Hunter didn't say much of anything else in response to the Swordsman's reply, except say, with a nod. He was more interested in seeing the kid's capabilities. Already he could see two swordsmen in the same building. One was hacking away at the airborne chairs while the other used his sheathed sword to move in closer to the Shadow Mage. He wasn't much for weapons as he trusted in his own hardened body and powerful fists to do the work. Still it was always a pleasure to see another's style of fighting and he could tell that these two are skilled. Unfortunately this doesn't mean a thing until he understands how this guild thinks and acts. They could be happy-go-lucky guys but everyone has their threshold. Hunter watched as the crisis was being handled.
The Kid who started it was doing his best to help calm the girl down. To Hunter, it seemed like the guy was a smooth operator...the kid must be something of a wooer himself. His words were kind, but just how far can his generosity go before it dries up like a prune? The girl seemed to be responding positively to his gentle words as she responded...not in the way he expected. All of a sudden she performed a second magic...the opposite of Shadow, Light. "No...it can't be? Another Chaos Mage?" He thought to himself. It seemed unlikely considering how dangerous the magic is and how restrictive it can be on your life. Yet shadows and light are opposites of one another, not too far off from his own magic. He watched the event with great interest.
It seems this boy with the sword didn't seem to care about the strange nature of her magic. The way she described it was odd...it wasn't the normal way of Chaos. Even so, this girl interested Hunter...he would have to keep an eye on her. Finally the shadows retreated and the Swordsman declared a victory. It was then his joyful mood transformed into one of terror. And well, he can understand why, the woman was as intimidating as he was. It's not too often Hunter runs across another Human being that could match him for height or build. Still he sort of appreciates that...sometimes he feels like a tower compared to the smaller ones running around. Yet in the face of this amazon the boy kept a relative cool and even was bold enough to ask for more coffee. He was brave, he would give him that. Despite not even saying ten words to these guild mages, they've already seem intent on bringing him to their guild. How fortune for him, perhaps he may stay in the guild for awhile. He then walked back to his seat and picked up his expensive suit case and stood around waiting to be led.
It was then they introduced themselves. The first kid he saw was named Jin Akri and the second one was named, Jamboree Makism. It was during this time they asked for his name. He contemplated answering when the girl answered first. Once again she responded not with her voice but with her magic. Was she really this shy around people? Despite the nature of her magic, it would seem reaching out to this one was but a fool's errand. The kids before him however, do not appear the types to quit. Who knows? Perhaps they might break her out of her shell? It was this behavior that made him even more suspicious of her being a Chaos Mage. "Maybe I should speak with her? Tell her that she is not alone...no, if she can be that easily disturbed then my actions would definitely cause a crisis." Hunter thought to himself. It was him being deep in thought that he nearly forgot about answering Jin. He then took a breath, "Hunter, that is my name." He answered. He then waited to be led to their guild, Cait Shelter.
