Introduction

Image

The world as humanity knew it was of war, rape, murder, pestilence and disease. A series of devastating maladies compounded; the human genome had begun to break down from the last critical epidemic of 2525 . After millennia of mutations and genetic disorders--the human DNA sequence, the code for all human life was irrevocably damaged. In a last ditch effort to stall for time for a cure, humans turned to gene therapy and gene splicing.

This futile attempt only stalled the progression of the breakdown. The cure for the disease came five years later, however nearly half of the entire world's population perished. With the break down on a cellular level, people began the long, agonizing decent into death looking dead; deathly white skin, unless the corrosion struck the liver then a noticeable jaundice onset. Dark circles that looked more like black eyes and contusions. Hemtomas would 'sprout' over the body, painful protrusions as the accelerated breakdown flared cancer cells into over producing even more.

A breakthrough cure came in 2531 under the code name "Icarus" A new synthetic drug that manipulated the chromosomes and secured human prevalence once again. At first, the drug worked wonders. It cured every natural disease man had faced up to that point. But like the man that flew with wax wings and got to the sun--everything went terribly wrong.

Seven years. Seven long, painful years and the world would change forever. the drug that humankind sough to liberate themselves from a disease that--biologically had sundered them, was now the choice weapon of their downfall. Utilizing "dead" strains of some of the more viral plagues that were tearing human civilization apart and combining them to ward off the effects of active live strains yielded surprising effects. The live strains broke down chromosomes, the chemical make-up of any given human being. With an endless array of outcomes; sterilization, rapid onset of leprosy, blindness, deafness, anorexia, and the ever increasing chance of having the all--the diseases became known as Azrael Syndrome. Because of the human depiction of the Angel of Death as a hooded skeletal figure--patients exhibiting this contagious plague often looked appeared dead long before their suffering engulfed them.

Image

Entire colonies were set up to shelter them, burn the bodies when they died--sometimes in the masses--and experiment on to find a way to combat this Syndrome. Icarus combated this infection by consistently mutating the chromosomes on a regular basis so it could not be destroyed via blood. Once entered into the blood stream, it changed the nature of AS and did not full on combat it. Within years strange side effects of the Icarus became apparent. Within the seven year progression strange, brutal attacks began occurring where victims were torn apart--and eaten. It wasn't until the world saw what was happening to the population that had been immunized from AS did it stand still in absolute horror.

The constant adaptation to the disease left what remained of the populations scattered across the world mutated or unfazed. Half the remains world's population experienced one of two mutations. One mutation was that subjects had a massive increase in muscle density and a could contract muscle tissue far more than a human ever could. The comparable strength was twice that of an adult silver back gorilla. Capable of flipping, even lifting sedan sized vehicles, ripping steel doors off their frames and even breaking steel reinforced cables. They also exhibited a highly dense hide, very resistant to bullets and shrapnel. These had a a decrease in mental functioning, with warmongering as a strong mental urge. The need to fight is very prevalent in these mutations. Their skin is a dull grey, they are highly muscular, and their eyes are like polished obsidian and hair a stark white. This are nicknamed "Oroc"

The second and completely differing mutation is a more agile, slimmer and highly intelligent being. They had a massive increase in brain activity. They have made quite a few advancements in technology, including but not limited to human-cybernetic attachments capable of combating Oroc. However, as agile and intelligent as they are, they seem to be quite frail. Having hollow bones that allow them swift movement, this is counter-productive as they cannot withstand even the abuse of a normal human would be capable of. These are called the Silvian.

Image

The landscape of the world has changed much during the times of the plagues. The continents have since shifted and rejoined to make a super-continent now called "Toril". Less in scale to Pangaea millions of years ago, it still combines most of Europe, North and South America, and Africa as well as the core of Russia. The earthenβ„’s surface is ruled by the Oroc, the skies by the Amaranth and the subterranean by humanity. Humankind has found ways to combat the Oroc, albeit, not everyone applies. Human and Amaranth technologies have culminated in high strength, high performance robotic prosthesis. An expensive and painful procedure, usually only dedicated soldiers have been voted to endure at their request.

The Oroc have overrun the surface. Their cannibalistic and volatile natures make them a threat at all times. However, due to their incredibly durable skin as well as their redundant organ systems, they are incredibly hard to kill. On noted occasions of one Berserker Oroc took out two squads, fourteen men in total by itself while sustaining multiple gunshot wounds. Their bones and skin are incredulously dense, acting like a biological "bulletproof vest". Even shots to the head, unless by a heavy caliber tipped with depleted uranium cores have stopped these beasts. The Kommandos, technologically enhanced soldiers with grafted augments have been noted to be capable of one fights with the Oroc and survived.

The Amaranth seem to want nothing to do with the surface dwellers, hiding in floating citadels with their machines, high above the cloud cover. However, on occasion, they will trade with the humans. The Oroc having a keen taste for Amaranth flesh. The only connection with them is via hologram. However, something has changed the Oroc's behavior recently; decisive and seemingly tactful maneuvers--things that the typical Oroc or its hierarchy hadn't displayed before has become a new threat to humanity and the Amaranth.

Image

A "Duke" that goes by Cain has developed a highly receptive sense of reasoning. He was a capable of taking the rule over the Oroc hierarchical society and maintains his intelligence. However this does not mean he can be simply persuaded. He has recently taken down an Amaranth citadel, a near impossible feat beforehand and forced the city's leader to ransom its people or his daughter. The city voted unanimously to give Cain their city's leader's daughter. Cain plans on making a principality with his new bride...a concept that invokes disgust and terror for all...

Cain is an ambitious, impatient but strong-willed character. He is tough, endurable but no invincible no matter his accolades. While it might seem inconceivable at times that he can be killed--it will merely prove to be down to the actions of a few to save the lives of thousands or down to one--who, put before her people to wed Cain--must decide rather she will help in killing him or come to understand and even love him. The choice is up to you.

NPC's

The Oroc

    Regular
    Image

    The Regulars are the basic "grunt" of the Oroc, they are the De-evolved--evolution to human beings, but aren't quite Beserkers and definitely not Titans. They make up the backbone of the Oroc party and roam through out the Lost Cities freely on the top soil above the humans. They are three times the size of your typical human, even with the growth hormone introduced to the human genome. Their skin is the same grayish subterranean mute color as well. However, unlike your typical Drone, Regulars are laden with protrusive pustules that a are porous and form a kind chitinous exoskeletal-armor. These are actually callouses that have formed an almost rock hard layer of hardened skin. These form over a course of several days and is not instantaneous. These have been known to be so hard, that they can literally with stand fifty caliber sniper rounds traveling at 852 meters a second. Even head shots, if the growth covers their head. This is not without incident however, the growths once attached to the muscle mass contracts slightly making it moderately harder for them to move.

  • Height 8'0-9'5 feet
  • Weight 325lbs-435lbs
  • Build Durable
  • Evolved State First Stage
  • Typical Weaponry Swords, clubs, can and will pick up guns from dead humans; scavenger.

    Berserker:Image When compared to one of these nightmares, Regulars are a walk in the park. Like the Regulars, they have a highly adaptive skin. They are black, usually armored--war painted and set loose. They are too dangerous to fight alone especially when frenzied. They smell Silvians like sharks smell blood so they will home in Amaranth's and Silvians. They stand 13 feet tall, can rip street lights out of concrete embedded emplacements and lift small cars. They can be provoked very easily and once frenzied they don't care what's in their way they will kill it or die trying. They can only be used but once per squad because their frenzy once started--can not be stopped until they die either by their own kinds hands or their enemies. Do not let their size fool you, they can rampage; running at 35 m.p.h

  • Height 13ft
  • Weight 3,000-4,000
  • Build Heavy
  • Evolved State Second Stage
  • Weapons
Bare hands, street posts, telephone poles, light cars.[/list]

    Titan:Image Titans are thankfully uncommon, but they do exist in numbers. They, like Beserkers share a mutative gene as they were once Regulars. But surviving so many battles, they progressively have gotten more enormous. Call it natural selection at its worst. They are 25 feet tall, and cause the most havoc when they are heavily clad in armor scavenged from the buildings of the lost cities. They wield weapons of large, cumbersome designs; clubs, swords, hammers--typically things that can cause tremendous crushing damage. While not dangerous for one person, the only single being that's taken one these out himself was Cain, that's why he's called Hathell, "Bane". Because he's dangerous to own selective breed as he is to the humans and Silvians

  • Height 25 ft
  • Weight 14 tonnes
  • Build Ultra
  • Evolved State Third Stage
  • Weapons Bare hands, street posts, telephone poles, heavy vehicles, Swords, Hammers, Clubs.

* This is a very detailed role-play, you have been warned.

1. I will accept only dedicated players. It's too much a pain in the ass to continue a story with players who become integral kip out. It ruins it for those who remain.

2. Post regularly. This does not mean necessarily that you have to post everyday, that would be great but its impractical. Every other day is fine. I understand life catching up with you--I myself have a lot of medical problems health-wise that pop up.

3.No god modding. This means no invulnerable characters, no characters with ever power under the sun, no characters, and no characters with no weaknesses that can be exploited. However, this too means no character can somehow magically get the profound knowledge to try and aim for a noted weakness. It must be learned.

4. Also, no taking control of other characters. Thia falls in line up with rule 3. This can be as pivotal as a combat maneuver to as trivial as moving a character around outside of a fight. I forbid anyone killing of characters that aren't yours unless given express acknowledgement from myself and/or the character's creator. Every action should be taken as an action that has a possibility of failure. I.e "would", "could", etc.

5. Enjoy yourselves. If you have an idea, don't be afraid to take it up with me. I may have a distinct notion of where I want this story to go but you are the actors, you each hold it in and of yourselves to make a difference in this world.

6. I am not a grammar Nazi or anything, but I do expect literate people who join to spell correctly and in the third person perspective (I.e He, she,they, etc). I also expect a two paragraph minimum approach. 3-5 sentences is what I have been taught to think of as a paragraph.

7. There is only one Oroc that can be played that is Cain. The rest have common awareness and sentience but they are hive-minded and follow his will even when he is not present.

Humans

  • Strengths

  • Humans are the most adaptive of all the races. Easily able to withstand heavy punishment from foe or natural disaster alike. Stronger than the common Amaranth but weaker than even the average Oroc, the Human's rely not solely on their physical strength but their wit and an abundance of technological augmentations. They are smarter than the Oroc, but do not have the sheer mental capacity that the Amaranth yield. Their level of technology is mediocre.

  • Location:

  • Underground

    Image

  • Weaknesses

  • Humans are adaptive, but there is a price to this adaptation mechanism. It has been proven--time and again-- that adaptation comes with the price of near genocide. The human body adapts over the course of time; skin becomes calloused, bones more dense. However many do not survive in this process of elimination. Only the most "fit" genes have shown to be sturdy enough to with stand time, disease and bear the hallmarks of a true soldier.

  • Abilities

  • There are no natural occurring abilities the humans wield. That said, there are technologically adaptive forms the humans may come to endure. These augmentations, a very painful procedure by nature bring into light a new breed of human. A cybernetically enhanced being. Though only in "crude" stages of development, even early the augments have enhanced eye sight, hearing, movement, strength and the ability to access computers; have employed mission parameters and even allowed the operator to talk with commanders without use of a headset.

  • Augmentations

  • Augments or "Augs" are a virtual technological rebound. Humans deficient in some areas, such as strength, speed or even ability--can be modified and outfitted with an appropriate augmentation making them sufficient or even surpass expectations. The downside to these augmentations, are their relatively short life spans due to having to be recharged after prolonged use. Higher more advanced functions have a higher intake of battery life. They are sustained on an internal "battery" that runs off the human electric system a resource called "Bioenergy". Only 3 to start with. See below for list.{Will set up Unit Types Later or you can PM me.}

  • ::Elite Unit:: Kommando

  • The Kommando has endured what no other human--no other being has: the loss of a body part, or several. It is a unique if not morbid right of passage. That is not all there is to it, however. A Kommando has to have years of combative experience under his belt. He has to be able to keep calm under extreme duress. A Kommanmdo doesn't rely heavily on his augmentations despite how modified he may be.
    Image

    • ::Elite Unit:: "Leviathan" Battle Mech (Only useable by Kommandos with Neuro-interface or hacking subsystems)
    Image

    1. Caliber; Dual mounted 3 inch (76.2 mm) assault gun.
    2. Neuro-interface; Maintains a constant synapses relay with the brain's neurons, or if hacked is remotely controlled. However, if heavily damaged with either, can result in severe damage and even death of the pilot.
    3. Heat-sink kukri; a long oblong shaped knife that implements a friction heating system that when active, allows the blade to heat up to two-thousand degrees.

    Silvian

    In the world of ElvenBane, the Silvian mingle freely with the remnants of the human population. Always welcome, yet never at home there. They are well known for their technology, the foremost advanced race of the three breeds of human kind. They are also well renowned for their poetry, dance, song, lore and magical craft. The Silvian favor natural and simple beauty over the simulated. When danger threatens their citadel homes in the skies, however, the Silvian reveal a more martial side, demonstrating skill with the sword, bow, and battle strategy.

    ::Physical Description::

    Image

    Silvian are shorter and slim, standing about four-and-a-half to five-and-a-half feet tall and typically weighing eighty-five to one-hundred thirty-five pounds, with elven men the same height as and only marginally heavier than eleven women. They are graceful but frail. They tend to be pale skinned and blonde-haired, with deep green eyes, Silvian have no facial or body hair. They prefer simple, comfortable clothing, especially in pastel blues and greens and the enjoy simple yet elegant jewelry. Silvian possess unearthly grace and fine features. Many human members and other races find them hauntingly beautiful. An average Silvian achieves adulthood at around 110 years of age and can live to be over 1000 years old.

    ::Amaranth::

    Image

    Amaranth are half-Silvian half-human. They live much shorter lives than an ordinary Silvian but significantly longer than humans. The males are modestly taller, peaking at 6'0 feet in height and a meager 180lbs, comparatively heavier than full-bloods but not as heavy as a human male with a growth hormone. They have very fair skin, some say as pale as a full-blood, but their trade-off is their dark hair. Usually raven black, with the slightest hint of blue when light reflects off of it although it can be auburn in much the same way. They like the Silvians, are very hauntingly beautiful.

    ::Weapon::Hunter's Bow

    Image

    The Hunter's bow fires three select arrowheads; a Depleted-Uranium armor-piercing warhead, a white-phosphorus flare round that burns at two-thousand degrees Fahrenheit and a smart-delay explosive grenade arrow. The Hunters bow can 'lodge' its arrows but must work up sufficient tension to blast the bolt forwards with adequate force. If not lodged, the arrows will 'bounce' or ricochet haplessly.

    ::Elite Unit:: Hunter& Stalker::

    Image

    The Hunter moves along the ground like a ghost of the past, blending in like a picture half hung on a wall that no one really paid attention to. They creep into position like a panther prowling in the trees; always cautious of their surroundings. They carry their bow, which they have spent their lives honing their skills. These are also called "Stalkers" because they can follow their prey for days, weeks and the most dedicated have even followed them for months at a time. What makes them so effective is they learn the patterns and behaviors of their enemies; where they sleep, where they eat, where they drink. Stalkers are capable of getting within a few yards of their prey before striking and vanishing back in the ruined landscape.

    Hunters and Stalkers have the ability of Beast Speech from their exposure to the world below and around their homes in the Citadels. These cane be Hybrid creatures like Tigers, lions, Cougars, Lyinxes, Cheetahs, Panthers, Jaguars and Leopards or any mixture there of. It can be fiercely loyal steeds or even ferocious Dragons.

    ::Silvian Lands::

    Image

    Silvian's, like Humans once roamed the Earth's vast wilderness. But when the Urgosh got a taste of blood and frenzied, they were hunted to near extinction. The fortresses crumbled, and their sanctuary's fell silent. Crumpled bodies, mostly of Silvian; men, women, children butchered and eaten sometimes, alive. Bones picked clean now swamp the once ruined the very Gothic inspired cathedrals. Now, the Silvian's exist in the clouds. In floating "Citadels", they exit in paradise; lush greenery, gilded halls and beautifully crafted wood doors and blown stained glass that glimmers with the dawn's grace as they are the first to see it's glory. The fiery glow of the sun are what power and keep these fortresses aloft. Each is held up by a sizable crystalline core that is along the elongated lower half of the saucer-shaped platform on which their cities dwell.

    ::Elite Unit:: Dragons::

    1. Gold Dragon::Image On hatching, a gold dragon’s scales are dark yellow with golden metallic flecks.The flecks get larger as the dragon matures until, at the adult stage, the scales are completely golden. Gold dragons’ faces are bewhiskered and sagacious; as they age, their pupils fade until the eyes resemble pools of molten gold.
    2. Silver Dragon:: Image(aka "shield dragons") are the second most powerful of the metallic dragons, and are true friends to all. The silver dragon enjoys the company of humans and elves so much that it will often take the form of a human or elf and live among them for the majority of its life. It should be noted that silvers, like all dragons, believe themselves the most superior creatures in the world. However, apart from the ability to fly, which they enjoy greatly, they tend to prefer the physical forms of humanoids for everyday life.
      ---------------------------------------------------
      Neutral

    3. Red Dragon:: Image The small scales of a wyrmling red dragon are a bright glossy scarlet, making the dragon easily spotted by predators and hunters, so it stays underground and does not venture outside until it is more able to take care of itself. Toward the end of young age, the scales turn a deeper red, and the glossy texture is replaced by a smooth, dull finish. As the dragon grows older, the scales become large, thick, and as strong as metal. The neck frill and wings are an ash blue or purple-gray toward the edges, becoming darker with age. The pupils of a red dragon fade as it ages; the oldest red dragons have eyes that resemble molten lava orbs.
    4. Blue Dragon:: Image A blue dragon’s scales vary in color from an iridescent azure to a deep indigo, polished to a glossy finish by blowing desert sands. The size of its scales increases little as the dragon ages, although they do become thicker and harder. Its hide tends to hum and crackle faintly with built-up static electricity. These effects intensify when the dragon is angry or about to attack, giving off an odor of ozone and sand. Their vibrant color makes blue dragons easy to spot in barren desert surroundings. However, they often burrow into the sand so only part of their heads are exposed.

      Blue dragons love to soar in the hot desert air, usually flying in the daytime when temperatures are highest. Some nearly match the color of the desert sky and use this coloration to their advantage.

      Blue dragons lair in vast underground caverns, where they also store their treasure. Although they collect anything that looks valuable, they are most fond of gemsβ€”especially sapphires.

    Ivan watched the Silivan as she simply remaimed sitting. He was secretly wishing that she would just get up and leave, but it was apparent that she was not going as she soon fell asleep. Ivan sighed under his helmet as he noticed her drift off. He would have to get her to leve eventually, but he sill did not want to hastle with it now. There was still plenty of time untill extraction, perhaps when she woke up she would leave on her own and he would not have to bother with her.

    Confident in his wishfull thinking, he tilted his head down to let himself rest. He would not fe faaling asleep, not after what had just happened, but he would relax a little. He had learned over his many missions how to get res but stay slightly awake at the same time. This had been especially necessary durring missions that required him to stay in one position for a long tim, laying in wait for his targets.

    Ivan sat there under the over hang. Listining to the constant patter of the rain, while still keeping a keen ear out for any suspisious sounds. He would not let another Oroc group sneak up on him. After all he had heard somewhere that Orocs could smell Silvian blood and he wasn't about to take any cances while in the company of one.

    #, as written by Seraph
    Cain

    Cain sat in the darkness; glimmering light filtered through the broken ceiling poured down around him flooding the ruined infrastructure of a one time noted technology center. His eyes perceived miles away; voices flooding each of hi thoughts, bombarding him with a great many needs and desires. He ambled along slowly, listening to the rustling of feet sifting through ash and dirt. The Oroc weren't seen, simply felt and heard.

    Groans and grunts like those of an ape. His people were simple minded and easily swayed especially if they were angered. They had no concepts of wars dragging on for centuries--their minds were limited. While they had plenty of Orocs to fight with--that was not the problem--the problem was they could not cannibalize for for ever nor could they eat the remaining humans and Silvians they'd starve to death in a matter of weeks.

    Cain wandered down the ruined city street, deep in the heartland of Oroc lands. A vast city where it all began, where the cure was made--where time stopped. There were several notable skyscrapers, including Page Industries the seat of the vaccination for the Azrael Syndrome. He turned towards the looming building. Once a facade of greed and power and the edge of technological growth--was now just a shell, a husk.

    Cain entered the lobby; immediately he saw the lavishness of the enterprise empire. A large, still rotating steel sphere that had the continents of the world's governing powers with large letters spelling out Page Industries. The floor was polished granite, now was covered with a thick layer of dust. He ventured past the secretary's desk of red oak, and into the the elevator. Cain pressed the furthest floor and the elevator lurched before it groaned and began traveling upwards.

    Turning around, the lights flickered with a dying light as the steel box lifted him up the nearly one-hundred sixty stories. The bell sounded and the heavy doors opened to a spectacular sight. Well over six-hundred meters in height, Cain stepped out into the main VIP office and stepped past the over turned desks to the large stone seat labeled 'Throne of the World'. He looked it up and down before stepping slowly up to it, turning and setting down, looking out over the ruined world before him.

    Adam

    Adam dropped ten feet down, pulled back the lever on his rifle revving the chainsaw; darting across the land scape, he ran towards an injured Oroc. It had its arm its free hand and searching around for its driven instincts to kill--clubbing human soldier's as they ran by. Its body already coagulating its blood into a thick syrup near the site of the beserker's injury. Such was the incredible healing factor of the Orocs, that even when dismembered their bodies reacted by heavily clotting and rejuvenating the area with their adrenal glands. Their adrenal system was much more than a human's was--they were walking triage centers.

    He drove the the saw teeth into its stomach. The thick, calloused skin was stubborn, but with a disgruntled shout from Adam to affirm his fervor. The Oroc growled, gripping the rifle and Adam's mechanical wrists. The sound of the many machined parts in his muscular-skeletal systems whirring as they fought against pure muscle. Adam gritted his teeth as both he and his rifle were pulled away from the Oroc. Adam suddenly found himself forced back.

    Adam was thrown to the side his rifle knocked away from his hands and tossed even further into the rubble. The Oroc didn't immediately engage him, instead it was more interested in its lacerated stomach. Its intestines had been shredded. It then turned towards him as he picked himself up, lumbered towards him as he coughed and spat. It grabbed Adam by the arm and shoulder and catapulted him through the air and through a standing house support beam.

    Anez awoke with rain rushing down on her, her energy not a hundred percent back, but honestly it never was. She moved her hair back away from her face, letting it stick to her skull. She was drenched, more than drenched, she looked as though she had just took a dive in a lake not but ten seconds ago. She looked around and saw the man that saved her, he was on the other side of the roof and asleep soundly under his cloak staying dry.

    "Lucky bastard," Anez whispered to himself as she began to shiver from the cold. Ever since she had started becoming friends with Adam she did develop his speech a little. She stood up, wrapping her arms around herself in an attempt to stay warm. She began to descend the stairs, looking back at the guy one last time. "Thanks again," she said loud enough so that if he was awake enough to hear he would, but quiet enough so it was a shout. She then walked down into the ruined building, but she soon discovered that apparently on their way up the Orocs had destroyed most of the stairs, making it more than dangerous to leave. She sighed and sat down on one of the stairs, huddling with herself and just staring at caved in stairs. She would've thought of climbing down on the outside only she knew that shivering as much as she was it would only lead to her falling and dieing.

    "Damn it," she cursed in her head, she remembered that Adam had insisted that she should get a mic, but she refused knowing it would only lead to trouble, but of course now she slightly wished she had one. "I'm never going to fucking hear the end of this".

    Re: [OOC] The Years After

    I would like to apologize, Ive been dealing with a lot of mental health problems lately.

    Re: [OOC] The Years After

    Well, my first post is up. Hope it's okay...

    Re: [OOC] The Years After

    TWiliXDragon, you could try what I did, and just be wandering around somewhere, then get into interaction with another character.

    Usually works.

    Re: [OOC] The Years After

    Um...not sure what to write as an intro post. Little help?

    Re: [OOC] The Years After

    Heads up that I might have some trouble posting from next Wednesday to Sunday. Going on a trip and I don't know the state of the internet I will have. I'll be sure to try an wrap up any major char interaction going on before that time and go into a soft hibernation mode, so I don't hold up the RP. If I somehow end up holding it up though, feel free to control my char to get them out of the immediate action. Just do you best if it comes to that, I'm fine with it.

    Re: [OOC] The Years After

    I'd just like to say that Seraph is an incredible writer. Your work is very creative, descriptive, and detailed and shows a high level of literacy.

    Re: [OOC] The Years After

    Yo, question. Is age on char sheet meant to be the age at the beginning, or the age at the war of cries? Also, whats the general plan as far as the flow goes? Gonna be like a time skip after some intro posts?

    Re: [OOC] The Years After

    Since this war will progress over a period of time, All augments of non-essential characters will be base level and can be upgraded at intervals. This involves the growth of Dragons and the unlocking of technology for humans. Below is the predecessor to the Leviathan-- The Basilisk. This is to prevent simply over-powering characters too early in the RP

    The Princess has, after much been deliberation been awarded to Tesla Herot.

    Basic Mech Unit

    At the start of the war there is only the Basilisk war droid, known in Mando'a as the Bes'uliik or "iron beast", an intelligent battle droid.

    Length
    10 meters
    Height
    5 meters
      Armament
    • Laser cannons
    • Pulse-wave cannons
    • Shatter missile launchers
    • Shockwave generating rods
    • Brawling claws

    (some variations omitted the heavier weaponry in favor of performance)

    The pilot could secure his personal weapons to the droid

    Re: [OOC] The Years After

    This sounds like an excellent well thought out RP and I'm seriously thinking of joining. I would like to know if your still wanting people to join, either way I'll make a character, and go from there. Hope to hear back soon.

    Re: [OOC] The Years After

    Was wondering if there was a distinct plan for the plotline of the human soldiers? If not I had the idea that they could make up a small squad that would have orders to assassinate Cain. Make sure he doesn't unite the Orocs against the humans. After seeing him bring an Amaranth citadel, the leaders of the humans would likely be quite afraid of him.

    I had planned on making a cybernetic-heavy assassin/solder that was "designed" to take out HVT's for the humans. That is what initially spawned the idea. Does it sound like it has any merit?

    But other than that, looks cool enough. Not joining, but looks cool enough.

    I haven't been able to get in touch with Average, unfortunately. She has yet to fill me in full so my return to the RP you and I are in.

    digress; for the "Character sheet set-up, the frivolity of claiming something as the 'skeleton' of basic character information is trivial. It's not like I stole her idea, simply put, I took out what I didn't need and kept what I did as far as what I needed to know about the character in-depth. Although I may have to add minor corrections. It was never my intention to rob her of something she created. I love ya'll and I do not seek to compete. I've used very similar format in the past even before I met Average.

    Re: [OOC] The Years After

    Okay, I am just now getting to this because A I have health problems and B. I am very involved with my church, learning their new sound system.

    A lot of the human characters have melee weaponry--which is fine for the most part but you all have to understand something. The adaptive skin is one of their biggest weapons. If not killed completely, it creates callouses that turned their skin to an almost stone like state. I need to emphasize that their strength, although while great, depending of course which type of Oroc. No one can single take down scores of the enemy, nor defeat a Beserker or Titan without help. We all should remember these once-human beings nearly exterminated both human and Silvian populations. Humans have fire arms for a reason--to keep out of reach of these cannibals way.

    Airanea, would you like to be the "princess" of the story? If so, PM me for the details.

    Re: [OOC] The Years After

    Are you accepting more Characters?
