Francois kept watching the different dancers dancing. They were really good. He wished he could match their rhythm. Physically nothing they did was hard for him, but he simply struggled to get it "down". One of the girls at the meet introduced herself as Jordan. Francois was glad to become part of the group. She also introduced a friend of hers, his name was Chase. Taking another sip from the Gatorade, Francois was happy to see Aoife arriving. She gave him a hug, and he surely appreciated her black hot pants.
"Hey girl" he greeted her with a smile. Francois noticed what seemed to him like embarrassment in the body language of Chase and Jordan when Aoife asked them if they were a couple. He did not want to add to anything so he simply remained silent.

The dancing was really crazy tonight, the music was loud, and Francois was happy and felt he could finally relax. The last couple of days had certainly been hectic. Starting out at his new school he discovered the workload was quite rough. Then he had signed up for gymnastics classes which had exhausted him since he was not in gymnastics shape anymore. Also he had spent countless hours listening to music and trying his best to dance to it in his room while doing homework. It certainly was beginning to pay dividends as he felt himself more in tune with the beat.

Francois decided tonight he was going to take it easy and simply dance with the music, without using his great flexibility and strength to impress people. Once again he considered his stroke of luck that Aoife was here, she was like a tonic to relax him and put him on edge. It was certainly a paradox.

Aoife's pleading look tugged straight at Francois' heart. "I'm sorry. I have been a little preoccupied tonight. So whats going on at school besides rumors?"

Pedro dropped Lawrene off in front of his apartment.
"Didn't even get to enjoy the party.." Pedro whined. "And look what happened to my beautiful car!"
The rear window of his car had been destroyed by a bullet that was shot by the mobsters.
Lawrence chuckled. "Well, its really nice to know that we have people who want us dead again. I think I'll be able to sleep better tonight."
"I hate your sarcasm. Anyways, I better get my car fixed up. Peace out Kenjiro. And stay away from them alcoholic drinks."
Pedro got back in his car and drove off.

"Great.. Just great." Lawrence muttered to himself. "Here it goes again.. A life of crime and lies.
Lawrence went back into his apartment and chugged down a couple shots of whiskey. He paced back and forth until he hesitatingly picked up his phone and began calling a number scribled on a notepad.
"Hello?" A woman's voice answered.
"Hey Diane.. This is Lawrence. How are things? Baby is all grown up now huh?"
'Lawrence? Oh, its nice to hear from someone these days.. You're still with Tommy right? Is he alright? Are you two still on that long-term business project in Arabia?"
"Listen... We need to talk about something.."
