Personality:
Two key aspects, seemingly contradictory of each other exist within her, first a need to nurture and protect, and the inability to intentionally bring harm to a fledgling. In this nurture, too, she seeks to find comfort, give comfort, it encompasses her gentleness, and her ideal image of being "human." There is, too, the inquiring mind, and a strange sense of humor, mischievous and playful, toying just for reactions, or affection, rather than malice.
The other side, is nature, ravenous and destructive, vengeful, with all the qualities of an apex predator, and natural disaster. Unlike a person, she can detach herself from feeling through her instincts, stimuli based on necessity over sentimentality, even if the necessity was initially spawned of a feeling. In her mind, she is preventing herself from corruption, pushing away from dark pleasures that she has grown to believe present from what she deciphered of human relics.
She was spawned from the primordial muck of swamp lands, among the sunken remains of human civilization. It was here where she started consuming, assimilating the various fauna that now dominated the ecosystem, witch each growing both literally, and mentally. It wasn't just a drive for survival, however, but a hunt for purpose, and the more she grew, the more she understood how she was alone. She would find, even if she could imitate it, she would never belong amongst the beasts of the land, they were things of nature, purely, and she was... that and more. And still, being more didn't change the fact, that in her uniqueness, she was alone, without any before her, and no legacy after.
But the builders... of what she knew, they were also creatures apart from nature, with minds that questioned, and grew. Several years she spent, assimilating remains of these creatures, and studying their artifacts, she has pieced together, in part, what these creatures may have been like, and their... parental system with offspring. It was here, she thought, that this is what her purpose could be.
All that is missing, is to find these creatures, and study them...
