Sage walked into the park keeping his eyes on the beautiful fountain that stood there. As he walked closer to the fountain, he placed his hands in his pockets, his eyes watching the water flow down into the pool below surrounding the center of the fountain. He sighed, still keeping his eyes on the fountain. His mind kept having thoughts of his parents, damn them. He wasn't quit ready to settle down he didn't want to have a wife that meant no flirting with girls, no talking with girls, hell nothing with a girl was prohibited now. What was he going to do I mean hes never even met this girl before but today was the day to meet the mystery mistress.

"Miriam stop chewing your nails thats such a bad habit" said Mimmi's mother from the seat next to her in the limo. Mimmi sighed and looked out the window, her father sat across from her when he glanced over the top of his newspaper.

"You shouldn't sound so discouraged this is the best opportunity for you to make sure that your life improves, this young man is due to inherit allot of money once he is of age. You should be grateful to your mother and I for making this decision for you" he adjusted himself in the seat.

Mimmi nodded "Yes father I understand that but what about... love" her voice trailed off with thoughts of knights and princesses in towers.

Her mother shook her head "Dear you two will learn to love one another, I was arranged to marry your father and at first I was apprehensive just as you are but time makes the heart grow fonder" she said placing a gentle hand on her daughters shoulder. Unfortunately it wasn't very comforting to Mimmi, she looked out the window as the park came into view.

"Well looks like we've arrived" her father set down his paper on the seat next to him as the chauffeur came and opened the limo door. Mimmi stepped out but noticed her parents remained in the car.

"Aren't you coming with me" she asked.

Her father shook his head and handed her an envelope "Take this and whomever has the matching symbol is the young man you're looking for".

Mimmi had a puzzled look "Father I don't understand why all the secrecy and how am I going to find him this is a very large park?" her voice started to get a little panicked.

"You'll find him don't worry you have to think of it this way, he will be searching for you as well" and with that the door was closed and the chauffeur returned to the drivers seat and the limo pulled away.

Mimmi stood there in shock for what seemed to her like forever trying to wrap her mind around all of this. It all seemed so silly to her, why didn't they think she could make a decision like this on her own. After the limo was far out of sight she decided that she should start to look for this mystery man. There were all kinds of people walking the trails of the beautiful park. If this were a different situation Mimmi would think it was romantic but as of right now she was so confused she couldn't think that way. As she came to the center of the park she saw a elegant fountain a statue that was reminiscent of the "Venus de Milo" stood in the center. Birds were perched upon it's head and pristine water was cascading down beautifully sculpted marble. She spotted a small bench and sat down not really paying attention to her surroundings.

Sitting down she sighed and looked at the envelope in her hand, "How am I going to find him here?" she asked herself as she pushed her glasses up on her nose.

Liana rode her bike slowly to the park that her parents sent her to. She listened to her ipod as a distraction, so she wouldn't think about all the things that can happen when she got there and met her fate right in the face. Her nervous gitters sent chills up her spine, which made her shiver. Of course she forget her coat in her room. Her and her parents had a huge argument before she left, but of course they won. The thought of meeting your partner for life in less then an hour was in some way exciting for Liana, but she would never admit it to anyone. She wondered in her head what he would look like, if he was tall and slender, or short and tan. She cut her train of thought when she made the turn into the park, and locked her bike up. She took out the piece of paper that her parents flung at her and told her to go. It was now crumpled from being in her pocket. Her elegant shoes made a tapping noise as she walked on the pathway. In the distance she saw a beautiful fountain, she couldn't stop her temptation. She ripped off her shoes and socks, and jumped into the shallow water of the fountain. It brought chills up her legs them numbed them to the bone, but she didn't mind. She's always had a childish self when she thought no one was watching her. In someway this was her way of acting rebellious to her parents, they made her look her best by putting her best dress on her. She picked up a hand full of water and flung it into the air, it looked like tiny glittering crystals when in the light of the fountain. A smile crept onto her face, as she laughed. But the smile slowly vanished as she realized a boy was standing at the end of the fountain, hidden by the shadows of the trees. "Ummm, sorry about that I didn't realize anyone was there." She spoke. "And um I hope I didn't get you wet."

Sage saw a small but very pretty girl splashing around in the fountain. He chuckled a bit to himself, as she spoke he replied in a deep but yet calming tone "No it's fine and I feel pretty dry right now so I don't think you got me wet". He tilted his head a bit in concern " aren't you cold?" He walked around the fountain to get somewhat closer to her.

David drummed on the steering wheel of his car to the song on the radio, that was when the music tuned down and the sound of the phone came over the speaker and with the push of a button he answered it.

"David you're on yer way to that park aint ya?" said the heavy thick Texan accent of his mother.

"Yep sure am mom on my way there now... though Im kind of caught up in traffic at the moment" he said with a sigh as the were moving at barely a crawl.

"Well Im just making sure I know how you like to take detours specially if you're hungry and there's a burger joint somewhere" her voice dripping with embarrassment at her sons addiction.

"Aww mom come on I'm supposed to be meeting this girl I don't want to go stuffing a burger in my mouth give me a little credit will ya" he chuckled a little.

"Alright fine just stay on task and don't detour even though you're stuck in traffic it aint gonna go no where so you might as well suck it up and wait for things to clear ya hear me David".

"Yes Mama now I got to go I think traffic is starting to move now bye" the line went quiet and David finally started to move forward again. Seems there was some sort of accident and that was what was holding things up. David went back to drumming beats on his steering wheel, following the GPS to his destination. Parking his car he looked around the park. It wasn't much of anything really, it looked like many parks he had seen in the past, he really didn't see what was so special that he would meet his future wife here. He shrugged and stuck his hands in his pocket, listening to his I-Phone as he walked along, whistling and humming along.

-"Now what was her name?"- he thought to himself as he went scratching his head he knew his mother had told him but he couldn't put his finger on it. Perhaps she girl would remember for him, and seek him out. That would make things allot easier but the probability of it was slim, he thought about calling his mother again, but that would end up being a tongue lashing of the century. He really didn't want to listen about how horrible he was for not listening to her in the first place. It was never that he loved his mother very much and tried his best to listen to her. But information like names or addresses never seemed to stick with David, thats why he got a GPS so he wouldn't get lost all the time.

"I wonder if they could come up with a GPS for people that would make this allot easier" thoughts of how one would make that possible began to run through his head now. Would they have to put microchips into people bodies or maybe they could wear some kind of bracelet or something. He gave up sitting down on a bench next to a bike path and began to dial his mother.

Liana Stared into the boys eyes while he spoke. "No it's fine and I feel pretty dry right now so I don't think you got me wet". He tilted his head " aren't you cold?" The boy walked around the fountain getting closer to her. "Oh not really." She said with a smile, even though she was shivering to death. She slowly stepped out of the water leaving a little trail of droplets behind her. But as she did her little piece of paper fell from her pocket, and landed next to her shoes. She picked it up quickly and stuffed it back into her coat, hoping he wouldn't see. She sat down on the edge of the fountain where it was dry, and tried to wipe off her freezing toes with the sleeve of her coat. But that utterly failed. "Oh sorry I didn't introduce myself did I? My name is Liana." She said looking up at him. "What's yours?" She added on while fumbling with her soft white socks, and slipped on her shoes. She ungainly stood up, and tried to balance herself out. And brushed a loose hair out of her face.

Misa sat up in her bed and turned off her alarm clock. She was not looking forward to this day, and reluctantly dragged herself out of bed. She went and took a shower, dried herself off and made herself presentable, putting her hair up in a bun on top of her head. She walked down the hallway and the main flight of stairs, and then to the dinning room. The dinning room table is filled with many different types of breakfast foods. And like every morning her father was sitting at the head of this long, grand table, and her mother to the right of him. She took her usual seat to the left of her father and placed a poppy seed muffin and some fruit on the plate in front of her. The three of them ate in silence, like always, and her father read the paper. It wasn't until Misa was almost done with her food did her father place down his paper, took a sip of his coffee, picked up his paper again, and addressed Misa.

"Gregory will be driving you to the park. You will be leaving in ten minutes. You should head to the pick up spot now." He said in a plain, flat voice.

"Yes father." Misa replied quietly, getting out of her seat and heading to the front door.

When she headed out the door there stood Gregory, holding the back door open. They nodded at each other as she entered the car and then he shut the door when she sat down. The ride to the park wasn't long, about 15 minutes or so. They were to meet in the park and then go get lunch with each other and just sort of hang out. Misa really didn't want to go, and she expressed this greatly with her parents, but there was no reasoning with them. Her life had already been planned, down to every little detail.

When she got to the park Gregory opened the door, she thanked him and then headed towards the middle of the park and took and seat on the ledge of the water fountain, which was the meeting spot. Misa looked around at all the other people in the park, and she became hopeful with a tinge of sadness. With all these people in the park she was hoping that he wouldn't find her and that she could go home, but a small part of her was hoping that he could remember what she looked like and could find her. They had only meet once before, about a year or so ago.

Sage saw a note flutter down by the girls feet. He watched her pick it up and put it in her pocket. His attention, from watching her quickly shifted to her lips as she spoke. She told him her name was Liana, the name for some reason sounded quit familiar, his attention towards her turned, he kept thinking "where have I heard that name before" He stood there in silence trying to remember where he heard that name.. She asked him for his name in return. He quickly looked back at her, bringing back his full attention "Oh uh my name is Sage,Sage Lieberch" His thoughts suddenly changed to the note that he saw slip out of her pocket. " Oh may I ask what that note was?" He stepped a little closer to Liana, slightly leaning in towards her.

" Oh may I ask what that note was?" He asked. Liana blushed slightly, realizing that he had caught a glimpse of it, "Oh um sure." She replied and started digging in her pocket, and a second later pulled out the crumpled envelope. "I came here to meet my future husband, but as you can see I got a little side tracked." She said as she handed to paper over to him.

He finished reading, his eyes grew big. "Uh.....". So he was right. he coughed clearing his throat and handed Liana back the note. "Just out of curiosity did you by chance read the note yourself?"

"Just out of curiosity did you by chance read the note yourself?" He said. She realized where this was going, she took in a sharp that. "Ummm not really my parents threw the envelope at me, and pushed me out the door." She said now looking now at the note. "And I couldn't read it on my way here because I ride a bike." She continued. She stared at the note. "Nice to meet you future husband." She said with a fake smile.

Is it so hard, to purchase a single red rose? How many times must I tell you...I want a red rose on it's own...no prickly thorns, and certainly not in a hunch. Only one Comprende?", Adam ordered angrily. What was so hard to fetch a single rose for goodness sake. There was no point getting a bunch since it would just be taking money out of his wallet, and what if the girl didn't like roses, wouldn't a whole bunch of something she doesn't like make her sneeze and have to stay away. Thinking about it, it was quite an idea, but doing so would unimpress his father, and if she did like them, then his money was wasted for a first meeting. Something he did not appreciate doing at all. He had seen it himself in his fathers' and his future employees where the female counterparts are causing a hole to form in their wallets. Hopefully the girl that had been chosen for him would not be like those, and instead be someone that would respect him. Things could a long way and alot better if he himself was pleased.

Charles, the butler who tended to him, which was difficult work, was someone that wasn't pleased. He had served Adam since he was growing up and he wasn't the easiest person to get along with, but sure was great once anyone became an acquainted with him. If the arranged marriage went well and Adam liked the girl, then his master would of succeeded and the kinder and gentler side of Adam will start to reveal itself. Charles didn't make it a habit of correcting his young master, but he had his orders and had to put him right, "Young sir, would it not be more prudent to buy a bunch? Afterall, she is to be your wife, and wouldn't this make a better impression...apart from your obvious charming looks o'course", just escaping his head being biten off. He wasn't sure who he feared more, his master or the young master before him.

Adam blankly looked at him, raising his eyebrows and remaining silent, as he took in his response and worked on his own response mentally before replying, "Do I tell you how to do you job? No. You do yours, and I will do mine. Now, fetch me a single bloody rose now! or I'll be telling father that your slacking in your duties". It was clear that Adam made sure that he was on the top of his game, and that he was the master, effectively putting Charles in his place. It is no wonder why they wished to soften him up and getting him married, not only to continue the family line. His blank face switched to an evil grin, before watching Charles turn away and leave, as he too returned to his business.

He couldn't believe that it was fathers' will for him to play Romeo when there was work to be done. Sometimes Adam was a workaholic, taking pride in his work and showing his father how capable he was, and now he was off to take a wife. That was all he needed, with sarcasm intended. There was no time for it, but if it was what he wanted and he'd be the heir of his estate, then guess a little sidetrack wouldn't be so bad. After putting his affairs in order, Adam, with the rose Charles brought him, aswell as telling him where he was to meet his soon-to-be bride, he then made his way to the park. There was no need for him to rush, as he'd make the girl wait. Afterall, it was practice for when she lived with him, males were the breadwinners afterall. Probably a sexist thought but he didn't care. He wanted to get back to him barking orders not being all soft. It wasn't like him at all, which is why he took his time, strolling casually after being dropped off towards the park.

All he knew was the name of his to-be bride, Akiko, but that was all. No doubt wishing to hide how she looked so he didn't judge her quickly, which he tended to do. Alas, the time for the two to meet was closing in, as Adam roamed in the park with his hands in his pockets while his white suit flew behind him. In his shirt pocket was the rose so he didn't have to hold it while making sure he looked fantastic, so if Akiko didn't like roses, then he'd have it. Wasting hard earned cash wasn't something he enjoyed very much. Seeing a female in the distance, he saw a young girl, no, a young lady, sitting on the park bench with a paper in her hand. A smirk appeared on Adam's face as he decided to approach her. He didn't know if this was the one, but he could always have a little bit of fun before he was trapped in this arranged relationship forged by his father. It annoyed him that he couldn't chose his own, but then again, once he had his business, there was always the miracle of a divorce and be free again. Then again, there was also the chance that this Akiko could be someone who he could potentially like. It was just a case of finding her.

"I thought a park is supposed to be a happy place, but you look ever so glum", Adam commented before taking a seat beside her and making himself comfortable by using the arm rest and the top of the chair so both his arms had something to lean on. If this whole idea was to make him reveal his soft side, then guess he could turn down the heat a little bit, or he'd lose control of other things in his life. He'd not been out much, and not to this particular park, so he'd at least embrace the surroundings since he had to be out here, "I know I'm a complete stranger and all, but maybe I could help you. I dunno, and if you wish to be alone, then fine. Tell me, and I'll leave you to the duckies over there", seeing that females tended to like animals and they were the closest animals in sight, hearing them quack over towards the pond.

It was quite a nice day. The sun was shining. Birds were singing. Ducks were playing. All was all goodie-goodie, and who Adam expects to see in such a heavenly place is a young female with an innocent, almost angel-like look about her, despite the glum look on her face which he had asked her about, but the park was no paradise. Paradise to him was being able to be free, to do as he please, to do things how he saw fit and not having to deal with all this. He was no puppet! but soon, he'd be the puppet-master....

Adam couldn't help himself thinking the way he does, but when things get in the way of what he wants, when he is stopped doing what he wishes to be doing, when anything he does is interfered in anyway, then he wants things to be put right. He was used to getting up and getting work done, and sorting the staff out, helping increase sales for the business, yet here he was looking for a girl, which was the least of his worries. Besides, one he was rich and famous, he could get a swimming pool, an outdoor one, and fill it with many beautiful young women that have to scrap it out to take his hand. Not in their beach clothes as that would be too much. It was hilarious just by itself.

He could imagine the scene right now as he looked to the pond as he spoke of the ducks, but instead of seeing the ducks and the pond, he saw the pond and seeing the girls pull each others hair. Adam sure had some imagination, since the females that were under him, tended to keep their distance and if they kept their distance from him, and so did others, how many more women will turn away from him when he is rich and powerful. Perhaps this was a move that could be for the better. He didn't quite know.

"Oh! I'm sorry!...I just...I can't find someone...They were supposed to be here by now...", the distressed girl replied. Though her words weren't constructed very well, it was understandable when they were lost and confused, though she was able to reply to him, a mere stranger and one that probably looked intimidated, she was brave. He'd give her that, though he begun to wonder who she was trying to find, before she held her hand out.

Since it appeared that it was needed for him to play a good guy for a lil while, he decided to oblige and took her head, merely to be polite, until he heard her name. "I'm Akiko by the way. Akiko Suzuki". It was her. The girl that was to be her bride. They partnered him of all people, a little devil, with an angel. Oh this was getting interesting, as Adam smiled, "Pleased to meet you", as he begun to work out in his head how he should approach this.

Afterall, it wasn't like he was a ladies man, or even a ladies man at all. Here he was sent to play a Romeo to a lost Juliet, in which case, he must put on quite a performance for it to play out alright. With him working under his fathers' shadow, Adam tended to join him in meetings, get a feel for the business but ever since, been doing his own work and improving upon it. In every meeting, there was always the handshake that had to be done, which he did. A nice quick, and simple handshake. However, in this case, he couldn't thrust his hand in hers and then shake once and pull out like any other women he had shook heads with, women that were fortunate to not be related to him in anyway, yet Akiko here was about to have that privilege, whether it was good and bad was for the little angel to decide, as he softly shook her head. Couldn't hurt his bride-to-be now could he.

"So, how long you been waiting? and why don't you tell me a little about yourself Akiko. I'm sure whoever your expecting will come, but there's no need to look so down when you have such a wonderful smile", giving a smile of his own back. It was necessary, he continued to tell himself, while he was still in his lounging-about position, though he wouldn't be able to keep himself concealed for long.....

Louis Cole

The sun was shining as Louis' blond hair lit up, as the rays of sunshine descended upon him. It was his big day. A day that he would come to remember for the rest of his natural-born life. It was the day, that he would meet his bride-to-be, yet it didn't seem as thrilled and excited as he thought he would be. People changed over time, both in the way they acted, and the way they looked, and the bride he was supposed to marry was one who he had not known for long, except for one occassion a few years ago. Louis was kind-hearted to a fault, and despite his weakness and his fears, he presses on, no matter what, especially when he knew he was doing it for someone. This someone he was about to meet properly and get married to, to spend his life with, would be someone special that he would love and care for, though he still had some superstition, trying to remember the face he had been shown when they briefly met, he set about trying to put some sort of image together.

This was no dream. It was reality. He thought that he would be the one who got to choose the love of his life, but instead, the one for her was already picked, yet it didn't stop him from being kind towards other females, though he refrained from dating, knowing he could not. In his dreams, he saw himself as a Prince, rescuing his Princess, the love of his life, but they were only dreams, and dreams do not come true. It was all made up, made up of things that people desired, what people sought, what they were after, their happily ever after, but in reality, there was no such thing. What they should be thankful for, is what they did have, and what was real, what was there, even if he got grief from the other lads when he wouldn't ask a certain girl out. He was not as wealthy and rich as some, in terms of riches, but then one had to define what they meant by being rich, was it economically rich, or in another sense. He was rich in love, in kindness, in care, in happiness, and as for wealth, well that was mostly kept in the family safe and used sparingly, either because they weren't super rich or just didn't wish to spend cash on things that were not important.

What they did view as important, was talent, things that made people stick out. For Louis, it was that of his music in playing the violin. He found it smooth, calm, relaxing, a great joy to listen to and appreciate, which he did alot. There was many variations of music noadays. Different styles. Different beats. Different sounds. Louis liked to play music that could not only be heard, but also be felt, as if he was reaching out to his audience. Ever heard how music is commonly referred to as soul music, sound of the heart...well that's how he felt. He wanted sounds that had feeling, sounds that literally played on the heartstrings. The music he would compose himself was often how he felt. There are those who have their emotions hidden, others have on their sleeve for those round them to see, but Louis was one who wore his emotions in his music for all to hear.

However today, he was not playing in front of just any crowd. He had played here and there, but nothing big really. Today however, would be an act that faced the toughest crowd, and that if he did not play well, then he would of failed miserably, and failed his parents. The biggest day of his life, as he composed himself, rather than his music, in keeping a straight posture, to remain calm and strong, constantly telling himself to "man up". Though they had met awhile back, it was some time ago and people change, and now was unsure what he was to look for. He didn't know a lot, and yet everything was at stake, despite his parents telling him he had met her before, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. In his time, he had met so many, helped as many, so it was hard to pinpoint which girl they were referring to. It was only a matter of time before all was revealed, so before he makes a fool of himself and ends up asking every female sees if they are waiting for him as their Mr.Right, he pulled his phone from his jacket and did the only thing he could do, something he did not like doing especially now as he was supposed to be growing up, which was to call his mother. "Hi, it's me..Umm where's the meeting place again?", he asked, deliberately giving no room to say mother or mum in a public place as he walked in the huge park, where the girl who he was to meet with could be literally, anywhere.

As always, mother was ever so helpful, in being not so helpful as he told him about the meeting place being at the fountain, reminding him of her name, and then going on and on and on, about how to act, what to do. He just felt like telling her to leave him to it, to let him do it himself, but he didn't have the heart to. Afterall, it was her and father that arranged it all, and they did not want him to fail, which added even more pressure to the situation. Once her lecture was ever, he headed towards the fountain. As he walked, he looked left and right and seeing other couples being here, there and everywhere, on the gras, on park benches, and then that's when he saw a young female shouting from the top of the fountain, a blond haired like him, yelling at all the couples while she appeared to have none beside her. Don't say this was her? Would he even get a word in? as she kept going on, reminding him of mother, before she then fell, thankfully caught by a young male, but by the way they acted, it seemed they were together, so definitely not her.

Looking around furthur, he approached the fountain until he saw another girl near the fountain, sitting on the ledge, on her own, with no male counterpart with her. She had what could be described as strawberry-blonde hair but he wasn't quite sure. It had been some time, and anyone could dye their hair, but it seemed that she was the only other female about the fountain which was the arranged meeting place, so it must be her. Picking up his courage, he then walked over to her, while his mind ticked away trying to remember when he did last meet this girl those few years ago, as alot happened in a year, before his thinking time was cut short as he was infront of her. He could not deny how beautiful she looked, but the time for gazing would come later, as he then spoke up and said softly, "Misa?", remembering the name that his mother had told him, hoping this was the one and hoping he hadn't just made an idiot of himself by asking the wrong person.

Adam Leroux

He was not making it up when he spoke about his own childhood, if he could call it childhood. Everytime he did one thing, he was always competing with his brother, so the only way he could avoid that was to do things that he was old enough to do, things that he was too young to do, and as a result, Adam grew up faster than him, and remained an asset to his father, despite his attitude problems. At the moment, he was doing his best to keep a calm and friendly posture in order not to mess the meeting up. It was as if he was a completely different person, but it didn't matter...if anyone called him bad again, he could always put on this face again and let her have some bites of the big cake that would soon be his.

Since Adam was working on the business, his brother attended college, and as a result was furthering his education whereas Adam was not, though in his opinion he didn't need it, since he was born quite smarter than others, so why bother. It only meant that his brother was making sure he had more weapons to arm himself with, but he'd lose if he didn't carry out fathers' wishes, even the outrageous ones like this. It is what he meant by "until the time comes", though the deeper meaning of those words was referring to the time he did take charge, no longer under his fathers' shadow, leaving how he liked. The only downside would be no father, but the good news was that his annoying brother would be under his mercy. If father partnered him up with someone 4 years younger, maybe give him 6, that would be hilarious, though not like some in the news of those with a double figure gap. Now that was mad.

After announcing who he was, he noticed her cheeks growing rosey red, and then with the rose, she was definitely turning into a red picture. Red was such a wonderful colour, and was glad she liked the rose, "Red roses are my favorite", which meant that she wouldn't complain when he took over the decor and allow red to dominate. Though not too much mind, or he would be too much. Just as he was about to respond to her comment about red roses, the girl who had yelled previously, had then looked towards them.

With his attention taken away to the other girl, his blue crystal eyes looked up to the other girl, [i]"Bringing your sister along to your wedding, pumpkin?"
. He could not be angry at her for stating the obvious as they were his thoughts when Akiko had told him her age, and as for "pumpkin", well she must be talking to him, but she sure was colour-blind if she couldn't tell what a perfect red was in his hair. Even with the age difference, she seemed to be a little like him, in the sense they had to act older than they were in order to go up in the world, and the fact they were both from wealthy business families, the Leroux's and the Suzuki's. Hey, that would be quite a handsome sum of money that the pair would have since she too must be the heir of the Suzuki estate.

Adam sometimes couldn't help thinking about making profit, but maybe that's why his parents had spoken to hers in order to secure a future for both their Houses and as a result, they offered both of their heirs. If he backed out, then his brother would only jump in to annoy him, and he was alot more closer to her age, but then he heard her apologise for something that wasn't her fault, and he could hardly let her go, as strange as it seemed. "...I'm sorry for being so young... I bet you weren't expecting someone as young as me.... But I'll try my hardest to be the best bride I can be and follow your orders to the letter.".

He noticed that she had blushed again, but this time she gave a smile after being all apologetic, in which he smiled back to make her feel better, before the girl before called out again, "Apologies, strangely attractive man and his very pretty fiancee,", which only made his smile widen. Adam might be quite a hard man to get along with, his workers could tell anyone that, but compliments surely go a long way, but then all the compliments wouldn't save you from Adam's wrath if you annoyed him too much. Thankfully it was not the case yet, as he passed anything that annoyed him by.

But with compliments to him, he always liked to return them with one of his own, "Why thank you. Your not so bad yourself. You both, look, stunning", including the young man she was with, as they were no doubt together and when he caught her falling and him catching, it seemed like one of those fantasy stories, but life wasn't a fantasy, sometimes things happen what you least expect, and in the end, they have a chance of actually coming out well. With his own experience, he saw that when people's spirits were lifted, it made them more happier, so in reverse, if you wanted them to fear you, then you do the opposite, which is what he tended to do at work when they annoyed him as well as reminding them whose boss.

Turning back to Akiko, he smiled, then took her hand and looked into her eyes which were blue like his, the only clear part of him, "One thing you should know about me, is that I'm not afraid to speak my mind. You have a mouth, use it", winking, before continuing, "Now, what you said about those red roses Angel...what you think of red heads?". He kept his face straight as he awaited a response, while he tilted his head left and right to try and picture her with red hair. She was young, so she dressed young, despite her acting older than her age, so she could probably make some changes to her wardrobe as he did, or he'd be wearing a thin top and denim jeans. He had fished for a compliment after giving her a compliment, so it was the case if his bait would be bitten.

Thing was, you couldn't change nature. You couldn't say when you could be born, only wait to come out into the world, so they'd get through it. They had to, and she had already given her consent that she'd follow his orders, though it was not what imagined for a wife, but you never know. What would happen between them depending on both parties.

David

He gave a nervous laugh when she talked about the both of them marrying, he had always thought he would have a year or two of being single. Not that he was the playboy type but he enjoyed having the freedoms of a single man. He felt bad about the curtsy he had never thought of himself in the way to deserve respect as that. But he was sure that if she hadn't her mother would have said something to her later.

"Well Scar it's nice to meet you..." he gave a goofy grin -"God I just sounded really stupid"- he thought.

"I'm sorry if you don't want to marry me. I know I am not anything special. Nothing good to look at."

Had David just heard those words come out of her mouth what happened to this beautiful girl for her to think such things.

"I'm not disappointed at all, You're one of the prettiest girls I've ever seen" he gave a warm smile and thought about putting his hand on her shoulder. But he didn't want to make Scarny feel any more uncomfortable then she already was.

He turned to her parents out of respect to them "You wouldn't mind if Scarny and I went for a walk around the park for a little while and chatted would you?" he then turned back to Scarny "Unless you'd rather not Scar".

Mimmi

Mimmi decided to go back to the spot where her parents had dropped her off a while before. That was when a car pulled up. It was a large black car but not a limo like her parents. The driver came out and walked up to Mimmi, he gave a respectful bow.

"Hello miss my name is Sven... If I may ask miss are you here for the" the man cleared his throat. "For the marriage arrangement by chance" he reached into the inner pocket of his jacket and pulled out and envelope.

Mimmi blinked out of surprise... this man was old enough to be her father maybe even her grandfather. Surely her parents didn't marry her off to someone so old.

The man noticed the awkward look on her face and must had perceived what she was thinking "I am doing this on behalf of my masters son. I'm afraid if he had been entrusted with the symbol paper he probably would have disposed of it" said Sven.

Mimmi gave a small sigh of relief and reached into the pocket of her sweater, after handing the paper to Sven and observing the symbols carefully it was determined that they did indeed match. Sven bowed again and then walked over to the car opening it.

"Sir the young woman over here is who we are looking for. I'm afraid she has been waiting for you to arrive sometime do try to be somewhat courteous to her... if you can manage it" said Sven.

Mimmi watched the driver as he went to open the door, she nervously bit down on her bottom lip and tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear. This was it hopefully he wouldn't think she was an ugly little girl and send her away as soon as he got a good look at her. She pushed her classes up on the bridge of her nose, and nervously shifted her feet around.

Liana blushed a bit at the awkward moment they were having. "So..... I guess it's nice to meet you too". Sage said. A little breeze picked up, and blew past Liana, she shivered a bit. "Your much better then I thought you would be." She heard herself saying. Her fingers grew a bit numb from the cold, and her nervousness. She looked down at the ground, taking in the cracks in the concrete and the voices of the other people in the park. "How old are you?" She asked trying to get into a conversation.

Adam Leroux

He never really spoke to anyone that actually listened to him and acknowledged him before. Most the time, they show signs that they are listening, though they looked bored more than anything which annoyed him, even if he was trying to help them out, help the business out, and most importantly, help his father out. Despite it all, it seemed he wasn't getting no-where, since there was still more things to do, like this whole marriage arrangement.

Though he couldn't really complain, since the one he had was quiet, sensible, does her told, also has to follow what her parents say, rich, sweet, kind, though he wasn't sure if she'd always be that way if she was ever found out by those he works with or his brother to stir up stuff, and how strong she would be. She had quite a smile, and understood what he was saying, even if he sounded boring, doing the odd sport or game while rest of time he was working, yet perhaps he could do more.

After asking what she liked, to see if he could do any of those things, she then responded with a smile and said, "W-well...I like cooking and drawing...I also like to play the piano". All of which required patience, but then again, so did playing chess, though that required alot of brainwork and he was good at it. Cooking was the maids' job so he didn't bother with that. Drawing, well he always saw that as a child's thing, except the work you see in frames, so maybe she was aiming for that perhaps, and as for piano, maybe something he could try, though the thing was, he wanted to try and go out more.

Look at today for example, as the sun was shining, and here they were having a nice walk in the park. Something he would never do, but it was doing something, he was moving about, and he was away from those that could anger or mock him. "Piano sounds good. Is it easy? I've always enjoyed watching the mad pianist with his fingers pressing hard on the keys as if there was a monster behind you, though he looked more like a monster with his teeth clenched and then his mad scientist look with his hair!", he exclaimed, as he laughed recalling an image.

Thinking of images, he then retained his smile, and turned to Akiko, wondering what she would like if she too became a redhead, though then again, redheads were pretty rare as she had said. Striking, yet charming, and wonderful to see since it was a rarity. Well, seemed he was a.....endangered species. The thought made him smile, before asking, "Is there anything you've fancied doing, but you couldn't do it before?", he asked. Maybe he could make her dreams come true, since he was in his good mood, and was her knight in a shining suit.

Sage smirked as she spoke and leaned in closer to Her. "Your deffinitly cuter then I thought you'd be" he tilted her chin up "by the why 17". He let go of her chin and steped away, no longer leaning in closer to her. "What about you your age I mean? 16,17? Or maybe older?". He stuffed his hands in his pockets, looking at her still with a slight smirk.

Liana was shocked and flattered when sage called her cute. And her face turned a light pink when she felt the warm press of his fingers lifting up her chin. "By the way 17." He said. And let go. "What about you your age I mean? 16,17? Or maybe older?". He said putting his hands in his pockets. "Oh I'm 16, one year younger then you." She said with a warm smile. "Hey do your mind sharing your pocket with me?" She said rubbing her icy hands.
