Not this again. Aslan ran into the alleyway, expecting a great chase to occur, but came to a halt when he saw the boy sitting on the grimy ground, eating the burger as if he hadn't eaten in years. He took a lean against the wall opposite of Matt. So he is Nemesis, thought Aslan. It did strike him odd that an alter hadn't taken a side at this point. "What does it do?" asked Aslan, refering to Matt's alter. He could sense that it was something powerful, but he still hadn't gotten figuring them all out down yet. Aslan felt a mosquito on his arm, but instead of swatting it, he used his confusion abilities on it. He felt the mosquito starting to twitch.

"Well, it seems that my hand has been somewhat forced. If I refuse I will probably be killed by your people and maybe even killed by them. Since I have not chosen a side yet, yes I will join you." She nodded comfirmation but her eyes became dark suddenly. "However, I will not tell anyone I have sided with you. I will not make it obvious I am with you. I value my life far above the 'greater good' for humanity," she added on. Kiiya's expression made her look less child like, more like the eighteen year old she was. She was happy that she didn't have to kill others like her and her glee only grew when she learned she could kill humans who deserved to die. We're back in buisness baby!
Kiiya brought Beetlejuice up to her lips and smiled behind the metal at the people in the room. Isaac she now knew due to the other old guy's arguements yet she still didn't know the old man's name who had brought her in. She'd come quietly but she was going to leave with a bang. First thing she was going to do as soon as she got out was find some gang tied bastard and kill them in the slowest possible way she could. It would be sort of like a little party for her, a very fun little party that only she and her victim were invited to.
The teenager bowed her head and lifted her torso with a beaming smile. "So, if that handles the important matters at hand I would like to ask if I may be excused to commence with what I was doing before I was interrupted by one of you own? Or will I have to sit through some tactic's meeting and pretend to listen despite the fact that I don't really care?" she asked her eyes gaining more childish light. Kiiya loved being a child at heart; the world was her game board and people were her pieces. Pieces to play with and remove as quickly as she wanted to. She was after all, Nightingale and she did after all hold power.

Henri took Markus' hand and stepped down off the board. The ride left her in a bit of a tizzy, though she did well keeping her composure. She had never known what his power was, and that whole experience... didn't help whatsoever. Still, she got to work with record time, certainly faster then she ever could on foot. "Ever try using that with the wheels on the ground?" Henri mumbled, offering a slight smile. With her feet on the ground, she regained her focus as they approached the building. Reaching into her pocket and removing a small gray cellphone, she quickly cycled through contacts and texted their senior field agent. Isaac.

~Hey Nerd. How late are we? -∞~

Henri had come to accept that she sometimes took orders from a youth. But getting beyond that didn't change the fact that same kid had an Alter that garnered the respect and fear of most Aegis staff. She had never met Cain, but she'd heard enough stories... Seen enough of the aftermath to understand why he and Isaac were in the positions they held.

Surprised by his reponse, but not at all surprised he'd run off again, Rose walked over to Matt, who was quite busy with his food. "What a confusing guy. Maybe he was safe before... Oh well. That damn woman who stole my hat was obviously with Aegis anyway. It wasn't like it was a pointless battle." She stood over him awhile, watching him eat- completely unaware of her or Aslan and blissfully lost in his food. It was pointless to try to question or talk to him anymore. Didn't matter much now anyway- he was already with Nemesis, and he sure seemed confident he was okay. She put her jacket back on tapped him lightly on the head to at least get minimal attention before she spoke again. "Well if you're fine, I'm going now, okay? Good to know we're on the same side," she smiled and winked at him. "If you ever need anything..." she looked down at herself and her outfit. "Well... I'm not hard to find. And surely we'll see each other around eventually if you're with Nemesis, too. 'Night, babe."

She turned to Aslan, who appeared to be amusing himself by mentally agonizing a mosquito. "C'mon you. Let's go get your stuff from under that bench, huh? I don't think you're going to get anything else out of him for awhile." She started back in the direction of the bench and started to think about her little speech from before. The way she spoke about Nemesis... it made it sound like it wasn't just an organization of murderers. That's not how she saw it. It was like a team- a family even- to her. A murderous, violent, and quite possibly insane family, but a family nonetheless. And you had to look out for your family - regardless of how crazy its members might be.

Although Matt seemed oblivious to his environment, less than half the time was he really. He would usually pick up on the important things, at least. He answered the sword-wielding Alter without looking at him. "It is a he." He first stated flatly, clearly offended if only to a small degree. "He does... uhm... stuff." It was difficult to tell if his answer was vague because he made it that way or if he was genuinely trying to hide that he didn't know. Though in truth, Matt knew just about everything about his dark passenger, even more than his Alter would like him to know. But Matt didn't use this to his advantage; he wasn't a leader, he didn't want his Alter under his thumb. He was content doing as his dark passenger wished - for the most part.

"He feeds me." He added cheerily, smiling. He sounded almost proud that his Alter fed him, as if it was a privilege most others with Alters didn't get. He was fully aware of what his dark passenger ate, but he didn't care. He felt very fortunate to wake up feeling full, regardless of the exact contents of his stomach.

He frowned as Rose turned to Aslan to leave. Gathering his fries and shake having finished the burger, he got to his feet and trailed after them. Rose had gotten Matt food - earning his loyalty, and companionship until she demanded otherwise or his dark passenger had something for him to do.

Aslan smiled. "My apologies," he said, still focusing on the bug. This boy was an interesting character, that was for sure. He was glad to have him as a Nemesis instead of Aegis. Rose called to Aslan, and Aslan released the mosquito out of his confusion, and watched it fly out into the night sky. Creatures are so innocent, only doing what they do because their instincts tell them the right thing to do. If only these humans were like that, if only they lived like Don. Aslan walked towards the bench, and tacked his cape to the back of his neck. He seemed to put it in a puddle, same with the suit. How unfortunate. He could dry them with his sword, but that could end very badly.

"When will this war we're fighting end?" asked Aslan, half to himself, half to Rose. He glanced back at the alley to see Matt running after them. Aslan smiled, it was always nice to have more people around.

Isaac nodded at Kiiya's answer.

"Thank you for your cooperation. You are free to go, and don't worry about the meeting. If you need to know something we will contact you." Isaac gave her a small nod and waved goodbye.

'Well, she seems...dedicated twords killing humans...This is why I hate Alters.' Isaac thought. He could hear Cain chuckle.

'That's just how their minds work. Try to think of it as being over protective of their kind.' Cain stated.

'Ha...It seems you fail to share that sentiment. You are just the same as me.' Isaac commented in a calm manner to Cain.

'That is the point of us sharing a body...Well anyways, shouldn't you be wrapping this up? I was hoping to make one last stroll before the night is out.' At that moment Isaac's phone began to buzz. He stopped his conversation with Cain and reached into his pocket. He flipped it open and read the text by Henri.

"We are almost finished. Please hurry up and arrive so we can conclude." He commented back. 'Why is she late? Surely a few Nemesis fools wouldn't be too much to handle... He thought. "Henri is on her way down. She will arrive momentarily." He said to the others.

"Ah, good, then we can finally conclude this meeting. Starting tomorrow we will need to start seaching for possible Nemesis hideouts, and eliminate them. Time is crucial...We do not know what they are planning, so we must learn and learn quickly." Weiss said.

As soon as Henri got off, he flipped the board up into the air and caught it conveniently with his other unoccupied hand, and he followed her into the building. "Ever try using that with the wheels on the ground?" Markus played a smile and coughed, pretending he never heard that. He left her alone when they neared the fountain, and ran the usual fingerprint check and all before the elevator magically came up.

The doors opened and hurried in, keeping the doors open for Henri before going down. When she did, the magical doors closed and the somewhat cramped space moved downwards towards Aegis' headquarters. In the time left he wondered to himself how he would be able to explain his late-ness and what happened with Nemesis. What his rank, so it seemed, within Aegis wasn't all that high because of his sometimes reluctance to do work. He didn't find killing as accepting as other Alters did, his power partly to blame, and when impossibilities got too complicated to handle -- often with murder -- a blinding headache would form. Natural disasters didn't seem so bad, but what use are they when you don't have to mass-murder?

He sighed as the elevator opened, and made his way towards the meeting room.

"David?! Get that table!" He came back to his senses and lazily walked over to the table. "Welcome to Lawrence's Cafe, would you like to try our drink specials?" After taking the order he walked to the back and placed the piece of paper on the counter window. "Rough night, man?" David leaned against the window. "Nah, just tired, Mike. Don't wanna sound like an ass but can you hurry with that order? I need a smoke." After giving the table their food, David walked out the employees entrance into the dark back alley.

"You seem to be running a little slow tonight David." David sighed heavily as he took a puff of the cigarette, sitting down on an empty box. "Oh gee, I wonder why?" Kelliq's playful laugh could be heard in David's head. "Sometimes you're no fun." David smashed the cigarette on the ground and flicked it into the sewer drain. "It's been awhile since we got orders from Nemesis. You don't think they'd go back on our deal, right?" Kelliq did not respond for a while which made David start to tap his finger in worry. "Don't worry, your sister's fine. Things are escalating between them and Aegis. Naturally they would want their so-called, Ace in the Hole, reserved. Just relax. After last night no one should try to come after us. How about you use this time to get a hold of yourself? You'll need your strength for the battles ahead." David stood up and grabbed the doorknob of the Cafe. "I'll be fine. You just make sure we give Nemesis a reason to keep her alive."

"Agents Buster and Possibility, reporting for duty." Henri stood at attention in the doorway, saluting and feigning to herself that either of them cared. Some Alters had quirks, strange quips about their personality that didn't quite fit... Henrietta, while completely aware that the organization was less professionally militant then she treated it, still retained a degree of that unnecessary bearing. As she dropped the salute, she casually stepped over and plopped down in a seat, waiting for a briefing and studying the new faces there. The most she knew about anyone in Aegis were just reports and files, that and what she gathered in passing conversation. Not much at all.

Roth entered the elevator on the 42nd floor of his office, placing his hand on his mouth as a yawn escaped. His eyes narrowing, looking out the door as the elevator doors started to close. "Wait!" he almost recognized the voice of the woman, "Hold the door!" He reached his hand in front of the door to keep them from shutting, gently tapping his hand and then withdrawing. Roth leaned out the door and spotted the blond haired woman that worked in the office just beside him. He hadn't gotten a chance to get to know names, his boss forced him into long hours and he barely left his own desk. "Oh my lord, thank you. I don't know what I would have done having to spend one more hour in this hell hole!" the blond haired lady said with a sarcastic smile. He had to admit she looked rather attractive, but he would never have time to have a girlfriend if he didn't finish the work he already had on his plate. But his shy self did not open his mouth in fear of saying something completely off radar. He stood in the middle of the elevator and kept his eyes on the floor, stopping on one more floor, a man on his cell phone entered the elevator, talking all to loudly on his self phone for the small box in which they where stuck in for the next several floors. Roth hated men like this, the ones who constantly did whatever they wanted without the heart to care for others around him. Although Roth was reserved, his anger slowly started to rise, his eyes on the man with a flame starting to swell inside of him, something didn't feel right...

"Hey dick!" Alexander blurted out, his icy blue eyes focused on the man with an intense hatred. A smile pleasantly placed on his face. The blond woman edged herself to the door of the elevator, shocked by the words that had came from the mans mouth. "What did you just say to me?", said the man on the cell phone, closing the phone with a quick snap. "You heard me loud and clear, numb nuts." Alexander raised his hand for just a moment, biting his lower lip as the effort started to set in. He looked to the ceiling, raising his hands slowly, which was in no case needed at all for the actions that followed...

DING!
The doors to the elevator opened, a blond curl falling out onto the tile on the other side of the frame. "Sorry...Charly. Ha ha." A laugh was heard down the hall on the second floor which was supposed to be closed for renovations. Alexander turned to look at his hard work for this evening. Inside of the elevator laid two corpses, the innocent blond that had entered before, and the cell phone prick. "A masterpiece!" He yelled, bowing as the doors slowly closed. Inside of the elevator lay the mans corps side by side with the woman, most of his bones broken due to what the police would conclude was a long fall. The woman would be the same. Little blood was noticed in the elevator at all, besides the wall that is, where a canvased blood soaked painting of a middle finger. The metal left the blood have the affect of gravity, small line of tear shaped drops smeared down the wall. A list of finger prints from all three of their hands on the wall for the PD to find. "That should get their attention!" He leaned up from his bow and started down the dimly lit hall.

Aslan's question interrupted Rose's thoughts. "I don't know... I guess when those Aegis idiots stop trying to kill their own kind. What do they think is going to happen? Even if somehow they managed to kill all of the Alters that won't allign with them, don't they realize that once there are no more 'bad' Alters to kill, their own members will begin killing the humans? They've netted some Alters whose only reason for joining is the chance to kill. Some Alters are just fucked up. They'll never completely rid the world of that, and the fucked up Alters probably outnumber those who have some self-control like us. If we don't destroy that damned organization then eventually it'll destroy itself, ya know? I... what are you looking at? Am I just ranting to myself over here?" She turned around and followed Aslan's eyes and saw Matt with his bag of fries and shake following them. "Oh..." She smiled, happy he'd decided to come along, and stopped to let him catch up. She turned to Aslan again, "Do you get what I'm tryin' to say though? And I guess to answer your question... not until all of the blinded, naive, self-righteous Aegis are eliminated. It's a shame, too... why can't they just embrace Alters?" She sighed a little and sat down on the bench. She gestured toward Matt, "When have you ever seen such a happy homeless person? Only one with an Alter." As Matt came closer she called out to him, "Glad you decided to come with us. The food good?"

"You're very right," said Aslan, "They've been blinded by their own goal to destroy us." But didn't it work the other way around? If Nemesis destroys all the humans, wouldn't the insane alters go and destroy other alters? "There should be a way for all of us to live together," he said. He knew that would never happen. If the humans can't do it, neither can the alters. Aslan sat down on the bench with Rose while they waited. His legs could use a good rest.

The teenager quickly exited the room and got herself back into the cramped elevator, pleased that she was at least, by herself. As it went up she quietly began to think to herself; that boy had looked at her with something in his eyes. Something like hatred but more muted as if he was trying to hide it. She knew he hated Alters somewhere; hated that they only wanted to kill humans. But he was wrong about her; she only wanted to kill the humans that were in the wrong. Humans that murdered and raped and stole and did disgusting things for their own enjoyment. Kiiya knew that the world would be a better place without people like those, people that didn't even have respect for their own kind.
"Stupid, he just doesn't understand how you think Kiiya. Just take the night off and start again tomorrow," she said to herself as if trying to convince to her own mind. Exiting the elevator she wondered out the doors and began her journey back to her home, glad she wouldn't have to do much to remove evidence of her night out. No dirt on her skin, no blood on her body; absolutely nothing. She'd just go back home and rest for the remainder of her day, waiting for the break of dawn before she went back to sleep.

He followed a little ways behind the two while inhaling his fries, the chains at his side jingling as he walked. He felt no need to walk closer to them, so long as they were in sight. He didn't catch up until Rose noticed him and paused to let him do so. Listening to what remained of their conversation, he tilted his head to himself, making no effort to take part in the discussion. Matt's dark passenger hadn't joined Nemesis to fight Aegis; he had only joined to kill humans. That was the main goal of Nemesis, after all. He had no problem with killing other Alters who got in his way, either. As he saw it, any Alter who opposed Nemesis' goal wasn't worthy of living in an all-Alter world.

Matt blinked, snapped out of his thoughts upon being gestured at and only just noticing they had sat down on a bench. He gave his small smile as if to offer an example of his happiness. In reality, however, he was smiling out of a mild amusement at their ignorance. He was probably one of only a handful of people in the world who would be any degree of happy with an Alter like his. And if Rose and the caped Alter had ever met his dark passenger, their appreciation for him would probably be dashed to pieces within minutes.

He nodded in answer to Rose's question, finishing off his fries and tossing their container into a nearby trash bin. At last, the milkshake. Taking his first sip of it, his smile spread a little. Chocolate. This was deserving of a thanks more than his loyalty and companionship. He shuffled over to Rose and leaned down, since she was sitting, to deposit a little kiss on her cheek, before latching his lips back onto his milkshake straw.

Isaac stood up as the others entered.

"I have heard all that I have needed for tonight. I bid the rest of you farewell..." He gave a nod and left the room, the door closing behind him. Weiss gave a small sigh.

"That boy, he tries to take everything upon himself, and distances himself from others. I wonder what he his thinking." He shook his head. "Oh well, I thank you all for arriving tonight. Tomorrow evening I plan on having you investigated certain areas around the city. There are three areas that need to be searched. The Drifter will search a bar in the south known as a gang hideout. You may take our newest recruit with you if you like. Henrietta, I would like to have you search the docks with Marcus. We have reports of strange activity going on there. Cain will take the last area. That is all I have to say for tonight. Please go home and get some rest. It is almost daybreak." With that Weiss stood up and slowly left the room.

Isaac sat down in front of his computer when he arrived home. He placed a disk in the tray and pushed it in. The disk contained data that he had, 'aquired', from Regen Corp.. As the disk booted up he scan the names of countless folders.

"I have a lot that I need to sift through..." He said to himself. He sighed and begun to search the files...

~Wait, wait, what?~ Henrietta's mind hit a brick wall upon hearing their orders. She hadn't been paired with another Aegis member since being a new recruit, and even that ended quickly. Having to operate with Markus... was that some sort of punishment for being late? Henri had no personal qualms with him, but could only take it as a legitimate insult to her abilities as an agent. She didn't need a partner and never would. "I am going to break so much shit when this goes down..." She muttered under her breath as she stood. She gave Markus her number before she left, not wanting to have to meet up at Regen the tomorrow just to find him.

On the way home Henri took her time. There was still an hour or so before daylight, and Mabel typically woke up late anyways. This was probably her fault. The trail of holes and small craters she left made it pretty apparent that she wasn't okay with being made to work with others. Upon making it back to the apartment building, she made it to the roof and relaxed, destroying a couple of gargoyle statues she wasn't fond of. She wanted someone to blame for the orders, but the only victim to come to mind was Isaac. That didn't necessarily stop her...

~Were you responsible for the pairing of tomorrow's operation? -∞~
Henri texted Isaac. She thought about calling him, but he could avoid her calls... Then again he could also just not read her messages... That thought crossed her mind, but then she realized that he couldn't really avoid her blowing a hole in the side of his house if he didn't reply.

Rose started to laugh at Aslan's comment, but caught herself before he could notice. Instead, with a small smirk she sighed, "If humans can't live peacefully amongst each other, I doubt we'll ever find a way to get them to accept us."

Matt had finally caught up to them. "I didn't know what flavor you'd want so I..." she started, noticing he'd begun his milkshake. "Huh?" Rose muttered as Matt leaned in closer. The smell of him was a little much, but she was much too nice to push him away. She smiled and flushed a bit as he planted a light kiss on her cheek. "Gee, it's that good, huh?" She laughed, "That's sweet of you; I'm glad you like it." Half pleased with the kiss and half relieved, she leaned back on the bench. For a split second she'd worried he'd do something creepy like the stereotypical hobo, like bite her or start sniffing her... but this guy wasn't your average homeless person.

She looked up absently at the sky as odd trio sat together in the park. She was content. Had it not been for the sky turning shades of orange and pink, she'd probably have sat there for hours. "It's almost morning... damn. I guess Amy needs her body back soon," she muttered. She normally was a little more careful about divulging any information about her other form, but she was amongst other Nemesis. And what could a first name hurt? There were probably at least a thousand different Amys in the city. She patted Aslan lightly on the shoulder. "Thanks for your help tonight. Hopefully I'll see you around more. We should partner up for a real mission sometime." She winked at him and stood up and turned to Matt. "Same goes for you." She looked around, unable to stop herself from worrying about him. "You okay out here? Amy's got 5:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., no exceptions unless it's an absolute emergency," she quoted from the note she'd received from Amy herself before she'd left last night, "but I'll maybe see you around here tomorrow? I'll buy you another milkshake if you want," she said with a smile. Reluctantly she turned away from the two and started on her way back to Amy's apartment.

David arrived home, grabbing a soda out of the fridge and sitting down on the couch. He tried to turn on the television to watch the evening news, but it wouldn't. Rolling his eyes he walked over to it and reached his hand behind it to plug in the cable. As he moved his hand around he felt a thin white piece of paper. Grabbing it and pulling it out, the letter told David what he was to do next. He scratched the back of his head and let out a heavy sigh. "What a pain." Grabbing his jacket and heading out the door, David left the apartment complex and hopped on the bus. Looks like they finally have a use for you, David." David looked out the window of the bus and lightly tapped his head against it. "Looks like they found one for you too."

He put his head against the glass and slouched in the seat, his eyes getting heavier as time went by. Slowly but surely, he went to sleep. He awoke an hour or so later to find he was just outside the Nemesis headquarters. "Wow, you didn't deviate from the plan for once?" With no answer back he slowly made his way up to the mansion, pulling out a cigarette and lighting it. When he got to the door he stood at it for a moment, taking a small puff before opening the door.

"See you around, Rose," said Aslan with a smile. Normally Aslan didn't see this much day light, Don might be getting worried. Then again, he might not know at all, Aslan wasn't very sure how this alter thing worked. He stood up, and looked at Matt. "I'd tell you be careful, but I think you know that," said Aslan. "See you around as well." Aslan quickly walked to Don's house, which was pretty far away from the city. Sometimes Aslan didn't understand Don. From what Aslan understood, Don won this thing called the "lottery" which means he fell into a lot of money. But his house was rather tiny, like something someone who didn't have a lot of money would live in. Don just didn't want to be rich, it was like a curse to him.

Aslan arrived at the front entrance to Don's house, and picked up a rock. "This is where the spare key is to get in, Aslan," he remembered Don telling him. He picked up the key, opened the door, and quietly walked in. One who walks into the house is greeted by a tiny foyer, and a closet, which takes up around one-fifth of the entire house. There are two doors on opposite sides To the right is the kitchen, which leads to the guest bedroom, which is where John sleeps. To the left is a narrow hallway, which has two doors. The door closest to the entrance is the bathroom, and the door at the end of the hallway is Don's room. Aslan hung his cape and suit in the closet, and walked to Don's room.

Don's room was reasonably large compared to all the other rooms in the house. He had a double bed at the head of the room, even though no one used the other side since Jadis had been around. Next to his bed was a mahogany drawer, where he kept his clothes (which were lacking variety). Don's laptop, one of the only things he bought with his wealth, was on his desk. It was opened up with Wordpad opened, presumably for Aslan to write down what he did like he always did if something happened. He wrote down what had happened, and ended off with a question he had asked himself tonight.

"Why can't people be more like you, Don?"

Aslan put his head on Don's pillow, and drifted off to sleep. Soon enough, Don's shape formed on the bed.

Oh, Matt was just as likely to bite or sniff someone as he was to kiss them. He had been known to growl and bark, too.

Finishing his milkshake, he stood stroking its container with his finger absently, almost fondly. As the sun began to rise he gave a yawn, briefly revealing some considerable canines. He felt his dark passenger stir at the colors in the sky. Though it's not as if it burned him, sunlight greatly displeased Matt's Alter, and he was never happy to be out in it on the occasion he was. It even irked him to have Matt in it; just another reason Matt's nocturnal sleeping schedule was convenient. He wondered for a moment why his Alter hadn't eaten the past two nights, and subconsciously chided him for it. But he only got a small headache in return, the sudden onset of it making him wince. His dark passenger sometimes didn't like being told what to do, or even being scolded for that matter.

He was snapped out of his thoughts by Rose. Blinking, he rubbed his head, gaze drifting downwards. He did not owe his loyalty or companionship to this Amy, and didn't know her at all either. She probably would not want him sleeping under her bed as he did on the occasion someone let him stay the night. "... Okay." He said quietly. He turned from the caped Alter and Rose as they left to gaze about and get his bearings. There was another park not far from here where he knew he could find a cluster of bushes to sleep safely in; but he had left his blanket in the abandoned warehouse where he had slept the day before. He never slept without his Legos comforter - he would have to trudge all the way to that warehouse to retrieve it, and then trudge to the park near here so he wouldn't be late meeting Rose in the evening. He made a soft, weary moan. It looked like he was going to get to bed late tonight.

Kiiya walked up the steps and unlocked the door to her home from a key around her neck. She didn't trust leaving it unlocked while humans were running rampant with those thoughts in their heads. The bad ones at least, they were the worst.
With a yawn she kicked her white heels off into the closet and shut the door with her hip while she began to check the house for any signs of intrusion. She hummed while she did so; knocking her hands on the windows and tugging at them to make sure they were locked. Kiiya was the only one who was allowed to open the windows and leave them open; not even her other half trusted open windows. The eighteen year old sighed; she'd caused her other self so many problems and helped her develop so many phobias. Were Alters really the right side of humanity or the wrong? She bit on her lip hard and pressed her forehead to the glass pane of the window. If Alters were the right they wouldn't fight other Alters, wouldn't want to kill every human being. If Alters were the wrong they would be doing what they were doing now, killing off humans who were innocent just to they themselves could exist.
What does that make me? Kiiya thought sadly as she pushed away from the window and made her way up the stairs to the bedroom. She watched her feet move as she climbed and thought about with her other half might of thought about her. She probably thought Kiiya was a murderer; a no good living thing that she wished extinguished from life. Why did she feel she slightly agreed with it?
The teenager paused at the side of the bed and looked down at the note resting on the table. She picked it up and quickly scanned her dark eyes over the words. She'd make it right; she'd make her other half know she wasn't one of the bad ones.

My name is Kiiya. Nice to finally get some word from you Kyou. I promise, I'm not doing anything bad with your body; not at all. I use it to remove all the horrible, viscous humans from this planet. I even joined a group called Aegis to protect innocent humans like you Kyou. So, do you believe me or will I have to prove it to you somehow. I swear, whatever it takes to earn your trust, I'll do it.

She set down the notebook and lay in the bed watching the moon outside the window. This time, she wouldn't leave it open. She wanted this 'Kyou' to trust her, so she would make it seem like she did nothing at night until Kyou left the windows and doors open for her. With the thought she walked over to the bedroom door and locked it. "This is for you."

Isaac paused when he heard his phone ring. He flipped it open and saw he had another message from Henrietta.

"It seems she is irritated about having to work with others...She should know there is safety in numbers." Isaac sent a message back:

"No...That was Weiss' idea, and you will have to accept it. I know you can handle this on your own, but we are just trying to be carefull." Isaac sighed. He knew he was getting no sleep tonight, seeing as he was dedicated to researching the data. While looking at the computer screen his eyes shifted to a small bell laying on his desk. He picked it up and held it to the light.

'I always see you staring at that bell...What is it?' Cain asked. Isaac frowned a little.

'It belonged to someone very important to me. Unfortunately, I can't remember her very well...It was a long time ago she gave me this.' Isaac replied.

'Huh, she must not have been that important if you forgot about her... Cain commented in a joking manner. Isaac grunted as he set the bell down.

'No! It's not like that! I...I don't know what happened. It's all fuzzy...' Isaac shook his head and continued his research. He then paused, and his eyes widened. "Wait...This is...Yes, yes! This will be perfect! With this..." Isaac laughed as he stared at the contents of a file labled 'Novo Ruina Project'.

"This world...is pathetic in its current state. Corrupt, unjust. Where everyone preys on their bretheren to survive. I hate it." Silvance, the Unyielding Force, clenched his fist as he spoke. He stepped out into the road, trying to cross to the other side, when a car rushed up, the driver slamming his brakes to avoid hitting him. The driver stuck his head out of the window.

"Hey! Asshole! What the hell are you doing walking out into the street you stupid drunk! I shoulda just ran you over!" He yelled. Silvance's eyes fell on the man.

"I...hate people like you. All of you, should just die!" He held is hand up, and the car flattened like a tin can, along with the street being destroyed. "Soon, I will rid this world of all of you." With those words Silvance continued across the street, making his way to the edge of town to Crane Manor. The other members of his group, Nemesis, would arrive shortly, and he hated to be late.

"Weiss? Grr..." Henri kicked a rock hard off the roof, satisfied with the sound it made breaking a window nearby. The only thing she hated more then taking orders from a teenager was taking them from that old fart. He, as well as his intentions, was entirely a mystery to her. He fought for justice, and for the righteous treatment of humans, but what justification did that give him to call out hired hits? ~Terrific, but not really helping. Where's the careful for you? -∞~ She already knew the answer. Isaac had all the careful he needed- he had Cain. Cain ran almost ever mission solo, left piles of bodies in his wake. Henri was precise, efficient... but she wasn't a wall of bullets. As far as anyone knew, Cain was.
