"When another person makes you suffer, it is because he suffers deeply within himself, and his suffering is spilling over. He does not need punishment; he needs help. - Thich Naht Hanh"

People describe Hiro as a frail yet handsome young man. He has thin pink lips which always seem to be formed in a somewhat grief-filled smile. His skin supports his frail body, being an unnatural pale color, this is due to the fact he rarely goes outside. He is in a since weaker than the other spirits, not because he can't fight, but because his body can only go so far before it "breaks". He has a rather tall appearance that many humans find intimidating at first sight. His hair is just like his brother's, but way shorter only going down to about the bottom of his neck. Hiro's most unnatural feature is his heterochromia eyes: Left is gold and Right is blue. He isn't proud of them, because whenever he looks at them in the mirror they remind him of his past.
At times Hiro will be seen in his fox-spirit form, which he is in majority of the time until Shiro tells him to change back. In this form, and his more human appearance, he wears a white, blue and black Japanese yukata, and wields a katana. In his fox form, there is an added addition of nine white tails, and also a pair of white fox ears on his head. His hair seems to change from silver to white when in this form. He feels comfortable with the tail and ears since he likes the softness of them. Usually when he is over-excited or curious his ears pop out along with one of his nine tails. Hiro doesn't really have many complaints about this form, but he can say the one thing he doesn't like about his fox form is that it usually scares off the humans.

| Personality |
One's first impression of Hiro would probably be that he seems rather civil, polite, and somewhat entrancing, especially when looking into his eyes. He is tender and gentle toward humans and spirits, always showing a simple smile even when upset. Very quiet, quite absent-minded, and extremely timid. Usually staring at the sky, as if he is looking at something, causing him to have the expression of one who is mentally and physical exhausted. He randomly sings a song when he is happy, and acts rather childish when around people he likes. On the flip side, he can be very malicious, manipulative, sarcastic, insulting, and cunning when he needs to be, though this is rare since Hiro doesn't believe in using these methods. This isn't to say that he puts on a facade; he simply acts differently around different people. It is an understatement to say that Hiro simply knows things -- he is very wise and knowledgeable on the topics of human or spirit nature and behavior, as well as the presence of fate and inevitability in a person's life. He believes that we are all here for a reason, and that every encounter we face is for a reason. Hiro does not believe in the labels of 'bad' or 'good', and insists that those definitions are created by humans, not nature itself. Therefore, he believes himself to be neither good or evil, and never questions another's morality.
Another thing he enjoys to touch upon in conversation is "perception". If you believe something is so, then it is so, according to you. Your own definition of happiness. Your own definitions of good versus evil. Everybody is different, and therefore there will be conflicting opinions and views, but as long as you stay true to yourself and believe in your perceptions, you will go far. Often, he can become rather serious, especially in situations that genuinely disgust or disappoint him. He can come across as uncaring and heartless, however, he truly cares for life human and spirit, and believes that all of them are important in their own way.
Hiro is the spirit of the past and future. During the fighting for Izuzan, this power was looked upon as frighteningly magnificent. Hiro would tell them of coming attacks in the future and see the past for any traitors who leaked information. This power isn't a blessing to Hiro since he can see the past and future of every person human, spirit, even animals and plant life. It is very stressful because whenever he closes his eyes, or rests he sees a person's past and their future. The way Hiro's powers work is that whenever he relaxes by sleeping or closing his eyes two doors will appear, one being blue, and the other being golden. The blue one represents the past, and that door leads to the memories of others involving their past, even their past lives. The golden door represents the future, and it leads to a person's future showing Hiro their death, how long they will live, etc. He can see a person's memories by touching them also, that is way he avoids physical contact people. Though not every time he touches somebody he sees their past and future, though he rather not take any chances. The impact of the memories and future events cause a huge strain on Hiro's mind, which makes it almost impossible for him to sleep without waking up in a cold sweat. Besides his Spiritual abilities he is a excellent dancer and singer usually seen dancing and singing randomly to himself whenever he is alone.
| Family |
Hiro only has Shiro he can call his true family. He loves Shiro and looks up to him, like any other younger brother would look up to their older brother. Unfortunately unlike the rest of the spirits, Hiro is able to remember everything from his past life, usually causing him sleepless nights... suggesting his past wasn't something to be happy over.
