Mornalee of Spindewas, age 20, is Dayerin's sister and Briarose's first born daughter. She is a quarter ogre, and stands at 6'3''. (she's the shortest out of all her family members with ogre blood) She looks more like her father and has straight brown hair, a pointed face, and blue cat eyes. She has not taken any risks like Dayerin, and does not have any piercings or tatoos. She is in hiding like Dayerin, but she took a different approach. Instead of peasant clothes, she wears flashy white garments, navy blue armor, and a purple cape.
Personality: Contrary to popular belief, Mornalee is actually quite brave. She is dedicated and is willing to put up with hard work. Right now, the thing Mornalee wants the most is
revenge on Contalabutte. She wants to save her mother, and she will do anything to kill the emperor who banished her away from Spindewas. When it comes to friends, Mornalee tends to be an introvert. She only makes friends unless she has to.
Equipment: A sword that she attained from an old friend. She also has a white horse named Sumas. The horse will sometimes stay at a friend's stable in Towerlot
History: Mornalee seemed to be the opposite of Dayerin. While Dayerin was the one who explored, Mornalee was the coward who would stay at the castle. She wasn't afraid of her past, it's just she didn't think that she should be meddling into that sort of stuff. She would occasionally tag along with him when he visited his ogre friends, but most of the time she prefered to stay at home. The fact that her grandmother tried to eat her scared Mornalee just a little bit.
During the dark days when Spindewas was at war, Mornalee remembered escaping to her room, trying to get away from it all. The problem was, she couldn't. She was ashamed that she didn't help her mother when she was scared, but Mornalee was too scared herself.
Once Mornalee and Dayerin were banished from the kingdom, they were in a bit of a quarrel. Mornalee had ideas of making up to Contalabutte, while Dayerin would have left the kingdom even if Contalabutte hadn't banished them. They headed their own ways, and while Dayerin went north, Mornalee headed east. Unfortunately, She didn't know too well where she was going, and she remembers starving to death in the woods. A huntesman found her almost dead, and decided to take care of her for a while. When he asked her for her name, she told him Skylar. She spent a great deal of time in the woods thinking about her past, and decided she wanted to change herself from being cowardly and weak to courageous and strong. She learned the ways of the blade from the huntsman, chopped her hair off, and swapped her dresses for armor. Once able to take care of herself, "Skylar of the Sword" traveled the land, challenging those who would take advantage of others. The townsfolk would sometimes even reward her with gifts. This is how she is able to ride her cream white horse, Sumas.
Now that the name of Skylar has become known throughout the land, she is heading to Mewhaven in search of the famous hero, Puss in Boots.
