INFORMATION:
Jeb Batchelder is a brilliant scientist who has served in the ranks of Itex for many years. Jeb’s insane; his daughter was Maximum Ride, the first successful flying mutant to have graced the labs of Itex, and there’s a clear crazed devotion to the labs behind everything Jeb does. About twenty years ago, Jeb “rescued” the first batch of flying mutants and left them under the impression that they were born to save the world. In the end, however, Jeb’s claims turned out to be nothing more than lies. He put the children through excruciating pain, both physically and emotionally, and, in then, turned his back on them, handing them over, once again, to Itex. Now, Jeb is out to assist in the creation of a newer, better, generation of flying mutants, and will stop at nothing to ensure that, after they run their full circle, they fall back into his hands.

INFORMATION:
Karina Ivanov is a high ranking scientist from the Russian branch of Itex, age 38, though she looks much younger. To the common underling or scientist, she is seen as fearless and ruthless, with a cold, strict no-nonsense demeanor. The truth of the matter is that she's insane and believes emphatically and passionately in Itex's goals. She looks upon her superiors as if they are gods and follows their orders to the letter, without being completely brainless about it. Before receiving the surgery and telepathically transferred knowledge that made her a brilliant scientist, she was a brilliant fighter and killer, and was first used to train Hunters. She has the smooth, confident stride of a predator and is very muscular despite her slim physique.
