We were PMing each other and from the subject of romance branched two ideas. Bad boy x Good girl and Romeo x Juliet. No, there will be no death but it would be somewhat like that. We would like to thank Shakespeare for his romance play inspiring us to do this. Credit to tumblr for all the pretty pictures.
In the small town of Bannock, Ohio, there lives 2 families. One the owner of the restaurant on the west side of town, the other has one on the east side of town. Divided for decades, these families are completely separated.
Except for the children. There is only one park and hang out area and it sits in the very middle of town.
This is where the families offspring meet up, along with their best friends. The best friends are different though. He's a bad boy and she's a good girl. When morals clash and old feuds are ignited, what will happen of this summer?

In fair Verona, where we lay our scene,
From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.
From forth the fatal loins of these two foes
A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life;
Whose misadventured piteous overthrows
Do with their death bury their parents' strife.
The fearful passage of their death-mark'd love,
And the continuance of their parents' rage,
Which, but their children's end, nought could remove,
Is now the two hours' traffic of our stage;
The which if you with patient ears attend,
What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend.
It was a beautiful day in Memorial Park. Bike riders and walkers were on the track that circled the park. In the very middle was a small amphitheater that had aspiring actors playing out the greatest tale of love and sacrifice. The great William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. In William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, a long feud between the Montague and Capulet families disrupts the city of Verona and causes tragic results for Romeo and Juliet. Revenge, love, and a secret marriage force the young star-crossed lovers to grow up quickly — and fate causes them to commit suicide in despair.
But who ever knew that this very well known play of the star crossed lovers would come to life?

Liam's day started slowly, as if the time was moving like a snail. He had dressed and went to the park. What seemed like 3 hours of running had only been thirty minutes in the real world. He kept running around the park, trying to make time pass faster. He just seemed to move in the world like a snail's pace. The clock ticking on and on but never moving forward. It seemed as if heartbreak just lengthened the hours of the day, making them last like an eternity. He missed her, oh, he did so much. His dear Rose who had left him in spite. He had fallen out of her favor and was still in love with her.
He took his seat on the bench nearby. He was shirtless and his chest was shining from the sweat that had made his skin moist. He sat there to catch his breath and calm his mind, hoping that the woman would stop haunting his every thought and dream. Without him knowing, a friend of his, Brandon, also his cousin started coming towards him. The male called out to him and Liam replied. "Hey. How are you doing today?" It was a small comment but family could tell when they were hurting. "Come on, what's wrong Liam?" He replied, nudging him slightly. "Rose dumped me and I don't know why. Why do girls always say that we can still be friends when we can't?" He sighed. "Thanks, but no thanks. I don't want to hear your insight on love. I just want to run it off." He spoke then went off to running again, leaving him alone.

Reece's day started very quickly. From 7:00, she was up and moving. Cooking breakfast to writing and to cleaning. The girl seemed to be always on the move. When she had finished all her morning chores and finished writing something up for her blog, she grabbed her book, purse and phone and headed towards the park. She wanted a nice, quiet place outside where she could read an such. Before she even knew it, the time had hit 9:45. She sighed and buried her nose in her book which was a book called Tight Knit. Chapter 2.
She’s been planning this all day.
Great. I’m being set up by my grandmother with a girl in a knitting club who doesn’t look a day over sixteen. Gram knows nothing about my taste in women. Or maybe she does…
“Hey,” I say coolly and Talia’s head lowers, shifting her gaze into her lap. The back of her hair is tucked into a wool hat. A pretty fucking awesome hat.
“Nice hat. I’ve been looking for one like that. Where’d you get it?” I try to ignore the fact that Gram is looking back and forth between us like a cat watching a ping-pong game.
Talia looks up. Her eyes are the darkest blue. I didn’t even know that eye colour existed.
She pulled her nose up from the book. She hadn't even read much about this woman named Talia but she seemed to be a lot like the way that she acted. She seemed so familiar yet so strange at the exact same time which was a hard thing to explain. She didn't know why, it just felt that way. Soon, she shrugged it off and then went back to reading her book which would turn out to be like her story.

As soon as Roman left the property of his house, and was on the short walk to the park, he lit his cigarette up. Boy tugged and tugged, trying desperately to get to the ark in which seemed to be the dogs favourite place. To be quite frank, it was one of Romans too. It as better at home, at least.
Walking into the green scape area that often kids of the town hung out at, he glanced around at all the unfamiliar faces, before catching a glimce of one he knew. Well, make that two. Walking up to them he gave a small jerk of his hand in a wave, before removing the cigarette from his mouth and squishing it into one of those weird ashtray that seems to be built on top of public trash cans. He just caught the ending of Liam's love spiel. "You know what you need?" Roman stated to him, before unhooking his dogs leash and throwing a stick for him to fetch. "You just need another girl. Besides, Rose was not your type of girl, she was a bitch."

Daliah was her aunt yes, but ever since she was five she had been living in their house. Her mother and father where always so busy with the restaurant, and had little time to take care of such a growing child properly. So, her aunt offered to be a nanny of some sorts. She’s just never left.
Entering into the beautiful parks scenery, she sat herself comfortable underneath a beautiful oak tree, and opened her bag, pulling out a pencil and her sketch book in which she never went anywhere without. Glancing up from the pristine blank page, she tried to find a good scene to draw, but her eyes caught something else, her best friend Reece. Smiling, she began to sketch the girl who was sitting down with her nose so familiarly shoved in a book. It took her only a quick bit to sketch her in pencil.
Pushing herself up from the ground, she packed up her stuff back into her bag, and made her way over to the petite blonde girl, before sitting herself next to her, looking at the cover of the novel, she tilted her head to the side and let her chestnut brown hair fall over her shoulder. “Is that a new book?” She asked curiously.

"I thought I said-" He had started but then turned around and noticed that it wasn't Brandon. "Roman. My man." He smiled and walked over to him giving him a big hug. Though he might seem really tough outside, Liam was one of those select people who knew that he was a really nice guy. "Oh, and now I am getting a lecture from the guy who scares all the girls away?" He smiled and nudged Roman a little. "I'm just joking." He laughed a little as they walked along together. "So how's Anastasia?" He knew how much Roman cared about his little sister and even though he wasn't much of a threat, he tried to help as much as he could. There were people all around the park by this time. Many had gathered by the amphitheater to watch the play go on. It was at the balcony scene. Where Juliet and Romeo say goodbye for the night. He never really understood Romeo and Juliet but maybe it was because he was living as Romeo. Living as the son of the hypothetical Montague and to be forever in feud with the hypothetical Capulet family. Well, at least until he meets his hypothetical Juliet. When he directed his attention away from the play, he saw two females hovering over a book and a couple of old couples chattering.

As she had continued with her book, Reece didn't get very far before a friend of hers, a very good friend of hers, said hello. Well... not hello. But it was kind of like her way of saying hello. "Yes, it is thank you so much for noticing. When I got it mom didn't pay a bit of attention. I swear I could do drugs without her noticing." She stopped then thought. "But dad would notice right away and anyway, scientific studies show that drugs are bad for your health. It's not just a myth so we don't do them." She opened the book and showed it to Bellamy. "I think you would like this book a lot." She opened it up and began reading allowed.
Most people are just scared of me, so I’ll go with the general consensus.
“How much would you charge to make another one?” I kind of want that hat. I’ve looked everywhere for one. But all the ones I’ve found are trendy and lame.
Gram reaches over and tugs the hat off Talia’s head causing waves of hair to spill messily over her shoulders. Talia’s shocked but she doesn’t make a move for it. Her cheeks flush a light pink.
Is she shaking?
She totally looks like a deer. Completely pure and innocent. I’m wondering what that innocence would feel like, which shocks me. I don’t think I’ve ever been innocent. Not like her. Not truly. Until this moment I don’t think I’ve ever thought about it either.
She stopped reading and let the book rest in her lap. "Bellamy... Do I look like a deer?" She questioned, thinking about the last line. She didn't want to look like a deer but the way that the author describes it, she might would like to be a deer quite much. It sounded like such a lovely existence, well, at least until the hunter's showed themselves. That's it! Maybe Talia was the deer and the boy was the hunter! "Anyway, do you have any new drawings to show me?"
{ June 4th, 2014 | 10:45 A.M. | Memorial Park | Day 1 | 395 }
It was true. His kid sister was more odd out of the bunch. She, despite using some of the little kid lingo or ways of words, was rather intelligent. She wasn’t one to necessarily play with barbies or talk about doing hair, no, she wanted to talk about books or poetry, or about cool science facts no one her age understood. Hell, Roman had no idea what she babbled on about half the time.
“Mom’s trying to push her to be more like the other girls.” He scoffed a little upset. His Mom wasn’t really his favourite person. She tried to do what she thought was best, but what she thought was best was to help herself. She was a wealthy business woman, who saw Roman and Anastasia more as accessories or conversation pieces about how much of a nice person she was because she was a mother.
Pushing back all that was Roman and his wonderful life, his attention was grabbed by the play being put on. Romeo and Juliet, a classic. One that everyone in school was forced to read at one point in their life and to cry in unisons as the Childs love ended in such despair. It wasn’t Roman’s favourite play. Turning his attention back to Liam, he stated “I’m serious though, Romeo. Just find another girl, a nice one this time probably. You’ll forget about she-voldermort in no time.” Roman was silently pleased at himself for the nickname he just gave Rose.
{ June 4th, 2014 | 10:45 A.M. | Memorial Park | Day 1 | 420 }
Glancing over to see the pages of the fresh book, she read along, a small smile playing upon her soft face. Her hazel eyes flickered as she read from word to word.
Once finished, she smiled and said “You’ve really been into these romancy types of novels lately, haven’t you?” and studied her face for a second, before being taken aback by her next question. Laughing, Bellamy exclaimed “No of course you don’t look like a deer! Besides, the girl in the novel can’t be completely innocent. She blushed, and to quote Jean Jacques Rousseau, Whoever blushes is already guilty; true innocence is ashamed of nothing. The girl in the novel just likes the boy. She’s more of a timid or shy puppy than anything. Also, deers can get quite aggressive and aren't super innocent.”
Glancing around the park, she noticed that it was a little bare, probably because it was still morning time. Old couples walked around, almost nostalgically; there were two boys who also walked along with a dog. In the theater, a play of Romeo and Juliet was showing, personally one of Bellamy’s favourites. But then again, if you where into the whole romance thing, it was hard for it not to be. Shifting her gaze back to Reece, she smiled, and pulled out her sketch book and showed her the just recent drawing she drew of Reece under the tree. “I hope you don’t mind, it was just an interesting image.” Bellamy said, pondering the lines of her own work. She still felt the urge to draw something else, but she didn’t know what. To be truthful, it might have been because of the nagging fact of her parents constantly trying to set her up with this boy, and Bellamy wanted to get her mind off the fact. It was a little like Juliet and Paris, now that Bell thought about it. Odd.
