Earth! - AKA Navy Pier, Chicago, IL, USA

Evie bit her lip when she felt Dannys arm around here, the next thing Danny said made Evie look up "Really? I would like that..alot...so im really hoping this works out" she then leaned her head against Danny. She then wondered why the train hasnt left yet, usually they were quick about this" she looked around with her eyes then looked to Danny. "Wonder why the train hasn't started yet... they are usually on time about this" she looked down at her watch and she scrunched her face a little "its eight minutes pass the time they usually leave...thats weird huh?"

Danny smiled when Evie leaned against her. She was so used to being the one leaning against someone and never knew what it was like when someone leaned on them and Danny actual likes it. "Yeah." Danny said when Evie said the stuff about the train being late to take off. "It's probably something that has to do with the gang." Danny said looking toward the gang. She then decided she'd better ask one of them what's going on. "Yo, Charlie!" She called over to the group, her arm still around Evie. One of the smaller looking guys turned around and saw Danny calling. He was smaller than the rest of the guys, maybe even younger. He looked lighter skinned then Danny, but darker than Chase. Plus, he looked a little feminine. He had a ball cap hat on his head with the hood of his hoodie up over it. He wasn't wearing sun glasses like most of the others so you could see that he had a black eye, plus he was wearing a bandanna over his mouth like the leader of the gang was except it was a dark green color. "Yeah, what'sup?" He said slowly as he came over, his eyebrow cocking over his good eye when he saw Danny's arm around Evie. His voice didn't sound like a guy, it was more like a girl's voice. Danny asked him if it was the gangs fault that the train was being late. "Well, see, what had happened was he wasn't giving el líder de la moneda, so el líder had to have a pequeña charla with el conductor. El tren should get goin' pronto." Charlie said saying some of what he was saying in Spanish. Danny nodded, only understanding some of it, and Charlie was back over by the group. "We should be going soon." Danny said looking back at Evie with a small smile.

((OOC: Me couldn't help but add some female Mexican cross dresser named Charlie into a gang and make him/her speak some español haha))

Evie watched as one of the gang members that goes by Charlie came over and she was quiet as Danny and Charlie talked, she didnt really understand spanish so when Charlie left she gave Danny a questioning look. When Danny said they should be going soon she smiled "Okay great". She kept herself leaned against Danny and then after a few mintes she felt the train start to move "finally. So you know Chase's gang?" she asked as she looked at the gang then back to Danny.

Danny nodded as Evie asked the question, squishing her nose a little. "Yeah, I know 'em alright. Most of 'em are jerks. Charlie's the new kid. Honestly, I don't even know if the guys know Charlie's a girl." Danny said, starring straight off into space. She leaned her head on Evie's with a small smile plastered on her face. "I wonder…" Danny started in a quiet voice as if she was thinking and trailed off. It took a while, but the train finally came to another stop while Chases gang got off, Charlie glancing over at Danny and Evie with a small wave and nod.

Evie looked at the gang then to Danny "they saved my life once, so not all of them are jerks." She smiled when Danny leaned on her head, she looked up with her eyes and saw a smile on Dannys face. "What do you wonder?" she asked as Danny said something but didn't continue. She waited for Danny to answer, putting her hand over Dannys. She felt the train stop and watched as the gang got off the train, she saw Charlie look over to them and wave and she waved back and gave them a smile. "So what do you like to eat?"

Daniel held onto his bag as he almost had it dragging on the ground on his way to the pier. As he headed onto the pier, he swung the bag onto his shoulder and headed to work. He looked around, watching as people lived on their normal lives. Their perfect happy lives. He looked in front of him to see Chase. Daniel wanted to avoid the kid, but he was standing in the only way to work. Dan swore under his breath and made his way over, hoping to be ignored. Or maybe... Daniel will actually say something today.

((OOC: Sorry I took so long to write this, I was busy with some…let's call them "girl problems" so…yeah I got my post all wrote up, hope ya'll like it))

Danny, smiling, watched as the Gang got off the train. It was odd. The gang acted like total jack-asses and jerks. When in reality, like Evie had said, they'd save the life of their own. Even if they weren't officially part of the gang. Hearing what Evie had said, Danny got a half-shocked, half-confused look on her face. She never heard of the gang saving anyone before, only injuring. Maybe even killing. But never saving. That's what Danny didn't understand. She didn't get that the gang is always looking out for one another, and even though Danny and Evie aren't officially part of the gang, their family to them. So, the gang takes it upon themselves to protect Danny and Evie, and a few others, at any cost. Even if that means losing the life of one of the guys.

"Oh, nothing." Danny said after realizing what she said and hearing what Evie asked about it. Then Danny heard Evie ask what she likes to eat. Danny smiled and almost laughed after thinking in her mind the answer to that question. What ever I can get my hands on that's edible. It was the sad truth about being poor, that's what Danny was. She wasn't just in the lower-middle class of America, she was far below the middle class of Chicago, Illinois, United States, North America. Instead of trying to explain the sad truth to Evie, Danny simply shrugged slightly, which was actually hard to do considering her and Evie were leaning on each other. But Danny managed to do it. "So, how'd'aye save yo' life?" Danny asked in a slow quiet voice.

Back at Navy Pier, Chase was leaning against the side of one of the many buildings along the Pier, watching the lake. The lake looked so wild. The waves were making all the boats splash back and forth in the water, causing more waves to splash up onto the board walk. It was getting windy and starting to rain more. "I hate the goddamn wind." Chase said quietly to himself. He fixed his hood on his head as it kept flying back from the wind. He hated the wind. Alway have, always will. It messed everything up, from when he was little and played baseball to today when he plays basketball with the gang or Ty. He just hated it so much, almost as much as Danny who clams it messes her hair up. Chase doesn't really need to care about that considering he's basically bald with just his brown scruff on his head that he calls hair. Looking around, Chase saw Daniel. The only reason he remembered him was because Daniel and Danny's name is the same, obviously except Danny goes by Danny and Daniel goes by Daniel or Dan. Very complicated when they're around each other. Anyways, Chase watched as Daniel seemed to be trying to avoid him. Chase, feeling the need to talk to someone and stop being antisocial, yelled and wave over to Daniel. "Aye! Yo! Daniel! Hey, man, some fucked up weather we're havin' 'round here, ain't it?" Chase practically face palmed himself for asking this guy about the weather. What the fuck, Chase! Nice way to start the goddamn conversation talkin' 'bout some damn weatha'! Ain't no foo' wanna talk 'bout no weatha', man! Chase thought, mentally scolding himself while looking around as he came and stood next to Daniel.

Evie wanted to know what Danny was wondering about but she didn't push it and decided to let it go. When Danny didn't answer her about the food she frowned because she wasn't sure what to make but again she didn't want to push it. Still leaning against Danny she turned her head so she was looking out the window. She got lost in her thoughts because she wasn't sure what to exactly talk about, all she really knew were video games but she didn't think Danny wanted to talk about that. She sighed and wondered why it was easier for her to talk to guys then girls, maybe she should talk ti Ty and Chase abiut this, they know how to talk to girls so maybe they could teach her something. Next time she talks to them she will ask she decided. Being so caught up in her thoughts she almost didn't hear Dannys question. "Oh ah that...well it uh happened about a year ago..it was night and I was walking home from the train alone. There was two guys following me and I didn't notice in time. They cornered me in an alley and started beating me, about five minutes later before they could do worse Chase and a couple of gang members showed up and helped me out. I knew Chase briefly before that but after that night Chase and I became better friends. Hes always seemed to look out for me, even though he can be a creepy stalker sometimes" she laughed then turned to look out the window as she got a bit quiet again.

Danny smiled, leaning next to Evie. She felt, for at least a moment, peace. It was nice to not worry about anything and to just sit and lean next to someone nice. Danny's smile then faded to a slightly shocked look as she listened to Evie's story on what had happened. It astonished her how heroic a gang that shoots up small stores and gas stations can be. Just listening, Danny could imagine Chase and his gang coming in for the rescue in the baggy shorts and overly big jackets, some of them with their mouths covered with bandanas and sunglasses covering their eyes even though its night. Danny remembered the name she called them the first time she saw them all in the act of committing something heroic. Danny had called the the Ghetto Men in Black. As if on perfect cue, Danny smiled at that thought the same time Evie had finished her statement referring to Chase as a creepy stalker. "You have no idea how stalker-ish the boi is! I bet 'chu he's even watching us right now through one of 'des windows." Danny said, leaning over slightly to glance out the window. She gave out a little laugh before giving Evie a little hug. Then, like the train had plained it, it took of, causing Danny to almost fall out of the seat and onto the floor. "Damnit!" She said, grabbing hold of the back of the seat and readjusting herself, seeming slightly closer to Evie and her hood now off. "That was…auh…close." Danny said with a small smile and little laugh looking right at Evie feeling slightly embarrassed.

Evie laughed when Danny said Chase was probably looking at them through the window, when Danny looked out the window she did also. She couldnt help but smile at how close they were, when Danny hugged her, she hugged back. She watched as when the train started Danny almost fell over but the girl was able to hold onto the back of the seat. Evie put her arm across Danny "Dont worry I have you" she smiled and bit her lip, they where closer now and she noticed Dannys hood was off. She put her hand up to Dannys head and started to play with her hair "I like when your hoods off, I can see you better" she blushed and looked down to her lap but continued to play with Dannys hair, hoping she didnt mind.

After almost falling off the damn seat, Danny smiled at what Evie said, telling her not to worry and that she has her. It made Danny blush slightly, not that you could tell from how dark her skin is, but it she could feel her face getting warm when Evie started playing with her hair. Danny wrinkled her nose slightly when Evie said she liked it better when her hood was off. Danny didn't like her hood being off when she had a jacket on. There's no real reason why, she just didn't like it. Now, if she wasn't wearing a jacket, she'd be fine with it, but she's wearing a jacket. She let out a small laugh and smile when she noticed Evie blushing and looking down. "That's so cute." Danny thought aloud with a smile on her face. It was a little while longer, but the train finally stopped again allowing the rest of the people to get off the train before the line closes for the night and people have to use the subway instead. Danny stood up, steeping to the side allowing Evie to go on before her then getting off the train.

Evie blushed deeper when Danny commented on what she said. Soon the train stopped and everyone was now getting off the train, she smiled when Danny stood up and let her go ahead. Once they were off the train she looked to Danny "My place is a few blocks from here, im glad I dont have to walk alone" she said as she reached for Dannys hand then started walking, the weather seemed to have gotten worse, it was windy and the rain felt colder. "You can borrow some of my clothes when we get home and then I could dry your clothes" she said as she shivered a bit. She became quiet again as they walked, she was unsure of what to say, but she didnt mind the quietness, it actually felt okay for it to be quiet with Danny. It didnt seem like the odd silence that sometimes happened between people, it just felt right. She looked to Danny and smiled a bit then looked ahead.

Daniel heaved a heavy sigh, hearing Chase call him out. Fuck he thought to himself. Couldn't he be more like a ninja. Invisible. He rubbed his hands together and turned to face Chase. They only thing he could think to reply was, "Yeah. Fucked up weather." Daniel nodded and wrapped his arms around himself, feeling a little cold now that he was just standing there. Daniel's long bangs blew around in his face, making it hard to see Chase standing right in front of him.

Danny smiled Evie as she grabbed her hand. If this was anyone else, even a guy, Danny wouldn't go through with the whole hand-holding thing. But obviously, this was different. "Aight, that sounds good." Danny said in response to what Evie said about borrowing some of her clothes. As weird as that sounded, Danny was actually into it in an odd yet not so odd way. Danny thought, confusing herself on what she felt. She didn't care though, it was nice and she liked it nonetheless. Even the silence. Oh, the silence. It wasn't awkward at all, it was nice. After awhile, Danny let out a breath, sounding like a sigh, like she was going to say something, but she didn't. Just looked through the many raindrops causing her to see blurriness and blurry lights of street lights. Danny liked this, the rain and the blurriness. She got lost in it somehow just starring off without a care in the world and a rather blank expression on her face.

On the Pier, Chase was getting a little pissed off. He hated when people don't talk much. "Yeah. So, man, what'chu been up to? You ain't on no drugs or nothin', are ya', man?" Chase asked Daniel as he watched two girls walk by. Acting the way he does around the gang, Chase watched the girls walk by them, watching their asses as they walked away sucking on his teeth a couple times like he was calling a cat over. The girls turned around and wrinkled their noses at Chase in disgust. One of them even called him a pervert. "Maybe I am, mama, maybe I am." Chase said quietly to the girls comment with a smirk looking the girl that called him a pervert up and down. Once they were gone, Chase let out a laugh, finding it very funny how the girls reacted, he then turned his attention back to Daniel.

Daniel turned to see what had caught Chase's attention and stuck out his tongue at the girls as they gave Daniel a quick glance. Girls seemed to like Daniel, but he had no interest in them, so he treated them with disdain and rudeness. He turned to look back at Chase to answer his question. "Well. I was going to work, but now I'm talking to you. I see you in school to I mean.... whatever you see me doing is whatever I do. School work sleep." Daniel sighed... starting off on a rant on how much he hated his life, but caught himself before going on and on to Chase of all people.

Chase cocked an eyebrow at Daniel. He couldn't help but admire the way Daniel shows distaste in girls, thinking it's just a whole part of the kids Emo-Player thing he had going on. Still cocking an eyebrow at Daniel, Chase smirked and slowly shock his head. "Man, you always actin' like you so angry." Chase started, taking his hand out of his pockets and putting them into fist as he emphasized the word angry. "Man, you know what you need?" Chase added, pausing briefly before continuing. Chase then slowly crossed his arms over his chest and smirked widely as Daniel. "Dan-my-man, you need yourself a girl." Chase said. "And I can help you too. See, I just got Danny, you know her, and Evie together, man. Yeah, man, yeah. I ain't just Chase no'mo. I'm Dr. Lahhve!" Chase added proudly. It was obvious he was proud for getting two of his close friends together and that he was getting excited about getting Daniel with someone. Hundreds of names already running through his mind as he thought of matches for Daniel, though it wasn't working so well because Chase just kept thinking back to all his close friends like Danny, Evie, and Ty. Then there's the gang with Charlie, Mikey, Ray, JT and the rest of the guys. Yeah, Chases many friends make up his family. Chase them went off to just stare into space, in a direction that was at Daniels face, not directly, but it looked like it was right at Daniels face, and Chase had this little smile on his face.

Daniel stared at Chase as he rambled on about finding him a girl. Did he not see him just shoo some gils away...? When Chase mentioned Evie, he couldnt help but blush. Daniel did not like that idea at all. And when Chase seemed to have a facination with Daniel's face, he blushed even harder. "Is my face interesting to you?" Daniel asked harshly as he tried to hide his red face. Daniel was not having a good day. Why did he attract idiocy?

Chase shook his head, getting a rather shocked and embarrassed look on his face as he did so, looking straight down and rubbing the back of his neck with his right hand while his other hand was in his pocket. "Uh...Sorry man, that was...uhh...weird. I was just, you, blankin' out and yo' face was just in the way I guess." Chase said quickly and quietly, making him feel very uncomfortable. "Uhh...I'll catch you a girl lata'. See ya'." Chase added after a short, awkward pause. He glanced up at Daniel with wide, embarrassed eyes and saw Daniel's red face. "I-gotta-get-back-work." Chase said quickly after the awkward pause and turned around, heading toward the theater. His hands were stuff in his pockets yet again and his hood was off by now. While he walked away from Daniel, he muttered to himself. "[i]What the fuck, you ass hole! What the fuck was all that shit about!? Fucking starring at some dudes face! He probably thinks you're fuckin' gay or something, man!" Chase said to himself in quiet whispers, watching his feet as he walked.

Daniel frown waching Chase alk off all flustered. Daniel huffed and turnd to head onto work, which he was now late for. In a way, Daniel really liked Chase. His idiocy was kind of cute. and while Daniel was sure Chase had no interest in guys like him, Daniel couldn't help but wonder about what it would be like. Daniel blushed hard ruining ng about it. I'm such an idiot... there is no way that would ever happen.
