Kiiya brought Beetlejuice up to her lips and smiled behind the metal at the people in the room. Isaac she now knew due to the other old guy's arguements yet she still didn't know the old man's name who had brought her in. She'd come quietly but she was going to leave with a bang. First thing she was going to do as soon as she got out was find some gang tied bastard and kill them in the slowest possible way she could. It would be sort of like a little party for her, a very fun little party that only she and her victim were invited to.
The teenager bowed her head and lifted her torso with a beaming smile. "So, if that handles the important matters at hand I would like to ask if I may be excused to commence with what I was doing before I was interrupted by one of you own? Or will I have to sit through some tactic's meeting and pretend to listen despite the fact that I don't really care?" she asked her eyes gaining more childish light. Kiiya loved being a child at heart; the world was her game board and people were her pieces. Pieces to play with and remove as quickly as she wanted to. She was after all, Nightingale and she did after all hold power.

~Hey Nerd. How late are we? -∞~
Henri had come to accept that she sometimes took orders from a youth. But getting beyond that didn't change the fact that same kid had an Alter that garnered the respect and fear of most Aegis staff. She had never met Cain, but she'd heard enough stories... Seen enough of the aftermath to understand why he and Isaac were in the positions they held.

She turned to Aslan, who appeared to be amusing himself by mentally agonizing a mosquito. "C'mon you. Let's go get your stuff from under that bench, huh? I don't think you're going to get anything else out of him for awhile." She started back in the direction of the bench and started to think about her little speech from before. The way she spoke about Nemesis... it made it sound like it wasn't just an organization of murderers. That's not how she saw it. It was like a team- a family even- to her. A murderous, violent, and quite possibly insane family, but a family nonetheless. And you had to look out for your family - regardless of how crazy its members might be.

"He feeds me." He added cheerily, smiling. He sounded almost proud that his Alter fed him, as if it was a privilege most others with Alters didn't get. He was fully aware of what his dark passenger ate, but he didn't care. He felt very fortunate to wake up feeling full, regardless of the exact contents of his stomach.
He frowned as Rose turned to Aslan to leave. Gathering his fries and shake having finished the burger, he got to his feet and trailed after them. Rose had gotten Matt food - earning his loyalty, and companionship until she demanded otherwise or his dark passenger had something for him to do.

"When will this war we're fighting end?" asked Aslan, half to himself, half to Rose. He glanced back at the alley to see Matt running after them. Aslan smiled, it was always nice to have more people around.

"Thank you for your cooperation. You are free to go, and don't worry about the meeting. If you need to know something we will contact you." Isaac gave her a small nod and waved goodbye.
'Well, she seems...dedicated twords killing humans...This is why I hate Alters.' Isaac thought. He could hear Cain chuckle.
'That's just how their minds work. Try to think of it as being over protective of their kind.' Cain stated.
'Ha...It seems you fail to share that sentiment. You are just the same as me.' Isaac commented in a calm manner to Cain.
'That is the point of us sharing a body...Well anyways, shouldn't you be wrapping this up? I was hoping to make one last stroll before the night is out.' At that moment Isaac's phone began to buzz. He stopped his conversation with Cain and reached into his pocket. He flipped it open and read the text by Henri.
"We are almost finished. Please hurry up and arrive so we can conclude." He commented back. 'Why is she late? Surely a few Nemesis fools wouldn't be too much to handle... He thought. "Henri is on her way down. She will arrive momentarily." He said to the others.
"Ah, good, then we can finally conclude this meeting. Starting tomorrow we will need to start seaching for possible Nemesis hideouts, and eliminate them. Time is crucial...We do not know what they are planning, so we must learn and learn quickly." Weiss said.

The doors opened and hurried in, keeping the doors open for Henri before going down. When she did, the magical doors closed and the somewhat cramped space moved downwards towards Aegis' headquarters. In the time left he wondered to himself how he would be able to explain his late-ness and what happened with Nemesis. What his rank, so it seemed, within Aegis wasn't all that high because of his sometimes reluctance to do work. He didn't find killing as accepting as other Alters did, his power partly to blame, and when impossibilities got too complicated to handle -- often with murder -- a blinding headache would form. Natural disasters didn't seem so bad, but what use are they when you don't have to mass-murder?
He sighed as the elevator opened, and made his way towards the meeting room.

"You seem to be running a little slow tonight David." David sighed heavily as he took a puff of the cigarette, sitting down on an empty box. "Oh gee, I wonder why?" Kelliq's playful laugh could be heard in David's head. "Sometimes you're no fun." David smashed the cigarette on the ground and flicked it into the sewer drain. "It's been awhile since we got orders from Nemesis. You don't think they'd go back on our deal, right?" Kelliq did not respond for a while which made David start to tap his finger in worry. "Don't worry, your sister's fine. Things are escalating between them and Aegis. Naturally they would want their so-called, Ace in the Hole, reserved. Just relax. After last night no one should try to come after us. How about you use this time to get a hold of yourself? You'll need your strength for the battles ahead." David stood up and grabbed the doorknob of the Cafe. "I'll be fine. You just make sure we give Nemesis a reason to keep her alive."

"Hey dick!" Alexander blurted out, his icy blue eyes focused on the man with an intense hatred. A smile pleasantly placed on his face. The blond woman edged herself to the door of the elevator, shocked by the words that had came from the mans mouth. "What did you just say to me?", said the man on the cell phone, closing the phone with a quick snap. "You heard me loud and clear, numb nuts." Alexander raised his hand for just a moment, biting his lower lip as the effort started to set in. He looked to the ceiling, raising his hands slowly, which was in no case needed at all for the actions that followed...
DING!
The doors to the elevator opened, a blond curl falling out onto the tile on the other side of the frame. "Sorry...Charly. Ha ha." A laugh was heard down the hall on the second floor which was supposed to be closed for renovations. Alexander turned to look at his hard work for this evening. Inside of the elevator laid two corpses, the innocent blond that had entered before, and the cell phone prick. "A masterpiece!" He yelled, bowing as the doors slowly closed. Inside of the elevator lay the mans corps side by side with the woman, most of his bones broken due to what the police would conclude was a long fall. The woman would be the same. Little blood was noticed in the elevator at all, besides the wall that is, where a canvased blood soaked painting of a middle finger. The metal left the blood have the affect of gravity, small line of tear shaped drops smeared down the wall. A list of finger prints from all three of their hands on the wall for the PD to find. "That should get their attention!" He leaned up from his bow and started down the dimly lit hall.

"Stupid, he just doesn't understand how you think Kiiya. Just take the night off and start again tomorrow," she said to herself as if trying to convince to her own mind. Exiting the elevator she wondered out the doors and began her journey back to her home, glad she wouldn't have to do much to remove evidence of her night out. No dirt on her skin, no blood on her body; absolutely nothing. She'd just go back home and rest for the remainder of her day, waiting for the break of dawn before she went back to sleep.

Matt blinked, snapped out of his thoughts upon being gestured at and only just noticing they had sat down on a bench. He gave his small smile as if to offer an example of his happiness. In reality, however, he was smiling out of a mild amusement at their ignorance. He was probably one of only a handful of people in the world who would be any degree of happy with an Alter like his. And if Rose and the caped Alter had ever met his dark passenger, their appreciation for him would probably be dashed to pieces within minutes.
He nodded in answer to Rose's question, finishing off his fries and tossing their container into a nearby trash bin. At last, the milkshake. Taking his first sip of it, his smile spread a little. Chocolate. This was deserving of a thanks more than his loyalty and companionship. He shuffled over to Rose and leaned down, since she was sitting, to deposit a little kiss on her cheek, before latching his lips back onto his milkshake straw.

"I have heard all that I have needed for tonight. I bid the rest of you farewell..." He gave a nod and left the room, the door closing behind him. Weiss gave a small sigh.
"That boy, he tries to take everything upon himself, and distances himself from others. I wonder what he his thinking." He shook his head. "Oh well, I thank you all for arriving tonight. Tomorrow evening I plan on having you investigated certain areas around the city. There are three areas that need to be searched. The Drifter will search a bar in the south known as a gang hideout. You may take our newest recruit with you if you like. Henrietta, I would like to have you search the docks with Marcus. We have reports of strange activity going on there. Cain will take the last area. That is all I have to say for tonight. Please go home and get some rest. It is almost daybreak." With that Weiss stood up and slowly left the room.
Isaac sat down in front of his computer when he arrived home. He placed a disk in the tray and pushed it in. The disk contained data that he had, 'aquired', from Regen Corp.. As the disk booted up he scan the names of countless folders.
"I have a lot that I need to sift through..." He said to himself. He sighed and begun to search the files...

On the way home Henri took her time. There was still an hour or so before daylight, and Mabel typically woke up late anyways. This was probably her fault. The trail of holes and small craters she left made it pretty apparent that she wasn't okay with being made to work with others. Upon making it back to the apartment building, she made it to the roof and relaxed, destroying a couple of gargoyle statues she wasn't fond of. She wanted someone to blame for the orders, but the only victim to come to mind was Isaac. That didn't necessarily stop her...
~Were you responsible for the pairing of tomorrow's operation? -∞~ Henri texted Isaac. She thought about calling him, but he could avoid her calls... Then again he could also just not read her messages... That thought crossed her mind, but then she realized that he couldn't really avoid her blowing a hole in the side of his house if he didn't reply.

Matt had finally caught up to them. "I didn't know what flavor you'd want so I..." she started, noticing he'd begun his milkshake. "Huh?" Rose muttered as Matt leaned in closer. The smell of him was a little much, but she was much too nice to push him away. She smiled and flushed a bit as he planted a light kiss on her cheek. "Gee, it's that good, huh?" She laughed, "That's sweet of you; I'm glad you like it." Half pleased with the kiss and half relieved, she leaned back on the bench. For a split second she'd worried he'd do something creepy like the stereotypical hobo, like bite her or start sniffing her... but this guy wasn't your average homeless person.
She looked up absently at the sky as odd trio sat together in the park. She was content. Had it not been for the sky turning shades of orange and pink, she'd probably have sat there for hours. "It's almost morning... damn. I guess Amy needs her body back soon," she muttered. She normally was a little more careful about divulging any information about her other form, but she was amongst other Nemesis. And what could a first name hurt? There were probably at least a thousand different Amys in the city. She patted Aslan lightly on the shoulder. "Thanks for your help tonight. Hopefully I'll see you around more. We should partner up for a real mission sometime." She winked at him and stood up and turned to Matt. "Same goes for you." She looked around, unable to stop herself from worrying about him. "You okay out here? Amy's got 5:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., no exceptions unless it's an absolute emergency," she quoted from the note she'd received from Amy herself before she'd left last night, "but I'll maybe see you around here tomorrow? I'll buy you another milkshake if you want," she said with a smile. Reluctantly she turned away from the two and started on her way back to Amy's apartment.

He put his head against the glass and slouched in the seat, his eyes getting heavier as time went by. Slowly but surely, he went to sleep. He awoke an hour or so later to find he was just outside the Nemesis headquarters. "Wow, you didn't deviate from the plan for once?" With no answer back he slowly made his way up to the mansion, pulling out a cigarette and lighting it. When he got to the door he stood at it for a moment, taking a small puff before opening the door.

Aslan arrived at the front entrance to Don's house, and picked up a rock. "This is where the spare key is to get in, Aslan," he remembered Don telling him. He picked up the key, opened the door, and quietly walked in. One who walks into the house is greeted by a tiny foyer, and a closet, which takes up around one-fifth of the entire house. There are two doors on opposite sides To the right is the kitchen, which leads to the guest bedroom, which is where John sleeps. To the left is a narrow hallway, which has two doors. The door closest to the entrance is the bathroom, and the door at the end of the hallway is Don's room. Aslan hung his cape and suit in the closet, and walked to Don's room.
Don's room was reasonably large compared to all the other rooms in the house. He had a double bed at the head of the room, even though no one used the other side since Jadis had been around. Next to his bed was a mahogany drawer, where he kept his clothes (which were lacking variety). Don's laptop, one of the only things he bought with his wealth, was on his desk. It was opened up with Wordpad opened, presumably for Aslan to write down what he did like he always did if something happened. He wrote down what had happened, and ended off with a question he had asked himself tonight.
"Why can't people be more like you, Don?"
Aslan put his head on Don's pillow, and drifted off to sleep. Soon enough, Don's shape formed on the bed.

Finishing his milkshake, he stood stroking its container with his finger absently, almost fondly. As the sun began to rise he gave a yawn, briefly revealing some considerable canines. He felt his dark passenger stir at the colors in the sky. Though it's not as if it burned him, sunlight greatly displeased Matt's Alter, and he was never happy to be out in it on the occasion he was. It even irked him to have Matt in it; just another reason Matt's nocturnal sleeping schedule was convenient. He wondered for a moment why his Alter hadn't eaten the past two nights, and subconsciously chided him for it. But he only got a small headache in return, the sudden onset of it making him wince. His dark passenger sometimes didn't like being told what to do, or even being scolded for that matter.
He was snapped out of his thoughts by Rose. Blinking, he rubbed his head, gaze drifting downwards. He did not owe his loyalty or companionship to this Amy, and didn't know her at all either. She probably would not want him sleeping under her bed as he did on the occasion someone let him stay the night. "... Okay." He said quietly. He turned from the caped Alter and Rose as they left to gaze about and get his bearings. There was another park not far from here where he knew he could find a cluster of bushes to sleep safely in; but he had left his blanket in the abandoned warehouse where he had slept the day before. He never slept without his Legos comforter - he would have to trudge all the way to that warehouse to retrieve it, and then trudge to the park near here so he wouldn't be late meeting Rose in the evening. He made a soft, weary moan. It looked like he was going to get to bed late tonight.

With a yawn she kicked her white heels off into the closet and shut the door with her hip while she began to check the house for any signs of intrusion. She hummed while she did so; knocking her hands on the windows and tugging at them to make sure they were locked. Kiiya was the only one who was allowed to open the windows and leave them open; not even her other half trusted open windows. The eighteen year old sighed; she'd caused her other self so many problems and helped her develop so many phobias. Were Alters really the right side of humanity or the wrong? She bit on her lip hard and pressed her forehead to the glass pane of the window. If Alters were the right they wouldn't fight other Alters, wouldn't want to kill every human being. If Alters were the wrong they would be doing what they were doing now, killing off humans who were innocent just to they themselves could exist.
What does that make me? Kiiya thought sadly as she pushed away from the window and made her way up the stairs to the bedroom. She watched her feet move as she climbed and thought about with her other half might of thought about her. She probably thought Kiiya was a murderer; a no good living thing that she wished extinguished from life. Why did she feel she slightly agreed with it?
The teenager paused at the side of the bed and looked down at the note resting on the table. She picked it up and quickly scanned her dark eyes over the words. She'd make it right; she'd make her other half know she wasn't one of the bad ones.
My name is Kiiya. Nice to finally get some word from you Kyou. I promise, I'm not doing anything bad with your body; not at all. I use it to remove all the horrible, viscous humans from this planet. I even joined a group called Aegis to protect innocent humans like you Kyou. So, do you believe me or will I have to prove it to you somehow. I swear, whatever it takes to earn your trust, I'll do it.
She set down the notebook and lay in the bed watching the moon outside the window. This time, she wouldn't leave it open. She wanted this 'Kyou' to trust her, so she would make it seem like she did nothing at night until Kyou left the windows and doors open for her. With the thought she walked over to the bedroom door and locked it. "This is for you."

"It seems she is irritated about having to work with others...She should know there is safety in numbers." Isaac sent a message back:
"No...That was Weiss' idea, and you will have to accept it. I know you can handle this on your own, but we are just trying to be carefull." Isaac sighed. He knew he was getting no sleep tonight, seeing as he was dedicated to researching the data. While looking at the computer screen his eyes shifted to a small bell laying on his desk. He picked it up and held it to the light.
'I always see you staring at that bell...What is it?' Cain asked. Isaac frowned a little.
'It belonged to someone very important to me. Unfortunately, I can't remember her very well...It was a long time ago she gave me this.' Isaac replied.
'Huh, she must not have been that important if you forgot about her... Cain commented in a joking manner. Isaac grunted as he set the bell down.
'No! It's not like that! I...I don't know what happened. It's all fuzzy...' Isaac shook his head and continued his research. He then paused, and his eyes widened. "Wait...This is...Yes, yes! This will be perfect! With this..." Isaac laughed as he stared at the contents of a file labled 'Novo Ruina Project'.
"This world...is pathetic in its current state. Corrupt, unjust. Where everyone preys on their bretheren to survive. I hate it." Silvance, the Unyielding Force, clenched his fist as he spoke. He stepped out into the road, trying to cross to the other side, when a car rushed up, the driver slamming his brakes to avoid hitting him. The driver stuck his head out of the window.
"Hey! Asshole! What the hell are you doing walking out into the street you stupid drunk! I shoulda just ran you over!" He yelled. Silvance's eyes fell on the man.
"I...hate people like you. All of you, should just die!" He held is hand up, and the car flattened like a tin can, along with the street being destroyed. "Soon, I will rid this world of all of you." With those words Silvance continued across the street, making his way to the edge of town to Crane Manor. The other members of his group, Nemesis, would arrive shortly, and he hated to be late.
