Pipa and Piper's Story

Jinny

"Alright Crow, let's go!"

Jinny made her way to the hatch, opened it, jumped through, and stood on the ship. She waited for Crow to come out of the hatch. There were no sounds anywhere from the plains the ship was located in, but as Jinny waited for Crow, she swore she could hear some faint noise. From where she was standing, It sounded like the sound was coming from the south......from the jungle. Another ship crash? No, if it was a ship crash, there would be more sound. So what was it? Jinny paid more attention, and assumed the sound was screaming. If it was screaming, whatever it was that was making the screaming was angry. She feared for Damien and Kara's lives.

Pipa and Piper

It was a peaceful night for Pipa and Piper as they flew their dragons across the starry sky. Pipa made plans to hunt on the seashores of Serakin, since the girls had never set foot on a soft beach before. Since summer was coming, marine life was in high demand, and the twins didn't want to miss the oppurtunity to strike a fortune. Pipa proposed a plan to reach the beach at night, camp out, and then hunt in the morning when the sea creatures would be out.

When the twins finally found the seashore in the dark, the landed their dragons, and lit their lamps. They both felt the gentle touch of the sand for the first time. Pipa jumped around in it, while Piper cringed with every step.

Pipa ran out to the water, eager to feel the coolness of the waves, when suddenly, she noticed the hundreds of ripped tails, The touch of red blood on the flowing waves, and even some of the mermaid carcasses, resting on the sandbars.

"Evom ot siht tops....",("Come here...") Pipa called out to Piper. Piper ran quickly over and saw the chaos as well.

"hoog, morfil thaw a dreh, a tha teh shretaw an teh eros dow eb tsuj sa spik sa teh dahns."
("gosh, from what i heard, i thought the waters on the beach would be just as clean as the sand.")

"Piper, ese mermaids eeva neeb slaed tsuj wun."
("Piper, these mermaids have been killed just now.")

The twins looked at each other with a serious glare. The decided to look for survivors.

"HELLO!!!!", Piper shouted, "CAN ANYONE HEAR ME?!?"

Crow

Crow nodded and flew outside, stuffing the bag of food in the inside pocket of his coat as to protect it from the rain. He then looked towards Jinny, just as a sound pierced the pitter patter of rain and hail. Crow shudders in anxiety and the cold before scooping up Jinny in his arms and leaping into the air and slowly, tiredly, flying into the air with a steady beat of his wings. He panted a bit for air before flying straight over the forest. His feet barely touching the tips of tall trees. Nevertheless, his eyes were like a hawks, scanning the forest floor for the shooting stars. His eyes then spotted the black chunks of metal between the trees and growth. He sighed before tilting towards the wreckage and downward toward earth.

After a small amount of time passed, the two eventually landed on the forest floor safely.

Nereus

Nereus roared as the ice beam made first contact with his scaly skin. It instantly froze almost half of the serpents body including the sea around it. He growls and gapes his mouth. A blue light emanating from the serpents maw and back of throat before it tilted it's head toward the frozen part of the sea, near his body. In a matter of seconds, a bright blue beam of energy blasted from the serpents mouth making his head bolt back a bit. It made contact with the ice in the sea and water, causing it to crack all around it's body before the ice started falling off the serpent in massive shards. It looked over at the direction the mermaid went and growled before his eyes looked up at the sky. There he saw two dragons landing near the beach shore a good ways away. they either saw him or not but right now, Nereus was ready for a late night snack, and dragons just happened to be the best animal that's suitable for this massive beast.

Nereus let out another growl that sounded much like a moan underwater. He then dipped his head into the sea followed by his incredibly long body. After his body was completely submerged, he began to scope the area of the beach, looking for a deep enough spot where he can nab those dragons. At another angle though, he realized there were another creatures there as well. Quite to small for him to eat so he ignored them whilst getting into position. He let his body sink to the floor except his head, half of his neck and tail. He used his serpentine body to keep him moving so it appeared as if he was rested on the bottom but he was actually hovering just above the sea floor. Head pointing directly at the dragons.

Unlike most serpents, Nereus was smart. So smart that he pushed up the sand around the beach waters making the water appear murky and hard to sea in so his body was concealed by the dirty water. He also managed to kick up the sand around the other parts of the beach during scoping, so it wouldn't appear suspicious that only one part of the beach was murky. His whisker like tentacles on the bottom of his jaw felt around his head and on the sea floor making sure he kept a good enough distance away from the floor. A moment later, all four of his bright blue eyes opened before he opened his mouth, making the water collapse into the serpents mouth before his massive head broke the surface.

Jinny

When Crow landed on the jungle floor, Jinny got off his back and said, "thanks again, Crow." Jinny reverted back to her serious personality. Even though Kara and Damien were close by, Jinny sprinted anyway. It seemed as if Damien had changed Kara in an oversized jacket and huge cargo pants. Kara was cuddling next to Damien, and Jinny couldn't help but think, "lovebirds."

She squatted next to Damien and opened her backpack. "I brought a ton of medkits, as well as food. Help yourself." Before she gave the backpack to Damien, she grabbed a raincoat for herself and put it on. She pulled her hood up, tucking in her pearly-blonde hair, and started to nap under a tree.

Pipa and Piper

Piper's scream when she saw Nereus was blood curdling.
Piper had dropped her lamp on Pipa's foot, but Pipa didn't notice; she was pulling out her bow as fast as she could.

"FITE NOSITOP!!! WUN!!!"
("FIGHT POSTION!!! NOW!!!")

Despite her fear, Piper obeyed, and the two started to shoot their arrows towards the beast. Did the sea monster have ONE or TWO heads?
Was it in the water, or bursting through the sand? Was it REALLY that big? Was it a dream or reality? Pipa and Piper didn't know, they just kept shooting.

Despite Piper's brilliant shots, the monster still seemed to be alive. Was he too far away? The twins had no idea. As the booming sound of the dragon's roars hit Pipa, the purpose of the monster finally dawned upon her.

"PIPER!!! TRIMPS UT TEH DRAGONS!!! MIA UT TOOSH TA TRIMPSINGAL!!! YERT ROFAL TAUGHT GHINT'S GIWO AW!!!"
("PIPER!!! RUN TO THE DRAGONS!!! TRY TO SHOOT WHILE RUNNING!!! AIM FOR THAT THING'S GLOWING EYE!!!")

Piper nodded upon getting Pipa's message. The twins kept shooting at the monster while sprinting with all their strength towards the dragons. Pipa wasn't worried about the dragons getting hurt, but about the dragons being lost forever.

Nereus

Nereus roared in anger as annoying little arrows collided with armory skin. He growled and looked towards the way the arrows were coming from and found that it was the two smaller creatures shooting them. Nereus hissed, spraying water out onto the sand before more of hid neck lurks out of the water before he dives toward the smaller creatures only for his massive head to hit he sand. The elves had already run towards the dragon and because of how his eyes were placed on his head he couldn't have seen them.

One of Nereus's weak spots you would call it. The serpent slowly pulled it's head off the beach and looked towards the dragons. He wasn't fast out of water, but in water, he could probably beat the elves to the dragons. Before the serpent had moved, a small little arrow had lodged itself right into the serpents right eye. Nereus roared in agony and anger shaking the arrow off. When he opened his eye though, nothing could be seen but a blurry red cloud. He roared once again. Oh well, Gray could fix this and for now, he would have to rely on the second right eye. Nereus shook the pain away before snaking his way into the water.

Passing the elves by mere feet, the serpent bolted forth out of the water, once again gaping his mouth, only this time, nothing but a blue beam of shear energy burst out of his mouth. He wasn't aiming at the dragons(He preferred his catches alive) but at the jungle in an attempt to scare the elves away or block their path.

Crow

Crow nods and heads over to a tree, with fan like branches. He slowly crawls under a low hanging one and shifts the branches above him so that their big leaves would shield Crow from the rain and hail. When he was through, he sits down on the soft moss, taking out his now favorite food, and stuffing himself on the delectable taste.

Jinny

Jinny woke up right when Crow was creeping into the shadows.

All throughout the battle, Jinny swung through the trees and tried to get a charged shot of plasma at Pandora, but to no avail. After one of Damien's bullets hit her, Jinny saw tornadoes. Many tornadoes. She breathed hard, and she felt her muscles start to get tense. She felt like she was about to fall out of the tree she was in. Jinny had post-traumatic stress disorder, and out of anyone, Jinny suffered most from her fear. She was just about to faint, when Crow's dart hit her, and the tornadoes were gone.

Jinny regained her composure, and kept aiming. Suddenly, the monster made two fireballs in her hands. "It's time to play..", she said, looking directly at Crow. Jinny gasped. She didn't think Crow would be able to dodge those fireballs. However, Jinny knew that when the monster striked at Crow, she would have her chance.

When Pandora's fireballs almost hit Crow, Jinny swung down from the tree, got behind Pandora, and shot her plasma beam directly at Pandora. Being fully charged, the beam should have killed or at least paralyzed her. To be safe, Jinny quickly switched her pistol to whip mode, and wrapped her coil around Pandora's neck. (almost like a lasso)

Pipa and Piper

Pipa had just made it to Hyoushi when the sea monster passed the elves and dragons and shot a blue beam of light at the jungle in front of the elves, setting fire to some trees. This didn't scare Pipa, but for Piper it was terrifying.

"PIPER!!PEEK TRIMPSINGAL!!!!"
("PIPER!! KEEP RUNNING!!!"), Pipa shouted. Piper obeyed. Pipa started to fly on Hyoushi. When Pipa started to fly, Piper made it on Rawzah. Rawzah started to fly as well. Pipa was about to shoot Nereus from above, when she felt that she had no arrows left.

"PIPER!!! YERT ARAVAIN!!!"
("PIPER!!! AIM AGAIN!!!")

While Hyoushi started to spout fire at the beast, Piper got out her bow again and aimed at the monster. With only 4 arrows left, Piper became worried. She calmed herself down, and thought to herself "aim for the eye, aim for the eye." With one clean sweep, Piper aimed for the eye. She didn't know where the arrow went because she covered her eyes after she shot the arrow.

Nereus

Nereus chattered deep within his throat, almost sounding like chuckling as the fire from the dragons seemed useless. He began to growl in annoyance and gaped his mouth exposing his two rows of teeth, he bit down in an attempt to nab one of the dragons but his actions were too slow. His whiskers which were oddly on the bottom of his mouth, felt around the air but even this didn't help.

After about 5 seconds, this was becoming very annoying to the serpent. His tail lurched out of the water and began swiping at the dragons, moments later, the worst thing happened to the snake like monster. Another arrow had lodged itself right in the middle of the serpents eye. Yet again on the same side its other eye had been hit. The serpent let out the most ear splitting roar anyone could hear before it shook its head violently. The arrow though remained in its eye.

It began to hum and whine in agony. the other arrow wasn't so deep, this one though was through his pupil. He roars once again in yet another attempt to take the arrow out by thrashing his head around. This though used up all of his energy and the serpents head collapsed onto the beach, its nostrils flaring up and down with each massive breath. Out of fatigue and frustration, Nereus let out a hissing moan of defeat.

Crow

Crow was shaking to death. He clasped his hands on the mans pants legs not even daring to peak at the battle scene. What if Kara dies? Heck, what if we all die? Crow didn't want to die like this. He was hoping he would die in a more peaceful way, like in his sleep in a small clearing on a soft bed of moss...That was how an old deer died one time. Crow was gathering berries when he saw the graceful beast. It's antlers towered high and proud and it's fur was stained white. It's eyes even looked tired and worn. Crow watched as the deer fearlessly approached Crow and licked some of the berries out of his hands. After that day, Crow had found a new friend but after that, when he returned he saw that the deer was resting in the middle of the clearing breathing soft sleep like breaths.

Crow didn't disturb the deer and watched in shock as its last breaths were drawn. Yes, Crow was saddened. Very saddened, but he continued on his day even burying the bucks corpse in that very clearing. Now, once dyeing now thriving papaya tree grows fruit that's larger than Crows skull hat.

Anyways, back to the battle.

Realization hit Crow when he looked up at the man he didn't know at all. Instead of asking who he was though, Crow kept his yap shut and covered his head with his wings from the mockery, fire, and blood.

Jinny
"no prob." Jinny said with a half smile to Kara. She was certain that Kara was dead, but Kara had recovered, and shot the evil angel in the head.

Jinny looked over at the angel's body when Kara had kicked it. "I'm scared that girl is gonna get back up. Go check on Damien. make sure he's okay. It looks like he passed out or something during the battle. As for me, I'm gonna go look for Crow. If you need a medkit, it's in my backpack. I think Damien had it last."

Jinny sprinted into the bushes without hesitation, but fell over. She bumped into something, or someone. She looked up from the ground to see the big, tall man that looked like a zombie.

Pipa and Piper

Piper couldn't believe her luck. She had hit the monster's eye, making the monster use up all its energy until it collapsed on the sand. The two dragons flew as fast as they could away from the defeated sea serpent.

Pipa and Piper completely forgot about hunting. They were concerned with the mass murder of the mermaids in the Serakin sea. Did the sea serpent work on it's own, or did it belong to someone else. Questions raced through the twins' heads as they flew farther and farther down the coast.

When they felt they had gotten as far away as they could from the incident. The twins landed their dragons and made a campfire. Hyoushi had small cuts from when Nereus was swiping at the dragon. However, Piper was able to fix this with herbs she always carried in her pouch. Pipa started to make a campfire. There was still light left in her lamp, so Pipa used the fire to light the wood. The two stared into the fire, recollecting the events they had just witnessed in their minds.

3 arrows left. The twins were nervous about this. They didn't know if they had the raw materials to make good arrows in the wild. Also, there weren't any shops around for miles, so they couldn't buy any arrows. Despite this, Pipa and Piper decided that instead of hunting for seafood, they would try to find more about the killing of the mermaids in the morning.

Nereus groaned and tiredly lifts his head from the sand only to collapse again. Blood trickled down the side of his face. Where his two eyes used to be were nothing but blood ovals. The serpent still didn't have enough energy from the fight. Nereus couldn't handle long attacks such as this, and the snake-like creatures energy dropped faster than what you would expect.

Nereus snorted in defeat once more. It was hopeless for the sea creature to go and swim off to Gray now. He would have to wait till midnight before his energy would at least take him to the island where Gray is.

Unbeknownst to the elves hat Gray had watched the whole thing with dismay and pity for his pet. He steadily tapped his fingers on the arm of his chair. "Where the bloody hell is Pandora?" He growls. "You would think that it takes the Angel of Death to kill off a bunch of lowly Nexinians." He continues on before sighing and resting his head in his hand.

"Who to send next..." He says regarding to the elves that had tired out his beast. He may be a master of evil and darkness but he had a heart for his pets and he hated when one was killed or injured. Not only does it take away the much needed protection but it puts an ache in his heart. Ironic isn't it? Though he never showed it at all.

"Lets see here...I want someone that would scare them, make them run away from the site...." He couldn't risk anyone even taking a hint that he even existed. He knew he could kill them in a matter of seconds but that would draw to much attention and of course suspicion.

Gray continued to think. Oberon? No...That horse is too rowdy...Drogo? Nah, better if they were deep in their sleep...Akakios/ He's not as powerful at the beack where there are no trees or steep ground...Cassius? Just had gotten back from a battle with a Nexis helicopter... He continued to think before snapping his fingers. "Aha!" He then turned to Xerxes who was by his side. "Xerxes! Release Angra Mainyu and bring him to me..." Gray says as he chuckles darkly at his newest pet. A three headed hellhound with skull like faces and sharp snake like teeth. It was as big as an elephant and stronger than one as well.

When the mutt was presented to Gray, he commanded it to go after the two elf sisters but he specifically told him not to kill them, only to scare them away. The mutt had bowed before the evil master before he was teleported to there camp site.

Angra Mainyu

Angra dropped onto the ground from the blue portal created by his master. The beast looked around before his eyes picked up the faint flickering of a light behind all the brush. Angra crouched down, his other two heads snapping at each other before paying attention to the fire. Angra's second half of his name was split into two names. A name for each head. Angra was the alpha head in the middle. Main was the delta head on the left and Yu was the other delta head on the right.

Angra Mainyu took slow and careful steps towards the fire. It's orange cracks in its paper like skin glowed as vibrant as his eyes. Shadow like tentacles dragged behind the beast which was completed in a wolf like tail. Angra's eyes darted to the two larger figures. Dragons. Angra growled as his two other heads payed close attention to the girls. Unlike most other creatures, the hellhound could speak in a low whispery hush with no emotion. In fact it almost sounded like hissing the way Angra Mainyu spoke.

Main growled. "Ssshhhould we attack..." Yu spoke up quietly but with anger. "Of courssse we ssshhhould attack!" Mainyu was silenced by Angra. "The massster would be disssspleasssed with you two...." Angra spoke in great annoyance but kept calm and waited. "We wait until they are fully unaware of the danger they are in...." Angra said before he laid down on the soft moss. "Then we sssstrike..." Angra Mainyu whispers before all three heads rested on the ground.

((Ok a new pet which I find sorta cool. Angra the alpha head controls the body. The other two can give commands, but only Angra can do them. When I say Angra Mainyu I am referring to all the heads. When I just say Mainyu I am referring to only the two deltas and so on and so on... Hope this post didn't confuse anybody...))

Jinny
Jinny got up on her feet.
"Don't worry, i wasn't intending to raise my gun at you. I would never question the life of an innocent person."
Jinny brushed off some of the dirt on her suit and looked up at Astrad in the eyes. He almost looked like frankenstein.
"Yes, that's Crow behind you, that's who i'm looking for, and yes, i'm from Nexis. I'm assuming you are to. Do you have any more questions? If not, i have some for you as well."

Pipa and Piper
It wasn't much, but Piper managed to make another three arrows out of three sharp rocks she found in the water, 3 sturdy sticks from driftwood, and some rope. She tested them a little bit, and gave them to Pipa. Piper prayed that they would at least do for now.

After about 10 minutes Pipa said,
"Minus ut ag ut nooze"
("time to go to sleep")

The twins shut their eyes,but after about 3 minutes, Piper tiredly said,
"Pipa, A tnow....."
("Pipa, I can't.....")

Without hesitation, Pipa pulled out her blue ceramic ocarina from her pouch.

"Aires, telli a atemisi ee om-gine....."
("Here, let me play you something.....")
She said. The song she played on her ocarina was a lullaby. It was a traditional elf lullaby created by the elves of Laguz, the group which the twins belonged to. Pipa and Piper had learned the Laguz culture from their mother and their tribe until they were both 14 (in elf years), when a notorious group of bandits had murdered the elves to drink their blood (elves live TWICE as long as regular human beings, so drinking elf blood can make you live longer) The twins escaped the attack, and became the last surviving members of the Laguz tribe.

The lullaby that Pipa played was soothing enough to put anybody to sleep. Piper immediately drifted off into the clouds. When Pipa could hear her breathing deeply, she put her ocarina away, rested her head on a log of driftwood, and closed her eyes.

(ooc, just some backstory on the twins because i don't think i really put any on their character page.)

Jinny
Jinny was pleased to see that Astrad had found Damien. She figured everything was going to be okay until.....

"Aw shit."

Jinny remembered that she had left the backpack in the fire. She ran back into the fire as fast as she could. It's hard to find an orange backpack in the jungle when everything is on fire, and you can barely see or breathe from smoke. To make things worse, Jinny was wearing a BLACK suit, so you can imagine how hot it was. Jinny's suit WAS shock proof, but not fire proof. She felt burning everywhere.

Suddenly, she saw the backpack. It looked as if it hadn't sustained any damage. Jinny quickly grabbed it, and sprinted back to Astrad. Crack. Now trees started to fall. Perfect. Jinny caught up to Astrad, and despite pain everywhere, she kept moving.

Basically, whenever there was an open passageway NOT blocked by trees or fire, Jinny ran through it. She had no clue where she was going. All she knew was that she had to run away.

Finally, she managed to get away from the fire. She had followed a long winding river that led to a strange cavern (the same cavern Kara exited from a while ago). She stopped, and fell on the ground. She was overcome with anger and had to get it out.

"WHY DOES THAT GIRL ALWAYS HAVE TO GET KIDNAPPED OR HURT?!?! IT ONLY CAUSES PAIN FOR THE REST OF US!!!! GAAAAAHHHH!!!!"

Jinny started to feel the pains of her burns again. She knew she had the backpack with medkits in her hands, but she was still angry.

"ALL THIS, PEOPLE GETTING KILLED, SHOT, BURNED, TORTURED, ALL FOR A STUPID CUBE AND ORB!!!!!"

Jinny breathed heavily. It took a while for her to calm down. She took off her suit, revealing a navy blue tank top and tan shorts. She reached in the backpack for a medkit, and pulled out some burn medicine. She started to lather it on her arms and legs.

It would be a long night.


Pipa and Piper


Pipa was almost out of the land of the concious. She had almost drifted off into a whimsical sleep.....

.....until Piper started snoring.


Pipa's eyes were still closed as she sighed. Piper snored occasionally, but when she did, it was extremely annoying and Pipa almost always had insomnia.

But snoring wasn't the only sound Pipa heard; she also heard hissing.

Pipa assumed that this hissing sound was coming from a snake. She had learned that most of the time, if you ignored the snake, it wouldn't attack. Then again, that also depended on the type and size of the snake. Just in case, Pipa leaned over to one side, as if turning in sleep, and grabbed an arrow behind the piece of driftwood her head was nudged on. If the snake decided to attack, Pipa could easily lodge the arrow into its throat.

Or so she thought.

Jinny

"What is this Cube and Orb you spoke of?"
The second question of the day that secretely shocked Jinny. She realized she would probably have even more explaining to do today. As Jinny put some more burn medicine on, she said......

"The Algonzech cube and the sunzaik orb are the two most sacred items and treasures for Nexis and Serakin. Nexis has the Algonzech cube, which is the greatest piece of technology ever invented. It can transform into over one-thousand pieces of weapons and other technology. It is so powerful, that it is illegal to make. Back in my bounty hunting days, I had to catch some of the criminals who were trying to reproduce the Algonzech cube. It's THAT powerful.

The Sunzaik orb i'm not quite sure how to explain........I know that it contains many varieties of magic, and like the algonzech cube, the holder becomes very powerful.

Supposedly, Nexis has found the sunzaik orb, and serakin has found the algonzech cube. Both sides have the sacred treasures hidden somewhere. Because of this, Nexis and Serakin are going crazy and have started this........war. Though, after recent events with that angel, I think there's something fishy going on around here......."

Jinny heard sounds coming from the entrance of the cave. She stood up and raised her pistol, just in case.

Pipa and Piper

This was one smart snake. As Pipa had grabbed her bow, the snake had removed it from her hands. Pipa realized she still had her arrow in the other hand. What she decided to do was both risky and dangerous.

Pipa quickly stood up, and tried to stab the arrow into the snake's throat. But it wasn't a snake..........it was a dog;


a three-headed dog.


Pipa screamed. It was a thing she rarely let out of her mouth. She ran over to Piper, not caring about her own bow and arrows. She shaked her to try to get her out of her sleep.

"PIPER PIPER!!!!!", she frantically shouted. Piper at least stopped snoring, but if she didn't wake up soon, both of the twins would be in danger.

Jinny

Out of nowhere, Crow was at Jinny's knees. Jinny put down her pistol and heard him say....

"I sorry I coul'n't say Kara!!! I really try to say her!!!!"
"C-crow.......it's fine, don't worry.", she spoke, trying to calm him down. Just then, another strange girl entered. She was out of breath as she said...

"H-Hello fellow Serakinians..."
Her eyes widened and she fell to the ground as she realized she was speaking to Nexinians. Jinny looked back at Astrad, then at Crow. She asked Crow,
"Is this your friend?"

Pipa and Piper

Piper woke up as soon as a tree behind her fell down. When she woke up she shouted, "Holy........." and screamed when she saw it was a three headed dog. It was chaos as Pipa and Piper tried to gather their things and ride away on the dragons. They could fight, but being unprepared, they didn't want to risk losing everything they had.

"Run away little pesssstssss!!!", the dog said. This made Pipa extremely angry. Nevertheless, she sprinted to Hyoushi, her white dragon, and quickly jumped on his back.

"PIPER!!! SHI YAWNA!!!"
("PIPER!!! THIS WAY!!!")

Pipa pointed in the direction towards the trees. Hyoushi flew off on Pipa's command.

When Pipa's dragon had reached the first tree in the forest behind them, Piper reached Rawzah, her black dragon. However, despite Piper's commands to head towards Pipa's dragon, Rawzah was startled by the three-headed dog. Disobeying orders, Piper's dragon flew full speed ahead towards the other direction, the sea.

Piper tried, but she couldn't get Rawzah to obey her.

The twins had split.

Jinny

"I foun' her in duh jungle ah alone..." , Crow said. He then started to hug Jinny. From all the burns on her arms, she felt more pain.
"She say she hah frien's an sen' one uh her dogs to find dem. Her name i' Mor-Morana." , he said, looking at the terrified girl.

Suddenly, the girl took out some sort of red spear. From her cute appearance, Jinny thought she was friendly, but from the spear, she changed her opinion.

Astrad took charge and said, "Place your weapon down, we mean no harm."

"Seriously, we mean no harm," Jinny said, "We've been through enough today that i think i'm just about ready to call it quits."
Jinny took an elastic band off her wrist and started to make a high ponytail on the back of her head.

Pipa

A loud howl, and then more stampeding. Pipa could hear the ferocious dog coming closer. She turned around to see if Piper was following her, but she only saw trees and greenery of the forest. This made Pipa worry. Piper's dragon must have disobeyed orders again. This happened occasionally, as Rawzah was more rebellious than Hyoushi.

Pipa commanded Hyoushi to fly a bit higher. As Hyoushi obeyed, Pipa could see that the dog had weird tentacle like things on its back. Pipa realized it could possibly be a weakness.


Piper

"PIPAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!", Piper shouted. It was no use; the twins were so far away that shouting and screaming wouldn't do anything. Suddenly, Piper heard a loud howling sound. It was most likely coming from the dog they had just encountered. Piper could feel her eyes getting watery. She had to hold back tears that she could feel. She wished she could be better with animals like Pipa. That way, her dragon wouldn't be so stubborn. Piper sighed as she looked at beach getting farther and farther away. She had no idea how much danger she was in.

Jinny

Jinny could see the dog resting its head on the girl's lap. Jinny liked dogs. She sat on the ground, and started to talk amongst the group, saying,

"Alright, Let's assess what we know. Kara's been kidnapped or possibly even killed in an unknown location. The mysterious angel woman we encountered before has kidnapped her. I think we should get some rest now, and tomorrow, we find a way to all get out of the jungle. If we get out of the jungle, it will be much easier to move and to not get eaten alive by any more giant spiders, or mutated things, or WHATEVER. Also, we know that my ship is in the plains area of Serakin. I don't think Crow can do the job of lifting us all there, so we're going to have to travel by foot. We also know that Damien is still passed out. I'm not sure if he's going to wake up today, tomorrow, three days from now, a week, or NEVER. i think when i saw tornados in that battle with the angel, our worst fears were shown in front of us. Hopefully Damien's fear wasn't death".
She turned to Astrad,
"Do you think you would be able to carry him the whole day tomorrow, just in case? If not, we can wait until he wakes up".

Piper

Once again, Piper screamed. Rawzah was startled as well.
"NOT YOU AGAIN!!!", she shouted.
Rawzah still flew overhead with the sea, the beach behind him and Piper. Not on the sand, Nereus was much faster.
Piper tried to think up a strategy, but she couldn't. She knew she had to look behind her, even though she really didn't want to.
She noticed that Nereus was tilting his head to the right. This must have meant that the arrow from before had penetrated his right eye, but not his left. Piper then realized what she had to do.

Jinny
"I'm sorry but he got away!" Astrad yelled with disappointment in his voice.
Jinny started to regain her sight, at least a little bit. She could make out Crow, her suit on the cave floor, and items from her backpack scattered everywhere. Jinny had a feeling the girl from before was lying.

Jinny kicked the cave wall in pure anger. The elictro pistol was the only remnant of her father that she had left. When Jinny was a young girl, her father embarked on the project of creating a gun that could also be used as other purposeful devices with the main source being plasma. When Jinny's father and mother died, Jinny promised on her parent's grave that she would finish what her father started. And so, by the age of fourteen, Jinny had created the gun. There was only one in existence.

Jinny wanted to cry, but Morana's voice stopped her. There was another Serakinian over by Morana. She said,
"Oh Sabirah! Thank the Lord you are here!"
As she said this, Jinny realized it was better to have lost a gun than have lost a life. Then again, Kara would probably be losing hers pretty soon. The Serakinian in armor then said,
"I want to thank you for keeping Morana safe."
"No problem." Jinny replied.

Jinny didn't know how she was going to kill that hybrid-version thing of Kara without a weapon. She had learned a variety of fighting and acrobatic skills when she was a spy, but she never really put them to use in her bounty hunting. She decided that the only way to survive at this point was to put in a little extra work.


Pipa
The dog could talk. The problem was, Pipa had no clue what it was saying. Without Piper, Pipa had no way of translation. The dog was getting closer and closer. The forest below Pipa looked like it was turning into dense jungle. Pipa prayed for her and Piper's safety.

Piper
The beast from before had been attacking Piper and her dragon for a while. Piper's heart was beating faster and faster. Her and Pipa were probably both going to die, both in horrific ways. Piper looked out into the open sea. Great, now she could see an ISLAND in the distance! She was probably heading straight for the other country!

Piper tried to calm herself. What would Pipa do in this situation?
Pipa would try to get rid of the main problem: the beast.
How would Pipa get rid of the beast?
She would find the creature's weakness.
What was the creature's weakness?
Not being able to use it's eye, but it also moved slower when out of the water.
That was it. Piper would have to take the fish out of the water. She knew just what to do. She shouted her plan to Rawzah, who was now mostly calmed down. Piper waited until Nereus made his next move.

Piper
The dragon barely escaped the blue beam of light coming out of the monster's mouth. Piper practically almost fell off Rawzah.
Piper put a determined look on her face as she watched below for the beast's next attack. Suddenly, it came straight foward, it's jaws slowly closing around the dragon.
"Alright.....NOOOOWWW!!!"
Rawzah quickly flew behind Nereus. Without hesitation, Rawzah wrapped it's strong arms around Nereus, picking it up literally out of the water.
Piper could hear Rawzah struggling.
"C'mon....you can do it....you can do it, boy...."

Jinny
It seemed as it out of nowhere, Jinny heard Crow ask her, "Wha' wron'?"
Jinny didn't want to tell Crow what happened. She figured that Crow was too innocent to hear what Jinny had to say.
Instead of telling him everything on her mind, Jinny just sat down next to him, looking down at the cave floor, and said quietly,
"I lost something very important to me."

Jinny
When Crow mentioned preening, Jinny couldn't help but smile. She thought it was cute how Crow was trying to cheer her up. It was nice to have someone to count on when things were rough. When the skull helmet on Crow's head tipped over his eyes, Jinny laughed.

She started to ask, "Where'd you get that helmet anyway?"

Piper
Piper kept encouraging the dragon to keep lifting. She thought things would be fine, until Nereus started to swipe at the dragon. One of its swipes landed a clean blow on the dragon's leg. Rawzah roared in pain, and Piper almost fell into the water.

Piper slowly scaled back up the dragon. She kept encouraging Rawzah, which seemed to help him through the pain. She knew that just holding the monster in mid-air wouldn't do anything to it, so she decided to use another tactic.

She shouted to Rawzah, "QUICK!! SWIPE HIS GOOD EYE!!"
Rawzah started to swipe, but with its pain, it seemed as if he wasn't paying attention to where he was swiping.
