anything else that comes to your mind as long as its useful." She joked again.
"My name is Tamokaya. Thats Fabien over there." She said, gesturing towards the cold-looking boy. "And this is Kenji. Everyone here is as new as you.. Well aside from Fabien, I've known him for a while." She smiled brightly at the girl, showing a welcoming attitude.

Kyrielle blushed, her face turning a deep shade of red. Seeing this welcoming person in front of her made her feel ashamed of her attitude awhile ago.
For Kyrielle, when meeting someone else she had two types of approach: first, be a spoiled brat--specially to those all high and mighty people and second, for the nice ones--be the sweetest girl they'd ever met. It's a standard she set for herself to ensure that no matter what happens she'd have control on the situation. Certainly this person in front--her new boss, if she actually decide to work here, fell on the second category.
"Sorry," she stated intentionally hiding her face behind her hands. "I--I thought..." She then noticed their expressions, and composing herself, she stated: "Work here?"
Thinking about the offer made her remember what happened earlier on her job and the red-haired girl's expression turned sour. "Any job you say?"
She looked at them for a long while and then she stared at the counter. "Fine, I won't ever be a waitress. I had enough of that from my last job."
Letting out a sigh, she looked at Tamokaya and said, "I want to be the chef. I don't want to be with other people that much if I can help it."
She then turned to Fabien and Kenji, "Nice meeting you! I'm Kyrielle, you can call me Kyrie though." Her words were filled with warmth but her eyes show none of the enthusiasm her voice portrays.

Fabien pressed the automix button on his DJ turntables and let the catchy Euro-pop song by Eiffel 65 play as it reverberates throughout the whole club. "Nice to meet you too, Kyrielle, My name is Fabien, I'm the DJ here, if you have any questions, ask me or Tamokaya because I've been working here ever since the club's been open" After saying his introduction, he went back up to his platform and scratched to keep the party going. When the time is right and everybody is in to the music, he drops the bass to calm down the crowd yet at the same time, Fabien increases the euphoria around the whole place.
" Hi im Kenji.." he says with a big smile on his face, then he chugs the last bit of his drink then sets it on the bar. " nice to meet you...." he looks at tamokaya" how did ya know about what is or has happen to us" at that point a small kitten climes up Kenji's back and perches on his sholder. The kitten snuggles up to Kenji's , he pats it softly. it starts to pur

"What's with you and that cat?" Kyrielle asked. Her question came out as rude and demanding but the surprise and confusion was evident in her eyes.
"Where did it came from anyway?" She added looking at it closely. The red-haired really wanted to touch it, already getting quite taken by its cuteness but since she didn't want to look weak to her new workmates, she tried to control herself. If they learned that she's fond of cute animals like little kitty cats, it may completely tarnish the cold persona she wanted to establish here. She already started off in a bad foot with them and she didn't want to have another mishap with this new bunch of people whom she still didn't really know.
'It's just a cat... a cute... a little cat, nothing cute cat, Kyrielle...' She lightly shook her head and steeled her resolve.
"Never mind." She added a little snobbishly turning her back to Kenji. "Anyway, ...boss", she looked at Tamokaya and said, "I'll be starting now."

After three hours of mixing, Fabien took a break from his mix set and then he went to the bar with Kenji in the bar top. "Hey Kenji, you know how to make a Mai Tai, I need one for a break after doing a mix-set." Fabien said to Kenji. Fabien then smiled at the little kitten and added "You got a name for the little chat*?"

Meanwhile, Kyrielle found no luck at the kitchen. She had found a small-sized kitchen on the back and decided to start cooking. Ever since then, she was trying to come up with a food to serve along the drinks at the club. Three hours later, she found herself with failing results. She stared at the empty plate exasperatedly. In her great annoyance, she was ready to throw all the utensils outside the window. 'Is it really that hard to prepare food?!'
Speaking of preparing food, she stared at the door and wondered. What did Tamokaya want with them? Sure, the violet haired model-like woman may have wanted some helping hands for this club. Kyrielle concluded easily, upon obviously seeing Club Forfeit's sorry state. After all a club looking for new employees is plausible and that's the only reason she can come up with on why she was invited here. But really, how did Tamokaya found out about her? Kyrielle" Fabien questioned and he saw Kyrielle's eyes, her gaze was demanding and cold. Fabien then shifted from a welcoming demeanor to a serious one.
Kyrielle held out a familiar piece of paper and gave it to Fabien. It was Tamokaya's invitation letter to her. She had retrieved it from her bag before she approached him.
"What's the meaning of this?" She asked callously. Her eyes flickering to him and the others. "I'll say it bluntly, I never submitted a resume here at Club Forfeit, I don't even know a club like this exists! So please, can you explain how did you guys found out about me? And what do you mean with one of the Seven selected people?"

Fabien was looking at the invitation letter and gave Kyrielle a serious look. "The 7-selected people are the guys and gals with superpowers and I'm one of them". Fabien said. "However, just because I'm Tamo's (Tamokaya) friend doesn't mean I know everything, in fact, I just went along with her but the methods that she found all 7 of the selected people were confidential and Finally, the club just opened 6 months ago and we're not that well-known yet since we're started to get settled into the downtown night life." Fabien added. "If you're going to ask anymore inquisitive questions, Tamoyaka and I would rather not answer anymore of them, We're not going to spoil the whole thing for all you guys. By the way, Since you're a chef, aren't you supposed to be cooking food for all the patrons in the bar?" Fabien added yet again

kenji stands there quietly still wating for someone to come to the clubhe then looks at the kitten "slow night i gess Rai" rhe kitten had fallen asleep alittle while age Kenji theen puts on his jacket and slowly picks up Rai and sets him in the hood of the jacket that Kenji was wearing " there you go my friend here you'll be safe for the night" kenji goes back to cleaning tring to keep out of trubble.
"Superpowers?" Kyrielle stated the word with obvious disbelief. As far as I know, I'm perfectly normal! She thought quite put off with the way he evaded some of her questions. Why couldn't they just answer her and be done with things?
When she heard Fabien ask about the food, she can't help but stare at him somewhat sheepishly. "I...", she started trying not to look embarrassed but still appearing to look even more so. She clenched her hands into fists and turned away, her ears reddish in color. After a moment of silence, she finally had enough when Fabien still stared at her. "Fine!" "Now do you believe me and if you still don't, touch my hand" Fabien added. "Well, If you don't know how to cook, how bout I teach you how to cook, I used to cook a while back" Fabien suggestively said. Fabien knew that Kyrie was going to be handful if she were to keep the diva-like attitude up.
It wasn't only Kyrielle's foot that froze when Fabien did that. Staring at him quite fearfully, she felt her heart freeze and gaped at him. "S-stop!" Her voice was laced with fear and hesitation. She stared at the man's cold eyes and gulped involuntarily. "OK, I believe you. C-can you now let go of my foot?" She tried to sound assuring, confident even, but she obviously failed when she tripped on her words.
She waited until Fabien unfrozen her feet, and the minute that he did, she immediately run behind Kenji on the bar stool. "I-i don't need your help! I can cook on my own!"

He didn't mean to be intimidating but he knew that there was something more to Kyrie beneath the arrogant and diva-like demeanor.
