Introduction
No matter what you do you deserve a happily ever after too. Not that even our bests intentions are perfect. You are either a manga-ka, editor, assistant, printer or someone that works in Suzuki editing company. The manga category that Suzuki editing company usually works with and is a big part of the story line is Shoujo, harem and romance. Angst can be in the story but not what it's revolved around. You can write yaoi, shounen-ai or whatever on the side. Everyone has a editor, you may end up sharing editors. Manga-ka's can of course have more than one assistant. Lastly you don't have to just have romantic relations, friends and enemies should be explored too. (Boys Love, Yaoi rp)
Manga-ka
° Naoi Akisora
° Cael
° Yuko Yamazaki
° Sasaki Shouta
° ???
Editors
° Luka Crosszeria
° Hoshi Takahashi
° Ciel
° Nikolai
° Kori Frost
Assistants (They just help the manga-ka draw in backgrounds and add speech. I'll make spots as requested, 5 at most.)
° Felix
° ???
Suzuki Editing Company
° Victor (Suzuki) Vandyke (The Suzuki owner)
° Marcus (Suzuki) Simmons (Suzuki Heir)
° ??? (Head of the editors)
Note: Assistants will be added next to their manga-ka. I'll be assigning them unless you specifically want a certain manga-ka. The editors will have a similar process. Also the people who work at the printers can be added if that's something anyone really wants to do. The heir/owner must hold the last name Suzuki. We will use the Japanese endings but if your character is just the type not to use them or to call every one by their first names then ok.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 6 authors
He let go of Hoshi, and took a hold of his pipe that he set down, he didn't smoke it because the pipe had died down. Though he did, tuck it away inside his kimono and it disappeared in the fabric. He took a deep breath running his hand through his hair, tilting his head a bit, with his eyes closed and face relaxed. The blonde strains of hair, tangled within his fingers, slowly flowing back into place. The kimono on the other hand had slipped slightly on his should, revealing a par of his bare chest that he had paid no attention to, walking more inside towards the plates. Picking them up he walked over to the kitchen, placing them next to the sink, his eyes stared down at his plate full of food, for an odd reason he couldn't feel hungry. He had sunk into his character mode once again.
This was Ciel's job after all and being thanked for helping out his Manga-Ka was just ridiculous. In fact, he'd wish Naoi would use him more, but he'd never bring himself to say something like that because no matter how you put it, it sounds like a slave begging his master. With that taking this out of the gutter now, he pulled himself away from Naoi, just before his mind went into a deep thought of something he shouldn't be thinking of. Was to early for that and Ciel was still slightly tired, yet wide awake all in one. "You ate?" He asked Naoi raising his brow just slightly, his hand on his hip, but just more like resting there as his other hand he was leaning on as it rested on the back of Naoi's seat.
Naoi had the tendency to forget sometimes, so lecturing him on eating was only normal for these two. After all he did forget about the due date, which concerns Ciel a bit more then it should. If they were late with this manga, Victor wouldn't be easy to deal with. Hardly like he ever is. That old man couldn't be ever easy to be around. Which reminded him. "Victor, he is incharge of the book fair. I hope that didn't slip your mind on having to go this year. I had gotten news on him wanting to get all the famous editors there together in one room, but I am unsure of what he has panned after that."
Cael always seemed to be wearing one of those damned kimonos. Hoshi didn't really care, but they seemed so... Revealing. He simply wouldn't wear one himself. Hoshi hid his hands in his pockets to keep them warm.
He could only assume what Cael was asking for had something to do with writing, but Cael's tone said something else, Hoshi wasn't entirely sure if he liked this either. People who acted this way he disliked, when their attitude deceived their actions, and things would grow confusing. "With work?" He persisted. Hoshi couldn't deny that he was curious.
"you ate?" Ciel asked, and Naoi blinked a few times. How could I forget about eating.... "I was busy so I neglected to find the time to sit down and eat.." Naoi blushed, even though Ciel was his editor and this was once again his job... He just still wished he didn't have to make Ciel worry about him so much.
Naoi's blush dissapeared at the mention of the book fair. "Yes, I remember. I can't wait to meet with all my fans, they're the sunlight and water to my seedling." Naoi loved getting letters from his fans and seeing his characters being cosplayed. It was what made him work so hard.
For all the things Naoi let slip through his mind and sway around in the breeze untill suddenly he was faced with them, the book fair was the one thing he'd made sure to remember. He always remembered things that he loved, a reason why deadlines seemed to become hazier as time went on.
He stood up and picked up another dart, throwing it at the 'stress' poster. "I'll see what I can do about the details, but I probably won't be able to finish a new chapter for a while..."
Nikolai probably spent longer in the shower than he intended, but it didn't matter too much. For a long while, he enjoyed the feel of the steaming hot water on his tired skin, letting it soak his dark purple hair. It felt so good to relax, and gradually his thoughts turned to the day ahead of him. He was slightly tired, but the invigorating shower had refreshed him, and he began to look forward to spending the day ahead enjoying himself. Nikolai stepped out of the shower, and wrapped a towel around himself before making his way to his bedroom to get shrug some clothes on.
He went through the menial actions of dressing himself and getting ready to go out without thinking about it. A plan for his day slowly formed in his mind. First, he'd finish dressing, and then he would go out for something to eat, or maybe just get a coffee. And then, he would call up Sasaki and tell him about the progress he'd made. Nikolai knew Sasaki would appreciate that. After he'd spoken to him, he'd come home and finish those letters to his family, before spending the evening with a pleasant book. It didn't really sound like a lot, but it was already mid morning and he had no intention of doing anything quickly.
By the time Nikolai had decided what he'd do that day, he was completely dressed, and his hair had dried. He paused, just before leaving, to regard himself in the mirror. He was dressed simply in smart black jeans and a clean white shirt. The top few buttons were undone, parting to reveal the top of his smooth chest. His hair was tied back, keeping it out of his emerald eyes, though a few strands escaped and hung across his brow. It was a casual look, but it was a look that worked for him. Before he left his home, he stopped once more by his desk to pick up his copies of the mangas as they were with his edits, his glasses, which he put in his pocket, and his phone.
Carrying his work in a briefcase, and slipping on a dark jacket, he left his house, leaving it unlocked as usual. Nikolai lived in a safe area, and he highly doubted anyone would sneak in. And even if they did, he had all of his valuable belongings on him. He lived simply, and so owned little of material value. He strolled down the road thoughtfully, his eyes wandering the street thoughtfully. A day this pleasant normally made him sleepy, but he had a purpose, and he knew rest would evade him until he had at least spoken to Sasaki.
The little shop he frequented often was busy when he arrived and ordered a coffee. Taking it to a table, he sat in a quiet corner, and took a sip as he pulled his phone from his pocket. He idly checked for messages before flicking over to his contacts, and searching for Sasaki. He rang him and waited patiently for him to answer so that he could arrange to meet.
Father would always to this when ever he saw Kori rising to be the best, always trying to make him fall, but somehow he knew father was only doing this because he cared. Letting Kori know that no matter what happens, he would always be there for him, even if it was in a mean way. A year later his father passed away, he had gotten really sick and couldn't cure himself from it. For Kori's mother, she had died giving birth to him in the ER, she got to see him, she smiled and passed away. The grandparents died long before Kori was born, only leaving Kori to spend the rest of his life with his uncle Jack. Jack raised Kori from the age of 13 to now. Recently Kori had moved out of Jack's home to live on his own. They do still talk nearly everyday, when he can find time to call Kori.
Kori gasped the sound of his phone startled him, nearly making him drop his hot chocolate right out of his hands. Trying to balance the hot chocolates in one hand, he pulled out his phone and smiled once he saw who was calling. "..Felix.." Sighing his friends name into some kind of relief. "Are you ok? You're not hurt are you?" Becoming worried, Kori's face looked a little sad. Always caring for his best friend to be ok, he was easily worried.
Felix and Kori had been friends for a long while now, it seems they have been friends around the time Felix and his brother moved into town, nearly around the same time Kori was developing problems of his own. It worked out, they both had someone to talk to. Even though Felix was old then Kori, he still felt that he had someone around his age to speak to things about.
The sound of the bus drove by Kori as he didn't walk onto the bus and turned around to face the wall as he talked into the phone, trying to hide his worried expression from the world.
"Felix...Are you ok? You're not hurt are you?"
At the sound of his friend's voice, Felix instantly grinned. He loved Kori, well, he loved most people, but he loved Kori deeply as a friend. He giggled, and put his sketch pad aside, though he continued to play with the pencil. Felix smiled, but he felt it fade a little. There was something wrong with the tone of his friend's voice. He sounded nervous and wary, and why would he be asking if he was okay? Of course he was.
"Kori! Hey, yeah, I'm great...Why wouldn't I be?" Felix replied brightly, running a hand through his messy blonde hair. He frowned and then paused before asking him, "Are you alright, Kori? Something sounds wrong..."
That also closed the question of whether or not he would be seeing Kori today. Felix knew him well, and he knew that his normally bright and cheery friend was prone to moments of sadness, just like himself. And that made Felix feel a pang of sadness. He really hated when his friends were sad or down. It meant that whether Kori liked it or not, he'd make his way over to him to cheer him up. As Felix waited for an answer, he gathered up the sketch pad that he'd barely even touched, and took it back inside.
Kori slowly smiled, pressing his against the wall of a building new the bus stop. "Yes don't worry, I am alright. Did you need anything?"
The sound of an ambulance zoomed by, but it didn't really scare him, his mind was lost in his own thoughts. The wind of the vehicle caused his hair to fly around, like an angered wind passing through. The loud ring of the echoing sound of the alarms on the vehicle brushed inside his ears and whole body. A little time after a police car flew by, making the same echoing sound even more effective. It was relaxing somehow to have a loud sound drain out your thoughts, practically yelling at you to pull yourself together.
With a sweet sigh, Kori laughed. "Sorry Felix, I wasn't myself for a moment. I think I am probably working too much. Are you going to the book fair?"
With a hushed sigh Cael changed in his instantly, kicking himself out of character. "No it's nothing. I changed my mind, I'll find some other way." folding his arms over his chest, irritation hit his face hard. Eyes closed and brows frowning in anger. He couldn't think straight, probably lack of sleep had the best of him, but still there was no excuses.
Very rarely did he ever have writers block, and since he was done with his book, he was already making plans for a new one. Excerpt, there were minor problems. He couldn't get into full character without having to hit rock bottom. Thing was he couldn't do that in this kind of situation, it might scare away his editor, only solution was to ask someone else.
"Here." Walking over into the other room, he grabbed a piece of blank paper and headed over to Hoshi with a pen in his hand as well. "I want your thoughts on a vampire doctor.. I also would like you to play on a role of his patient. He is a sick boy, who stops by every week just for a check up. I would like it if you go into character when writing down your thoughts. Put yourself into the patient's shoes and write it down for me. Should be simple enough, and it'll help me." Taking Hoshi's hands and placing the paper and pen in them, Cael gave him no time to reject his commands. Leaving him no choice but to do it. "It's either this way or my way, and you'd probably want this way." He smirked with a slight laugh under his breath.
Didn't take him to long to finish cooking the meal, what he had come up with was biscuits and gravy. Wasn't really a breakfast meal, but at least it was something to fill Naoi up. There was no way he'd leave him to feed himself, he might just choose a small snack. "Naoi, we have a week left until the due date. Can I help you with anything?" He placed the plant down on the table.
"How old is the boy?" Hoshi asks softly, beginning to write in his cursive hand writing. He glanced up at Cael blankly, waiting for an answer. He kept writing even as he waited, ideas already coming to his head.
"There's something odd about this doctor..." Was one of the first sentences he wrote, he looked at it then sighed. He'd need to revise a few of these. But there was also something odd about Cael now, that seemed to distract him from getting into character.
"Yes don't worry, I am alright. Did you need anything?"
"I was just calling to ask if you're busy today? Cael has Hoshi over, so I've not really got a lot to do. I was just wondering if you were free?"
Felix glanced at himself in the mirror as he spoke, trying to tame his hair. It was useless. There was really nothing he could do about how messy it looked. There was a long silence on the end of the phone, but Felix just assumed that Kari was momentarily busy. He put his phone on speaker and placed it on his table, waiting for a reply as he went about tidying his room a little. He threw his covers back onto his bed and kicked a drawer on his desk shut. Abruptly, the sound of sirens emanated from the phone, and Felix jumped before rushing back to it. Kori still hadn't replied and Felix was suddenly struck by the thought of whether he was really okay or not. He darted back to the phone and spoke into it.
"Kori? You there? Are you okay?" His voice was urgent and concerned, but he tried to keep himself calm.
"Sorry Felix, I wasn't myself for a moment. I think I am probably working too much. Are you going to the book fair?"
Felix breathed a sigh of relief and took the phone off speaker, before holding it to his ear again, and then replied, "Oh, god...You scared me for a minute then," Felix giggled self consciously, "You're definitely working too much, and I wouldn't miss the fair for the world! You know that!"
