Shiori Nazuka

It wasn't long after Shiori spoke up that a few of the others did as well, and as they did she began to slink towards the back of the room knowing well that her quiet voice and lack of presence would simply be drowned out. So she just stood and listened, observed as these people attempted to explain the situation.

Spirits? Preposterous. Or so she thought, but one of them sprouted fox ears and a tail, there was also the fact they had successfully kidnapped each of them without any of them knowing. As much as she'd like not to believe it, it was becoming harder to do so by the moment. Each of the spirits introduced themselves with varying levels of friendliness and informed the group that they stolen were away and taken here in order to "serve" them to repay some debt. The details on what exactly they wanted and the duration of their service were not explained.

Shiori was obviously angry, but also afraid. Despite many of the spirit's attempts to appear friendly or reassure them, she wasn't ready to trust them nor was she ready to accept her current situation. But what could she do? The answer was quite obviously nothing. A sigh escaped her lips as her gaze fell to the floor. She heard mention of pairs but only looked up when one of the spirits approached her directly.

"Looks like you'll be coming with me then. I'll show you to your room."

This spirit, Kaska if she remembered correctly, was apparently going to be the one she would serve. She was slightly relieved that she would be with one of the women and that she seemed to at least be trying to look friendly, but she still wasn't happy about it by any means. Shiori's only response was a nod as she followed behind Kaska towards what was apparently going to be her room. It was a nice enough room, another small relief for her, overlooking a strange but rather pretty garden. After a few moments of awkward silence Shiori finally spoke, her eyes fixed on the ground as she addressed Kaska.

"Um... Your name's Kaska right?... I... I'd really like to know... How long do I have to stay here before I can go home." Her voice was meek and quiet, matching her posture and general presence perfectly. Home wasn't exactly a place she missed, she disliked her parents and the village as a whole really, but for the first time in a long time she genuinely wished to return there. She was also a little nervous that her question might come across as being rude but it was a question she desperately wanted an answer to.

"It would be unwise to get on one's captive's bad side, and one way to do that is to refuse their nature." Ninna replied. The spirit, for Ninna was about 70% sure she was a spirit, stepped past her to get the untouched trays of food, balancing all five on her hands, before walking away. "Follow" Ninna complied, and did her best to memorize the way. If this was a spirit shine, then there must be more spirits in here, and they might not be a friendly... "My room - and yours respectively - are far from where you woke. Remember the path well - getting lost in this place would be unwise." Said the spirit. 'Damn, I didn't catch her name.' Thought Ninna. The path will be easy enough to remember, despite the many hallways that diverged from the way to her room. When they arrived at her room, spacious and comfortable, with strange lanterns. 'Lightning bugs?' Ninna thought, frowning. "I leave it to you whether you would stay here for the time being, or continue to follow me." Said the spirit.
"I'd like to stay here, thank you." Ninna said respectfully. "I... I got a lot to think about." The spirit smiled and closed the door. Ninna listened to her footsteps walking down the hallway. When she couldn't do that any longer, Ninna sat on in the middle of the bed and crisscrossed her legs. She took a deep breath, and started meditating, scrutinizing, examining, and reexamining today's events.

Daiki did not bother to answer Kent's question... He would see soon enough anyway right? As they walked down the hall Dai made sure the human kept up and followed him when he turned the corner. Dai stopped once they reached a door. The door itself was made out of long strips of wood and had no rice paper to conceal the other side. Light filtered in through the door and you could vaguely see outside. But outside was hard to distinguish it looked like a green blob with colors that seemed to fade and change sometimes the green would change to white or a darker green it was strange for someone who'd never seen it like trying to focus in on a blur. Daiki pulled open the door revealing a garden... He closed it then opened it again revealing a new garden... The act was performed 5 times until Dai stopped leaving the door open to his own garden. Dai gently stepped outside and visibly calmed once he was in his own space.

Dai's garden was his pride and joy, and it felt nice showing it off to someone new... Half of the garden was hidden in the shadow of large dark green trees that would let it only streaks and slivers of bright light, that would gently play on the petals of a few sunflowers, a bunch of hydrangeas and various other dark leafed plants. There was also a pond that disappeared out of view behind some trees and a path of rocks in the pond that also faded out of view leading deeper into the garden. The other half of the garden was just as odd as it's shadowy half. It was full of soft lush green grass somewhat long in length but not wild or troublesome just plush. Bright flowers especially sun flowers gently grew in patches making a beautiful mix of colors... There were also small puddles and ponds that were much deeper then they seemed and crystal clear blue so you could see the very bottom were little fish small among what looked to be a ruin or column.

Dai turned to look at Kent. "This is my garden... The ones you saw before were those of the other spirits... That door as well as a few others leads to a different garden just by you thinking of the person..." Dai turned away from the blonde and sat on his shaded oak porch listening to the wind-chime blow and create a soothing sound. "The shrine is... Alive in a way it provides what we needs and has various secrets and strange doors and passages... Put don't worry... I will nearly always be in my garden tending my sunflowers... You may also come here as you wish and explore the rest of my garden... But not even I have seen all the way to it's end so try not to get lost..." Dai finally allowed himself to lay down on his low porch the angle allowed him to look at Kent. "Now I'm sure there are questions you have... So ask away..."

Felipe remained silent as his fate was dealt... Of course he had to get paired with Mr.glum... Why? Feli had always been a happy person who loved smiling but Shiro did not seem like the type of person who would appreciate his smiling face... Wait... What WAS he thinking! He was Felipe Alegre after all! He could cheer anyone up even a grouchy old spirit. Putting on a brave smile Feli nodded thankfully at Hiro keeping the happy memories of his family in his mind he quickly followed after Shiro... Although he'd not appreciated his first comment about him Feli just kept happy thoughts in mind and decided his first goal was to get Shiro to call him Feli... Or erm... At least Felipe so he would not be crybaby... Besides... Felipe was too pretty to be a crybaby! If anything he was a caramel Spanish delight! Thank you very much! Felipe kept close Shiro and had decided not to talk... But after awhile he thought that might not be the best tactic... "I'm sorry if I seem a burden Shiro... But I will do my best so don't worry." Putting on a happy smile Feli decided to leave it at that, just like his mom always told him "State the truth and leave it at that!" And that's just what he did.

āœ KENT LACH

Kent stared at the world around him, completely oblivious as Daiki walked away and went to lay down on the porch. At first he had been a bit annoyed, as he had thought that perhaps the spirit was civil, but then he wouldn't even answer his question? But it turns out he hadn't had to, it had only taken them a moment to reach the door. Again, with the opening and closing of the door, he had gotten annoyed. Once he saw the garden though? All protests died in his throat. There wasn't words to describe a place like this. Just saying a garden would have been a shame to this world, it was much more than just a garden. It literally was it's own little world, somewhat of a safe haven. But Daiki warned him not to get lost, that not even he had reached the corners of the garden. It was sort of like Alice in Wonderland, in a weird way. Had he fallen down the rabbit hole to get here? Possibly, according to them, he had been asleep for the trip here.

How exactly had Daiki carried him? He was much bigger than the blue haired demon...

"I don't have any questions," he said somewhat stubbornly, sort of like a child that had just gotten caught on the verge of tears. I wasn't crying, but you could see the red around their eyes. Currently you could see the curiosity pouring off of Kent, but he was trying to hide it. After a few moments he went and joined his new, er, boss on the porch and sat down, which was quite awkward considering he was close to the ground and his knees were in his face. "What sort of things am I going to have to do?" As soon as the first question was out, there was a million more. "How long will I be here? Will I be able to see Felipe? Do I have to do things for the other spirits? Do I get to eat? Where will I sleep? Do I even get to rest?"

Kaska Otani

Kaska led her human, Shiori to the room she had made ready. It was nice and simple with traditional Japanese fittings. She hadn't decorated the room besides placing a vase of fresh flowers on the small coffee table in the corner.

"Um... Your name's Kaska right?... I... I'd really like to know... How long do I have to stay here before I can go home." The girl asked, her timidness evident. Kaska tilted her head to the side and give Shiori a smile,
"Hmm, perhaps a decade or so. Maybe longer?" Kaska answered pleasantly, she had a skewed concept of time in the way that humans knew it. To her a decade was no more than a small collection of years in her long, long life. She was a spirit after all and had already lived for numerous centuries. What was a decade to someone who had lived for over a hundred years? So perhaps her answer was a bit blunt, but Kaska didn't notice.
"You'll stay with us until the debt is paid." She added as she walked towards the door that led outside. She slid it open, revealing her garden.

It was warm, filled with sunlight and overflowing with bright summer flowers. A clear pond in the corner was currently warm enough for a pleasant soak, something Kaska would often do. Around the edges of the garden could be seen the wintery aspects of her nature, they would grow and take over the garden as her anger grew but currently they were pretty minimal.
"This is my garden." Kaska informed Shiori, stepping through the doorway and to the side so that the girl could see it. "You are welcome to come here any time you wish. That door there will lead you to the other spirits' gardens, you just have to think of each spirit and open the door." Kaska explained, pointing to said door which was sitting halfway down the garden fence. She continued her tour, taking a few small steps to the door next to the one she had entered the garden through. She tapped the screen but didn't open it,
"This is my room." Kaska said happily. "I'm right next to you so whenever I need you I can just pop in." Kaska didn't see anything wrong with the apparent lack of privacy that she was giving Shiori, after all the girl was going to be Kaska's servant from now on. As the master she had the right to do pretty much whatever she wanted.
"Unless you're with me I don't want you to ever enter my room." The smile was still on her face but her voice had taken on a crispier tone. Her room was the one place where she and she alone was allowed. She even disliked her fellow spirits entering. She didn't want to scare the girl by making unnecessary threats, she was sure that Shiori was smart enough not to break Kaska's one rule.

Kaska turned back to Shiori and clapped her hands together, "So, any more questions?" She asked, her voice back to its previous chirpy tone.

Hiro Kobayashi & Shiro Kobayashi

Hiro heard a small voice, it was like a whisper but quieter. Thankfully his fox ears were still out, so he could hear the small voice. He turned around, eyes wide as he stared at Amaterasu who for the first time had spoken to him. He smiled softly,"Well...It was Shiro and Dai who helped me. Shiro blinded the Guards with the moon, and Dai put the rest to sleep. I sneaked into the house and took you away through the window. It was pretty high up though. They must really love you, since they did so much to protect you."

Hiro laughed a little at himself, it wasn't his normal laughter but kinda mysterious. He wished to be loved like that again. He wanted to see his family again... he could actually, he just had to go into the past. No, he promised Shiro he wouldn't look into the past randomly anymore. But...it would only be one minute...just one minute that's all. Hiro nodded as if that decided everything. He stared straight ahead, and waited patiently...he felt a throbbing pain in his left eye as it started to glow. It only took a second for him to enter the labyrinth...he reached for the gold door and opened it slowly.

Hiro stood in front of a small white house, it was surrounded by three full grown cherry blossom tress. Petals fell from the trees, dancing around the house, it was so beautiful. The wind blew quietly, above the different colored flowers on the ground. The green grass was even enjoying the cool breeze. Two children ran across the yard yelling to the top of their lungs as they chased each other. A frail mother sat on the porch staring at the cherry petals, while the father was chopping down some trees for the fire. Hiro knew this memory very well...it was his favorite one...the only memory where his mother looked at Him. Hiro knew it was dangerous to walk any closer, but his mother was looking at him...if he could only get her attention...than... He walked closer to the woman, both gazes never moving. Her gaze was so kind and warm and her smile was as bright as the sun...I miss it. He was know in front of the frail woman, their eyes meeting each others,"Mom...it's me...Mom look...I'm here. Please look at me again...I beg you, look at me."

Hiro knew this was an impossible request, she was dead...she is dead...and it's my fault. Hiro reached to touch her cheek, but his hand ran right past her...he couldn't touch her. Hiro wanted to cry, but what good would that do...nothing. He stood up and walked down the porch, he stopped as he watched the children run past him toward their Mother...My Mother. Hiro knew he couldn't stay here anymore. He walked toward to where he left the door...but when he looked up he couldn't find the door. Oh no. This was really bad, he couldn't go back.

Shiro was walking ahead, when he heard Felipe speak to him. He didn't show any form of emotion, he was empty. He didn't want to deal with this anymore. Humans were so annoying. It seemed as if Felipe was determined...Shiro couldn't as he hated that...though it was annoying. He came to a stop and stared at him for a minute, looking him up and down. This might be interesting... "I was never going to worry about you...but...as long as your not to loud...we should be fine." He couldn't be grumpy, and he knew Hiro would scold him if he wouldn't at least try to talk to the human. It didn't mean he accepted him...but he would try.

Shiro sighed as they came closer to the door, it was like a big blob whenever someone tried focusing on it...even to Shiro. He was about to open it, when he felt something was wrong. Where is Hiro?

He looked behind him,"Hiro." Their wasn't an answer...not even a single hum...that scared Shiro more than anything. When he didn't even hear a complaint from Hiro, something was wrong. His face didn't show any sign of fear or worry, but that didn't mean he wasn't. He swiftly turned back around, walking down the hall looking for Hiro. He came to a stop when he saw Hiro standing still in the middle of the hallway. Shiro knew he wasn't "here", when he saw his left eye glowing. "Shit. Didn't I tell him not to "See". Hiro!" Shiro went up to Hiro and grip him, he started shaking him back and forth. It didn't help as Hiro's eye grew dull, losing its glow. Shiro knew this wasn't going to end well if he didn't get Hiro out of the labyrinth. He picked up the lifeless body and carried him to the door,"Come on you two!" He called back to the two humans, who were trying to keep up with his fast pace.

Once Shiro reached the door, he started opening and closing it, revealing a new garden each time,"Come on...I need Hiro's garden. Ah,Here it is." Shiro pushed the two humans inside, than entered after them with Hiro.

Once entering they were all surrounded by a huge purple garden. The garden was enveloped in mysterious purple and golden cloud. The sun shone brightly in the sky blinding them. The garden was full of various flowers, a gorgeous pond was at its very heart, and at the middle of that pond was a bridge, which guided you to a small temple that was harboring a small cherry blossom tree. The pond was surrounded by a vast number of purple and pink trees that held bountiful fruit. Soft grass that spread farther than the eye could see. Various pathways lead to different directions, many lead to the darker side of the purple forest. The garden was magnificently beautiful as the birds chirped and cherry blossom petals fell from the sky. Shiro didn't even stop to explain as he rushed to the porch on the far right. He led Hiro down carefully on the step, and looked into his eyes. "Man, you went in far."

Shiro had to use his powers, he didn't want a repeat of this mornings incident...but he knew if he didn't something bad was going to happen. He lowered the temperature in his body to almost below 0 degrees. He had to shock Hiro out, which was the worst way, but also the fastest.

"Okay, get ready Hiro". Shiro touched Hiro's forehead, and immediately Hiro came back to his senses, slapping Shiro's hand away. "Cold! That was cold!" Hiro was breathing heavily as he fell off the porch, he landed on his back, "Ouch!" Hiro looked up to see Shiro's eyes, they were lifeless, but showed a spark of anger. He turned over to see Amaterasu with her same blank expression, and Felipe completely confused. He finally got what happened. He got up and bowed his head,"I'm sorry! I caused trouble!"

Loveā€¦

Does love include locking a person away from the world and forcing them in a world of solitary confinement? If that was the caseā€¦ then love has a morbid meaning to it. Amaterasu wondered that herself why her parents did that. It was right to assume by every stranger that the parents did it out of love

If onlyā€¦

The girl believed in the word, shes the epitome of nothingness as far as sheā€™s concerned. Love is a mere word derived from a dictionary. Stillā€¦ maybe, just maybe deep inside the respite she calls her soul maybe it still exist, a small side of her that she locked away that awaits the day a person would save it from the deep darkness that she calls her soul. A small side of her listened to his words while the rest already mulled over how they had done it.

Before when she would run out she always did have to wait till the moon was hidden and sneak out into a small escape route by the wall. No one knew it except for her and her brotherā€¦ their secret get away before he too decided to lock her inside. Why? A younger side of her begged her parents for an answer once upon a time.

Only for them to say it was for her protection, does it meanā€¦ having no will is for her protection as well? Having no one to hear her disagree to their wishes, once upon a time she had a voice to voice out those conflicts. But nowā€¦ it didnā€™t matter anymore.
She certainly lost her care for the world.

Dragging out her mind, she forced it back into the world of the living just as Hiro finished speaking, he chuckled. It wasnā€™t the kind oneā€¦ but a more mysterious one, something inside her spoke that something was wrong with it. Thereā€™s sadness in the smile, a deep longing for something that had already passed.

She could only guess it was something in the past. And there the girl knew she had no right to ask just what it was. They just met, even if urmā€¦. He saw her past, future and probably her entire life. He had been the one to kidnap her after all. To get her away from herā€¦ ā€˜prisonā€™

Yetā€¦

One question remained unanswered.

Why her?

Why did he have to kidnap a girl who had nothing to do with this whole mess? She kept the question at the back of her mind in avoidance to insulting the young man. And hisā€¦ protective brother. She barely heard the conversation between the older twin and the tanned man instead she looked ahead and minded her own thoughts.

She must have been driven deep into them when failed to notice her ā€˜masterā€™s' lack of presence. Silently the girl stopped in her tracks. The others were way ahead of her, she looked back to seeā€¦ him standing frozen on the spot.

Right there, doing nothing except just standing. The girl looked at his quizzically, never uttering a word or a single glimpse of a reaction. Butā€¦ glancing slightly back at the general direction the others went. She felt like she should at least call for the manā€™s brother. Something didnā€™tā€¦ fell right with Hiro at the moment. The empty hallway around them decorated by maple wood floorings made it apparent they were alone. She took a step closer, and then it happened. A small spark of her infamous headache sparked. It started right at her gold eye then travelled to the back of her mind in a split second. Had she not been used to it she would have doubled over. Being the wiser she closed her said eye for a second. The sound of footsteps rushed towards them then the voice of the manā€™s twin shaking the younger twin.

All this took place the moment she had her eye closed. She only opened it when the man carefully carried the lifeless body of the twin and then called out for them to follow him.

Thereā€™s no time to complain and so she did, albeit running at his space was a challenge thanks to the heavy kimono she had on her person. Soft patters sounding from her steps nearly invisible to the hurried ones of Shiro.
Hurry, hurry An inward voice spoke.

Hurry indeed when they passed through doors. She tried her best to keep up in her current predicament. Through five doors they passed. Five gardens that they didnā€™t have the time to admire untilā€¦ the last one, a purple mist floated around them she lifted her hand to touch one of it out of curiosity butā€¦ stopped when her companions rushed ahead.

And she needed to rush with them, but on the ground with only socks on her person? No complains, even as the stones and small pebbles pricked at her heels. A small prick of pain from the small twizzles on the ground that probably few splintered her feet, yet the girl didnā€™t pause for a second,

Around them were several purple and pink trees. Truly it was a sight from the gods. Her face almost gave the expression of awe before she schooled it back to her uncaring faƧade. Ahead she saw Shiro hurrying his twin towards the small bridge right towards the small shrine where a beautiful cherry blossom tree bloomed. As quietly as she could she followed after them then stopped when Hiro slapped his brotherā€™s hand then falling on his back. Had she cared the sight would have made her giggled instead. Her face remained blanked even as Hiro quickly apologized for worrying them. Raising her hand a bit she caught one of the petals blowing in the wind.

Shiori Nazuka

A... A decade? Maybe longer? This was not the answer Shiori was hoping to hear, they had mentioned something about not aging earlier, but even so she was still concerned, she'd be missing from the world for all that time. What would happen while she was gone? Would she even have anything to come back to? She felt sick to her stomach, it was likely that she was looking even paler now as well. However she continued to simply follow behind Kaska, nodding in response to her words before they finally came to a stop in front of Kaska's room.

She felt like just curling up into a ball in all honesty, praying that she would just wake up at home. She knew that wasn't going to happen though, she also knew that giving up now wouldn't help anything. But still, she felt that she had to sit down at least. She took a seat facing the garden and pulled her knees up to her chest before voicing another question. "What do you expect from me?... What exactly is it that you want me to do for you? I'm really not good at anything... Nothing useful anyways." Well, that wasn't exactly true, she was a decent cook but she wasn't even sure if these spirits needed to eat. She wanted to plead and beg her to let her go, but she had a feeling that would pointless. She'd never be able to fight her way out, and from the sounds of it escape would quite difficult as well.

"If I... Do well, could I go earlier?... A decade might not be much for you but... For a human that's quite a long time. I know I don't have much room to bargain... And I really don't understand this whole debt thing but..." Her voice trailed off as she wrapped her arms around her knees, staring off into the garden. This was going to be her home, her new daily life for several years. Though she had wanted to this whole time it was only now that tears began to form in the corners of her eyes. She buried her face in her knees in an attempt to hide her tears from Kaska, taking a deep breath as she tried to recompose herself.

Daiki raised an eye brow at the blonde and he gave a weak smile. "You will not have to do much... Just keep me company as I get lonely... Perhaps get me tea or help me get around if I end up lost in a dream or weaken myself from lack of sleep..." Dai closed his eyes struggling to remember the other questions but they came back to him and Dai sat up deciding to answer them properly. "You will be here until the debt is paid until such a time when it is you will not age and you may chose to stay once it is paid... You will see everyone else again as we will eat together and spend time together... You will only do such things for another spirit if they need it or request it but if you do not wish to... Then don't and I will defend you." Dai took a breath and closed his eyes before opening them again and looking up at him Dai continued to give answers. "You will be well fed I will even cook for you if you'd like... You may sleep here in the garden as I often do or in the room across from mine it is yours to decorate and claim... You will rest whenever you feel it necessary or whenever I deem it needed... I will ensure no nightmares trouble you... I am the spirit of dreams and nightmares after all."

Felipe was very worried for Hiro and made sure to keep quiet and out of the way when Shiro somehow managed to revive the other spirit. Feli let out a long breath. "Mr.Hiro... Please... Don't do that again..." Feli frowned the worry evident on his face. "It brings up bad memories... And even if you did kidnap me and Ama...Amaterasu? I would prefer if you did not injure yourself." The worry and concern was evident in Feli's eyes and face but he did not get to close to Hiro with Shiro nearby... Frankly Shiro scared Feli a little... He did not seem happy with anything... Except for Hiro... But still Feli shook off such thoughts he'd told himself he would be strong and helpful starting off with a slight fear would not help that in anyway shape or form!

Hiro Kobayashi & Shiro Kobayashi

Hiro bowed again hurriedly,"I-I'm so sorry! You don't have to worry...it really is rare for me to go that deep into the labyrinth." Hiro's smile was the same bright one as usual. Shiro saw that Hiro was know fine, and it seemed as all his strength was taken away. He slowly sat down and leaned on top of the wall...Hiro is right this is a rare event. It only happens when Hiro's past is triggered...this is why I didn't want Hiro interacting with the Humans.

"This was quite the experience...Hiro what were you thinking about to go that far in?" Shiro knew the Humans didn't understand what they were talking about so he was being quiet when asking the question. Hiro looked at Shiro sadly,"Mom."

At this word Shiro's face turned cold, and he no longer showed anything on his face. That one word explained everything...and it was never a good sign. Shiro didn't sigh, he didn't shake his head, he just stayed silent for a few minutes. Hiro looked at Shiro,"Brother...I'm sorry. I know you told me not to...But-" Hiro was cut short when Hiro held his hand up signaling him to be quiet.

"Hiro...just don't do it anymore...you're only hurting yourself by remembering that woman." For a split second Shiro showed a pained expression, and whispered softly to Hiro,"Even if you can go into the past...you can't change what we have done...you just can't...so stop it Hiro." Hiro looked as if he was going to protest, but stopped when he saw Shiro's rare pained expression. That was the sign he really did go to far, and Hiro yielded, "Yes Sir."

Hiro moved the event pass him and smiled at Felipe and Amaterasu,"Well, you met us, and probably figured out part of our personalities." Hiro glanced over at Shiro who had his head down, and smiled mischievously at Felipe and Amaterasu. In a hushed voice he whispered to them," You know even though Shiro looks like that...he's quite simple. He gets embarrassed very easily when you give him compliments, and is easily jealous of others. He also gets really lonely. It's really fun, I promise it'll be a blast...and a simple way to break through his ice wall, Felipe." Hiro smiled at the two who stared up at him. Shiro saw they were whispering and moved closer, sitting next Hiro. Hiro smirked as he saw that Shiro was lonely, even though he didn't show it on his face. He glanced over at the other two, giving them a I-told-you-so smile.

Shiro leaned on one of the poles and looked straight at the Humans,"Okay...questions." Hiro took this chance to start braiding Shiro's long hair. Shiro glanced at Hiro, than back at the Human's not caring anymore.

"What do you expect from me?... What exactly is it that you want me to do for you? I'm really not good at anything... Nothing useful anyways." The girl's words gave Kaska pause. What did she want from the human? It had been so long since the last one that she had to take a moment to think. Finally as the answers appeared she began to speak, only to find Shiori taking a seat facing the garden.

"If I... Do well, could I go earlier?... A decade might not be much for you but... For a human that's quite a long time. I know I don't have much room to bargain... And I really don't understand this whole debt thing but..." Shiori hugged her knees and as Kaska watched the human's eyes began to tear. As Shiori hid her face in her knees Kaska took a seat beside the girl and put a comforting hand on her back. Kaska's views of human's might not have been the best but she could tell when one was sad.

"I don't know when the debt will be paid, I leave that stuff to Dai." Kaska told her softly, she bit her lip and wondered if she should lie to make the girl feel better. She decided against it, lying never solved anything. "I promise not to be harsh or ask things that is beyond you... but there's nothing I can do about shortening your stay." Kaska paused, trying to find something that might cheer the girl up. "While you're here though you can decorate your room however you want and you can treat my garden as if it were your own." Kaska smiled, her cheerful voice returning as she thought of another positive, "And you aren't the only one! You'll have the other four humans to play with. You can visit them anytime! Come on! We can go find one now. Who do you want to see?" Kaska was thrilled with her idea and waited eagely beside Shiori, hoping that her tears would stop.

Kaska couldn't help but think that human's had got a lot more complicated than the last time they had had them at the Shrine. Then again last time they had been given to them by the town and not kidnapped. She supposed that Shiori was allowed to be a little sad... but the human's had made a promise and that promise had been broken.

Questions, questions should she ask? Wondered the brunette, she spoke far too much for her comfort. As long as they donā€™t ask for her to speak much then the chance of them getting along was high. As for the questioningā€¦ she paused in her thoughts. Taking the split second to take a glimpse of the tanned man the girl let her thoughts continue.

It be logical to think that the same questions she would ask would be ask by him as well. Not to appear anti-social, sweet Buddha, what was this girl thinking. The definition of loner never left her. They could ask Shiori and Ninna to verify thatā€¦ They are schoolmates after all. Or in Shioriā€™s case they are classmates.

Like how she stays up the school roof to eat her lunch alone with the view of the line cherry blossoms along the school yard. The wind cascading around her body, it played with her long untied hair. Making it a mess and letting fly with the wind. She liked the rooftop, during the time of the cherry blossoms itā€™s sweet scent carried by the ever gentle wind scented the place with its calming scent. From the school it gave her a good view of the mountain and the old abandoned shrine. From the left of the shrine was the centuries old graveyard that even to this day the people still use to bury their dead.

Hey, what do you expect from a rural town away from the mainland?

Usually this place possessed more superstitious elders rather than back at the place she was born and raised in. Tokyoā€¦ did she look like a city girl? Wellā€¦ If her inexistent social life existed maybeā€¦ perhaps she would act like one.

If onlyā€¦she actually learned to be sociable.

If only she learned some people skills.

Heh,

The girl in all her silence moved just like a ghost towards the porch where she soon sat watching the three interact. Felipe soft scolding towards Hiro already spoke so much of the boy. Heā€™s caring even to the people that literally kidnapped them from their beds. Not like she complainedā€¦ actually, this was a new experience she was still trying to grasp. What did they expect from a social outcast? Harsh? Yes but quite the truth. Worry, it spelled clearly on Felipeā€™s face. Her own thoughts merely voiced out the same things Felipe spoke but she didnā€™t speak it out loud.

What kind of an introvert would she be if she spoke it out? Certainly not herā€¦ Her face still remained ever so blank but in her eyes a flicker of worry did appear. Did they manage to already crack her wall? A small chibi version of the girl wearing worker clothes quickly ran to inspect it. Pretty soon theyā€™ll probably just abandon her, or leave her in a room lock up for eternity.
Jeezā€¦ so much for faith in humaniā€”Errā€¦ the spirit world.

Trust always was an issue for herā€¦ not like she ever showed she cared about it. But itā€™s nice to see she does have a small piece that actually cares for it. No matter how much she wanted to strangle that piece of her and just crawl at the far side of the room and sketch.

Yupā€¦ such a recluse she is.

Raising her head from the ground she found herself staring at she looked back towards the conversation. The silent child listened as Hiro poked fun with his twin. Hmmā€¦ would it be the same if her brother was here right now?
Nope not really,

Her lips moved to speak then paused as Shiro took the chance to do so. Questionsā€¦

Questions, maybe she should let Felipe do that? Speaking always did make her feel a bit opened. A gentle breeze flapped its wings around the garden itā€™s invisible hands caressed the gentle blooms of the purple and pink trees as they also followed the direction the wind dragged them too. Soft flowering flowers on the ground swayed in a dance along with it. In the air, the sweet scent of the wild flowers and the sakura mixed in gentle harmony. All in all, it was such a peaceful garden. A brown bird chirped and flew around the twins beforeā€¦ it perched right a top her head.

ā€œā€¦.ā€ Not even a twitch. Well except for a light quirk of her eyebrow did she react to the bird that was currently sitting at the crown of her hair, her eyes were still on them. Finally her lips moved again, ā€œā€¦What about lodging? And what exactly do we need to do?ā€ She finally asked in that equally quiet voice Hiro first heard from her. The girl found no reason to raise her voice higher than her original tone which was to say. Sounded more like a whisper than anything else.

Ninna Olla
Ninna heard her master stomp off, but didn't let it bother her. Honestly? All she did was say that she would like to be left alone for now, and that would be expected of her. After all, she was just abducted from her house in her sleep and woke to find four others in the same predicament as her. Ninna sighed. Okay, maybe it was bothering her a little, but there was nothing she could do now. She already walked to far to follow.
Ninna stopped. This is not what I started meditating for. She started looking into past events and gathered proof that it wasn't a prank. 'That was fast...' Ninna thought, thinking of the blond haired one's ears and tail. God, she was horrible with names... The silent and mean looking one was his twin, although they seemed completely opposite from each other, personality wise. 'Just like in a movie...' Ninna thought. She quickly went through to see if she could possibly be stuck in one of those hardcore reality 'Abduction' TV shows. Her conclusion: Maybe, you can do amazing things with technology nowadays... 'Damn it, stay on topic!' She thought to herself. The blue haired one needs to sleep more. He stays up during the night so that... 'What did he control again? Damn it, I have the worst memory ever!' She thought angrily to herself. 'Focus!'
This continued for about another five minutes of her going over radical possibilities of what was really going one before she gave up her analysis. She was just to excited to meditate properly. In the end, after fishing a fine tailored sleeping gown out of the dresser, she gave up and curled up in bed. She folded her clothes neatly near the foot of the bed. Because of the untimely... time of their kidnapping, she wasn't wearing any shoes. She was actually wearing her workout uniform, because she was to tired to take it off yesterday. Ninna closed her eyes and thought of her father, her mother, all the others at the dojo. She felt a massive weight on her chest as she thought: 'What if I never see them again?' She felt like crying, but stopped herself. 'What is wrong with you? you're tougher than that, take it like a man!' She snickered. Look at herself, calling herself a man. After all, just like her father said, it was okay to cry when you're sad. God, she missed him already. 'Alright, that's enough.' Said her ego. 'Go to sleep!' It commanded, and it took her too long to comply.

āœ KENT LACH

Kent nodded slowly, attempting yet again to wrap his mind around all the information he was being fed. The whole entire situation was completely crazy, if he told anyone else this was happening they would probably think he was just joking with them. It was unbelievable, to think that spirits could exist, that someone could stop him from aging. At the same time though, here he was, believing it. There was no way this man in front of him, could have carried him all the way to, well wherever they were, from where he had been. Not without some sort of help. Of course, he could have easily been lying and had someone else carry him. But really, it didn't seem like he was getting out of the place anytime soon- there was no telling how much time he was going to have to spend with Daiki until he deemed his debt was repaid. Fortunately it seemed that he wasn't going to have to do all too much, not that he would have complained a lot. Though he did happen to be quite lazy sometimes. The spirit even went as far to say that he would stick up for him, something he was certainly not expecting.

Almost hesitantly, he asked, "Would it be... acceptable if we ate here instead? At least for now... I'm still trying to get used to the idea of one spirit- five seems a bit unsettling." He really wasn't sure what to expect as an answer, but it didn't hurt to ask. "And perhaps later, if it isn't asking too much, you could show me to that room?" It seemed the spirit didn't sleep very often, or so he had assumed. Which meant that he would be awake, and sleeping in the garden while someone else was awake and could possibly be watching made him a bit, uh, nervous.

Daiki blinked. His human certainly asked allot of questions... "Of course..." Daiki closed his blue eyes allowing himself to rest for a moment sleep wanted to pull him down into it's murky depths he wanted to dream of beautiful things he would and could then share with everyone else why they slept so they would all be well rested... But he could not... It was still to early and there was so much to do... Opening his tired eyes Dai looked up at Kent blue eyes clashing with gold... But Dai never allowed emotion to leak into his eyes... Or not many emotions... He did not wish to scare the human... But it was bound to happen... Kent was bound to hate him or find him freakish... Even when there had been other humans before they had all feared him to an extent... Perhaps it was because of how he'd fought back in the times or war... Perhaps it was because he mentioned his ability over both the plains that are dreams and nightmares...

Blinking to cut the gave between the two Dai shakily pulled himself to stand. He hated how he appeared so fragile and yet still scared others... He would rather be thought off as delicate then a creature of nightmares... But he wold not allow his sleepiness and shaky-ness. "Hm... Please follow." Dai stepped down into the soft grass and began to make his rounds of the garden he gazed into the deep clear random pools around the sunny side of the garden admiring the strange ruins or columns or other objects that colorful fish swam around... He checked the hydrangeas in the shadowy part of the garden next ensuring they were healthy and finally he checked each sunflower... Yes there were many but each one he was just as careful with as the last... He would feel the petals and smell the sweet honey smell the golden flowers gave off. When he was finished with his care of his flowers he finally walks back into the shadows following the rock path over the delicate water he slipped into the trees moving deeper into his wild garden. Each new area was just as unique as the last and in each area he stopped to pick some fruit. An apple here... A plum... Some wild strawberries... When the spirit was pleased with his bounty he turned abruptly and handed the colorful mixture of fruit to Kent... He held it out like a peace offering all the while keeping his eyes locked onto the ground refusing to look up at the tall blonde and scare him with his piercing gaze.

Felipe blinked... Hiro had asked him to give Shiro a chance... That Shiro was shy and... Jealous? Hiro had to be joking? Right... Ok well... Maybe not... Once upon a time Feli had not been such a happy boy yet people had given him a chance he had to give off the same courtesy! Fine... He would give spirit a chance... Even if he was a little scary. Slowly reeling himself out of his thoughts Feli looked over at Amaterasu... Her whispers were hard to hear but the questions she asked were the ones Feli was going to ask anyway ok well... Feli had allot more questions but one thing at a time! "Umm..." Feli thought about how to word his questions he was careful with it after all what if he insulted someone! That would simply not do when he was trying to make friends. "Are we allowed to explore the shrine and gardens? A-and... Are we allowed to see the other humans... I mean!" Feli's face lit up. He'd just told himself not to word the questions wrong! And here he sounded like he'd not taken Amaterasu into account! And that he wanted to run away.

Now feeling embarrassed Feli closed his blue/green orb like eyes and spoke quickly. "I-I mean... I-I know Amaterasu i-is here b-but I kinda wanna meet and be friends with everyone! A-And the shrine seems so big so I wanna see everything so I don't get lost and cause troubles and end up being useless! Ahh! I'm talking so much I'm sorry!" Feli forced his mouth to close when he bowed and shoved his now tan and very red face into his hands. He refused to open his eyes! He would keep his eyes closed until the sky fell anything to not see Shiro's annoyed face looking down at him... The spirit wanted someone quiet and he got Feli... Feli wasn't quiet! Feli was curious and loud and happy... He'd messed up already he knew it. Slowly lifting his face back up but keeping his hand over his face he parted his fingers... And opened one of his warm shy eyes to the purple world of Hiro's garden... He wanted to see anything but annoyance on Shiro's face...

Hiro Kobayashi & Shiro Kobayashi

Hiro paused as Amaterasu took the first step, and asked a question. He smiled more to himself than to them, when he heard her small voice in a whisper. It let Hiro know that she probably didn't speak all that much, which he was fine with. Felipe on the other hand sounded like Hiro when he was trying to introduce himself earlier in the day. This caused Hiro to let out a laugh, which he quickly sucked back in. He looked at Shiro to see his reaction to Felipe's mumbling, and rather than a blank expression, he showed a different face.

Hiro smirked,"So you can make that kind of face to other people? I'm jealous now, I thought you only gave me that look." Hiro was laughing while he continued to braid Shiro's hair. He whistled to the birds in an alluring sound. Immediately the small birds started to bring flowers toward Hiro. Once they all had at least one, they began to drop them around Hiro's body. Hiro thanked the birds, and picked up the flowers one by one as he braided it into Shiro's hair.

Shiro didn't seem to notice this crime. He was still stuck on Hiro's last statement, about his face. Shiro couldn't see it,but he knew what kind of face he was making. His face wasn't...annoyed...but it wasn't happy. It was a mixture of disbelief and amusement without the smile. Shiro didn't look at Hiro, keeping his face to the side,"I do't know what you mean?"

Hiro gave a sneaky smile,"Your surprised aren't you? Isn't this the first time, that a human actually spoke to you? Usually they would be to scared, since your not the nicest person." Shiro's expression changed back to it's normal blank state,"Shut up Hiro." Hiro snickered at Shiro, he than turned to the Humans with a rare serious expression, which caught them off guard.

"Well...So many questions...Okay, to start off...lodging. It's...different with me and Shiro, unlike the other spirits... we sleep in the same place. One day I will be in his garden and the next in mine. It's quite rare to see us apart...so I believe it's really up to you guys where you want to stay. We are always prepared so we have enough extra rooms for you two in either garden, but if you don't like traveling you can just stay in the garden of your choice. I'll make sure to show you guys the rooms in this garden and then the rooms in Shiro's garden."

Shiro nodded in agreement, it wasn't a huge nod, but it was noticeably enough. He glanced over at Amaterasu, than at Felipe. He seemed to be pondering about something, his staring lasted for a good few minutes, before he let out a silent sigh. "I guess, I'm going to be the bad guy. The reason you are here is to repay a debt that was forgotten a long time ago. Here you will most likely work, clean, and do other various things. You will also get to enjoy yourselves and have some fun, so don't worry. How long you'll stay here...a decade or more." Shiro said this in a rehearsed voice, like it was a normal thing to say.

Hiro quickly changed the subject, so that the Humans wouldn't start to worry," To answer your other questions! Yes and No. You are able to explore the shrine, even visit other spirit's gardens. But with Shiro's and my garden there are some rules. One, you aren't allowed to go into the dark side of our gardens. Two, don't touch my cherry tree or Shiro's moon flower. Three, Do not cut down or pull out any trees, root, flowers, or weeds.. And Four, you may not wonder past the bridges, in either of our gardens without are supervision" He pointed to the bridge that led to another side of the garden.

Hiro saw the worry on Felipe's face. He knew that he was thinking about the others more than himself at the moment. He was probably worried about...Kent...if Hiro could remember correctly. Hiro laughed a little as he looked at Felipe's facial expression," And don't worry, you guys will be able to see the other Humans quite frequently. So...any other questions?"

āœ KENT LACH

Kent had one of those lives that could be made into a movie. Never knew his father- he left before he was born. And his mother OD'd when he was sixteen. Ironically, he had had to go to court for that one. Apparently they thought his mother was giving him drugs too, or that he gave his mother the drugs, or something along the lines of it all. Anyways, the case was over and done with before a week had even passed- no one believed a sixteen year old could do something like that. And while Kent probably could have, he hadn't. His mother was never really good for anything, but he wouldn't kill her- he wasn't psychotic. Besides, since he had basically raised himself since birth, it made him tougher. And he supposed that he would probably be doing drugs too if it wasn't for her, so he had that to thank her for. Though he did smoke- usually a pack a day, religiously.

It didn't seem like he was going to be doing much smoking here though. On the inside he sighed, not exactly thrilled about being forced to break his habit, but at the same time he was sort on glad. In reality he knew it wasn't good for him to be smoking anyways, so he could consider this a good thing. Even if it meant he was going to be a bit grumpy, perhaps he would just explain it to Daiki. Or, he would if the spirit asked. If he didn't, he didn't want to bother him. He shouldn't have asked so many questions either, it was just difficult to not be extremely, terribly curious.

When he noticed the spirit rise, Kent immediately jumped to his feet and reached out to help steady the other man if he needed help. Though he was afraid to touch him- he still wasn't sure how this spirit thing worked. Was he actually like... there? Or would his hand go straight through him? That didn't seem like something you could just ask, really. The other instructed him to follow and he nodded, not quite sure why he did but... he listened and went obediently with Daiki. For a while the spirit took care of the flowers, which wasn't all that fun for Kent but he stayed quiet. It seemed almost as if these flowers were the only thing Daiki had had, so he couldn't bring himself to make any comments- even if he was bored out of his mind.

Eventually they left that part of the garden though and went towards what appeared to just be another section of the garden. He wondered how long the land went on for, and how much of it Daiki actually used and what was just, well, basically free. They seemed to be moving deeper into the garden, and the spirit had started collecting fruit. He thought about offering his help, like saying he would carry the basket or something, when suddenly he was stopped and the basket was handed to him. At first he went a bit wide eyed, staring at the blue haired man who seemed to be very focused on the ground. Hesitantly, he took the basket in one hand and reached out with the other, lightly touching the other- admittedly surprised when his hand didn't go through him. "Thanks."

Shiori Nazuka

Shiori took another deep breath before wiping her eyes and raising her head to look to Kaska as she spoke. It was the first time she had really taken a moment to look her over since they had met. She was surprised at the kindness she saw and even a bit captivated by the odd shade of her hair.

"I don't know when the debt will be paid, I leave that stuff to Dai. I promise not to be harsh or ask things that is
beyond you... but there's nothing I can do about shortening your stay."

She wasn't really surprised by this answer, in response all she could muster was a small sigh as she turned her gaze back towards the garden. Guess I really am stuck here then... Well, at least Kaska seems nice... Then again she did kidnap me in the first place. Shiori shook her head and stretched with her arms straight up in the air in an attempt to relax herself and perhaps rid herself of some of her negative attitude.

"While you're here though you can decorate your room however you want and you can treat my garden as if it were your own. And you aren't the only one! You'll have the other four humans to play with. You can visit them anytime! Come on! We can go find one now. Who do you want to see?"

She raised her brow in response to Kaska's odd choice of words. The idea of decorating her room wasn't particularly appealing, even at home her room was pretty bare. Shiori wasn't particularly pleased with how Kaska worded the second part of her comment however. "Well... I'm not interested in seeing any of them really, they're not my friends... They probably wouldn't like me anyways." She decided to withhold her opinion about Kaska's choice of words for the moment. "And, you didn't really answer my earlier question... About what you actually want me to do for you?" Her hope was that this question would be enough to change the topic away from visiting the others.

If only they knew her prior to the kidnapping, if only that had been possible. Well in theory it actually is and that she can safely say only one person probably saw it. Hiro stated before that he saw their past. There the man would probably notice how the girlā€¦ barely spoke, or at all. For that she was thankful t see that the person she was supposed to be serving didnā€™t mind.
Though the said person is also her kidnapperā€¦

Which she didnā€™t mind as well, she listened to the twins as they explained the answers. Cooking, cleaning,-- Her mind reeled back to the cleaning part. The girl tried to remember if she actually did do those things. Aside from her roomā€¦ no, they never allowed her. Hell they barely allowed her to do her room.

The only reason she did so was because sheā€™s extremely adamant that no one touched the black book in her hand or charm she got from her friend. Those are her only treasures which she would rather not have anyone touch or break. Whichever of the two works,

The charmā€¦ her eyes widened slightly in alarm then quickly rummaged her pocket for it. The familiar silk casing soon greeted her touch. Goodā€¦ still here, she mentally sighed in relief. She didnā€™t know what she would do if something happens to it. She held the small black book she has closer to her chest as they spoke. She didnā€™t speak again, instead the girl already started to weigh the pros and cons as well as think of how she would be able to handle the situation.

Cleaning she can always learn. She actually wanted to learn the things she missed out and the things normal teenagers do. Like make friends orā€”

She pulled back the thoughts deep inside her subconscious. Damn, she nearly let it get away. Not even a day and being with these people are cracking her walls. She paused on the though, did she actually wanted to keep the wallā€¦ What silly notion,
She needed her wall or she would break againā€¦

Her mind came back when she heard Shiroā€™s voice speak. A debtā€¦? The hell was this debt anyway? Clear confusion marred the delicately look on her face once again pushing the blank one to the side. Think girl, the answer had to be here somewhereā€¦

ā€œā€¦You donā€™t have to take me into account Felipe-san I donā€™t really mindā€¦ā€ The girl replied after the silence on her side. Here her limit is being tested, itā€™s clear the girl still has problems when it comes to talking to others. ā€œIā€¦never really learned to clean so much since my parents never allowed me too but I can always learnā€¦ā€ She added to the chores part. Cooking she can do, the only thing is she didnā€™t know what they wanted.

From its perch the bird chirped happily seeing its friends flew by each with a flower for Hiro. It stayed on the girlā€™s head before it flew and it perched itself into Hiroā€™s. She could already see how close the twins wereā€¦ and how silly Shiro looked with the flowers braided into his hair. Waitā€¦ silly? She didnā€™t know why she thought of it, and where it popped up. But there was another thing on the girlā€™s mindā€¦ ā€œAs for the travelling part I donā€™t know about Felipe-san but Iā€™m fine with itā€¦ā€ She added in a curt and quiet voice. Thereā€™s also the fact that the girl has medical issues. Silently she placed a hand on her chest where her heart is. Crud, her medicationsā€¦ oh well as long as nothing happensā€¦

Ninna Olla
Ninna opened her eyes. She heard familiar footsteps outside the door. "It is Yajirushi, forgive any interruption. I have a job for you." Ninna shot out of bed at her clothes. "Yes, coming." She said, getting dressed as fast as she could. She challenged herself every morning by getting into her clothes as fast as possible. While she was doing that, she began to wonder what she could be doing. Cleaning? Cooking? Talking? All of which seemed monochromatic and somewhat boring, depending on the specifics. A prime example of this is cleaning. If she is cleaning something hard to get too, the top of a shelf, for example, she would be willing to do so as long as she can climb the shelf. As for cooking, catching the food, such as a chicken, before cooking it would fit into her acceptable range of chores. Talking is usually very, very boring unless she is training or sparing with someone. She impressed her father once by maintaining a conversation with him while beating the crap out of two karate masters, a feat few could probably accomplish. When she got dressed, she opened the door and looked up and Yajirushi. "Ready." She said.
