Vongola Guardian of the Cloud

Rosa Kuromaku

GENERAL INFORMATION

♣Affiliation : Vongola
♣Gender: Female
♣Nickname(s)/Alias(es): Kuromaku is a false name to protect her identity. She prefers to be referred to as Rosa, but only by her friends. If you call her Rose (her real name) she'll kill you. She has many aliases, such as Mastermind, String-puller or the 'Doll-faced Assassin'.
♣Age: 16
♣Love Interest: None at the moment.
♣Face Claim
: Alice Margatroid (Touhou Project)

APPEARANCE

♣Height: 5'6"
♣Weight: 93lbs
♣Build: Slender
♣Hair Color: Blonde
♣Eye Color: Blue
♣Scars/Tattoos/Piercings: She prides herself on having perfect, untainted skin. If she were injured, she'd be willing to kill the person whom scarred her. She does have a single scar at the base of her neck, however, which she wishes to hide.
♣Description: Rosa prides herself on having a perfect appearance, appearing so perfect, she'd have to be artificial. She so painstakingly spends so much time upholding this image and caring for her own body so she can stay absolutely perfect. The ideal for her is unnatural perfection, a beauty unattainable by a being of flesh. The scowl on her face, however, sort of ruins that.

♣Preferred Clothing
: Rosa takes painstaking effort into having perfect clothing, clothing that is unstained. She tends to wear a lot of red frilled ribbons, but will wear blue and white to contrast it. Red, white and blue are her favorite colors after all. She might wear something different every day, but whatever she wears tends to be rather frilly, and likely difficult to put on. She often wears a corset under her clothing as well, to keep a perfect figure. She tends to wear skirts, but if she knows she's going to be involved in combat, she'll avoid them in favor of hot pants or something to that effect. She often wears kneesocks and large brown boots. In hot weather, she has a short sleeved blouse, but in cooler weather, she wears long sleeves. Much of her clothing has a heavy focus on frills and she tends to dress in a mix between Victorian and Gothic-Lolita fashions.

MENTALITY

♣Oddities: Rosa is known to be a perfectionist, accepting no standard lower than beyond astounding. She refuses to be beat by anybody in anything and though it may seem easy for her, she works extremely hard to uphold that standard and to continue to achieve beyond her own standard. If she accomplishes something, she may brag about it but she'll already be hard at work to continue accomplishing. She refuses to be inferior to anybody.
♣Skills: Rosa has a reputation of having many skills. She's known to be very clever, which most people tend to hate about her because it tends to make her condescending and manipulative. Even in intense situations, however, Rosa can think quickly and logically to make sure things happen perfectly in her favor. She's earned her reputation as a 'String-Puller' this way. Well, also because she is very skilled at sewing.
♣Hobbies: It may be a closely guarded secret of hers, but she enjoys playing with dolls. She likes sewing them together and roleplaying with them, or just fondling them in her hands. Of course, she likes collecting dolls as well, which isn't too difficult to believe. When she plays with dolls, however, she can tend to be very childish or cliche, an image she would wish never to show. After all, isn't she allowed to have fun?

o Manipulating people Being manipulated x
o Perfection Inferiority x
o Compliments Unintelligent people x
o Winning Being restrained x

♣Phobia(s): She has no phobias in particular, except for the fear of being inferior. Being inferior is something she could never take.
♣Sexuality: Heterosexual
♣Personality: Rosa is one person whom it is very difficult to get along with. She is known to be rather hateful toward other people for seemingly no reason. She just seems to love to find a fault in a person and hate them for that fault. She is never happy until everybody else is less happy than her. The only way to possibly get on her good side is to do something she wants you to.

Rosa isn't a very likable person anyway. She loves to go on and on about her own superiority, how she's of royal blood and how she's more intelligent, prettier and more skilled than all others. In this way, she's not very likable, seeing as she's not only better than others, but has the right to brag about it. Yet, while she's very social about herself, she dislikes being bothered by others. Indeed, she is very apathetic.

Her perfectionist attitude applies in combat as well, only accepting a perfect victory and never allowing herself to be hurt, which is part of her perfect image. She prides herself on being an assassin of highest quality, Varia quality (although she never calls it that, thinking she's beyond that). In fact, she has so much pride in her abilities that she sort of has a small lust to kill, although yet she still feels unfulfilled. One of the reasons why she is often in such a bad mood and why she's such a perfectionist is that she feels unfulfilled somehow, although she can't quite pinpoint it.

If she were to have her perfection be destroyed, if she were to be injured and witness her own royal blood dripping out of her own body, then her normally cool and collected attitude may just shatter. She'll break into a fury, not able to stop until the person whom injured her is dead. It is unknown why this happens, but it could either simply be her perfectionism, a trait she somehow received from her father or perhaps it has to do with a bad memory.

BACKGROUND

♣Relationship Status: Single
♣Family
Father || Belphagor || Former Varia Storm Guardian, possibly deceased
Mother || Valerie || Vongola hitwomen

♣Personal History: Rosa was the daughter of a revered hitman known as Belphagor, who was once a prince and a member of Varia, whom could have become the Tenth Generation Storm Guardian. That never happened of course. Rosa's mother was once a young hitwomen whom was part of the Vongola family, with the intention of possibly becoming a Varia someday. She, unfortunately, fell in love with Belphagor and though they managed to get into a relationship, he never really cared for her at all. When Rosa was conceived, Belphagor never met her again. He did not want a child, as they would be 'too annoying to deal with' and Rosa and her mother were simply cast aside.

Rosa was raised by her mother alone, whom often was very busy working under the employment of the Vongola, so Rosa spent a lot of them locked up in her room as a child. She may have developed a love for both dolls and for reading, but she had found out whom her father was, a great hitman, one of Varia's elite and known for his ruthlessness and wit, as well as how he joined Varia at the age of 8. Rosa had aspired to become just like him and tried to train herself in becoming a hitman. Sure, she taught herself how to activate box weapons using her mother's spare ring, and she found out how to control her porcelain dolls using strings and flames, but she was still only a child. Her mother highly disapproved of the notion, so she only ever practiced whenever she was home and her mother wasn't. She even left the house on many occasions to do so.

When she was 8, however, she had ended up being attacked during one of her outdoor training sessions by a criminal whom was merely going to rob her for her rings and box weapons. Rosa defended herself, thinking he would either kidnap or kill her, and somehow managed to kill him. She ran home as quickly as possible before she was caught. Now, she believed she was an assassin, and her career began.

Rosa began paving her own road of red, assassinating hitmen whom she felt were unworthy to live, enemies of the Vongola, people with bounties on their heads and so on. Sure, she was young, but she was clever. It was her cleverness that gained her infamy, even if nobody really knew who she was. The rumor just spoke of the 'Doll-faced Assassin' that was roaming around.

Apparently, however, her mother somehow found out about this, being told of her activities by one of her superiors. Somebody high up in the Vongola family must have found out the Doll-faced Assassin's true identity, and wanted her to stop. So, Rosa's mother confronted her and told her so, giving a lengthy explanation as to why what she was doing was wrong for her. Rosa was pretty upset, especially considering she felt that she was good at what she did, not to mention both her parents were hitmen, yet neither were proud of her accomplishments. She reluctantly promised she would stop killing, but it was merely an empty promise as only a few weeks later, she begin plotting her next target, one that would allow her to gain her mother's approval; her father.

At the age of 12, Rosa found and confronted her biological father, who didn't even recognize her. The Doll-faced Killer was already becoming a well-known alias in the criminal world, comparable even to Belphagor and Rosa felt that just maybe he would finally accept her as a ruthless and clever killer like he was. He did not. 'Stop trying' were his words. Rosa was already planning to possibly kill him for her mother's sake, to gain her mother's approval, but at that moment, her decisions were for herself. She attacked. Later than evening, she would be brought home by the Vongola Cloud Guardian, unconscious and covered in blood, cuts and bandages.

Very soon afterward, Rosa and her mother moved to Namimori in Japan. Rosa's mother had her position moved to part of the Vongola's Japanese sector and Rosa was transferred to a school in Namimori. Ever since, she's gained a sort of reputation as a queen of the hive. She's very popular among some students, but she's very unpopular among others, mainly, those that she enjoys picking on. If she picks up a flaw in you, she and her fellow socialites will make your life close to a living hell.

OTHER

♠Techniques
Artificial Sacrifice - Rosa can use her Storm flames to make any of her Dolls spontaneously self-destruct by will, with the intention of hurting the enemy with an explosion.
Living Doll Marionette - If Rosa can managed to cover a person in needles or wires, she can control their own bodies like they were her own puppets using Bambola di Maledizione. She can only control up to one at once and it weakens the enemy by draining their vitality with Cloud flames every time they move against the force of the wires. By force, she can make a person fight their own allies and, if she does it right, she can even force them to use deathperation flames (although, they may be relatively weak). A very difficult technique to pull off, but comes with satisfying and horrifying results.
Killing Doll Waltz - Inspired by one of Belphagor's most advanced techniques. Using wires previously set up around the battlefield, she uses a conjunction of needles and wires to surround the opponent with countless needles. She then attacks from every direction. Though the needles aren't as deadly as knives, they certainly are painful, especially when they hit the wrong places. Also, the wires are the ones that do the most cutting and typically deliver the fatal blows. This is typically her finishing technique.
Perfection Break - Upon being injured and seeing her own blood, Rosa tends to loose it, going absolutely insane. She stops using Cloud flames in favor of Storm flames and her attacks are quick and aggressive, yet equally as deadly. In this state, Rosa will never stop fighting until she gains an absolute victory, and restraining her is very difficult.

♠ Weapon
Dolls: Alice has a large collection of Box Weapons which contain various types of Dolls, all of which are designed by her individually. She keeps whatever Box Weapons she's carrying at the time on a belt, which she can equip at any time using a storage box. All her dolls are each controlled by flame power through wires.
Needles: Rosa often uses small sewing needles as projectile weapons, which although are definitely painful, aren't really deadly unless used intelligently. Their main purpose are to be used in conjunction with wires in many different ways, similarly to Belphegor's Knives. Using Cloud flames, however, she can increase their size to become deadly spikes that are as long as her forearm.
Wires: These are the things Rosa probably relies on the most. They are very thin and very sharp, but are also difficult to cut without the use of flames. They attach to small modified rings that are attached to each of Rosa's fingers and Rosa can send Cloud flames or Storm flames through them at will. Like this, she can control a maximum of ten dolls at a time, but they are used for many other techniques as well. It is these wires that give Rosa her reputation as the 'String-puller'.
♠ Main Box Weapon:
♠ Sub-Box Weapon:
♠ Extra Box Weapons
Nuvola di Lanciere - Small dolls wielding lances and shields. Rosa can manipulate an entire phalanx of these things.
Nuvola di Cavaliere - Dolls wielding swords and shields. Rosa can manipulate each of them individually and fight even against sword wielding opponents of much greater size.
Nuvola di Arciere - Dolls wielding bows that fire needles. Not all that threatening, but they usually attack in volleys.
Nuvola di Goliath - A giant doll that is many times larger than Rosa herself. It wields two swords that are the size of telephone poles. To save on flame power, she uses the Cloud flame's property to help her control and sustain such a large doll. It's only real advantage is in its size.
Nuvola di Matryoshka - A large round doll used to trap opponents in, but it can be used as a barrier as well. Anybody inside of it will have their flame power absorbed by the inside of the doll. Despite its big appearance, it can be very cramped within. That is because it is actually a doll within a doll within a doll within a doll within a doll, and the amount of time that repeats depends on the size of the largest doll.
Storm Knife - A box weapon that is for more utility than a primary weapon. Its simply a large hunting knife that can be lit with Storm flames. She mostly uses it to cut wires, as well as other sorts of obstacles. If an enemy were to get way too close to her, it works perfectly for self-defense. It's also pretty useful for finishing off a target before things get messy as a stab with this thing is very near fatal, what with the Storm flames eating away at your flesh and all. Of course, she just likes waving it around at any given moment just for the sake of scaring people, because nobody wants to mess with the angry lady with a giant knife in her hands.
Tempesta di Karakuri - An automated puppet/doll that is not directly under Rosa's control. Their actions are much more limited compared to other dolls, such as being unable to leave the ground or make complicated movements, but they can still be quite effective when used correctly. For the most part, they tend to be used as walking bombs.
Bambola di Maledizione - A storm box weapon with the appearance of a straw doll. Once Rosa has completely entangled an enemy in wires, she can use this box weapon to activate Living Doll Marionette. Also, if this doll is damaged by flames other than Rosa's, it will severely damage the owner of those flames.
Perfetta Bambola Reborn - A cloud box weapon. Translates to Perfect Reborn Doll. Rosa almost never fights her opponents directly. To make sure she never gets harmed herself, she'll often control this doll, a doll that appears to be a perfect replica of herself. Because it is a box weapon, she can make its appearance seem identical to that of her own, as well as its flame power, allowing her to open box weapons as an extension of her own flames. She claims that when she controls this doll, her own soul is transferred into it (although this isn't entirely confirmed) which is the reason behind its completely lifelike movements, although they are really the result of very intense practice on Rosa's part. Normally, only a Hyper Intuition could see past this decoy. The only way to identify it from the real Rosa is from the lack of a small scar on base of its neck, the scar Rosa never shows anybody. Of course, because it is a doll, it can do all the things any of Rosa's other dolls do, including blowing up.
Nuvola di Carro - A large doll that Rosa is currently developing yet. It is currently top secret, as well as unfinished.
