Daemon "Kazi" Kazimir's Story

Daemon whistled and Artemis raced after them, Daemon sat backwards, his bow at the ready, the notched arrow was a sickly green and looked like fire, it being imbued with his power.
After a few hundred meters jumping over what seems to be nothing she disappeared. "It is fine, jump through." She called through the abyss. "It won't hurt come on." She said again all too familiar with reactions to her sudden disappearance.
Shasha merely jumped through the veil, landing on the other side with silence and grace as Caesar looked around, utterly confused as to what just happened.
Lyra stood seemingly unaffected by the run. "Here is the entrance." She points to a dead tree. "I know it looks like a dead tree. Any questions?" Her smile returned.
Artemis jumps through, Daemon is confused about it, when Lyra asks about questions, Daemon immediately asks the first thing on his mind, "what just happened?"
"It is an illusion , making it hard to find us. Though down side is they can hear us." Lyra opened a door in the branch of the tree. "Welcome home." Holding it open for them she smiled.
Within a second Sasha was gone; running off into the distance and vanishing while he entered the open door, looking around him before looking back and looking to Lyra; feline eyes seeming...almost scared.
Lyra jumped in with them after making sure everything was clear. She placed a reassuring hand on Caesar's shoulder after seeing those fearful eyes. As she took a step forward her hand lightly grabbed his and encouraged him on. "It is different, I promise you." Lyra gave him a warm smile.
Artemis ran after Sasha, Daemon walked through suspiciously, he'd been tricked like this before by some kids, 'but that was when mom-' as he thought about his mom, he shuddered and a tear rolled down his cheek, "so...what is this place? Are there others?"
With her other hand Lyra grabbed Daemon's hand. "What, you think I am the only one?" Lyra smiled as she pulled them along, like an excited child. "Earth expanded quite a bit, especially these last few years I have been here." The light was getting larger and larger. "There are many stories of how Earth came to be, you can have the Elders tell them to you. Honestly, it is twice as big from when I was new here." Memories started to flood her mind, both happy and sad, tears started to form.
His eyes slowly shifted, becoming more confident at her touch, and he nodded softly; almost unnoticeable. He followed her without a word; mind racing at a hundred miles a minute; the fear of being locked in a cage again ever present.
Lyra could not help but giggle. "Every place as a few hot-heads." Her smile vanished and her voice took a serous tone. "Be to problem-matic and," she paused Lyra always hated saying this rule. "Be to problem-matic and I have to let the Hunters take you." Sorrow soon filled her eyes remembering two of friends that she had to do that to. "It is not like I like it, so don't get the wrong idea." She tried to stop her voice from quavering.
Yawning slightly Caesar looked to Lyra. "I won't be a problem, I assure you; though if anyone does become a problem for me; I will take care of it myself." he said calmly. "In the meantime.....where am I to sleep? I've not slept for days." he said, yawning again.
"No, I have know if there are problems. That is my job as leader." Her voice getting louder as a sound of rushing water was as well. "I tell you a good spot to take a nap if the water does not wake you."
Daemon suddenly felt tired at the mention of sleep, he'd been sleeping in the trees for weeks, "where's the beds?" he asked tiredly.
Caesar slowly blinked, his fatigue becoming more apparent as they walked further down; the sound of running water seemingly putting him at ease. "Find me a spot quickly....'fore I pass out and sleep right here." he said; half joking, half serious.
"Well, I do not think rooms are open and to find out will be a while." She paused, why did they had to mention it now? "We might make to my little nook by the water fall." The light at the end finally was near and the pounding water was making Lyra shout. "Welcome home." Standing at the ledge at the end of the tunnel the water flowing madly out of a hole under them. The tunnel opened out to a large cave. The hole where they stood was 80 meters up and the roof was another 50 meters from where they stood. "Yeah we can make it from here. There 18 meters down just next to the fall," Lyra pointed to a little cavern hole. "That is my favorite place and is the best no one can reach you. The rock around the fall is smooth making it impossible to get a grip. Think you can jump there?" Lyra challenged.
Lyra could not react in time when Daemon jumped forcing her with him. Seeing the hole was near she pushed off the wall with the water fall pushing them into the hole. "What the heck were you thinking?" She asked once the landed on the ledge of the hole. "I would never hear the end of it if we had missed."
