He turned around and headed to the inside of the ship to make sure everyone was doing okay with the sleeping arrangements. He didn't even realize that he had just passed the Fortesque couple, who were most definitely not of their group. It was so dark, he could barely make out the faces of anyone in the pitch black of night. Duke opened the door and looked through the long cabin of many hammocks, and now many people. They were all getting situated either on the hammocks or on the floor. Everything seemed to be good.
Duke had already decided that he wouldn't be sleeping tonight. He'd stay up with Abel as he steered the ship. It would only be a few hours till sunrise anyways and he didn't feel too tired. Duke looked back to the town but he could now see almost none of it. Just a small amount of faint lights from a few building near the ports. They were really gone, and there was no going back. Good riddance.
((Sorry if it's full of crap. I didn't have much to write about.))
