Daemon "Kazi" Kazimir's Story

"You are fine, you took me by surprise. Which is weird." Reassuring Daemon. "You are mistaken, I have a perfect record and to miss would mean a good long hearing from Sala." Lyra made room for Caesar to be able to land as she too waved him over. "Normally what I would do is have you guys jump from the fall to the pool below."
Joining them, Caesar yawned again, quickly finding a place to lay down; rather ignoring the other two completely as he turned his back to them, Sasha appearing from the shadows to lay down by him to protect him. He was now, for all intents and purposes, asleep.
Lyra sat at the edge with one leg hanging off the side of the cliff near the water fall. Reaching out she let the water run on her hand, soon her eyes started to close. With her hand falling to her side a dragon made of water came out and wrapped it's self around Lyra.
"Well, I don't like water, so I wouldn't do it anyway, I'm going to sleep now" Daemon laid somewhere in the cave, he whistled and Artemis swooped in, laying behind him in a protective semi-circle, he snuggled in and slept peacefully.
Lyra's sleep ended in an unpleasant way. She bolted up holding tightly on her shin doing the best she can not to scream. Looking down Lyra could see an elder lady and by the guess of it she threw a rock. Seeing the elder wanted to talk to her; Lyra stood up the water dragon unwrapping as she did so. Taking a deep breath Lyra dove into the depths below hardly making a sound.
Daemon's impeccable hearing woke him up, hearing the familiar sound of a rock hitting bone, he almost screamed, remembering the pain accompanied by that sound, then he heard shuffling, he saw a figure in the dark, instead of saying anything, he followed the figure.
Caesar's similarities to a cat did not end there; in fact they continued; as he remained asleep despite the noises that woke the other two. Sasha raised her head and looked around, sniffing the air as she stayed by Caesar's side, but otherwise she did not move.
Lyra broke the surface of the water as she greedily took a breath of air. "Nice of you to join." An elderly lady said as she threw a towel on the girl's head. "That freaking hurt!" Lyra wined carefully swimming to the edge not to drop the towel. "I needed your attention somehow." Lyra sat on the edge and made an attempt to dry her long brown hair. "So, what do you need?" The elder handed Lyra a list. "Need you to go pick things up."
Deamon had followed Lyra separately, he grabbed her and her new friend, "this way!" he lead them back the way they'd come, into the safehouse, "jeez, Lyra! what were you thinking! You could've been killed...what's this one's ability?" Artemis walked up behind Deamon and sniffed suspiciously, "It's OK girl" he pets her beak.
"Look, while I appreciate everyone's curiosity today, perhaps a better time to chat would be when danger has passed." Lucius snapped his fingers, pointing them to the new intruder. "You! Griffin-boy! Were you followed? You have to remember who we're dealing with here. Hunters. They won't just let us give them a simple slip in an alleyway."
"I wasn't followed, I know who we're dealing with and we're in a haven...and don't call me griffin-boy, my name's Daemon. As for you, me and Artemis are always suspicious of strangers, so don't mind her if she follows your every move" Daemon walks away, followed by Artemis.
"Well, apologies. Most people I know are dead. It doesn't hurt to be cautious though. As for me, I'm Lucius. And for what I can do, well, it's almost here."
A small shadowy pool began to form beneath Lucius. The pool slowly grew, slowly building into a nearly exact copy of Lucius. The shadow grew in size until it nearly brushed against the top of the ceiling. Lucius calmly reached into his pocket, pulling out a set of Razor-tipped cards and shuffling through them. The shadow seemed steady, whole, yet it looked more like a smoke than a liquid. Small wisps of the creature would slowly rise and dissipate in the air above.
Lucius breathed in, several smoke-like wisps drifting towards his face. The creature began to fade, as more and more of it was inhaled by it's master. Soon nothing more than a black fog filled the area where the shadow stood, and soon that too dissipated into the air.
"Ah," Lucius breathed a sigh. "That, was the Tantibus. My one, and eternally bound friend." Lucius glanced back at the door. "Feels good to have it back. I feel, whole again."
"Now if you don't mind, I have some errands to run."

Lyra beat her head on the wall. "I should have gone over the rules!!!" She cursed herself. "I needed to pick things up!" Answering Daemon's question, her skin paled when she realized something. 'I am going to get a beating!' Mentally wining trying not to let is show.
"You better hope you weren't." Snapping at Daemon. "I don't mean to scold you."
She watched Lucius' shadow form and move in interesting ways that it almost seemed mesmerizing. "Wait," She called out reach slightly. "Do you want to come join us? Be in a place with other Uniques."

Lucius stopped in the doorway. "There are more of us?" He shook his head. "Look, I'd love to, but your 'haven' is out of the city right? So, both of us need a way out. And I'm not certain all of us will fit on a griffin, and I know for a fact that a dragon or a serpent will be spotted and tracked out of here. So, any other options?"
Lyra sighed that question was really old, once cute now annoying. "Can't go over, can't go around, can't go through, can go under." she put simply, a dragon of glass that seemed some what invisible appeared. "Go through the sewers I'll cover you. Don't you dare argue with me, it is my job as leader."
As he watched the two uniques running from the other hunters, Sylchazar saw one of them look up and spot him. Muttering some colorful vocabulary under his breath, he watched them dart into an alleyway before making his way down to the ground, and following them as best he could.
He soon found himself in a seemingly deserted area. Looking around, he checked to make sure there were no other hunters around.
He whispered something under his breath, and a green snake slithered out of the shadows. he bent down to pick it upi and whispered to it, "Go find the, sniff them out...then come and tell me where they are."
The snake suddenly vanished, slithering silently off into the shadows, looking for the uniques.
Meanwhile, Sylchazar left the area to find the other hunters.
He soon found himself in a seemingly deserted area. Looking around, he checked to make sure there were no other hunters around.
He whispered something under his breath, and a green snake slithered out of the shadows. he bent down to pick it upi and whispered to it, "Go find the, sniff them out...then come and tell me where they are."

Lucius looked at Lyra, "You do realize that the closest entrance to the sewers is in that plaza where we 'met', in front of the Cathedral? Look, not that I have any qualms with perhaps fighting my way through several city blocks, and-" He stopped short, putting a finger to his lips.
"Does anyone hear that?" He whispered.
He quickly scanned the room. Trying to find the source of an odd, inconsistent, hiss that seemed to snake throughout the room. Looking to the shadows, Lucius saw it. But for only a moment. A green tail. It quickly slithered into a small hole in the wall, which led to some unseen destination. But he knew. "Perhaps we best get a move on. They know we're here."

"Like I said I'll cover you-" Lyra looked around the hissing was not a good thing. One look at the snake she could tell it was not a normal snake. "Lets take to the roofs, more the light the better." Lyra's eyes darted from place to place until she found what she was looking for. "There is a fire escape hatch there, lets use that to get to the roofs." Lyra ran over to the window, carefully opening it she looked to the others. "Lets go."
Daemon sprouted 4" wings, ripping his shirt, he grabbed Lyra in a bear-hug, "are you used to flying?" he asked smiling, "hold on tight" he flapped his wings and they shot into the air, he glided down to the rooftop, "sorry about that, but I don't want anyone being caught"
Lyra was half way up the escape hatch when she felt arms around her. She was surprised by this and let out a little squeak but did not move, Lyra was all to familiar with flying, she herself liked to fly with her dragons. "I have been doing his for ten years, been caught in the act twice never once saw the inside of the Hunter center." Lyra explained somewhat proud, and slightly mad at herself letting others get into her mess, if her master was here. "Anyway, we need to hurry before they set out the hell-hounds." She mentioned off handed as she look at the buildings pattern, looking for the safest way. Or, "You guys go that way," pointing straight to the forest. "No, matter what do not stop. The hunters will not recognize you." A dragon appears out of no where and wraps around Daemon and Lucius. "This dragon is a illusion dragon, it will show the Hunters you guys as kids."
