Alice smiled as she moved him out of the way gently. She stopped to talk to a couple of other people on her way to the lunch room. Once she got in she took her normal seat by the window, and whipped her phone back out to talk with her friends.
Come over to my house tonight! I hope you guys remembered about the sleepover :)!
Closing her phone she saw some of her other friends coming over to her and they all started talking. She didn't mention the sleepover to them, because she didn't want to be rude since they weren't invited. They laughed and talked about stupid girly things. Alice then got up from lunch and finished the rest of her Friday of school out. She was so excited to hang out with her friends, as if she didn't see them everyday. Alice ran out of the school building to her car and turned the music up, then sped out of the parking lot.
She danced to every song that came on and sang every lyric, as if she hadn't a care in the world. Pulling up to the store parking lot she hopped out the car and began to get some supplies for her sleepover. Alice tossed about every single thing that was sweet in the store into her cart. "Have a nice day!" Alice waved frantically at the cashier lady as she walked out the store. She sped back home to set everything up. She put out some bowls full of candy and chips. Throwing on her striped apron she started baking a cake. While the cake was baking she ran upstairs to take a shower. She just threw on some pajamas since it was a sleepover.
By the time she came back down the cake was done and she started icing it. Alice put the cake next to everything else and sat down on the couch. "Wow this day took forever to finish!" She exclaimed as she laid her head back and waited for her friends to arrive.

Of course I didn't forget idiot! I'll be there asap xoxo
Finally, as if it knew she was going insane, the bell rang. Shaylin was so excited she practically flew out of the classroom, beating everyone else to the door. The hallways were bustling with students trying to escape the prison that was school but they were no match for the strong brunette pushing and shoving people out of her way to make for the exit. "Whoops sorry, guess I don't know my own strength." She giggled and called back to a poor boy she'd accidentally knocked down. Outside she jumped on her purple vespa and rode off down the street, weaving in and out of cars while listening to Kesha songs on her iPod. "We are who we are!" She was practically yelling the words at random people just to see how they reacted, earning a few brow raises and the finger from one unhappy truck driver. "Hello to you to!" She fired back at him, returning his ever so friendly gesture.
A few minutes and strange looks later Shaylin was at home tossing clothes and movies into a lime green overnight bag. "I wonder if I should bring some candy." She knew Alice probably already had a slew of treats for them, but Shay snatched a bag of Junior Mints and M&M's and tossed them in her bag too. 'Hi daddy! Just remembered I promised Alice and Taura we'd all have a sleepover. Reschedule? Luv ya! She stuck the yellow Post-it note to the refrigerator and dashed out of the door, speeding dangerously to Alice's house. She parked on the street and ran across the front lawn, banging on the door. "Allllllllllice! Lemme in before I kick down the door!" It wasn't hard to tell when Shaylin was close by, she was always yelling and singing off-key to her favorite songs.

~It'll have to wait.~ Taura thought.
It was against the rules to answer cell phones during class, and that included text messaging too. Taura was the kind of girl that always followed the rules. The only time she let loose was when she was with her two best friends Sheylin and Alice. With their different personalities, it was a wonder that they were close. Each brought out the best in each other. It seemed nothing could tear them apart. Tonight they were having a sleepover at Alice's house. Thank God for Fridays. As soon as the bell rang, Taura put her things up and left the classroom. Only then did she look at her cell phone and saw the text message. Grinning, Taura text back.
Don't worry, I haven't forgotten.
If anyone was to forget something, it was Alice for she was a bit absentminded, but that's what added to her charm. She didn't have a mean bone in her body. It was this kind of behavior that had alot of boys looking her way. Luckily both Sheylin and herself were there to protect her from the 'unsavory' ones, most of the time at least.
Taura went home to pack up her things as well as grab extra naptkins, paper plates, and utencils. She had been saving up money from her part-time job too so she was paying for their dinner tonight. Taura planned on ordering pizza. She rarely got to have but had an addiction for it thanks to her friends.
"Honey is that you?" called out Taura's mother.
"Yes mother."
"You have that sleepover tonight right?" she asked as she came from the other room.
"Yes mother."
"Here, I had Janice make you and your friends some snacks." the dark brunette woman smiled, refering to their housekeeper.
Taura came from a wealthy family so they had a hired housekeeper. Taura wasn't expecting this.
"Oh, thank you mother. I'll be back home tomorrow aftertoon okay." Taura replied.
"Very well than. Have a nice time." her mother said.
"Bye mother." Taura said before taking some of her things and packing it into her Bentley Azure T, which was a convertable, a gift to her from her father on her 16th birthday.
Taura hadn't wanted such an expensive luxury car in fear of it getting stolen, but her father was so nice about it that she couldn't really refuse. Her father did assure her though of the latest sercurity system had been installed though. And apparantly it did for it did get stollen once and they found it that same day. Miraculously there was no damage. After all her gear was packed, Taura took off. It didn't take her long to make it to Alice's house and she pulled up behind Sheylin's car. Apparantly Sheylin just arrived herself.
"Hey Shey, how are you?" she asked her friend as she came up with some of her things.

It was her, he knew it at once. The same girl he had seen eight years ago, but there was a change, such a change! Time passed quickly in the mortal world, and the humans aged swiftly. She still had the same bright aura shining from her soul that drew him as a moth to a candle flame, but whereas before her spirit had shimmered gently with the spring purity of childhood, now her soul was beginning to blossom and burn with the summer of youth. The spark of grace that had once twinkled in her eyes now radiated from her like a brilliant shower of stars. She was physically beautiful too, as though her soul had stamped its seal upon her face and body. Looking at her, seeing the sweet simple innocence of her every word and action, he felt his blood begin to pound and dark desires stir within his heart.
That morning he had waited for her outside her home, for it was law that no angel should enter the dwelling place of a mortal without invitation. He followed her on wing as she entered her mechanical chariot and drove it along the public highway towards her academy. Once there she was joined by some of her friends; none of them compared to her, she was like a swan amongst crows. When she moved to class Satariel followed her, flying outside the school buildings and watching her through the windows. Sometimes she scribbled notes but more often she seemed to be daydreaming or giggling to herself, not paying much attention to her teachers. Satariel was shocked that humans should be so disrespectful to their elders, but he forgave her instantly, because how could anyone be upset with her?
Being so close to her but not being allowed to draw near was torture. He longed to reveal himself, so that she would give him one glance, just one glance with those milk-chocolate eyes. That one glance would make the rest of his life bearable. But he was not so far out of his senses to make himself visible in front of dozens of mortals. That would attract attention from the Enemy and possibly end his life.
There was one moment, one glorious moment where she gazed out of the window and seemed to lock eyes with him as he perched in a tree. His heart stopped beating, he felt blood rush to his face and a sick churning feeling in his stomach - She's looking at me! - but the moment passed, she turned away and of course she couldn't see him, she was a human.
He felt furious when she saw her interacting with the other humans. She would throw back her pretty head and laugh, favour them with smiles and her sweet voice, which sounded more melodious to Satariel's ears than all the golden-stringed harps, silver timbrels and glass flutes played by the master Jinn of his own country. All her charms she distributed freely to those wretched humans, but there was nothing for him! She was like the golden deer who scattered gold pieces among beggars, not realising her own worth. This desperation was killing him. He wanted her to sit close to him, look at him like that, laugh for him like that. He would give anything to change place with one of those oh-so-fortunate humans!
Wait. Change place with a human? Or take the place of one? Perhaps there was a way for him to be close to her after all!
He followed on silent wings as she returned to her mechanical chariot and drove away. He had seen her conversing with a little human-made device, like a magic mirror, that allowed her to communicate with her friends. She seemed very cheerful and he was happy for her. He saw her safely home and watched as she disappeared behind the closed door that he could not pass. He watched silently for a while, hoping to catch a glimpse of her through the windows, but it was in vain. Then he spread his wings and rose into the sky.
Soon they would be together.

"Wow these texts came in earlier, so they must be here!" Alice smiled widely as she ran to check her windows. She saw Shaylin banging on her door like crazy. Alice yanked opened the door and jumped onto Shaylin. "Yay! You guys are here!" Alice yelled as she got off of Shaylin and jumped onto Taura. "We are going to have fun!" She said as she got off of Taura and pulled her into the house. On the way in she grabbed Shaylin's arm and pulled her in to. She closed the door behind them, and went into the kitchen.
"Look at all of the stuff that I got! And over here is a cake that I made!" Alice was so giddy now that her friends were here. "Oh and I went for a swim while I waited for you guys, which explains why I have a bathing suit on." She smiled widely at the two girls, then walked over to the radio. "Let's listen to a little music shall we?" Turning the radio up as loud as it would go she started dancing. Alice walked over to Shaylin and Taura and grabbed their arms. "Let's dance!" At that Alice started moving their arms making them dance with her. She knew that it was going to be a fun weekend already with her two best friends.

"Geez you'd think you played football the way you almost knocked me down." The brunette giggled and walk into the house, instantly becoming enraptured in the delicious aroma of freshly baked food. "I bought candies for us!" She let Alice pull her into the house, laughing the whole time, like she always did when she was around her two best friends.
"We should go swimming too, I bought my bikini!" Shaylin stopped dancing and looked back at her two friends, stuck her tongue out at them, and darted off out the back door. A moment later you could her the splash she made from jumping in the pool. "Get out here you fools!" She yelled, swimming around in the pool fully clothed in her school clothes. "Ah life is good." She sighed, back-stroking the length of the pool.

Just as the thought ran through his head, he heard Ryan's unmistakable voice. The cat screeched to a halt, turning around and looking up to see Ryan. He was sitting in a tree and playing a game, go figure. He looked around, seeing that he was surrounded by people. They would be able to see him in his cat form, but not in his true form, they were only humans. He slipped into a nearby bush and changed into his normal form. He would step out of the bush, knowing he wouldn't have to worry about the humans seeing him. To them it looked as though a cat had slipped into the bush, and then sneaked away to do whatever cats did, something that happened all the time.
He brushed his clothes, as if brushing the dirt off of them, and looked up at Ryan. "Ryan! I assume by your laid back demeanor that you know where Satariel is?" Rocky would be surprised if he did know. Ryan wasn't the type to care. Why did Rocky care so much? Satariel is his friend, it's his job to care. Not only that, but Satariel was in a realm that he was unfamiliar with. Royals couldn't come and go as freely as peasants such as Ryan and himself. The two worlds were so different, he could imagine the poor prince being lost and alone, maybe even lying on the street curb from being struck by a car because he didn't know what the red and green lights meant. Rocky put his hand to his head, he needed to calm down before he exploded, surely the Prince would be fine. He looked back to Ryan, still worried. If anything did happen to him, it would be Ryan and Rocky to suffer the consequences. They could be killed for just bringing him here in the first place. 'Why did I have to be swayed by that stupid royal charm!' He thought to himself.

"Alice! You're scattering water all over the place." she said initially with some authority in her voice.
However, she could remain upset for long because Alice was so nice that one just couldn't stay angry with her. She put her things down before going outside to get the rest of her things.
"I know we planned on ordering pizza, but my housekeeper supplied us with some food per my mother's orders. So we best eat most of it or well, you know how my mom is." she groaned.
She sighed when Sheylin jumped into the pool and laughed when Alice wanted to dance.
"We can't do both you know. Since you're still wet Alice and Shaylin's already in the pool, why don't we swim now and dance later hmm? I am going to get changed in your room." Taura said before taking her bag with her clothes and went into Alice's room.
She came back out in a bikini that was all blue and she didn't have her glasses on. However, she did have goggles with her and haid her hair pulled back in a ponytail. She also had put on sunscreen.
"Here's some sunscreen girls. It's probably a good idea to put some on." she suggest looking mostly at Shaylin who tend to forget to put some on.
She put it on the counter and walked outside before doing something she would only do in front of her two best friends.
"BONSAI!!!" she screamed as she ran and did a cannonball into the pool, causing a big splash.
She came up laughing.
"Sorry I couldn't help myself." she laughed.

It wasn't going to be simple to enrol in her academy. First he would have to manifest himself in a shape that was revealing enough to be visible to humans, while at the same time concealing his true nature. He couldn't risk showing her that he was a denizen of the underworld, because he knew the humans were raised from birth to be prejudiced against demons. He might frighten her and lose his chance. No, he would have to first approach her as a human and win her trust before being honest with her about his real identity, and while he was in that exposed human form he wouldn't be able to use much of his powers without attracting unwanted attention from other supernatural forces. That would make things difficult for him. After all, he hardly knew how things worked in human society. Now that he thought of it, he didn't really know much about how humans behaved, what they ate, what sort of pastimes they enjoyed, what kinds of garments were in fashion. Would he be able to pass for one?
If only there was someone he could turn to for advice, someone who was skilled in transformations, familiar with the ways of humans, and above all loyal enough to help him with this plan that broke all the rules of demonic princely conduct. Of course there was: Rocky! He was a gifted shape shifter, a frequent traveller to this realm, and would do anything to help Satariel even if it went against his better judgement.
The thought of Rocky made Satariel feel somewhat guilty, as he remembered how he had escaped from his two friends to spy on his beloved. He knew he was putting them in danger. It was all right for them to travel to this world so long as they kept a low profile, but as the prince of the Dark Kingdom, Satariel was a much bigger target. For his own safety and everyone else's he should really be escorted by a troop of guards, or better yet locked away in the palace. But he was tired of being denied his freedom, and being surrounded by servants and guards would prevent him from seeing his beloved. So he had taken to visiting the human world alone, and his two friends had come with him, in Rocky's case out of concern and loyalty, and in Ryan's case... well, probably out of boredom, but it was hard to know why Ryan did anything, as he hardly spoke.
Satariel smiled to himself. Yes, Rocky would definitely help him with this plan. Sure, he would say that it was wrong and crazy and foolish in the extreme (and part of Satariel knew this was true), but when Satariel insisted, Rocky would do it anyway. There were some people you just knew you could rely on.
Satariel sped back in the direction he had come, scanning the ground for his companions. Eventually he spotted them, their demonic auras burning brighter and more beautiful than the surrounding humans (though if she had been there, her presence would have eclipsed them all, human or no). Now, this next part was going to be tricky. Rocky was not going to be pleased at being abandoned. He would take the opportunity to lecture Satariel about how dangerous the human world could be, and how a prince should act responsibly. But Satariel wasn't too worried because if he played his cards right, he could turn on his charm and appeal to Rocky's soft side.
Satariel swooped down and alighted on the ground before Rocky, beaming. "There you are, Rocky. My dear friend, I need your help."

"Hey guys I just got a great idea! What if we take a picture in the pool!" Alice squealed as she jumped out of the pool and ran into the house. She left wet foot prints leading up to her room upstairs. She quickly scanned her room until she found what she was looking for. "There you are!" She pointed out a camera sitting on top of a stand and quickly grabbed it. "I'm back with the camera!" She exclaimed as she ran out with the camera and it's stand. "And a click ,and one more click, and I'm done." Alice spoke quietly to herself under her breath, as she put the camera on a timer.
"Okay okay okay get close together!" Alice slid more calmly into the pool, so she wouldn't get her new camera wet. She quickly grabbed her friends and pooled them close to her. She smiled widely when the flash went off, then looked at the other two girls. "Okay goofy faces!" She laughed as she scrunched her nose and stuck her toung out. "And just one more." Alice looked at the other two, but before she could think of another picture the flash went off. "Hey no fair I wasn't ready for that one!"
She railed on about not being ready for the picture, then turned back to the other two girls. "Oh well then..." Alice gave a short pause then got a fabulous idea. She pushed the other two girls heads down into the water then swam away. "Haha!" Alice thought that it was the best thing in the world.

She disappeared underwater again, emerged from the deep end, and climbed to the top of the slide. "This is my utopia, Shaylandia, I am the supreme overload!" She was practically screaming at the top of her lungs now, her fist raised high in the air. Some might have thought she had a screw loose, and maybe they were right, but this was the way Shaylin behaved every day of her life. It was a miracle her parents didn't have her locked away in an asylum somewhere.
It was a miracle she hadn't accidentally killed herself by pulling some wild 'adventurous' stunt. "Now behold with amazement as I perform an extremely difficult move, this is not recommended for toddlers and old people." Shay laughed then climbed down from the slide and backed up a few feet away from the edge of the concrete by the deep end of the pool. Her expression changed to a serious countenance as she took a quick breath then started running towards the water.
She hopped up on the diving board then jumped again, throwing her body into a front handspring, then diving into the water. After a second she swam back up, a giant grin on her face. "Tada, that's something they don't teach you in math class!" Unfortunately that had taken up most of her energy, or what was left of it after school, and Shay exhaled deeply and started floating on her back. "No more of that."

"Gees Alice, you trying to kill us?" she asked, trying to look mad, but couldn't hide the sparkle in her eyes.
Taura wished she got a few pictures of Shaylin and Alice wrestling in the water for it was funny to watch. She did worry though that Shaylin would accidentally hurt Alice, but the two seemed to be having such a good time. Taura watched as her friend made a dive and was surprised by the lack of splash. That was when she remembered going to a few of Shaylin's diving competitions and it was explained how important is was for a diver not to splash when he or she hit the water. It was fascinating really. Than again, Taura's mind thirsted for knowledge. When she saw Shaylin float, she giggled.
"Why Shaylin, I thought you never got tired hehe." she said.

Alice said as she scratched her head. It was kinda easy for her to forget stuff sometimes. With all of her own party planning it's easy to forget other parties. "We have plenty of time to get ready if we start now!" Alice jumped out of the pool and ran inside. This was a perfect night for her being able to hang out with her friends and go to a senior party, it was going to be amazing. She grabbed her phone and began to text the twins letting them know that her, Shay, and Taura were all going to be there. "There is no party without us three!" She yelled back at the other two girls.
Practically hopping up the stairs she went into her room to grab a blue and white dress. Her closet was full of party clothes, since it was her specialty. Alice went and washed her hair and took a shower to clean all of the chemicals off of her. She went back outside were the other two girls were, while brushing her hair out. "Hey guys come on don't just stand there!" Alice laughed out loud while still brushing her hair out.

"Hey girls, my Aunt Louisa has created some new body spray if you want to try it." she mentioned as she brought it out.
Her aunt was a certified Herbologist and made a career of creating body products, including Hair products. Since more and more people were going for good with natural products, Taura's aunt was very successful. She often gave her niece free samples and often sent enough for her to share with her friends. All of Taura's body products were from her aunt. Her Aunt Louisa also loved to experiament and tended to make many mistakes before getting the right combination.

Luckily she found an acid washed denim skirt, electric blue halter-top, and a few accessories that were just her type. She went down the hallway and got ready in the guest bath, emerging a new girl. She'd managed to tame her chocolate brown hair, flat ironing it and leaving some hair across her forehead for a bang. She wasn't the type of girl to wear loads of makeup, it made her feeling like she was suffocating. Shay felt comfortable with some black, sparkly mascara, and a very little bit of eyeliner.
"Bam, this girl is dangerous." Shaylin winked at herself in the mirror then went back downstairs. She plopped down on the couch and waited for the others, digging into her giant bag of skittles. Her phone started going crazy and seized her attention. "Hello? Oh hi daddy. Yeah, we're just hanging out doing girly stuff, I'll spare you the boring details. Let's go to that fancy place by the beach, that would be awesome! Love you, bye!" Shay was glad she had such an understanding father, he knew her two best friends meant the world to her, otherwise she would have felt bad about ditching him before dinner.
"Ooh let me try some of that!" Shaylin sprang up from the couch and looked at the bottle of Taura's aunt's latest creation. She took the bottle and lightly spritzed her wrist, tapping them together then pressed them against her neck. "Oh my God, this stuff is amazing! Your aunt is a genius." Shaylin spun around, inhaling the delicious aroma. "Alice hurry up, I'm ready to party!" Shay giggled, retaking her spot on the couch with her trusty bag of candy.

She jingled the keys in front of her friends laughing. Alice wouldn't normally do something like this, but it was her friends and she didn't want to disappoint anyone. Tossing the keys up and catching them she turned to walk out of the door. Giving one last glance in the mirror to make sure that her make-up was alright she turned back to the other two. "Come on we don't want to be late!" Alice walked back and grabbed the other two girls arms. She was ecstatic to go to the party. She felt like a little kid going on vacation.
Pulling the girls and pushing them both into the back of the car, Alice hopped into the front seat and sped off. She put the top down on the car and let the wind dry the rest of her hair out. "Sorry it's not up to speed with yours Taura!" She yelled back at the her laughing historically. Alice knew that she wasn't that type of person, Taura knew her parents were wealthy and didn't rub it in. That one of the many things that Ali liked about her. They pulled up to the house were the party was and she parked the car in the street.
It was a nice neighbor hood, so she didn't worry about the car to much. "Time to have some fun!" Ali jumped out of the car walking up to the front door with her powder blue stilettos clicking on the ground. "Hey are you guys coming or not!"

"There you are Tari!" He started, a happy tone that was soon soured. "Where have you been! Do you have any idea how dangerous it is out here, the things that could have happened to you!? You could have been seen, kidnapped, hit, anything!" He lowered his voice when he noticed that he had been shaking the boy's shoulders. He put his head down with a sigh, then looked back up at him with an apologetic look. "Sorry, you know how worried I get." He let his hands drop to his side. He turned on his heel to say something to Ryan when the words that Satariel had said struck him. He could see the trouble brewing already.
"And what would that be?" He asked as he turned back towards him, his expression filled with suspiciousness. Rocky knew he would end up helping him. He had learned that the prince got what he wanted early on and there was no sense in arguing. He couldn't help but wonder what crazy scheme he had thought up, and if Rocky would even be able to do it in the first place.

Before she even knew it Alice was dragging her and Shaylin to her father's Mercedes-Benz. She would have offered to drive them but she was overly-cautious about her car. Of course, Alice's father's car was an expensive car too, even though it wasn't as luxurious as her's. When they arrived, Taura took her time to get out of the car. Soon she join Alice at the door.
"Alice, don't you think you better lock the car?" she suggested.

Not that he would have protested.
After all, if he had been killed, then Incendia would have failed his duty, and so his life would have been forfeit.
Sensing the Prince's return, Incendia had initially done nothing. It would have been suspicious if he were to so carelessly abandon the Prince's presence for anything. So instead, he had done the unthinkable, and had entered the Prince's room. From there, he slipped out of the window unnoticed. That meant he was able to head for the Prince totally unnoticed by other residential staff. As he approached, he gave a small grin at the sound of Rocky already beginning to chew out Satariel. For his position in society, the man didn't hesitate to berate the Prince for anything. Incedia's grin disappeared as he made himself known, stepping around a corner. There, he took off his hat, and performed a deep bow in the direction of the Prince.
"Your Majesty." He didn't rise up from the bow, "I apologize, but I had to enter your room in order to get here. I hope that you can forgive me for such an intrusion."

"Imagine what would happen if someone stole your daddy's shiny car, wouldn't want to be in your shoes Alice." She caught up to her friend and waited for her to lock the car before continuing on. She hadn't even reached the front door yet and could already feel dance music pulsing throughout the structure. "In we go." Shay grabbed onto Alice and Taura's wrist leading them inside, then dropped them once they got halfway through the grand foyer. The place was packed, people from wall to wall like it was a nightclub. It was the usual crowd, a bunch of people from school, a few she never even knew existed, couples making out in corners, others dancing, some people drunk already. Shaylin never touched alcohol, she always thought getting drunk was a waste of time. She was the girl who watched other people get intoxicated and laughed when they did something stupid.
She fell back by Alice's free side, just waiting for some slimy guy to hit on her. She would give him a swift kick first, then a nice punch to the face. She'd done it dozens of times before, it was her regular routine whenever they went to parties. Alice was a sweet, caring girl, and guys were just waiting to take advantage of that. Of course Shay would never let that happen, and she knew Taura was the same way.

"You guys are too nice." Her friends were like her security guards when they were at parties. She knew that no normal friend would do such a thing for her. "Lets head to the back." She smiled at the other two then began to head for the beach. "Wow you guys did a good job with this one!"
Alice said to the twins that were throwing the party. "That means a lot coming from you Alice." One of the twins replied back to her, while the other one was talking to someone else. Alice didn't even notice that her friends were still headed for the beach. She started talking to another girl while eating chips among other things. Afterall she couldn't go to a party and not eat anything.
"Hey Ali why did you stand me up for our date?" Alice felt a firm grip on her arm, before the person twirled her around. Her back was facing the man, so that she was facing the ocean water. "I didn't stand you up. Remember I told you that you're not my type." She knew that he was drunk from the smell of his nasty breath.
The grip on her arm grew tighter, and she started getting scared. The guy pulled her back into the house, into the kitchen where no one else was. "You know that your going to have to make up for not coming with me right?" Alice took a deep breath feeling extremly scared at this point.
Only one thing came to her mind and that was to run. This was the first time that something like this happened to her. Most of the time her friends were there to help her, but the music was so loud, if she did scream no one would hear her. Ali elbowed himas hard as she could and tried to run.
But to no avail he grabbed her tighter when she tried to run. "Your not getting away that easy!" He yelled at her before pulling her face close to his. "Let me go you're drunk!" Her voice was shaky as she kept trying to get away from him. All he did was laugh at her struggles while she tried to get away.
This was not what she had in mind for going to the party tonight.

"Great, Shay, we've lost Alice." she said before looking around.
She searched the area by retracing their steps and soon her Alice. What she saw next was something that enraged her and that was rare. Instead of letting her anger take control though, she used that energy to do something different. It was one of the first rules she learned in karate, never let your emotions take over and channel it. That's exactly what she did. She came up to the guy and tapped him on the shoulder. When he turned around, Taura gave him her scary glare that even frightened the toughest of guys.
"Back off mister, or I'll make you. And this is your only warning." she said, icy anger in her voice.
She might have learned how to fight, but she never started one without a proper warning first.

"Gee Alice we can't even be apart for two seconds without some bastard trying to corner you." She growled and stepped up to the guy. He was taller than her, definitely weighed more than her, but she wasn't intemidated by him the least bit. Eyes narrowed she attempted to keep her cool. "I don't know who you think you are but you better stay away from Ali or I'll beat the hell outta you." She held his sloppy gaze for a moment then looked back at Alice, who was evidently shaken up by the encounter. She was just about to leave peacefully and enjoy the rest of the party when the guy actually swung at her from behind. He stumbled though and instead fell into the counter. Shaylin growled and spun back around, her right fist ready to strike. She grabbed the guy by his collar and crashed her fist directly into his nose, hoping she broke it. "You idiots never learn do you?"
The guy fell down to the tile floor, hands over his nose. Shay wasn't ready to quit yet. "Didn't anyone ever teach you not to hit a lady?" She managed to say between delivering punches repeatedly to the guy's face. After the thirteenth hit she stood up, brushed her skirt off and turned back to her friends, disgust clearly written all over her features. By now a crowd had gathered around them, the twins pushed their way to the front of the onlookers. "Oh my God what happened here?!" They chimmed in unison, Shaylin just rolled her eyes. "What do you think happened? This, my fellow students, is why you don't mess with either of my friends." She pointed to the male still rolling around on the floor and snickered. "There's nothing else to see here." She looked at Alice and smiled, then to Taura. "Sorry I couldn't help myself, he was asking for it." She said with a shrug.

Once again she looked at the guy and when she saw him stirring, she knelt down and whispered in his ear.
"And don't even think about pressing charges either pal. My cousin is the DA and we can get you for underage drinking as well as harrassment, so don't even try. Also, if you ever think about coming after Alice or any of us again, well, tonight was just a taste of what could happen." Taura warned.
Her demeanor changed just than and she stood up and bowed to the twins.
"Sorry for the disruption. Is there anyway we can call a taxi to get this guy home?" she asked with a small grin.
"Oh, certainly." one of the girls said before going off.
After that was taken care of, Taura turned to Alice.
"Come on, let's go freshen up and have some fun okay?" she suggested to both Shaylin and Alice with a smile.

Yeah. Got back from basic training saturday and it was straight to school again.
Re: [OOC] Devil
As you can tell we lost one of our main people, so unless we can find a replacement, then I don't know what to do.
Re: [OOC] Devil
Really sorry to do this to you, I struggled with this decision. Because we've already lost Eli and Rain is having troubles, I know that this could wreck the story. It wasn't an easy decision, but I have to do it for my sanity.
Re: [OOC] Devil
Random fact I posted YAY!
Re: [OOC] Devil
Btw, I checked out when Eli said he'd be back. He started basic on June 15th, and said be gone for 10 weeks and 4 days. So he should be back in a little over a month hopefully.
