Connections
Image Father - Alfred Witte
Image Mother - Elizabeth Witte
Image Sister/Twin - Olivia Witte
Image Best friend - Kael Olivander
Background
"Well, this is me."
Everyone in Hawthorne Grove knows the Witte family name. They aren't known as the wealthiest or most powerful, but are regarded for how talented their family is. Do you need a singer? There's on in the Witte family. How about a painter? Or a dancer? Maybe a businessman? The family's variety of skills is what fuels their reputation around the town as they're in almost every profession, while maybe not topping, they still contribute a great deal. They are the jack of all trades and a master of none.
The werewolf gene has been a bit lacking in the Witte family. Most of the time, only one Witte in every generation has the gene. When Elizabeth Witte gave birth to twins, they had thought both of them would inherit the gene, but as it was, only the younger received it. Jack has had a lot of eyes on her from a young age. The pressure doesn't matter to her much since she knows her strengths and she's confident in her abilities. It also helps that her twin sister, Olivia, is very much supportive.
So, yes, Jack lived quite a nice life. She got what she needs and more. Her family supports her in all her scientific endeavors and she's the third beta in the pack. She's well-respected and people like her enough. The only person that hates her is herself. She can't find a scientific explanation for the existence of the werewolf gene and she thinks that it's an anomaly. They're an anomaly. She doesn't believe that her existence is natural so she devotes her time to finding out the truth behind their biology. And maybe, find a way to rid herself of the gene and give it to her sister who's the one who wants it.

It's only 7:30 at night here in Pennsylvania and the Bloom festival is just beginning to come alive. The bright and colorful lights of the carnival rides illuminate the night sky with an array of colors. The scene from afar looks magical and festive, as if you were in some kind of fantasy world. Different flower shaped balloons rose up high in the star filled sky and floated away with the light summer breeze that passed sending the sweet scent of lavender around the small town of Hawthorne Grove. Down below though, amongst the people that flooded the festive grounds lurked the supernaturals who were keeping a watchful eye over the humans but also enjoying their time at the festival. The festive grounds smelled of carnival food and laughing people who were with family and friends. Everyone was truly unaware of the supernaturals who blended in with them, they would be running the snack stand or the game booths and you wouldn't know because they look just like them. Tonight Everyone's laughing and dancing under the moonlight.

Alexa fluttered her eyes open and yawned loudly as she sat up in the motel bed. The full moon was last night so it took a lot out of her and when she stumbled upon this motel this morning she knew she needed to stay and sleep or risk falling asleep at the hand of her motorcycle. She ran her fingers threw her hair as she looked over at the digital clock that read 7:30pm. "Time to get my ass up and get on the move." she whispered to herself as she walked into the small motel bathroom and splashed water on her face to wake her up fully. After that, Alexa grabbed her black and white plaid shirt and slipped it on her over her black crop top and grabbed her goggles.

She had no helmet because she loved to feel the wind through her hair and on her skin. Heading out the door she quickly made her way to the front desk and paid what she owed for the room and to her luck the person at the front desk was a young girl around her age. Alexa was never good at talking to older people so she put on her little flirty smile as she handed the money to the young woman. " Hey sweetie, do you know how far the next town is?" The girl pushed a piece of her hair behind her ear as she spoke with a slight giggle. " Yeah, actually it's only about fifteen minutes away, you take the main rode all the way down and you should end up at Hawthorne Grove, Also you're in luck because they are having their annual Bloom Festival and it's basically a carnival at night so it'll be lively."

"Oh, so theres like free food and rides and stuff?" Alexa ran her fingers threw her hair once more licking her lips as she did and looked down the main road that seemed pitch dark. " Yup, the festival is really beautiful at night from afar." the girl continued but as soon as the girl finished Alex smiled at her and thanked her for the room and said her farewells. Tala ran over to her bike and hopped on it putting her key in the engine hearing it roar for a second before it dimmed down to a loud purr. " Alright sweetie, looks like I'm going to have some fun tonight." with that the she-wolf adjusted her goggles and took off down the road with a wide grin on her face.

About 20 minutes later Alexa had arrive at her destination. She parked her bike in the packed parking lot and pulled her goggles off letting them hang around her neck as she began to walk towards the bright and colorful lights. She passed under a Huge sign that was decorated with flowers and read ' The 47th Annual Bloom Festival' before she was amazed at the lively sight of laughing crowds and the smell of popcorn that filled the air "Whoa...". Alex has never been to a Carnival or Festival so this sight was magical to her and so beautiful that she didn't mind the bright lights at all. The first thing she did was head over to a food stand and grabbed a free lemonade then wandered into the crowd of lively people, her eyes wide, taking in everything around her.

Josh sipped his root beer as he restocked the stuff animals at the game booth he was working at, at the moment. He lunged a huge panda bear over his shoulder then hung it up on the racks before he continued with different colorful animals. once finished he attended to the people to lined up to play the game. In between stacking the bottles and handing the player three baseballs he took sips of his root beer and watched as they failed at knocking down all the bottles. Josh had snickered at one customer who happened to be a tall young man who noticed him laugh and he wasn't happy at all.

" What you laughing at pipsqueak?" The man edged on and Josh stood up straight and looked up at him. " Um, would you be mad if I said I was laughing at you? If you would be then, I was not laughing at you at all!" The people in line laughed at what Josh said but it only made the young mad madder than he already was. " I'm gonna beat you down little man." The young guy growled as he grabbed Josh by the collar of his shirt pulling him over the counter. " Whoa, Whoa big guy calm down there." Josh looked to the side for a second and noticed that the guy that attended the game booth after him was walking up to the booth. Josh quickly looked at his watched and smiled at the lug head in front of him. " Sorry big guy, my shifts done! Maybe next time okay? Gotta run!" With that Josh squeezed the guys wrists hard making him let go and he quickly disappeared into the crowd.

With a sigh of relief Josh made his way past couples, and families ended up at a food stand and grabbing a bag of cotton candy. He opened the bag and took a piece of the fluffy, sweet goodness into his mouth. He had waited all night to get his hands on a bag of this stuff and when he did he felt total bliss. Josh began to wonder around the lively place eating his cottoncandy looking for something to do or ride.

Jack wasn't even sure what made her go outside that night. It definitely wasn't Bloom Festival. Sure the bright lights, sugar covered treats, and amateurish acts were amusing, but they weren't what drew her out of her lab-slash-basement. It definitely wasn't the variety of flowers that littered the streets. She sneezed for the umpteenth time that night; she'd lost count after the thirty-ninth sneeze. Her hand immediately flew to her mouth, wiping away whatever made its way there and gathering some strange looks from people around her. She glared at them in response and smiled triumphantly when they scurried away. Her hand moved to her nose as she pushed up her glasses, only to find nothing but air. Oh, she'd forgotten that she'd put on her contacts that night. No wonder people got intimidated by her. She wasn't all that intimidating with her glasses on.

A man suddenly walked by her and lifted a handful of assorted flowers dangerously close to her face. "Hey, missy. You want a free flower?" Her eyes widened as she began to feel the coming ons of a sneeze, and she shook her head as furiously. She needed out, away from these wretched flowers. She needed- Too late. A violent sneeze erupted from her and caused the flowers to drop on the dirty ground, soiled. She offered a small, apologetic smile to the man, who looked disappointed and just a bit annoyed. "Sorry," she muttered under her breath as she made a bee-line for the first area not covered in flowers that she saw. She began to breathe easier away from pollens and whatever else kind of poison was in those flowers. "Stupid fucking allergy and stupid fucking sensitive wolf nose," she cursed as lowly as she could, not being stupid enough to let anyone hear her mutterings. Maybe she should just go home. She could be much more productive at home in her lab. But wasn't that the reason she went out in the first place? The lab was becomming suffocating and she couldn't make any progress in her research. To say that she was annoyed at herself would be an understatement. She needed a distraction and she needed one fast. She ran her eyes around the place, looking for someone she knew. And there was! She saw Clayton walking away from one of those juggling acts and waved, calling out his name. "Clay! Hey, Clayton! Yoohoo!" She was making a scene and she knew it, but if you asked her, she would blame it on the allergy getting to her brain. Whatever, it was a festival. She could do whatever the hell she wanted.

"Here you go sweetie," Tiffany said gently, handing a pretty little blonde child a vanilla cupcake she had just barely finished decorating earlier today. Although Tiffany herself had been dreading the Bloom Festival on a surface level, inwardly she had felt the first flutter of giddiness upon reading the sign. She liked people more than she her face ever let on and the festival was an excuse to see the interactions; the smiles, the eyes lit with excited pleasure, the laughter.

And there was an excuse to bake cupcakes and be as creative as she and her aunt Mel wanted to be. This year, they wanted to capture the essence of spring. Each batch of cupcakes represented different flowers and each one was a collection of different flavors. A few were strawberry cheesecake, a few we're cinnamon-pumpkin, some strawberry-banana, and even a few lemon-sorbet. There were a few regular cupcakes like vanilla or chocolate, but each fluffy treat's icing designs were specifically created by Tiffany.

To say she was pleased would be a huge understatement.

"Go enjoy the rest of the night," Melanie said, dragging Tiffany from her reverie. She blinked once, twice before she actually absorbed what her aunt said. Melanie winked. "You didn't get all cute and such just to sit and serve cupcakes. Make me a great aunt one of these days." An intern behind them hunched over slightly, snickering, and Tiffany felt the first wave of gratefulness for having a brown complexion so that no one would see the blush that arose on her cheeks.

"Behave, Aunt Mel," Tiffany chided while taking off her apron. She folded the material up and placed it on one of the bins of drinks they had behind their stands. Throwing off her gloves, she ran a hand through the silky strands of hair that framed her face while the rest was gathered in a loose ponytail, pecked her aunt on the cheek (Mel had nearly cried when Tiff picked that up!) whilst glaring at her warningly, and grabbed a strawberry cheesecake cupcake as she proceeded to leave. "Call me when you get ready to leave. I'll help lock up."

After a few moments of idly scanning the crowd and being awarded with a few cautious looks in return, Tiffany took her first bite of the cupcake. Moist and fluffy, her tongue was greeted by a rich batter infused with strawberry sauce. A second later, a few chews gave way to the sweet and creamy icing and the crunch of the graham crackers she had sprinkled on as an accent. Delighted, she swallowed before licking her lips of any remaining icing, which wasn't much. Directly after that, she saw two members of the pack and approached them, taking note specifically of Clayton's agitated countenance.

"Hey, surprised you guys are still here," she said with a gentle smile.

"Clay! Hey, Clayton! Yoohoo!"

Clayton turned towards Jack, already knowing it was her by the overly enthused greeting from across the crowded walk way. He raised a hand, waving at her while sending a massive grin her way. Ignoring the humans that were milling around, Clayton shoved through the crowd, getting a few angry looks while others just quickly sidestepped out of his way.

"You enjoying yourself?" He asked in a much more relaxed tone once he had made it to her, "I was just about to head out, you know I don't really enjoy these things..."

Just as he spoke, a whiff go strawberry and sugar caught his attention just as he hear the voice of his first beta, "Hey, surprised you guys are still here"

Clayton rolled his eyes at her and released an exhale of nicotine, then removed the smoke form his mouth, "Im surprised I'm still here too. You're Aunt got anymore of those delicious cupcakes?" He asked as he glanced over her shoulder towards the shop. While normally Clayton had no real interest in sweets, the over abundance of smokes he had tonight coupled with the cotton candy from earlier had him hankering for more.

Rotting flesh and blood wafted into the large blonde mans nose just as he was about to crack a smile and offer to grab them some junk food on him and head back to the mansion. He tensed up instantly, his eyes narrowing while his pupil dilated and a warmth of brownish-auburn rushed through the blue of his irises. Clayton turned his head directly to the left; if he was in wolf form his nose would be pointing straight at a nearby food booth where his other beta, Josh, was currently cleaning off a young girl.

Said girl was the culprit of the horrible stench, meaning she could only be vampire.

Clayton seethed, inhaling quickly through his teeth while a crushed cigarette to the ground. He was usually a laid back alpha and had no concern with what his pack did in there daily life. But one of the few rules was Vampires; stay the hell away unless they were in their territory, which in case rip their heads off. The Bloom Festival was neutral grounds, which only meant that Josh was conversing with that thing on purpose...

"Pardon me girls, we have an issue..." Clayton managed to growl out through slightly wolf like teeth as he began stalking towards the food cart and the vampire. He could feel the Change slinking under his bones, trying to to rip through him and takeover. A younger Clayton would have allowed it; he would have Changed right it front of all these humans and ripped that pretty little vamps head clean off. But now, he wanted to do right by his pack. So he resisted, his fists clenched and back rigid.

Jack frowned momentarily at how some of the humans treated their pack leader. Sure, she could understand where they were coming from - Clayton was a huge and intimidating man - but the wolf inside her demanded respect. She quickly shook it off when Clayton reached her and a smile took over her features once again. "You enjoying yourself?" She scrunched her nose and pointed at it in response, knowing that it was answer enough. "I was just about to head out, you know I don't really enjoy these things..." She released a chuckle then, thinking about that old phrase. Birds of a feather... She was just about to offer her reply when she heard another wolf approach them and her smile broadened into a grin. Somehow, more wolves meant a much more comforting scent around them and that meant less allergies.

"Hey, surprised you guys are still here." She turned and greeted Tiffany with a small wave. She was just about to say something but Clayton beat her to it with, "Im surprised I'm still here too. You're Aunt got anymore of those delicious cupcakes?" The mention of the treats alone was enough to make Jack's stomach rumble in response. She smiled sheepishly, but otherwise offered no shame in her body's reaction. Sure she hated sweets, but was food, what was she to do? "I can't stand sweets but damn, those cupcake really were amazing. I could totally go for some right now" Her nose scrunched up at the thought and she frantically waved her hands in front of her. "But nah. They're still sweet. Not sure if I can-" She stopped mid sentence as she felt Clayton tense up. She was just about to ask what was wrong when the scent hit her.

Her eyes snapped to the direction it came from immediately and her stomach dropped. Oh no, was all she could think. She could already feel Clayton begin to rile up and she knew that didn't mean anything good was about to happen soon. She took a step closer towards their alpha, careful not to agitate him further. She didn't touch him, she knew better. "Clay? You need to calm down. Maybe he has a reasonable explanation for this?"

"Whoooaaa! Oh yeeaaahhh!"

The loud, slurred yells from the young man rang in Tiff's ears and made them hurt. She had just about enough with this guy or... guys, to be rather-in-fact. Three guys. All around her appeared age, maybe younger. Young and dumb. All she wanted was a peaceful ride alone on the big Ferris Wheel, and this is what she got.

Tiff had arrived at the festival quite early. Too early. She had hopped out of bed and put her beige/light brown jeggings on, her plain black t-shirt and her black jacket on before putting on her brown shoes and walking out the front door. She wasn't one to care much about her appearance. Granted, she did brush her teeth, put her deodorant on and managed to put her long blonde hair up into a loose ponytail, but that was it. And she especially didn't care what she looked like if she was just going to some festival.

However, the blonde somehow managed to get these three young guys attention, and they didn't even hesitate when the worker at the front of the line asked if anyone would like to get into a cart with Tiff so it wasn't just one person and the line could move on faster. And after about a half an hour of waiting in the Ferris Wheel's long line, she finally got on... with a bunch of drunk boys.

Tiff soon regretted even getting off her lazy ass in the morning and coming down to this festival once the worker cramped the four into a cart and the ride started moving along and they started going up in the air. She sat across from the three guys as they all cramped together in a tiny seat. Sitting in a small, trapped space up in the air with completely drunk strangers was not on her list to do.

So Tiff just looked off to the side and didn't say a word as the guys continued yelling and screaming down at the people once they had made it to the top. One guy stood up, making the whole cart shake a bit, and spat down at the people below. The other guy continued drinking a bottle of beer while the third guy lit up a cigarette... which had a strange stench to it.

Tiff wasn't one for heights. Not at all. She wasn't deathly scared of them, she just didn't prefer them. She just thought she would go on a ride to get away from all the annoying people bumping and shoving into her while walking past her and not saying a word. So she thought just to go on a ride and think for a bit in silence. Of course, why would anything go Tiff's way for once...

So the three young men kept screaming and making rude and flirtatious towards Tiff. She chose to ignore them, not wanting to get into a fight and not feeling in the mood to do so.

If she could, she would rip each one of their throats out with her fangs.

But she couldn't.... because this was human territory. Humans were here. Weak, stupid humans. Some were more annoying then others, but they were all the same. Judgemental creatures who won't accept anyone but their own kind.

And that's when the Ferris Wheel continued moving downwards. Tiff remained quiet with a scowl on her face and her arms crossed over her chest. The guys continued laughing as the one guy threw his finished cigarette out the tiny window so he wouldn't get caught once they exited the ride. She could hear their whispers to one another about her and shot a glare at one of them who reached out his hand towards her face. He quickly brought his arm back to his side and barked out a laugh. She let her eyes roam around until she felt the ride come to a stop. Finally.

"Time to get out! Hope you guys enjoyed the ride!" The workers voice called out as he unlocked the closed door on the cart to let them out once they had reached the bottom. Tiff huffed and stood up quickly, swiping her bangs behind her ear with her hand as she began stepping out of the cart.

"Hey, so why don't you go on a date with me one day, missy? I'm sure we'll have tons of fun." One of the young drunk men called out to Tiff as she began to leave. She came to a stop and turned back towards them, giving them a deathly glare. "Sorry, I don't date guys with vaginas."
She said casually as she turned back around and exited the ride. She didn't even get to hear the man's reaction to her comment as she began walking towards the exit to get out onto the festival grounds again. Her boots quietly clicked on the cement surface as she walked back out into the crowd of people.

But wait.

Her feet came to a stop in the middle of the crowd as she smelled that smell. It was the gut-wrenching smell that all vampires, like herself , hated. True, vampires didn't have sensitive noses like werewolves, but she could still smell the stinky smell of the blood of a werewolf even if it was still flowing in their veins. It would be a much stronger smell if they were actually bleeding, but werewolves do have a pretty strong smell. And she could definitely tell they were here. Somewhere.

Tiff turned her body towards where the smell was coming from, her eyes flashing a light gold for a split second. It only took her a few moments before she spot out a tall blond man in the crowd. She could sense that there were other werewolves there as well, but she couldn't see them over the rest of the heads. They began walking away and Tiff knew she had to follow them and get to where they were going.

So she began walking towards the group, cutting through the crowds of people. She tried to act as casually as she could all while doing so. She didn't keep her eye exactly on the group of werewolves but instead looked around the area so it wouldn't look like she was staring at them. She knew they were after something or someone. Probably another vampire... or maybe they were going after a human. She had no idea. So Tiff continued making her way through the crowd, stalking them, all while trying to continue being invisible and unnoticeable.

Still wide-eyed, Alexa wandered around the festival watching the people playing games and riding the rides. She sipped her half finished lemonade as she followed her nose to a small stand with two women serving cupcakes. Alexa walked up to them tossing her lemonade in the trash and smiling big and friendly. " Um, can I get the pumpkin spice one please?" The older women out of the two smiled and handed her the one she wanted. " There you go sweetheart." The she-wolf took some of the bottom wrapper off before she took a bite out of it. Her face quickly showed the expression of bliss and surprise. " Whoa, this is really good!" she smiled giving the women a thumbs up before she thanked them and walked off still eating the delicious cupcake.

Halfway through the cupcake is when Alexa smelled something familiar, other wolves. The smell has been there all along but Alexa was too caught up in the moment to notice it. Following her nose, Tala ended up bumping into a woman with black hair who stood next to a tall blonde man. It took her a second to realize what just happened as she stared up at the lady, looking into light brown eyes for what seemed like forever, the smell that was coming off her was that of a werewolf. After her realization, Alexa smiled innocently like she knew nothing " Sorry, I ain't see you there." with that she kept on walking finishing up her cupcake.

The young she wolf walked over to a bench that stood not to far from that whole group she just ran into and sat down. Her head tilted curiously as she watched them not noticing the glances she got from other people. Thats when another all too familiar scent hit her, the smell of a vampire. Alexa looked around a bit surprised that she smelled vampires as her eyes fixed on a pale figure that was moving against the crowd of people towards the group of wolves at a fair speed. Again, Alexa began to watch them curiously her eyes flashing that eerie yellow of hers.

Josh chuckled lightly at her interest in the fluffy stuff as he answered back. " Yeah, it's pretty sweet and tasty. Here say ahh." When Maisie complied Josh took a small piece of the pink fluffyness that was left in his bag and placed it in her mouth. " It's basically sugar that has been turned into a big fluffy cloud" Josh smiled at his interpretation of cotton candy as he watched Maisie enjoy it. The hairs on the back of his neck quickly stood up when he felt an overwhelming presence come his way. josh could tell it was werewolf because the smell of his own kind got stronger as he felt the presence get closer, it almost drowned the smell of vampire from the air completely.

Turning around Josh saw his Alpha, Clayton and he didn't look too happy. " Um, hey boss, you don't look to happy, what's up?" Josh sheepishly smiled totally clueless on why his Alpha looked so mad. He rubbed the back of his head nervously averting his gaze to the floor because of how frightening his Aura felt right now. Josh quickly picked up his gaze though seeing Jack and Tiffany behind him and smiled waving his hand to them " Hey Jack, Tiffany, what's up! " A childish smile still adorning his lips as he greeted one of his pack members.

Athena held her brothers hand as they strolled into the entrance of the Bloom festival and she was practically skipping with Glee. The lights, the company, the rides, she could barely contain her excitement. The only thing keeping her rooted to her steady pace was, of course, her brother Arturo. They, of course, couldn't be more opposite. Unfortunately for Athena, Arturo was the sibling born with the brunt of the instincts, his smell, taste, touch, everything was crystal clear. He knew how to act fast and think on his feet. And while Athena was gifted with massive intelligence, her senses were not so great. Luckily for her these "human senses" were only true for her taste and smell. Her sense of sight and touch were still quite vampiric which is as she would say, "All I've ever needed.".
So of course with that being said, Arturo remained the cautious and ever attentive sibling, while she, curious and adventurous. Needless to say that if vampires had the capacity to go into cardiac arrest, Athena is quite certain he would have had his fair share by now.
Athena smiled at all of the people passing by, even if they were her food. She strolled alongside Arturo from booth to booth as humans played games and won prizes, as rare as it may be. Her black hair bounced in ringlets down her back and she adjusted her glasses upon her nose before stopping short. Her squeal of excitement surely gave the passing woman a heart attack.
"Fratello!brother, Look there! It's Maisie! Oh she looks so beautiful tonight does she not? But who is that handsome boy with her?"Her accent was no where near as thick as her brothers, but it was still plainly heard
Athena disentangled her arm from her brother and set off towards Maisie and her new friend, whom obviously was unaware at what she was. She slowed slightly however, when she saw a hulking blonde, ape of a man stalking towards them quite threateningly. Athena looked slightly confused for a moment, perhaps he was mad at the young fellow? That is when she saw the two women behind him. All three, including the boy standing next to Maisie, all had the same demeanor, a predator. Athena's eyes widened even before she caught the faintest scent. They were werewolves. She sped up her steps and reached Maisie's arm just after a few words were exchanged. Instincts weren't her forte, but she had wit and charm, and hopeful both would get them out of this alive.
She threw on her best smile as she reached to take Maisie's arm and draw her close in a hug.
"Maisie! You silly thing!", she looked to the werewolves and smiled while laughing, trying her best not to falter,"You know better than to run off like that! I was so worried mia cara"
Athena smiled again to them, then looked at the large fellow and she swallowed slightly. Perhaps another tactic was in order. So Athena did the only thing that came to mind. She stuck her hand out in front of him, the small pom poms on her sweater swaying slightly as she tried to speak quietly so only those with heightened senses could hear
"Athena DeGari. I'm 375 years old and you are a werewolf. Now that we have been properly introduced, I suspect your intentions with my friend here are ill. Somewhere in the rulebook of nature it states that we are supposed to despise each other, now I have personally never been one to follow rules and I'm not going to bother starting now. You however," she stated looking him up and down unabashedly., "seem just a tad bit eager to do as "nature" intended. Whatever you chose I cannot stop you. But I urge you to think of the repercussions such a display will bring upon your pack as well as the humans in the vicinity."
Athena lifted her chin lightly as a feeble show of strength, but of strength nonetheless. She looked directly into his eyes.
"Now I urge you to take my hand as a sign of good faith and also as closure for the small crowd we've already gathered." She smiled again.

She opened her mouth compliantly then felt the cloudy candy land on her taste buds softly.
She smiled as the sweet flavor of sugar permeated her mouth when the cotton candy got wet.
"Mmmm~" She hummed as the sweet candy covered her taste buds. It was like the sweetness
of the entire world had covered her tongue and roof of her mouth. It was a very tasty experience.
She smiled afterwards to the boy in front of her and tried to reach for his hand, judging only
by where his voice had come from. She didn't hear the older male walk up behind her but
she did hear her friend Athena. When she was pulled away from the new person that had helped
her she sighed. "Athena... I'm not a child." She replied, pulling away only to back into
the large blonde male that seemed to be angry as the male who had saved her expressed.
She didn't turn to look at him she only put her hand out and felt a shirt. It was soft and then she
grabbed a hand. It was the male whom she had run into. She walked forward keeping her hand
in his and standing behind him. 3 presences that were non-hostile and then 1 that was hostile.
"Athena Degari. I'm 375 years old and you are a werewolf. Now we are supposed to hate each
other and I can almost understand why you do, but me and my friend her were just taking in the
sights as it were. There are a lot of humans around and I can only hope it is not your intention to
make a scene."
"Werewolves...? There was no scent of them." She replied, unknowingly
holding on to the very thing she was speaking of. Even though she couldn't see him it didn't
matter. He was kind and that is all she needed know.

They approached the two and the putrid vampire scent wafted into Jack's nose even more. It was so powerful that she was almost tempted to run back to the festival and immerse herself in those stinking flowers. "Hey Jack, Tiffany, what's up!" She waved weakly at him before tucking her hands into her pockets. She could feel a fight coming on and she really wasn't in the mood for something like that. She would just stay quiet and watch from the sidelines, as per usual.

Another vampiric scent hit Jack full on and she peaked over Clayton to see whoever it was. She saw someone that seemed oddly familiar, like she'd seen her around the town before. She couldn't put her finger on her name. Anna? Alisa? "Athena DeGari. I'm 375 years old and you are a werewolf. Now that we have been properly introduced, I suspect your intentions with my friend here are ill. Somewhere in the rulebook of nature it states that we are supposed to despise each other, now I have personally never been one to follow rules and I'm not going to bother starting now. You however seem just a tad bit eager to do as "nature" intended. Whatever you chose I cannot stop you. But I urge you to think of the repercussions such a display will bring upon your pack as well as the humans in the vicinity." The girl's words peaked Jack's interest. In a scientific point of view, Jack found the existence of vampires fascinating. They were just as unnatural as werewolves, but they still made Jack wonder. "Wow, how does that even work? I mean, three hundred years. That's complex," she couldn't help but ask in wonder, her hands waving excitedly around her. But of course, her wolf was making itself known and would not have for her fascination in vampires. She smiled sheepishly and returned her hands into her pockets and kept her mouth shut.

Clayton ignored Jack, paying little mind to either of the betas that had followed him across the dirt covered ground toward the food stall that Josh and the vampire stood at. His hands were still clenched, though from the pulsing stage they looked more claw like with each step he took towards the vampire.

Clayton stopped a few feet away from them, not wanting to step to close in case his wolf ripped through him and tore apart the vampire right then and there. Although he had a hard time controlling himself, he knew how to stop before he went too far. Ripping her apart would not only damage his pack, but would put the town in jeopardy.

" Um, hey boss, you don't look to happy, what's up?" Josh was one of Clayton's favorite, but he was always a little....oblivious. Despite the fact that he was one of his leading betas, Josh was always more puppy-like then wolf. But either way, he was a good guy and from how he was acting probably had no idea that this girl was a vampire. Which didn't pardon him, but Clayton lost some of his anger at him and turned his attention to the girl.

Clayton cast a hate filled glare over the seemingly innocent girl, taking in her timid and 'sweet' appearance with disgust. Wonderful, all Josh probably saw was a cute girl in need of help. Clayton rolled his eyes and looked back at his beta, "You realize thats a vamp right?" He growled out, his shoulders tensing forward, "You know pack rule Ace, that girl ain't for you to flirt with"

Just as Clayton spoke, the smell of vampire intensified and another female appeared next to the original problem.

"Maisie! You silly thing! You know better than to run off like that! I was so worried mia cars"
A rumbling growl threatened to rip out from Clayton's chest, he could practically feel his wolf ripping at his human conscious, desperate to escape and let his jaw loose on them. Clayton's massive form was instantly tense at the sound of her voice, his muscles pulled tight as he stared at them. Well fuckin' great, he knew he shouldn't have come tonight. It wasn't like he did not see vamps from time to time in town, but he was never forced to interact with them unless it was a hunt through his territory.
The new vampire girl and the gall to smile at him, only making his brows furrow more. He stood up taller, towering over her small frame as she began to speak.

But I urge you to think of the repercussions such a display will bring upon your pack as well as the humans in the vicinity. Now I urge you to take my hand as a sign of good faith and also as closure for the small crowd we've already gathered."

Clayton stared into the girls eyes as she made eye contact with him, his withering stare boring into her steady one. He flicked his eyes down to her outstretched hand, already knowing her would not be touching the thing. Quickly Clayton looked back up at her, this time his gaze a tad bit softer. He had to admit, for a vampire she had some spunk. That didn't mean he liked her, but maybe he disliked this one a bit less. His wolf only wanted to tear her head off quickly, rather then take his time.

"Yeah, nature intended for me to hate you, and I for one like to side with nature. I won't be breakin' the territory packed though" He paused, rolling his shoulders to released some of his tense muscles, "I'm just not to invested in one of my own flirting with a corpse. And you can put her damned hand down, I won't be shaking it any time soon"

Tiff was getting closer and closer to the growing "Werewolf and Vampire" scene that was going on. So close that she could finally see who was there, besides the tall blond guy. Maisie. Maisie and Athena. It looked like Athena had come in to save the day. To save Maisie... who was always so pure and innocent and... well... oblivious to some things. But Tiff didn't blame her. She knew her...

That's when Tiff's focus landed on another girl. Another werewolf... and Tiff could smell her too. The dark-haired girl sat down on a bench near by with a cupcake in her hand. She glanced up at Tiff and seemed to be watching her make her way through the crowd. Tiff glanced back at the girl but then quickly turned her attention back to where she was heading. The girl seemed like she didn't want to get involved... so let it be that way.

"Hey, lady! Watch where you're going!"

A hoarse, and angry sounding, voice called out to Tiff as a man bumped into Tiff. Tiff lost her balance for a second, but quickly got back on her feet. Now, right now she would usually put up a big fuss and argument and tell him to watch where he was going instead, but right now wasn't the time or place.

"I'm sorry." Was all she said as she continued walking quickly, not even looking back at the man as she said it.

She had finally got up to the group of werewolves and her fellow vampires, who all seemed to be in a pretty tense conversation. Some with rather fascinated looks on their faces. Tiff almost bumped shoulders with the brunette girl with her hands in her pockets as she went to stand over by Athena and Maisie.

"Sorry to crash the party, but I could almost smell the intensity in the air from a mile away." Tiff said as she stood beside Athena, who made Tiff look short just standing next to her. She seemed worried about Maisie, with that protective look on her face. Tiff crossed her arms and put on a scowl. She really had no time for each one of these people to be complimenting each others abilities and fawning over one another like a bunch of crazy school girls complimenting each others looks.

So there Tiff stood uninvited as she took a look at the tall blond guy standing in front of her. He was tall and seemed to grow about an inch taller as she straightened his posture to look more confident in some ways. She then took a look at the two other female werewolves at his sides, the brunette one with her hands still in her pockets looking like she was keeping herself from talking on.

Then she looked at the outstretched hand towards the male and waited along with her other friends for him to shake it...

"Yeah, nature intended for me to hate you, and I for one like to side with nature. I won't be breakin' the territory packed though" He then took a pause and started back up, "I'm just not to invested in one of my own flirting with a corpse. And you can put her damned hand down, I won't be shaking it any time soon"

Tiff glared at the man, but understand where he was coming from. Why would anyone want to shake hands with someone they hate? She sure knew that she didn't like werewolves and she wouldn't shake their hands even if the world depended on it. She was raised to despise the werewolf race, and she's sure they were raised to despise them. But still, Tiff liked playing with peoples nerves.

"He's right. You don't have to shake his hand any time soon. He looks like he's about to flip shit, anyway. Wouldn't want your hand to get bitten off." Tiff spitted out, all while staring at the blond man with challenging eyes. Her eyebrow raised slightly as she kept her arms crossed and made herself sound like she didn't give a single damn. Maybe that was because she didn't. She just liked toying with peoples buttons, though.

Arturo took in the sights and sounds of the festival, it seemed that the human side of the town was intrigued by the blooming flowers of the current season. Athena it seems was just as interested, her eyes sparkling with excitement more so than the children that were running around the fair. Parents seemed to not mind at all at the screaming glee of happiness from there children as most stood watching and talking about the most unimportant things in there lives.

Arturo kept a close eye on his sister and a good enough hold of her so she wouldn't break away from him. Some might of said that Arturo was too protective of his sister, but since she was the only family he had now he had his reasons. That and the promise that his father asked of him when they had too leave them both.

Everything seemed to change then, the atmosphere became heavier and of course Athena being Athena rushed of before thinking. Arturo used his height as and advantage to see over the heads of people to catch his sisters direction and her intentions.

Working his was through the crowd his eyes rained on his sister and the other, the scent was fresh with werewolf musk and vampire as Tiff joined Athena as well as Maisie who was there first. Tiff seemed to be standing her ground with the wolves, but there was no need to potentially send things spiralling out of control.

He tapped his sister's shoulder and spoke
"Atena, quante volte ti ho detto di parlare la vostra mente.persone potrebbero non apprezzare"
(Athena, how many times have I told you about speaking your mind? People may not appreciate it)

He then moved past Athena standing in front of her as well as the other two girls. He stood up straight his muscle tensing Squaring up to the larger blond werewolf, his protective nature coming into force. " This doesn't have to end in a disagreement, not here anyway. If all of us go our seperate ways we can continue enjoying our evenings without bothering ourselves with...a fight"

Athena let out a breath she didn't even know she was holding. Her head flipped forward as she placed her hands on her knees and exhaled loudly. She straightened herself quickly, her long hair flying everywhere and her smile was genuine
"Wow is that a relief. You don't know how worried I was," she chuckled slightly then she sized him up fully. "It is a shame though isn't it? How cruel mother nature can be? Why if I had any indication that you wouldn't separate my head from my shoulders given the chance, I might even dare to say that I find you quite aesthetically pleasing to the eye for someone so....oh what's the word?", she placed her knuckles on her chin in deep thought and squeezed her eyes before sighing,"Preditorial? I guess." Athena looked to Maisie halfway clutching the now known to be werewolf and tilted her head slightly, her face looking quite sad as if remembering a sad time in her life. "No one's called me a corpse for quite sometime..."She looked back at the blonde werewolf before looking directly at Maisie. "I don't feel dead..." She remembered that one of the wolves in the group vocalized a curiosity in her uncommonly long life span, "I'm not sure that any one vampire knows exactly how it is that we have come to survive this long or how we came into being. But we do feel. We can eat, sleep [during the day of course], rub, paint a picture, compose a symphony, even love. We just have a lot more time to do it in, it seems."
Athena's suddenly solemn mood was instantly lifted however, at seeing her other spunky vampiric friend Tiffany. She smiled brightly in greeting. Tiffany, as usual, was being Tiffany in letting anyone knew exactly how she felt no matter the consequences so in fearing a not so nice retort from the large werewolf she laughed nervously and faced Tiffany fully. "Now Tiffany, Me and this gentlemen were just having a small discussion. There is no need to be rude, he doesn't absolutely HAVE to shake my hand. I am not offended." She turned back to the group of werewolves with a reassuring smile but it fell once she caught the smell of her brother as he sauntered, none too happy, towards the small gathering seemingly orbiting the strange couple and Athena. Her mouth clenched shut as she turned on her heel, preparing for the lecture. "Atena, quante volte ti ho detto di parlare la vostra mente.persone potrebbero non apprezzare"
She let out her breath and stepped closer to her brother, "Arturo, non c'è lotta qui. Queste persone pregiati e io stavamo avendo una piccola discussione. Non c'è niente da preoccupare più. Io sto bene, così come il resto dei nostri amici."(Arturo, there's no fight here. These fine people and I were just having a small discussion. There's nothing to fret over. I am fine, as well as the rest of our friends.) She tried to turn back around, but found it impossible because her brother was now standing in front of her and the other female vampires, protecting her as usual. She fought hard, but eventually lost the battle with her emotions as her eyes rolled at his instincts. "Fratello, ho già disperso la situazione"(Brother, I have already dispersed the situation) She placed a hand on his shoulder hoping it would ground him.

It was actually a struggle for Tiffany to not say anything for a long time. When Clayton became distracted by the smell of the vampire girl Josh was interacting with, she lost the battle to sighing, knowing his temper and attitude towards vampires. Glancing at Jack's wary expression, she followed the two silently. She even managed to offer Josh a gentle smile though he might not have been able to tell that she was smiling due to the fact that she was known so fondly as the "Ice Queen."

Once three more of the vampires became involved, Tiffany's hackles rose. Especially when the blonde made a retort and the male appeared. Hearing the black-haired vampire speak to her brother, Tiffany took a few steps forward, eyes trained on Clayton though her words were directed to the male vampire.

"He's right. The night is young and I for one want to have some fun," she said coolly, voice surprisingly gentle towards the one deemed to be her "mortal enemy." Her eyes, however, held an edge in case the vampire decided to make a move. "The situation does not call for hostility, especially not here. Not with all of these people." She pointedly directed everyone's gaze to the humans, some of which who were idly staring at them. Their hushed whispers were curious and speculating. Hoping that that was enough to get Clayton to calm himself, she turned her eyes to Josh. "Come on, Josh. Clay wanted some cupcakes a few moments ago and my aunt has an entire container for the pack. Let's go get them." She knew that the other Beta meant no harm and that this was probably just a harmless encounter. The vampire and werewolf seemed to have been having a conversation before they were interrupted and she had no doubt there was no hostility there.

But she understood that lines were drawn and no matter how badly she wanted to cross them and end this feud, there was only one way they could end this. And bloodshed was the last thing she wanted.

Biting her lower lip, Alexa rose her hand up, closing an eye as she aimed her finger towards the tall blonde mans face. With one swift flick of her finger, Alexa sent a finger full of icing that came off her cupcake, or what was left of it. She watched as the icing flew with force pass people and hit the man right on his cheek. Once her target was hit the she wolf licked the rest of the icing off her finger before standing up and stuffing the small piece of cupcake that was left into her mouth. By this point Alexa had enough of the wolfs bullying, especially towards her brother and the vampires, even though she knew that the other group were vampires but that didn't bother her because despite being raised to hate vampires, Alexa never really felt hatred towards them or any other supernatural to be exact.

The brunnette cracked her neck as she made her way towards the group, her eyes only locked on the blonde wolf as she did.
"Hey, Fur face is there a problem here?" Alexa put her sweetest smile as she looked up at him her arms crossed. "Shouldn't you be picking on someone your own size blondy?" At this point Alexa's playful expression changed into a serious one as she once again looked up at the man, staring him straight in the eyes with a challenging look but that look didn't last long before Alexa turned her head towards Josh and waved her little fingers at him. "Hello there brother, long time no see, I'll deal with you later, okay?" Alexa said in a cheerful voice that sounded almost scary.

After receiving the greetings from his pack mates Josh turned back to Clayton whose face was the same as before. "You realize thats a vamp right?" Josh looked shocked for a second as he look towards Maisie but then looked back at Clayton with a ' So what' look before Clayton reminded him of the pack rule and his face fell into a small frown. "You know pack rule Ace, that girl ain't for you to flirt with" with a sight Josh answered back " Yeah, I know...Sorry" In that moment another vampire appeared, and a cheery looking one too.

You however...seem just a tad bit eager to do as "nature" intended. Whatever you chose I cannot stop you. But I urge you to think of the repercussions such a display will bring upon your pack as well as the humans in the vicinity. Now I urge you to take my hand as a sign of good faith and also as closure for the small crowd we've already gathered."

Ace gave Maisies hand a light squeeze before he was forced to let go or feel the wrath of his Alpha but he stayed close to her. "Um, we should just go, right guys?" Josh looked around and received no answer as the tension grew between the two. " Or not " he mumbled. "Yeah, nature intended for me to hate you, and I for one like to side with nature. I won't be breakin' the territory packed though, I'm just not too invested in one of my own flirting with a corpse. And you can put her damned hand down, I won't be shaking it any time soon" As soon as Josh saw that hand extend towards Clayton, he was now kind of nervous that his Alpha would freak or something but he was also a bit mad that he called the nice girl next to him a corpse even though it was kind of true but still, it was an insult all the same.

Out of seemingly nowhere another vampire appeared and a rather sharp tongued one too. "Sorry to crash the party, but I could almost smell the intensity in the air from a mile away. " Um, Guys?" Josh was ignored once more as he rubbed the back of his head nervously. "He's right. You don't have to shake his hand any time soon. He looks like he's about to flip shit, anyway. Wouldn't want your hand to get bitten off" For some reason Josh snickered at that comment but tried to hide it by pinching his lips tightly closed as he pretended to scratch an itch on his neck. Again the scent of Vampire came on strong and another one appeared and by this time Josh was debating weather everyone around him was a vampire or not.

He continued to watch what unfolded in front of him, feeling sort of bad that he's the one that caused all this. "Come on, Josh. Clay wanted some cupcakes a few moments ago and my aunt has an entire container for the pack. Let's go get them." Ace turned his head quickly towards Tiffany, thankful that she came up with that idea with his eyes wide with relief as he clapped his hands together stepping in front of Clay with a nervous smile on his lips. " Yes! Yes, Tiffany is right Clay! Let's just let it go and go get some of those-" Right before Josh could finish though a fairly sized of what seemed to be icing smacked Clayton right on the side of his cheek. Josh gulped as soon as he saw Claytons expression dangerously changed.

He turned to where the icing came from and to his surprise it was his sister. He hadn't seen her for two years since he ran away from the island and the pack. The last thing he remembered was asking her to come with him but she never showed up at the meeting place so he left without her. His eyes were wide with both surprise and fear because if Alexa was the same as two years ago then everyone here was in trouble. He stepped back away from his Alpha as his sister filled the spot he was backed away from, he was too shocked and dumbfounded that he couldn't even get out a simple Hi. "Hey, Fur face is there a problem here?
Shouldn't you be picking on someone your own size blondy?"
Josh gulped again but this time he reached out to his sister only to snatch his hand back quickly when she turned to him and spoke. "Hello there brother, long time no see, I'll deal with you later, okay?"

" H-Hi, I mean H-Hey, I mean, Okay! " Josh couldn't help but to stutter, Alexa was still as scary as ever as her presence drowned out both Clayton's and the other vampires dominant presences.

Jack continued to watch on as more and more vampires joined the party. All their combined scents were making her nose go crazy. It was seriously getting even worse than having flowers shoved under her nose, and she hadn't thought anything could beat that. She ran a hand through her face, feeling the terse atmosphere get to her already. "Sorry to crash the party, but I could almost smell the intensity in the air from a mile away. " Jack almost laughed in response at the vampiric newcomer. She kinda liked this newcomer. She had to admit that she had spunk and- "He's right. You don't have to shake his hand any time soon. He looks like he's about to flip shit, anyway. Wouldn't want your hand to get bitten off" Oh no. Of course having spunk meant saying words that could cause blood to be spilt. Of course.

She looked around, watching everyone's reactions. Sure, these were her people that was getting revved up for a fight, but in a scientific point of view, this little altercation was giving her sufficient data on the supernatural's nature. Then again, she didn't want a fight to erupt and revealing their identities to the humans. If that happened, other scientists would want to start observing them, including her! "The situation does not call for hostility, especially not here. Not with all of these people." She let out a sigh of relief at Tiffany. She was diffusing the moment and Jack was thankful for that. Maybe after all this got settled, she could slink away and begin a new phase in her research.

It was then that the icing smashed against Clayton's cheek. "Oh shit." Of course, another person would cause trouble. Was it a genetic trait among vampires? Wait. "Hey, Fur face is there a problem here?" Jack sniffed the air and found that the girl wasn't a vampire. And yet... And yet she had completely disrespected the leader of the pack. "Wha-" She didn't know this girl, but she did seem oddly familiar, and she was showing traits that she had never recorded before. Maybe Jack would stay and watch for the sake of her research, and to help if a fight does take place.

Where were they all coming from? Yet another female vampire appeared before Clayton and the pack, causing Clayton to stiffen from apprehension rather then anger. Sure he was hot headed, but he knew a sticky situation when he was in one. At the moment his wolf wanted him to gather his pack and get out of this vampire invested area, but his ego forces him to remain his ground.

"He's right. You don't have to shake his hand any time soon. He looks like he's about to flip shit, anyway. Wouldn't want your hand to get bitten off." Clayton stared at her as she spoke, his eyes practically twitching with irritation. But, Clay could sense a taunt now that he had calmed a bit. While she may appear dangerous, Clayton had a feeling she would rather not deal with a wolf attack tonight.

"I'd have to agree, you don't want to deal with me tonight and I don't think dead meat goes with cotton candy....though I wouldn't mind a bite" He let a dangerous toothy grin spread across his face, wolfish fangs from his almost-Change still present.

"Wow is that a relief. You don't know how worried I was," the second female said in a bubbly voice, cutting into there conversation, "It is a shame though isn't it? How cruel mother nature can be? Why if I had any indication that you wouldn't separate my head from my shoulders given the chance, I might even dare to say that I find you quite aesthetically pleasing to the eye for someone so....oh what's the word?"

Clayton turned his attention to her with a raised brow, a snort escaping him at the thought. Yeah, vamps were usually attractive creatures. It probably had to do with their mutual supernatural nature, but Clayton knew better then to think about their attractiveness. Better to focus on his bone-deep hatred then their body's.

Just as he was about to take his exit, deeming this over and wishing he had decided to stay home like he planed, a male vampire cut in front of the two females. Where the others seemed more feisty then dangerous, this new male reminded Clayton of the real reason he hated vampires; they were dangerous creatures specifically designed to kill and enjoy it. The male stood up talk, almost the same height as Clayton (which was uncommon).

" This doesn't have to end in a disagreement, not here anyway. If all of us go our seperate ways we can continue enjoying our evenings without bothering ourselves with...a fight"

"I couldn't agree more" Clay rumbled out, shifting back but keeping his head held high and eye contact strong, "You can all just keep your distance and we will keep ours. The humans don't need to see your bloodshed tonight"

"He's right. The night is young and I for one want to have some fun," Tiffany spoke up behind Clayton. Fun, right. He had meant for the night to be a break from all this, not a stress case that was going to end with him spending the next few nights wild in the forest. He sighed, agreeing with her like he usually did.

"Come on, Josh. Clay wanted some cupcakes a few moments ago and my aunt has an entire container for the pack. Let's go get them." Clayton nodded his head in agreement, already taking a few steps back but making sure to keep his eyes on them before the rest of his pack was a safe distance.

Just as he was about to turn and leave, something wet and squishing slapped against his stumble covered cheek. He blanked, his brows furrowing, but he knew it was none of the vampires because he had no taken his eyes off them yet.

"Hey, Fur face is there a problem here? Shouldn't you be picking on someone your own size blondy?"

Clayton turned is gaze down to a young female, werewolf by her smell, that he did recognize.
"What the hell was that?" He growled, glaring down at her as he whipping the substance off his cheek and smelled it, "Frosting? How old are you?"

As she mentioned Josh being her brother, Clay was reminded of his beta whom he had yet to reprimand. He sent a withering glare at the kid, knowing he would get it, and then turned back to the new female, "I don't know who you are or where your from, but you do realize this is pack territory. Lone wolf out on her own shouldn't be picking a fight with an alpha", Clayton paused, glancing at the vamps still gathered, "but I'm done here tonight. It's the festival, and this is technically neutral territory. Come tomorrow if I find you wandering around, then I'll deal with you" He narrowed his eyes at her, sort of impressed that she had the guts to stand up to him but equally as annoyed.

"Now Tiffany, that cupcake..." He grumbled, turned, and stalked away towards her aunts stand.

Louise absolutely adored festivals - Mainly because she's been around a long time and went every single festival there was. Even if she hated it, she still found a way to love it. She was up before anyone else and emerged herself from a steamed filled bathroom, her body covered up with towel. She scanned her room then walked over to her closet, looking for something to where. Louise stood back and tapped her chin, pondering on what to where to this Bloom Festival. With a soft shrug of her shoulders, she pulled out a recent red dress, which she had just purchased, that had black roses on them in different little areas. She also pulled out her black heels and lace stockings. Louise was set now as she did a quick change.

Before leaving the house, she applied make-up to her face and tied her hair up into a bun. Her ears twitched slightly when she heard some of the younger members of the coven leave already. Her eyes fluttered back over to the mirror as she reviewed herself then gave a soft nod while leaving her room and walking down the stairs and eventually leaving the house. She could see the fireworks and her face gleamed up with excitement as she continued on walking towards the festival.

Upon her arrival, she felt that something wasn't right. 'Already? At least let me get into the festival good.' She thought to herself but this feeling pulled her away from her thoughts as she saw members of her coven standing around. She also saw the Kastner's Pack leader leaving their side. Louise walked by Clayton and gave him a side eye then rolled them while approaching everyone else with a soft smile. "Hello everyone." She said sweetly towards them while eying two people that she didn't recognize and her nose immediately knew their scent.

"Ah, werewolves are in our midst, eh? Well, keep your grubby little paws away from my Coven, got it?" She said firmly while looking towards a select few members of her coven. "Now, shoo or fetch or whatever it is you guys do." She swatted her clutch purse at them, hoping they would leave some time soon. Louise turned back towards the members of her coven. "Are you guys enjoying the festival?" She asked with a soft smile.

When another vampire entered the scene, Jack knew that she was the big man (or woman) in the vampiric world. She was Clayton's counterpart and she intrigued Jack immensely. She seemed calm and collected, unlike how explosive her alpha had been just moments prior. She wondered if it was just the norm for vampires. Were all of them cold and somewhat emotionless? Or was it just because this woman was simply so... mature? Either way, Jack would be keeping an eye out for her. She'd be vital for her research. "Now, shoo or fetch or whatever it is you guys do." Jack actually cracked a smile at that. Okay, who was she kidding? She chuckled out loud, and had to cover her mouth to stop her laughter from spilling out. "Like we haven't heard that before, Leech Queen," she commented after she gathered herself again. God, she needed to get herself together. She'd be in so much trouble later if she didn't keep her mouth shut.

Thankfully, the two sides were dispersing and she could make a getaway. Clayton was talking to Tiffany about the cupcakes so that wasn't something Jack wanted to involve herself in. Josh obviously had sisterly drama going on, so she'd leave him to that. She couldn't hang out with any of the vampires for obvious reasons. She needed to find something to do in this festival. She refused to believe that she dressed up and got out of her hermit lab for nothing more than a terse moment and a few choice words. But, alas, she found nothing to do and her human best friend was nowhere in sight. "Well, this is so typical of you, Witte. You're in a festival and you've got nothing to do. Typical." She scuffed her sneakers on the ground and stood there awkwardly, hoping that something, anything, would happen.
