Tetsuo Sohma's Story

Hikari

"Buils that wall and build it strong, cuz will be there before to loong." The gently song traveled through the hallways of the house. Hikari loved to sign especially when the sun was waking up with her. She was an early riser, really she just wanted to feel the suns warmth as long as possible. Of corse from within the protection of the house. Her skin was far to sensitive to be out during midday but dusk and dawn was perfect. Hikari had just come from her garden outside to start cooking breakfast. She lived in a four bedroom house. That she inherited from her late great grandpa shiguri. It had been modified to be a little more modern. But it looked more or less the same. Speaking of dogs she was currently housing the young tetsuo. He had tried to run away from the main house a couple months back. She covered and simply told his mother and the head of the family that tetsuo was here.

Since than he's been living with her, she didn't mind of corse. She'd have done it, would do it for any of the other kids as well. Setting the kettle on the fire before opening the fridge to take out some eggs,bacon, and other things for a well balanced breakfast. Once tetsuo was fed and out of the house she started to clean things up. Having the day off she decided to make a visit to the main house. Putting on dark jeans and a tan long sleeve shirt. Though it was thin material and keep her cool it would protect her from the rays of the sun. To think a snake be this senestive to sun light. Specially since she wasn't an albino. Regardless she made her way to the house and stopped near the front gate seeing someone standing next to it. Though she couldn't make out who it was.



Tetsuo



Dressed,feed and already at school tetsuo practiced his swings with the bat. The baseball field was to the left so the school building in a nice open field. Accompied with a track and tennis courts. Only a handful of other students were around practicing for their own reasons. Tetsuo paid no mind to them, they were other guys so he didn't even know they existed. Swinging one,two,three times at an invisible ball. Sweat creasing his brow and rolling down his temples. He didn't mind however, after all some girls liked the sweaty look on a man. So naive and immature but was the best player in a long time. When leaving this morning he could hear Hikari singing to herself. Relateing to her alot. They both had big dreams. Dreams that would take them away from here.

But just like she was, they were bound by the curse. Gritting his teeth into the next swing his fingers loosened around the handle. Sending the bat flying through the air. Still having an hour before classes. A couple sohmas where in high school with him. But only one or two were in the same class as him. Being the youngest (by barely a year) out of all the sohmas he didn't mind so much. Plus he always believed he was the most talented among them. Sitting himself on the bench using a small towel to wipe the sweat off than resting it around his neck. He cracked open his water bottle and took a few well deserved gulps.

Hikari



She looked at Arion and finally realized who he was. "Oh Arion! Hi there" she walked up closer to him. Wondering why he chose to run around the grounds of the main house. There was plenty of room on the inside. "Yeah it's nice to get out and run, I suppose that's natural for the horse huh" She laughed some before her eyes shifted to the gate. "I don't even know why I came today. Something told me to...I guess that's our animal instinct." Hikari was one of the very few that liked being cursed. Since she liked women as well as men it was pretty easy to come across passion. In her daze the cell phone in the back pocket started going off. "Hmm?" Taking it out and reading the message before her eyes looked to Arion again. "A meeting? Now? What is he thinking...and the kids have school too"

Tetsuo


He stood up using the towel to wipe his face again before walking out on the field planing to practice his throws. One of his teammates showed and they were about to play catch together. But before he could walked to the mound the phone in his gym bag started to ring. "Hikari? She knows I'm here why text me" opening his phone and his eyes widened.

"Hey tetsuo! Get out here so we can play" the teammate called out with his hand on his hip.

Tetsuo put the phone back in the bag and started to change his shoes. "Sorry man family emergency trust me I wish I didn't have to go"

"What but you woke me up to practice" the kid argued back.

"That's because you suck...I don't see ya" he slung the bag over his back, making his way off the field."peace" tossing his hand up to wave good bye. The last thing he wanted to do was have to be near the god. The one that took his dream away. "Tsst I hate him so much" as he walked down the path leaving the school grounds he noticed the cat. "Hey kitten" he teased and stopped in front of her. "Are you going to run up a tree if I bark" laughing some as he teased her. It was normal for tetsuo to not even notice the other boys around including the incoming daisuke. "Hey did you get summoned to this meeting to? This is so bothersome I wanted to play more baseball." Suddenly an idea hit him. "Yo want to piss off yukito? Lets pretend we are dating" his hand went to her chin while his face turned into something more charming. "That'll make him so mad" he chuckled. "Oh wait he might beat me...I can't have him forcing me out of baseball...oh well nevermind. Maybe during off season. After all I doubt you even got a message" he started to walk past her.

Crimson eyes stared at the source of someone calling her name. It was Hitsuji, the ram. She cocked an eyebrow before hesitantly lifting her hand and returned the gesture. Her face turned into a frown and almost into a glare when she spotted a certain gray-haired boy behind Hitsuji. The hairs on the back of her neck stood up immediately and she could feel her lips wanting to curl. It was always the same reaction whenever she spotted him. Although she never felt the real urge to best him, she didn’t like the fact that he was the rat. He was her enemy, and she would forever hate him. Before she could continue her walk, a foul smell entered her nose, and she immediately knew it was the dog.

“It’s my luck I would meet most of the members on my way to school,” she muttered underneath her breath. What she had not planned on was Tetsuo coming to tease and insult her. Her eyes turned into slits as she glared at him. She wanted to throw her back pack at him, hurt him in some way, but she knew better. The last comment he made caused her eyes to falter. He was right, she wouldn’t be invited to the gathering. She never was. She turned around to head towards school when her phone went off. Must be Kenji or Mikoto, she thought as she pulled the phone from her pocket. It was from a number she didn’t recognize, but the two letter words on the message made it all too clear whom it was from.

“Guess I have no choice,” she spoke to herself. She didn’t want to go, but something was pulling her towards the main house. She had no choice but to obey, and with that thought in mind, her feet began to carry her back home. By the time she reached the main building, she spotted Arion and Hikari outside, conversing amongst themselves. She walked around, trying not to bother them. It was a known fact that she didn’t get along with most zodiac members despite trying to. After being confined for so long, she didn’t exactly have the proper tools to make friends. Everywhere she went, she made enemies. Kenji and Mikoto were the only exceptions to this. She smiled at the thought before she entered the building.

Tetsuo walked to the main house. Aggravated that he had to miss practice for this. "Doesn't he know other people actually have lives" he growled under his breath. He saw Hikari and smiled. "Hey!" Stopping infront of her. "Great breakfast today. Then again you always make the best." He gave her his most charming smile before gesturing to walk in. They were in stride together chatting. Which really was tetsuo gloatting about his good looks and skills in baseball. "I'm the best in this city...hell the state" he laughed. "My teammates wish they had my talent. But hey I'm still a good guy I offer to help them"


"No you don't tetsuo. You show off your moves. That's not helping" she said knocking him down a few pegs.

"Haha well that's true, I can't help it if everything I do is perfect. They just have to follow my examples"

Hikari rolled her eyes and let out and exaggerated sigh before giggling. "Well don't be upset if they aren't really your friends. But let me guess you don't need them as friends. Only the ladies" tetsuo blushed when she said that.

"Damn straight, just like I only need.."

"If you finish that line I'm making only kimchi and calamari for the next three days"
Tetsuo stuck out his tounge and shivered. Hikari knew he hated those things and it was funny to watch him squirm at the thought. He would be complaining later about this meeting, tetsuo hated the head of the family. Even more than the cat, or so she thought. Her herself never seemed to have any problems with him. When she was younger she often sang him to sleep, if he liked her voice than that was a good thing. The pair walked into the meeting room and sat down next to each other. She waved to Arion for a moment while tetsuo took out his phone and started looking up baseball stats. "You better put that away before he comes out"

"Like I care" tetsuo barked back in a whisper. His hair was on end being in the building.

Daisuke Sohma

Daisuke smiled as he saw some of the other Sohmas showing up to school. He thought Sunaki was close behind, but obviously she hasn't even left the house. A sudden vibration in his pocket stopped him from walking. Pulling out his phone he saw the message was from Yukino. He wanted everyone to visit him. Daisuke was never one to disobey God, but why did he want people to show up when there was school. He exhaled and saw that Hitsuji was walking back as well. Even Kiyoko was going to the main house. Maybe something bad was going to happen.

He shoved his phone into his pocket and walked in the direction of the main house. He wasn't far behind Kiyoko, but he wasn't getting any closer to the cat than he already was. Why is she being asked to come? He thought to himself. Ignoring his thoughts about the cat, he saw Hikari, Tetsuo, and Arion around the main house. Tetsuo walked inside and Daisuke jogged to catch up with him. "Hey Tetsuo." He whispered almost afraid to be in the house. Yukino wasn't the easiest person to get along with, but he wasn't a bad person either. Although he had this hold on them he was part of the family.

He looked back at Tetsuo and examining his expression. "What do you think this is about?" Daisuke asked.

Kiyoko shifted nervously behind the group as she followed them towards the main room. She had never had the opportunity to embark on such a journey to Yukino’s room, nor did she want to. A frown marred her face as the other members either conversed with each other or stayed silent. Why did she have to be here? It never made any sense to her what the head was thinking or what he was planning. She wanted to stay as far away as possible, but that was never really an option. Perhaps she should feel a little bit more…grateful at the invitation. She was being included into something that normally would leave her alone. When they reached the room, everyone seemed to fall into place, finding their seat amongst the floor. She felt a chill rise along her spine as Yukino glanced around, taking in everyone that appeared.

And then he spoke.

“Kiyoko,” she found herself stating as he called her for what she was. She wanted to say something more, but felt a slight twitch of her mouth betraying her. “I am Kiyoko, and yes,” she paused, glancing away from his gaze before continuing, “I am the cat.” She felt intimidated by his gaze, and his aura; she could feel the shift in his aura as he spoke to her. Before, he had seemed calm around the others, but it was expected for him to be a bit…hostile towards her. She wasn’t part of the original family, so it was natural for him to be a bit commanding. She was just afraid of saying the wrong thing in front of him. One slip of the tongue could force her back into confinement. Although from what she heard of Yukito, being a rather…lenient god, there was still a chance that she could easily offend him.

Sunaki Sohma

It wasn't long when Sunaki jolted upright, but it was long enough to put her in panic mode. It seems she had taken a quick nap on the couch when she was suppose to go to meeting Yukon had arranged for them all. She groaned and got off the couch. She looked at Sora who was sitting lazily on the couch and she rolled her eyes. ’I guess he’s not going...again.’ Sunaki thought before sprinting to where the meeting was held. ’Out of all times to sleep, i slept when we were suppose to meet.....Yukino’s going to kill me. Sunaki didn't want to be lectured by him. He was very intimidating.

By the time Sunaki made it to the door, she was out of breath. Yukino lives to be in the old part of the house which is similar to a maze. She caught her breath before sliding the door open slowly to reveal herself with her head bowed. “I’m sorry i’m late...” Sunaki made her way towards the others and sat on the floor with her hands in her lap, head still down. “Sora isn't coming..” This wasn’t surprising news but it was important to tell Yukino anyways. She took a quick peek around and saw most of the Zodiacs members. Hikari, Tetsu, Arion, Hitsuji, Daisuke, Ryuu, Haru, Kohaku and Akiko. What surprised her the most was that Kiyoko was there as well. She seemed more nervous. Whatever Yukino wants to talk about must be important.

AKIKO


Akiko sat silently in the traditional respectful position, her knees bent under her and her fists on her thys. She watched the others with silent curiosity and a natural calm smile. She didn't mind meeting with the god, though he could be mean and self righteous, Akiko believed Yukino was just misunderstood. She looked over at the new comer and smiled, giving her a slight wave.

"Nice to meet you Kiyoko" She called quietly to the cat, before turning her attention back to the rest of the group. They all chattered among st themselves or silently sulked and pouted about having to be here. She pulled out an old worn red leather book and began to read while she waited.


HARU

Haru sighed impatiently. It was just like Yukino to keep them waiting when he had called them to meet him. She rolled her eyes then looked around the room. Everyone seemed to have something going on except her. Her eyes zeroed in on the cat. She scooted over to her.

"Hi, I'm Haru" She said with a grin.

"Nice to meet you, we should hang out some time" she said attempting to make the girl feel a little more at ease.

Hitsu casually sat down a few seats from Yukino, since the others seats were already taken. Unlike most of the Zodiac members, he wasn't very afraid of him, seeing how he used to know him. Although it has been a while, Hitsu hadn't changed the least bit. In fact, he even sat down in a slightly lazy position because he didn't feel very threatened the least bit. He felt normal, like he was around any other person in any other house. Slowly, he stretched his arms into the air, letting out a small yawn and turned to Yukino, asking with that same grin on his face, "Nice to see you again pal! Obviously, I see you've invited us all here... Not very often you'd do this, am I right? So, what's your motive this time?" He asked, becoming slightly more serious, as heard in his voice and seen in his face as his smile faded just a bit.

While speaking to Yukino, he also glanced around the room. Just about everyone was there. Just about. There was Kiyoko, Haru, Akiko, Sunaki, Ryuu, Kohaku, Hikari, Tetsuo, Arion, and Daisuke. He noticed one of his close friend, almost like a sibling, was missing, just as always, ' Sora's staying home again hmm... Seems like him.' He seemed to have mentally sighed before glancing around again, ' Hmm? Even Kiyoko is here... Must be important an important meet up then.' Hitsu didn't have anything against the cat, being an isolated animal in the Zodiac family, but he knew that not many people liked her, and therefore was a bit startled she came also.

Sora sad still laying on the couch, an earphone in his ear, and his music covering his face. He decided he got too frustrated with it, and was going to give up on the time being. He had no romance in his life, so it was hard to write a romantic piece. Perhaps he could ask someone else that was in a relationship to help him out. Did he know any one like that...? He sighed as he took the music sheets and put them onto the table near the couch and stared up at the ceiling as he thought, 'Everyone's left... It's not as if I want to join them. It's too quiet in the house now... Hopefully they come back soon... I have to ask if anyone could help me out...' He took off the earphone from his ear and got off the couch, "I need some fresh air..." Sora told himself as he headed outside, since he was always locking himself up into the house.

Tetsuo

"I think it's stupid and a waste of time. After all what kind of person takes away school time. It's almost as if they want us to he dumb or something" tetsuo said extra loud for yukino to here. His fingers locked behind his head while closing his eyes. "A pretty self centered act." He barked again. "What about you daisuke. What do you think?" This time he whispered done with his comments towards yukino. Some strands of his blonde hair fell infront of his face. One eye open to look at daisuke. He hated yukino, aside from the cat, he probably hated him the most.


Hikari
Hikari hissed at his comments before shaking her head. "Hey be good or you won't be able to come back to the house tetsuo" Warning him before looking up towards yukino. Wondering why they were all here. But really hopeing he didn't hear tetsuos comment. She could only imagine the games yukino would play with him.waiting patiently for yukino to start the meeting.

Daisuke Sohma

Daisuke looked around at all the other Sohma's sitting before the God. It was a bit intimidating, but he wasn't all that scared of Yukino. Some of the zodiacs said hello like the God and them were best friends. It was pretty interesting to see. Daisuke locked his eyes on Yukino for a moment and smiled. "Hello Yukino. Long time no see," he said to him. He was usually friendly with Yukino. He almost for that Tetsuo was talking to him. He started denouncing God and Daisuke was in utter shock that Tetsuo could say that. Hikari shut him up before Yukino could say anything.

Daisuke ignored Tetsuo for the rest of the time being. He wanted this too start already and he was getting restless. If the the cat is here then it must be very important, but he hasn't spoken. All he did was have the blasted Cat introduce itself. Daisuke wanted to gag. Every time they were in the same room the hairs on the back of his neck would stand on end. Whenever they looked at each other Daisuke would get disgusted. He didn't even conside Kiyoko a Sohma half of the time.[Harsh! :3]

Pushing anymore thoughts he had about the cat his focus was back on Yukino. He didn't want to rush him, but "Yukino why have you called us here?" he asked hoping to sound polite.
