Zane lifted himself to his feet, more than happy when the sprinklers ran out of water. Still, he supposed being soaked with water was better than being sticky with melted slushy. If only just. It was the lesser of two evils, really. The angel yelped in surprise as he was grabbed from behind and pulled to a chair by Angie, falling into it with a wet plop. He stared at her, blinking in surprise. "Huh? But she seems nice. Besides, Violet was the one who nearly fried her just now." Seeing as he wasn't aware of the whole story, it was just natural that Zane would side with one of his own kind.
