Name:
Lucinda

Nickname:
Lucy

Age
18

Ethnicity and Hometown: Caucasian from London England

Sexuality:
Heterosexual, but bi-curious

Power:
Claw Retraction- Her bones extend through her skin, making claws. They grow to be about a 6 to 8 inches long and are harder than a diamond. She can use them to pick locks, fight, or climb things (when she learns how)

Limitation:
The limits on her claws are that they aren't unbreakable. Just as a bone can be broken, her claws can be broken in that manner. Unfortunately they aren't think enough to deflect things that are thrown at her. Also she can only pick house locks. Those are the only ones that fit her claws. Also they don't secrete poison like some people think. It is just a bone claw. Made for direct, hand to hand combat.

House:
Kalt House

Appearance
Let's start with Lucy's face. She has a oval shaped face that is complimented by her bleach blonde hair. Her bright round eyes are filled with a light brown. It sparkles in the sun making then seem hazel. Her complexion is flawless with minimal makeup. When she does have a lot of make up on, she is usually messing around. Her lips aren't very plump, but they have a pink tint and she doesn't use lipstick to get it that way. Her nose is pretty big, but she believes that it completes her face and it never bothered her.

Now onto her body. She is petite with little muscle, but she doesn't need it. She stands at 5'6" and weighs around 115lbs, but it isn't polite to ask a lady her weight. Her chest is averaged size with a non existent butt. Her legs aren't that toned, but they are defined. She walks a lot, so she is always working her legs. Her feet are size 6. She doesn't know where her feet size came from, they are just that small.

Moving on to her typical clothing and style. Lucy tends to dress a bit hipster, but she has her own style, but that is more evident in her hair and accessories. But she does dress like a typical teenager.

Special Marks
Lucinda Delouse was never allowed to get tattoos when she was at home and she never did. She saw no reason too. It was a pointless rebellion that some teenagers did that she never took part in. There were no birthmarks that she could find or was told about. Now piercings is another thing. She has two earring piercings on both ears and she has her belly button pierced. But that is all she has. She believes that any other piercing is unnecessary and too painful to get.

Occupation:
As a freshman she can't get a job. But she doesn't want one. Getting a job meant interacting with people that she may or may not like. She would rather stay home and receive her weekly checks in the mail.

Secret
Lucinda killed her brother, but she is denial. She often sees him walking around and she dreams of the night she killed him, over and over again.

Personality
Lucinda Delouse is not your average teenage girl although she dresses like one. Most teenage girls are social butterflies, running around between groups of friends and planing parties and what not. Lucy avoids parties and people at all cost. Being around others isn't something she enjoys doing. The only person that has ever taken up most of her time was her little brother, Lucas. He was the only one that got to know the real Lucinda. She plans to keep it that way. Another thing is that some girls focus on getting a boyfriend and falling in love, but Lucinda doesn't believe in love. The last person she loved ended up getting hurt and she never wants to go through that again. She shuts her heart off from the rest of the world because it is better that way.

Many girls tend to be preppy and optimistic, and Lucy is the opposite. She doesn't see the light at the end of every tunnel. She sees no end and never things of trying to find one. She takes things as they come and makes assumptions about them. There is one thing she has in common with typical teenage girls. She makes assumptions about people when she meets them. The difference is none of the assumptions are positive until proven otherwise.

There are things about Lucinda that most people don't know about. She is compassionate to those she cares about and sometimes to those she doesn't depending on her mood at the time. She also has a soft side for animals. The has a spot in her heart. Mostly because she can relate with some of them when it comes to her life. Lucy also thinks a lot about everything. Over analyzing something is her specialty. She doesn't do it on purpose, it just happens. On top of all this she merciful. When in a fight she won't finish off her opponent. She gives them another chance and she refuses to kill anyone(again).

History
Luther Delouse has been a problem child since he was a child. His schizophrenia didn't help either. It was minor and he was getting treatment allowing him to have a normal life. Colleen was a normal human being and a typical woman. She achieved most of her goals as a child and became successful in her adulthood. When these two met, they were complete opposites. They easily fell in love with each other and had a wedding not to long afterwards. They happily became Mr and Mrs. Delouse. The families were happy for them, but became worried when they had their first child. Lucinda.

Lucinda was showing the schizophrenia symptoms like her father, Luther, had. They had her treated at a young age so that she wouldn't have to take pills. Around age 3 a sign of a mutation, or power as some call it, started to show. Bones would elongate themselves and poke out of her skin forming claws. Her parents didn't know what to make of it and a private doctor suggested teaching her to hide it away. The methods in doing so were inhumane. Whenever she would hurt someone with her claws, whether on accident or on purpose, they would lock her in a cage they had built. She never thought it was necessary, but she couldn't argue with them. Her parents would also keep her from having too many friends and participating in any school activities that involved interactions with other people. The methods seemed to be working until Lucas was born when Lucinda was 10.

Lucinda loved Lucas will all her heart and she opened up to him and tried to keep her ability from him. She didn't want to scare him. Her parents were satisfied with Lucinda's progress and let her do what she wanted at school, but she didn't know anyone. She was sheltered for so long that she couldn't do what she wanted. People already believed that she was a freak that didn't make friends. Or some loser that could care less about others. Or her favorite. A bitch that keeps to herself. That one seemed to fit more. But it was causing her pain. Every night she would go home and have nightmares/dreams about hurting the people at her school that call her names. She would lose some and then she would win some. Last year, when Lucas was 7 and when she was 17, something terrible happened that wreaked havoc on the family. Lucinda killed her brother.

That night Lucy had a nightmare about her parents tearing her claws off and she started screaming and thrashing about. Her brother ran to her room to wake her up and her claws impaled him. When she awoke it was too late. He was bleeding out all over Lucy and her bed. She pulled her claws out and started screaming louder. Out of panic she was trying to stop the bleeding and bring him back, but there was nothing she could do. Her parents entered the room and just stared at the dead body. That was the night her father cracked. He started going laughing in hysteria. Colleen and Lucinda were scared. Lucy scampered away from the body, but Luther just came at her. He grabbed her hands and broke each of her claws. She cried, but he just laughed. Colleen called the police and she hid away. The arrested both Luther and Lucinda.

Luther was sent to a mental hospital for the rest of his life and Lucinda was put under government watch. They didn't know exactly what to do with her. But that night changed Lucinda. All those times she has been locked away, hidden, and forced to pretend to be something she isn't made her snap. She started hearing her brother's voice. She pushed back any memory of her killing her brother. She blames everything on her parents. It was their fault Lucas died, not hers. Often times when she talks a lot she starts to babble nonsense. After a year under government watch she was given a letter from Eltz Academy. They wanted her to attend and she agreed. Freedom was better than being watched every moment of every second. The people that were watching her gave her pills for her schizophrenia. She thinks the school will help, but she still hears the voices and sees her brother everywhere.

Beep! Beep! Beep! Lucinda groaned and rolled over pulling the pillow over her ear, in hopes to drown out the sound. Beep! Beep! Beep! It just kept getting louder. Sighing to removed the pillow and sat up in the bed. Quickly, she shut off the cursed alarm clock and took in her surroundings as her eyes adjusted to the light shining in her room. For a moment she forgot where she was, but then she remembered. Germany. Eltz Academy. Letter. It was coming back to her almost as if it was a bad dream. Unlike some freshman, she moved into her house early. It was to avoid the awkward goodbyes she would have to give her mother and father in front of the other people. They wouldn't understand.

Watching the time tick away on her clock she decided it was time to get up and attempt to get her day started. Lucy shuffled into the bathroom avoiding Lucky, her cat. She didn't want her feet to be all scratched up before she had the chance to get shoes on. After her personal business was complete she came back into her room to get dressed. It may not seem like it, but Lucy does like to dress nice. And it takes her just as long to get dressed as any other normal girl. Despite her need to break the code, Danielle would kill her. She was serious about the rules and that wasn't a voice she wanted to hear in the morning.

Lucy checked herself in the mirror and added her signature maroon beanie. Walking over to her night stand she pulled out a bottle that contained blue pills. Lucky mewed at her before she popped two in. Although these are supposed to help, she prays that she won't have to speak to anyone. She grabbed her phone and room keys before walking out into the hall. People were already mingling. Checking her phone for the time forced a sigh to escape her lips. It was too early in the morning for people to be striking up a conversation. What is there to talk about? Everyone just woke up. It's not like the sleeping position everyone was in is important.

Her stomach rumbled and she needed breakfast. For a strange reason her thoughts went out to Kian. He would surely bring her breakfast and keep her company until it was time to part ways. 'He is busy being head boy. Pick another person.' her thoughts told her. Quickly Jeremiah came to mind. She didn't know what he was doing, but he would surely get breakfast with her. But she decided against it and just started heading toward the cafeteria to get tea. If either of them wanted to talk to her right now, they would know how to find her. Follow the path of the maroon beanie.

OOC: I edited this. I forgot something important to my character that needed to be added.

Danielle woke up to the sound of her alarm groaning she turned it off and crawled out of bed "god I hate mornings" she mumbled as she walked towards the bathroom. She shook her head tossing her hair to the side, as she flicked the light switch on in the bathroom she stared at the mirror and looked at her hair which tody was a kind of light blue. "do I wanna dye it today?" she thought to herself as she twirled it around her fingers. She shook her head and walked over to the shower and went about her morning routine. She got dressed and walked out of her room to the main area and looked around to make sure there were no fights she needed to break up. SHe was a guardian for the Kalt houe and she took the job pretty seriously, she tried her best to encourage the students to come to her or a head boy if they needed an issue solved, but she knew people tended to avoid her a fair amount because of her temper. Once deciding that everything was okay she walked over to the cafeteria to get a cup of coffee, she grabbed a cup paid for it and took a sip. "a little too cold" she said and stared at her cup and let the liquid heat up at least another 5 degrees before taking another sip and smiling. Just as she looked up she noticed a familiar maroon beanie. She smiled and walked over towards Lucy and smiled "Hey Lucy how are you this morning?"

"Hey Lucy how are you this morning?" Lucy looked up from her tea cup to see Danielle looking at her. Smiling and waiting for a response. The pills she took this morning haven't exactly kicked in, so she was a bit out of it. She could see Lucas, her deceased brother, running around behind Danielle acting crazy. Knocking things over and shouting. She half a mind to scream and tell him to shut up, but Danielle was there. Still waiting. 'Don't babble. Don't babble' she kept telling herself over and over again. The smile. It was getting to her. Happiness. Lucas was full of happy.

"I don't know..." she said honestly looking back down at her tea. There was more to say, but she sipped her tea to keep her from speaking. This is why she didn't want to talk to anyone this morning. She didn't hate Danielle, but she didn't want to risk a babbling fit on her behalf. It wasn't worth it. No one was worth it. This is another reason why she enjoyed Jeremiah's company. He would just come over here and sit down. No hello. No good morning. No conversation. Just sitting and drinking tea. It was bliss. But Kian did the same thing almost. He would have conversations with himself. All she had to do was nod.

'Concentrate.' she reprimanded. Her mind was wandering to people that weren't even around. Lucas was stilling bouncing about, but he was slowly fading. It meant the pills were kicking in. She gripped her tea cup harder then necessary and she could feel her claws poking at her skin. She stared at the brown water, avoiding eye contact with Danielle. She took a long sip of her tea before setting it down on the table. There was nothing else to say to Danielle or anyone for that matter. Lucy was long gone and classes haven't even started. She kept her gaze on the tea that was resting on the table. She wasn't shy. Lucy was hiding the her emotions and thoughts that could be read through her eyes.

OOC: Let me know if Lucinda gets too crazy. I mean this is only the beginning and it gets worse, but I don't want to freak people out when I make her babble out loud.

It all seemed surreal just the other day he woke up under a tree suffering from dimensional sickness and just having lost his only friend, and brother. Today Vas was ironing his shirt for his first day school in 3 years... or was it 1 year... the fabric of time and space has been ripped just for him to arrive here and only through his brother sacrifice did he make it. The painful memories still fresh on his mind along the urge to curl into the fetal position around his toilet and vomit still plagued him, but he was not about to waste the opportunity given to him by being allowed to attend this academy.

Vas knew that this place was home to people like him, people with abilities beyond their control, and he also knew that everyone here was invited, something he was not. Only by the grace and generosity of the headmaster was he allowed to live and study here, for if not here he would have no place to go.

After putting the finishing touches to his smooth crimson colored collard shirt he gently slid both arms into their respective places being carful not to cause any wrinkles as he tucked the tail into his slacks, then to finish off his attire Vas reached into his closet and removed a grey cotton sweater vest from its hanger and after sliding it over his head and arms he looked into the mirror to inspect himself. "Presentable" he whispered to himself before grabbing his satchel and journal from his desk.

Day 1: Today I start here at Eltz Academy in Moselle valley, Germany. I haven't seen earth people in 3 years and...

Vas stopped writing to contemplate his word choice and after taking ten seconds or so he scratched out the word earth with a single line.

...and I hope today is a good day but for now I'm just incredibly hungry and I wonder if they have soy milk and cereal here.
retracting his pen almost in unison with the growling of his stomach he placed his journal into his satchel and exited his room locking up after himself.

Vas made his way through the hallways of the academy passing by a large crowd of people standing outside what seemed to be the office and witnessing the interaction between a striking young woman with short brown hair and what appeared to be her good friend, a younger looking irishman. Feeling the emotions of sorrow and loneliness begin to creep up on him Vas paid no further attention to the two except to take a second look at the girl, and with that done he continued on in the direction of his nose.

after taking a few wrong turns further down the hallway he witnessed another interaction between two people, a boy and and a girl with a small dog. At this point Vas was just taking in the atmosphere of the castle and people watching but his stomach made another desperate cry for food "Alright I hear you, calm yourself" he said quietly as he continued walking now holding his stomach.

Finally Vas arrived to the cafeteria where he laid his eyes immediately on the fresh fruits, muffins, teas.... but most importantly to him the cereal and milk station. He immediately rushed over and attempting to not draw attention to himself , he prepared two large bowls of cereal and proceeded to drown them in soy milk. After placing his bowls down he went back to grab him a spoon, a blend of breakfast tea and four packets of honey. It was now time to feast and after a quick blessing of gratitude that is exactly what Vas did.
It appeared as if he was enjoying a delicacy and to him, he was. "Three years without you, never again he thought to himself as spoonful by spoonful seemed to disappear.

Halfway through the second bowl Vas looked up and noticed his table wasn't unoccupied two girls that appeared to be around his age were also at this table and had begun what seemed like a conversation just a few seats away. One seemed happy and alive and the other haunted and slightly disturbed but it was none of his business and plus he still had a bowl to finish...

Danielle's smile faded as she saw Lucy struggle to keep herself in check. Danielle sat down across from her and touched her hand softly. "you okay Lucy?" she asked. "of course she's not okay" she thought to her self. When Lucy got placed into the Kalt house the head master had warned to to make sure Lucy took her pill, so she could keep herself in check. Daniele was pretty sure she did. Danielle looked in to her eyes "anything I can get you or do you need some space?" she asked kindly. Despite Danielle's nasty temper and occasional emotional break downs she had a kind caring side that very few got to see and those that did see it where those in her house.

Daniellle nodded as the girl worked out the word "Space" she grabbed a napkin and a pen and wrote her cell phone down and slid it to her. "if you need anything and I mean anything call me and I'l be there" she said as she stood up and began walking towards the door of the cafeteria. Her mind began to wander thinking about ways she could help Lucy while at the same time blaming herself for talking to her so early in the day. In her mind she should have known to give Lucy some time before talking to her this had all been explained to her when she came into the house for the first time. Lost in her thought she didn't notice Vas and walked right into him knocking her down.

"yeah I'm fine" the young woman said after checking herself for stains. "I'm really sorry I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing" Vas watched as she looked him up and down and felt a heat of embarrassment begin to come over him.
"Well I'm glad your alright, and we both managed to avoid getting anything on us." he said looking down and away showing a slight smile before he walked to grab napkins to clean up the mess on the table caused by his tea.

Vas finished wiping the table and it appeared to be cleaner than had been before he sat there even managing to clean the run off that had made its way to the girl in the beanie. "Sorry for the mess" he said softly before leaving to fill back up his mug.

Now back in his seat he took a sip of his fresh tea and reached into his satchel for his journal and opened it back to the page he had been working on early.

Day 1: Today I start here at Eltz Academy in Moselle valley, Germany. I haven't seen people in 3 years and I hope today is a good day but for now I'm just incredibly hungry and I wonder if they have soy milk and cereal here. The food was heavenly I cant believe I missed cereal so much, but i guess thats what being lost in dimension will do to you. Also the dimensional sickness seems to be fading now that I've eaten. *Side Note: This girl with died hair and lovely eyes ran into during breakfast and I believe she's still looking at me, maybe I should go talk to her, thats what Roman would want...

Closing his journal and returning it back to his satchel Vas stood up and walked over to the girl with his hand in his pockets showing how uncomfortable he was. "Um I'm a new student and I haven't been here long could you perhaps show me around, I don't mean to intrude on your morning or anything." He paused for a response before his shyness kicked into full gear and he started to back up in retreat.

He had heard her knocking but after his long night he choose to stay in bed. Not like she wouldn't come in here and wake him up anyways. He heard the key hit the lock and smiled to himself. Scarlet was his best friend and though she frustrated him but he wouldn't let anyone else talk to him they way she does. Not saying she's controlling but she is bossy. She says its for my own good. IF she says so.

She cam into the room and did her morning routine. Grumble about his room, open the curtains, and pull the blanket from his body. She then made a comment that he could not help but to reply to. "Honestly, Andrei; why a grown man can't even get himself out of bed is beyond me. You can just be so lazy at times ..." She heaved a sigh. He laughed to himself and looked up at her.

"But would I deny you chance to come into my room and gain an eyeful." He winked at her and grabbed her hand and pulled her into the bed. Her back hit the bed and then was quickly pulled up against his stomach. He held her for a moment his body against her and then let her go and gets up. "So you think the Headmaster wouldn't mind if I greeted the new students in a pair of shorts and and tank top. Not that you would complain. Come to think about I think only the headmaster might complain." He laughed out loud his Russian accent taking over a bit. He put on his uniform and smiled at her. "Presentable?"

Jeremiah Raimin

As soon as the girl walked off and her dog with her, he pulled out his book and began walking toward the cafeteria. He walked in and scanned the room seeing many students in the lines and walking about. He then saw Lucy sitting at a table alone. It checked his watch and noticed the time. She should be fine but I should check just incase. He walked into the line and grabbed a coffee and mixed it with a hot chocolate making a cheap mocha and a muffin. He then walked to Lucy's table and sat in front of her. He smiled at her and nodded. He knew that if she wanted to talk she would. He sat there quietly eating his muffin and drinking his drink.

Danielle left her. Lucy regretted getting rid of her. Now she was left to her own thoughts and it was driving her insane. She needed another pill. Raising her tea cup to her lips, she slowly sipped the tea her hands shaking. Looking across from her her little brother was smiling and waving at her. But she could see the wounds on his stomach. The damaged she had caused. The blood was pouring out and she couldn't look away. Right before her eyes her brother died again. She placed the cup down and closed her eyes tight. Willing the body to disappear. Praying her thoughts would end. Hoping the nightmare was over. When she opened her eyes the body was replaced with Jeremiah. The smile and the nod was all she needed. It was safe.

A sigh escaped her lips and she finished the rest of her tea while her friend ate his muffin. The silence was what she needed. It wasn't awkward and there was no need to speak. This is why she liked Jeremiah. He didn't push her for anything. He was the company that kept her thoughts away and saved her from herself. Just like Kian. But Kian wasn't here right now. Tapping her fingers on the table she was attempting to calm herself down so that she could speak to Jeremiah without babbling like an idiot. Would he care if she started babbling? She looked up at him and quickly made the decision to just wait before speaking.

After a few moments when she felt that she was ready she opened her mouth to ask him a question. "Did you see any new people from your house?" she asked. Of course Lucy was avoiding people from her house and everyone else that was new and didn't know how she operated. The pills were finally kicking in and her thoughts were going back to normal. Things were looking up for her right now, but it only took one screw up to mess Lucy up.

Jeremiah Raimin

Jeremiah waited for Lucy to speak. Some mornings they would just sit and eat saying nothing at all. It didn't really bother him because the school can get very loud at times and a nice slice of peace was nice every once in a while. Yet today was the day all new people came to the school. He sipped his mocha and smiled again as Lucy formed words and they fell from her mouth. He realized his drink wasn't stirred well so he spun his finger lightly over the cup as the liquid began to rotate mixing better. "Not that I have seen though I think I may have passed one but who knows. Have you talked to anyone this morning other then your tea." He smiled jokingly.
He looked around and saw Riley talking to another new student and the head girl of house Mutige. The woman made her dislike for Lucy quite obvious. He saw a few other faces none he had any good relationship with. He turned his attention back to Lucy. "Are you feeling ok this morning?"

Andrei Stepanov

Dre looked at her as she began messing with his tie. He sighed and smiled again. The bravado came back as he formulated a comment to return her statement. "You need to learn to tie a tie correctly" she said. He looked her in the eyes and spoke the first thing that came to mind. "Nah that's what I got you for right?" He was being more joking then serious but they sometimes could get confused in his accent.

She replied "I have no idea what you'll do without me after this year, but I hope you'll find some way to survive," she joked, grabbing her bag from the floor and starting for the door. "Come on, we have students to greet and help. I'll come by after classes to help you clean your room. And I'm serious when I say help. I'm not doing it on my own. You will participate," she said threateningly, stepping into the hall. Andrei followed after her locking his door behind him.

"The problem with cleaning my room is it never stays clean. So whats the point?" He walked with her towards the front of the school smiling and making comments at girls as they passed. Some charming some jokes nothing really bad. "I'll probably end up back in Russia doing stupid things for food." That was to serious for him as he realized it came out of his mouth. "Or run a crime ring or something like that." He laughed a bit and walked up to the front office.

"Not that I have seen though I think I may have passed one but who knows. Have you talked to anyone this morning other then your tea. Lucy saw his smile. He was only kidding, but she has been caught doing that many times. It was hard to explain that to people. She offered a small smirk and she pushed her tea away. "No. Danielle attempted conversation with me," she said. Lucy wasn't going into detail about that fail. Jeremiah may or may not question her about it. Or make her take another pill. She can't take more than one or Lucy will walk around like some kind of brainless zombie. At least she could make decent conversation now.

"Are you feeling ok this morning?" Lucy almost missed the question. She caught the eyes on the on person she wouldn't mind killing. Tiffany. She was a bitch and waste of air. She didn't deserve to be here or even live. She felt bad for her parents. Lucinda doesn't even know why Tiffany started hating her, but when she mention Lucy's brother she snapped. The fight had to be broken up because Lucy almost killed her. No hesitation. That was last time Lucy lost her sanity in the academy. Lucy looked back at Jeremiah and nodded slowly. "I'm doing better now. The pill is kicking in," she said nonchalantly.

She told Jeremiah about the pills when he caught her taking them. Of course she didn't tell him what exactly they were for. All he knows is that they are anxiety pills and nothing more. It was the half truth. Lucy started looking around and she saw people that she hasn't spoken too. People that she has been trying to avoid. And it was getting really crowded for her liking. Why does everyone have to eat breakfast at the same time? "Jeremiah can we take a walk?" she asked, hinting that she wanted to leave the cafeteria.

Kian could feel the buzzing nerves in the room; literally. The edges of his eyesight were tinted with a dark violet, and he could feel his palms getting a little sweaty and adrenaline kicking in. He went from standing calmly, looking composed to slightly bouncing one leg. He smiled to the girl, and many other's passing, most having at least a small purple tint. His attention was drawn back when Astrid spoke, and instantly, his hands went back to normal and he started to feel more at ease. Her confidence slightly countered the nervousness and when she started to walk, he followed, bobbing his head politely to the head master and a passing freshman.

Once arriving, however, he could tell Astrid wouldn't want to stay. Crowded places were not her happy space. His eyes found Lucy, and he could tell even from the distance she was uncomfortable. He would make sure to make plans with her for later, to calm her down.

"Sounds like a plan," he said, in regard to the coffee shop. He was more quiet than usual, his headache still pretty bad, and as they walked to Astrid's car he pulled a water bottle out of his backpack. It was filled with a clear liquid, but it wasn't water. He took two sips from it, big ones, then returned it to it's place in his backpack. He knew neither of the girls approved of his bad habits; hell, he didn't either, so he made sure not to let them smell what it was. In the car, he opened up a text to Lucy. Hey kiddo. Take it easy- Lunch? and sent it, pocketing his phone.

He wasn't necessarily upset that the coffee shop was closed, but he was pleased when they found the diner open. He grinned at Astrid, giving her a nudge before exiting the car. "Uh, fine," Kian muttered, flashbacks of his last few memories from last night hitting his head, though he didn't remember actually going to bed, for that matter.

Arriving at the diner door, he held it open for the two girls, entering after. It was seat yourself, and he chose a booth on the right. In sat on one side, the two girls taking the other. He couldn't help but grin. This was quite the perfect morning, with these two. Well, at least it seemed like it, what with his mind becoming slightly lofty and bubbly from the light buzz.

Jeremiah Raimin

Jeremiah looked her over after the comment about wanting to take a walk. He then looked around the room and saw why. Many students both new and old were gathering for breakfast in the cafeteria. He looked around looking to see if he saw anyone he knew. There was that Riley girl she was kinda sweet. Then there was a small girl off to the side in the window being talked to by Eleanor, head girl of his house, and Jimmy, nice guy I think. He looked back at Lucy and smiled "Sure let me get some more wake up juice?" He got up to go get himself some more drink on the way back he passed Riley and the other girl. He smiled and stirred his drink but running his finger along the brim of the cup. "Hello again Riley. Find everything alright?" He trned his attention to the other girl and looked her over "Pardon my rudeness. My name is Jeremiah a second year in house Ruhig and you?" He smiled and thought to himself. Am I smiling to much? Should I not be using my power? He decided it was to late to stop now.

Jeremiah got up to get some more coffee and got distracted. He was talking to two girls that she hasn't seen before. Must be freshman.. she thought to herself. She sat there patiently waiting for her friend to return and fought off thoughts that tend to pop up on their own. Her phone vibrated signaling that she got a text message. Slowly she pulled it out to see who had messaged her. It was Kian. A friend. She was hoping to see him this morning as well. But seemed to be busy and he does have a girlfriend to worry about. So she wasn't demanding his attention. Besides. Jeremiah was just something that she required in the morning. Company without all the unnecessary talking. If Kian saw her this morning she would have snapped and possibly scare him away. She wouldn't want to do that. Kian was asking about lunch.
To:Kian
From:Lucy
Sure. Lunch is fine.

After the reply she started to pocket her phone, but then she started to wonder about Robert and Kyle. She hadn't seen them either. Robert and her don't really talk much, but Kyle was her closer friend. Her phone danced in her hands as she debated on sending him a text message. She wanted to know how he was doing. But at the same time he could be busy. And then it would be a pointless text message. Also she didn't know exactly what to write. Lucy was trying to refrain from sounding dumb in the message. She was left with a decision. Lucy hated making decisions. They made her crazy and she over thought about each one and ends up losing her mind. Same thing with questions. She never knows which answer is the technical right answer. Statements are easy to respond too. Not much thinking involved. Staring down at her phone she made the decision. She wasn't going to text Kyle. Lucy pocketed her phone and looked up at Jeremiah. He was still talking to the girls. Time to bring his attention back to me.. she thought.

Slowly, she stood up and made her way over to him. She looked at the girls, making it known that she has acknowledged them. Any sign of emotion that were in her eyes have faded, leaving just the empty green. Her worries have faded and she seemed almost automaton. Lucy usually looks like this with people she isn't friends with or just met. They fit in both categories. "Hi." she said simply to the both of them. Her british accent showing through. She has yet to get rid of it. Kyle and Robert still had theirs as well. But it was cute coming from them. It was almost obnoxious coming from her. Or most girls really. But her accent was faint. She didn't make eye contact with either one of the girls and she hadn't planned too. She fiddled her fingers and looked down at the ground. Waiting for Jeremiah to finish so that she could leave the cafeteria.

Knocking on the door to the headmaster Ryan's office, Kyle heard a response.
"Enter please"
Slowing opening the tall wooden door to the room, he entered the office. The room was filled with shelves of hardcover books, and different magical items that scattered on the table. Surely that was what he was expecting a headmaster's office to be like, a room filled with knowledge and science. However, he directed his attention back to the headmaster when he said:
"Oh, Kyle it's great to see you, I was actually expecting you"
Puzzled, by what the headmaster was speaking about, Kyle asked "Sir, What do you mean by you are expecting me"
"Well, I do realize you wanted to become an official member and work at the order before you graduate, is that right? "
"Yes, sir that is correct"
"Well, for permanent spot in the order, we usually only take alumnus, however, I would need to discuss it with the other member to see what they think before actually coming to an conclusion about the offer. However, I pretty much can guarantee you that you'll mostly likely be able to work with us next year when you graduate. Right now, to be honest we are actually thinking about putting you on the team of students for a special mission, but nothing is final yet" Headmaster Ryan explained

After exiting the headmaster office, Kyle felt a sudden pain in his head, a clear site of the day that Katherine, his girlfriend had embarked on her first mission for the order. Just as he heard the words "I'll be back in a couple of weeks, wait for me" from Katherine, the image disappeared and he was simply facing the same hallway he was facing. Again the thing with katherine was that nobody knew what she was doing, which is why nobody knew what happened to her when she didn't return.

Then he realize he has some freshman orientation plans that need to be discussed with Eleanor, so he sent a text to her
"Hey, Eleanor I was just wondering how the freshman orientation plans are going, I was thinking we could give a brief introduction to what their responsibilities are"

Proceeding down the hall he received a text from his brother, Robert saying he wanted his girlfriend, Annabelle to come to the dinner. Kyle has never really had a problem with Robert dating, he just hopes that Robert doesn't get too caught up with his relationship and forget about his career. He simply tapped a message saying "Sure, I'll probably ask Lucy to come as well, we all need sometime to catch up with each other"

After that he tapped another message to Lucinda, his childhood friend, inviting her to dinner
"Hey Lucy, You think you have time to have dinner tonight with me and Robert, we really need to catch we haven't talked for the whole holiday"

It was like a flame in the the darkness, a flare of light bright enough that all the others dimmed into almost non-existence in her mind. Alice had been blocking the smaller lights but she hadn't been on guard against something like this, and it brought her senses to forefront of her mind. She drew a sharp breath as she felt the intense prickle of energy along her skin, like a weight it pressed against her, if she reached out it would pour into her and she would feel it as the pain it was.

Alice looked up from Riley and Jeremiah, and the stuck-up new girl who had just arrived, to seek out the source among the crowd. However she barely had a chance as someone collided with her chair. The two of them ended up on the floor with the chair between them.

A snarl began to form on Alice's lips in the way of a 'watch where you're going, you bloody berk!', but it died in her mouth as she looked up at person in question. It was a young guy and for a moment he appeared apologetic before an expression, as familiar to Alice as her own face, crossed his features. It was a cringe of pain; clear in the sharp intake of breath, the tightness in his hazel-brown eyes, the set of his jaw.

This was the light on her radar. With him this close she barely needed to concentrate to focus her awareness of it, without feeling it she could tell the pain was sharp and intense, and mostly occurring in his back. Without thinking Alice ignored what she usually thought to be almost an invasion of privacy and reached out with her powers to get a better sense of not just the pain but the type of injury that could be causing it. She got a vague notion of the spread of it, of open wounds, and broken skin. Her instincts nagged at her, like a pulling in the gut, to wrap her powers around that pain and injury it a draw it to herself. For all her hard exterior it went against some basic nature of her power, of perhaps some fibre of her own being, to sit and do nothing.

Accepting the injury could be messy but then she could hold the pain in stasis. Holding the injury in stasis would mean accepting the pain; it wouldn't be the worst she'd had. And then there was the matter of consent, some people got spooked or aggressive at the sudden removal of their burdens. Still, she could take some of the pain, share it between them, he might not even notice...

She didn't have a chance to really decide, had only barely begun to allow a taste of the pain to seep into her, when the guy suddenly forced out a breif "Sorry," before walking off quickly. He went to the closest wall, resting against it. Alice just stared after him in dismay, a slight sting in her back.

As she righted her chair and sat down again, she realised that even with her sympathy she'd been looking at the matter clinically. The pain, the decision to transfer, she hadn't really questioned it. How had he been injured? Guys hurt themselves all the time; playing sport, showing off, drunken accidents. Another possibility stirred in her mind. Had this been done to him? Alice's anger flared at the thought, and the desire to find and unleash her powers upon any person responsible burned bright. It was a heady rush of power knowing she could inflict the same damage she accepted.

Alice suddenly realised she was half way out of her seat. She glanced at Riley and Jeremiah, and back at the guy across the room. He was looking at her warily.

What exactly did she intend to do? Sympathy mixed with rage and the constant demanding sense of her power. At her old school she'd made a small living accepting people's injuries for petty cash. A student footy player who wanted to do something about his stuffed knee before the grand-finals, a senior with migraines during final exams... but this was different. Possibly.

Alice turned to Jeremiah, 'Uh, just hold that thought, I'll be back in a moment. Get to know my pal Riley here, or something.' Without waiting for a reply she started across the room. She was vaguely humoured by how it must look to the outside observer, she being knocked over and then determinedly stalking after the person responsible.

As she came up to him she allowed herself to survey the person before her. His hair was cut short, and he wore a dark sweater over broad shoulders and lean frame, and she imagined his face was quite stunning when he smiled; rather than when it was marred by pain and the expression he made upon seeing her approaching. He's rather nice looking, all-in-all, she thought, a thin smirk curling her lips.

"Hey," she said. "I'm Alice Ender." 'And can I transfer your injuries?' she thought about adding.
Or: 'You should really get some bandages and painkillers for that.'
'Who did that to you and can I hurt them?'
'I'm invading your privacy; wanna be friends?' 'Or more?'

Instead she just said, "Are you okay?"

Kian could tell something was up with Astrid when he put his arm around her, her body stiff and not reacting, not leaning into him as she usually did. He pulled it away a few feet away from the car, making his way to the car in silence. He mood was effecting him, and as the car ride went on his emotion seemed to drain, and he felt uncomfortable. He'd never seen the aura color coming from Astrid before, so he had no idea what it meant, but he didn't like it. When she planted a kiss on his cheek, he hardly reacted, nodding his head in goodbye and exiting the car.

His body blindly led him toward the back of the school building. Kian came here to smoke last year, and though he'd been trying to break the habit, old habits die hard. Walking slowly and silently, he pulled his water bottle out of his bag, taking a few sips, then putting it back. His feet came to a stop when he reached the spot. It was likely the headmaster as well as most if not all of the professors knew he smoked on campus, but no body seemed to care too much. Maybe it was because they didn't know how to help him.

Lighting up a cig, he took a breath, slowly releasing the puff while closing his eyes. What did he do wrong? Being farther away had taken away most of the emotion he'd gotten from being with Astrid, and he was now able to think. What'd made her feel that way? "Damn it," he muttered, punching his hand hard against the wall, then just standing there as he kept puffing. As he finished his cig, now completely recovered from Astrid's emotional surge, he felt relaxed, from the combination of alcohol and nicotine in his body. He made his way back to his room, changing his clothes into a different uniform, applying cologne and brushing his teeth. He then made his way to the cafeteria.

His eyes found Lucy immediately, and after making a quick eye contact with her, he made her way towards her. He had said they were going to get lunch, but he assumed he wouldn't freak her out.

Quinn's eyes shut for a few seconds, taking a deep breathe to drive away the screaming pain, then opened his eyes again. They were planted on the chair, the now empty chair. Where had the girl gone? His eyes searched the room, sweeping left and right in shock, until they fell back upon her, now making her way toward him. As she arrived next to him, he saw her look him over, taking in his appearance, and he did the same. He cleared his face of the pained expression, and pushed on a bit of a smirk. Why had this girl taken in interest in the stranger who bumped into her chair?

He nodded slowly, taking in her concerned expression. Why was she so concerned? His eyes searched hers for some type of hint, but finding nothing. "I'm Quinn, and I'm fine," he said, but as he said this he could still feel the stinging pain of each mark. He'd have to change soon, or the wet marks on his back would become evident.

Tiffany let out a sigh as she stared at her notebook. No ideas were coming to her. It was so hard to find a decent prank that won't get her in trouble or killed. This is why she needed Astrid. She was good at coming up with things like that. She could pull a prank on Lucy, Her reaction in the end was always hilarious. But people liked her too much. They would be all over Tiffany. It was a huge mess that she didn't want to deal with at this current time. Annabelle was also fun to prank, but Astrid had a strict no-no on that one as well. Which didn't leave very many choices. When Astrid shows up she could as her.

"What are you planning, Tiff?" Speak of the devil Tiffany thought. She looked up at her friend. There was a devious smirk on her chest that made her very happy. It meant that Astrid was ready to plan a prank. "Nothing! I can't think of anyone decent to prank," Tiffany said shutting the notebook. They have practically pranked everyone and done every prank known to man. Coming up with a new one was going to be hard. Astrid took a spot near the windowsill just as Tiffany has done.

Then a thought came to her head. Freshman. It was always easy to prank the freshman. And they could do small simple things that won't cause too much damage. "Tiff, if you had the choice between someone you really like and someone you have sex with, who would you choose?" Tiffany raised and eyebrow up at Astrid. Where the hell did that question come from? she thought to herself. They didn't really have conversations like this, but Tiffany did have an answer. "Someone I like. The sex would be ten times better." she replied opening the trick not book back up. Now she had an idea of who she wanted to prank.

Some kid came over and gave Astrid a drink and it made her laugh. Astrid practically had the entire school wrapped around her tiny little finger. Except for Tiffany. They always had this mini battle of popularity. Neither of them will follow each other around like little lap dogs. But when they are together, they are force that shouldn't be reckoned with. "So, what's the plan, mi amiga?" her friend asked of her. "We prank all the new freshman. They won't see it coming and it is a great welcoming gift" she said with a smile. "I just don't know what the prank should be."

Jeremiah's attention was still on the other girls. Lucy wasn't jealous, she just wanted to get out of the cafeteria. Of course not being rude, she was going to let Jeremiah talk to the girls as long as he wants. It was a trait that Lucy wish she didn't have. If she was a rude bitch like most everyone already thinks she is, then Jeremiah and her would have already left the cafeteria. A sigh escaped her lips and she looked down at the ground as they spoke. Just then a guy crashed into one of the girls. It was Quinn. Head of her house. They didn't talk much, but it isn't like they would want to talk to each other. They could barely talk to other people. But now there was one girl left that needed to be gone. Just then her phone vibrated. It was from Kyle. Which is strange since Lucy was just thinking about him.

He was inviting her to dinner with him and his brother, Robert. And where Robert goes, Annabelle follows. So it was a dinner of four. Two people, Lucy cared about and one that Lucy won't even give a second thought too. Nothing could possibly go wrong. Except for everything. She sighed and send a reply back. She wasn't going to reject them. They were the closet thing to a 'family' that she could get. She was going to go to this dinner.

To:Kyle
From:Lucy
Dinner sounds good

The message sent and she pocketed the phone. Her entire day was booked up. Breakfast with Jeremiah. Lunch with Kian. Dinner with Kyle and Robert. Today she was miss popular. Wonder what Tiffany would have to day about that. she thought. She turned her head to look at Tiffany and saw that she was talking to Astrid. Her only friend. They were always plotting something. Many time Tiffany has tried pranking her, but it has ended badly for her. And now Lucy knows what their pranks look like. Turning her head back to Jeremiah she saw that he wasn't moving from his spot. And this other girl was going to continue talking to him. Just then she made eye contact with her other friend. Kian. Finally someone was coming to save her.

She stepped away from Jeremiah and started walking toward him. He was moving toward her as well and they eventually met in the middle. The automaton facade that she put up for the girls had gone away. Her bright green eyes had a bit of happiness and relief filled in it. Her thoughts were coming back in a random fashion and she didn't know how to handle her thoughts moving that fast. But she didn't let that show. She gave her friend a small smile. "Hey" she said simply. "We weren't supposed to meet until lunch," she joked.

"Hi."

Riley turned her head and looked at the girl who just approached their table. Her 'hi' was more of an uncertain one kind of uncomfortable if you look at her facial features. Though could be just a cover up but Riley doubted it. Most people weren't like that. Oh well she hoped most people weren't like that. "Hey, I'm Riley but you can call me Riles. What's your name." It couldn't get any former than that. Riley even added in her breath taking smile which she prayed eased the tension at the table. The sound of a crash annd a grunt pulled her attention from the girl to the two people residing on the floor.Riley squinted trying to figure out who cashed into Alice. Someone she hasn't seen before. Which is a lot of people since Riley is an incoming Freshman.

Next thing you know he pops up mutters a sorry ad gone he is. "Um okay..? That was something. Are you okay Alice? Riley said concern plastered on her face as she watched her friend right her chair again. They are friend's right? Well Riley thought so so for henceforth Alice is her first Eltz Academy friend. Hooray. Riley moved Caramel off her lap not feeling her thigh anymore. 'Uh, just hold that thought, I'll be back in a moment. Get to know my pal Riley here, or something.' Riley rolled her eyes playful at the word pal. Such an old word. Alice get u and goes back over to the boy who knocked them both down.

Riley turned to Jeremiah and the Newcomer. "Hey do you guys know who that guy was?" Riley asked voicing her thoughts. It's not like she was going to hunt him down or anything but it's nice to know as many names as you can so things don't get awkward. That would be bad if you bumped into someone you saw everyday but never knew their name. Embarrassing. The Newcomer looks at her phone and off she goes. Riley pouted a little. She never got her name. She shrugged it off and gave her full attention t Jeremiah. There was a light pink tint to her cheeks and she breath out. "Well, i had plans to go into town with Alice but she's gone so do you want to go with me?" Riley asked.

A smile fit to Kian's mouth when him and Lucy made eye contact, and his walk sped up slightly as she met him halfway. He saw relief fill her eyes, and though he wanted to hug her, he didn't. Lucy didn't like a lot of the things he did, but that what made them such good friends. He chuckled lightly at her comment, tilting his head towards the door to signal her to start towards it.

"I guess I missed you, kiddo," he said, slipping his hands into his pocket and smiling as he used one the many nicknames he rotated on Lucy. He continued to walk at a steady pace, not really sure where he was taking her. They ddi that often, just roamed and hung out, because the two could go hours with nothing on mind and both have a good time. Kian mentally gave himself a slap across the face when they took a turn in the hallway, everything going blurry for a second. Lucy didn't like alcohol, and he knew that, and she didn't like cigs either, and he hated the fact that he did it.

But now, having just drunken and smoked, he felt especially bad about it. People, unless they were close to him, could never tell he did either. He was always so happy, so friendly, and people associated smoking and drinking with bad people, so it was always a shock when someone realized he had an issue. Then again, most people didn't realize it. Take Lucy, as far as Kian knew, she had no idea about his struggle with both addicting substances.

Kian came to a pause as he realized they were at his room. To someone else, this might look strange, a boy taking a girl to his dorm, but Lucy knew Kian wasn't trying to get with her. They often hung out in his room, since he had an impressive coffee machine, music collection, and book shelf. One time they'd sat in their for the majority of a weekend, ripping through a few books and a few too many pounds of coffee beans, and it was awesome. "It's kind of a mess," Kian muttered, nodding for Lucy to enter and turning on the coffee machine. He put out his arms and Max, his cat, leaped into them, leaning into him and instantly purring. He turned and looked at Lucy.

"How've you been?"

Quinn could see in the girls eyes that she was thinking, though about what, he couldn't tell. There was a certain glint to her eyes that told Quinn she was used to getting what she wanted, used to working things out no matter what it took. And it kind of scared him. He watched her, and when she spoke, his face stayed blank, however a single vein in his neck pulsed. His eyes slowly lifted from the ground to her eyes, looking to see her expression, but it didn't help with his confusion.

How did she know about his pain? And how much did she know? Did she know how he got it? How much it hurt? How his body was marred with traces of past injuries much worse? Without thinking, he grabbed her hand, pulling her quickly out to the hall with him, and around a corner to an empty dead end. He didn't say anything, pushing her softly against the wall in front of him, and putting an arm next to her head, hand against the wall, his face less than a foot away from hers as he looked her dead in the eye. "What do you know, and more importantly, what do you want?" He said, his voice it's usual emotionless, cold self.
