Teddy couldn't help but chuckle at Akira's question, this wasn't the first time Teddy wandered off, and whenever Sedgewick came to his rescue he remembered he always went commando and ready to crack heads. He knew this wasn't an exception. He wondered how many times Sedgewick and his family had to charge into the Ursa's defence. He recognizes a few landmarks, indicating they are close to home.

His attention turns to Akira, "So Akira," he begins, "What's life like at your place of dwelling?"

"Shotgun....." Lalita murmured, taking in the human's words as she looked over the device in question. So it was a human weapon. She had vaguely heard of guns at some point, non human beings sometimes comparing notes and stories of the human creatures they shared the planet with. But this was the first she had ever seen of such a device.
"Are all human weapons this size?" she asked, looking between the gun and Sedgewick.

Her smile and happy demeanor returned in seconds as Sedgewick assured her she wasn't scary. He didn't seem to be lying, and the pat on her head further encouraged her. Face flushed joyfully, Lalita slithered almost soundlessly between the two humans and Akira.

Akira's comment didn't go unheard, and the nagini quirked a brow in puzzlement. "Already taken? What do you mean?" she asked the kitsune, trying to ponder her words for a few minutes. After a brief pause, Lalita held up her finger in an 'ah-ha' motion, realization in her eyes. "Oh! Do you mean taken as in he has a mate? Oh wow! How can you tell Akira?" she asked, looking at her fellow creature with awe.

Sedgewick shook his head, "Nah, we have smaller weapons too." He drew his pistol from his jacket, "See?"

"Does that mean you're taken?", he heard the kitsune ask.

He started blushing as he holstered his pistol. "N-no ma'am. When you have to look after a man like Mister Ursa there's no time for romance. Though I suppose you could say I'm married to my work." he stood up straighter, trying to unwrinkle his still damp suit. "Though, if I may be so bold ladies, what about yourselves? Are you spoken for? I would hate to find my life endangered because I invited the two of you to dinner."

"Well, I certainly don't live in a palace. I guess you could say the forest is my home. It's not that hard for me to hide from sight while sleeping," Akira explained to Teddy. "Before I came here, I used to live with my mother. She's alright, just a bit of a handful sometimes." The remark she had made about Sedgewick's "relationship" with his shotgun had, of course, flown right over Lalita's head, leading to the nagini asking her how she knew. "Oh, just a wild stab in the dark." Rather than correct Lalita, the kitsune decided to humour her for now. There wasn't any harm in it.

Sedgewick's response amused her at first, with the initial blushing and stammering. Apparently having to babysit his master didn't leave him with a lot of spare time. His question did intrigue her though. "Don't worry, I'm still single. And I won't stop you from asking me out either," she added playfully. After enough walking, they could at last see the Ursa summer home. Akira let out a low whistle, clearly impressed by the sheer size of the building.

"Yes," Teddy said, responding to Akira's whistle, "Come to think of it, this place is at the entrance of the forest, kind of like a gate."

He begins to walk closer to the home, he had grown hungry. He had noted that Lalita doesn't seem to be the brightest bulb in the box, but regardless, she meant pretty well and is a pleasant person overall. But he began to grow curious of how Akira just lived in the forest, perhaps all animal spirits spend the majority of their lives in the wild, Teddy thought. He had to admit though, Akira did seem to be a pretty fun person.

Lalita leaned in to get a closer look at the smaller gun, letting out a soft 'ooh' of interest. The new weapon was considerably smaller than the shotgun, and the nagini had half a mind to try and grab it for her own personal inspection.

Sedgewick put the weapon away before she could follow through on the thought, his blushing and stammered response most endearing. Tilting her head at his answer, Lalita was surprised to hear him refute Akira's musings. "Oh, no mate?" she asked to make sure she heard correctly, only to shake her head at his question. "I don't have a mate. Never have but I have lots ofpeople I call my friends!" the ebony haired girl replied cheerfully, glancing over as Akira spoke once more. Such a funny friend! Akira seemed to have no worry of announcing she was available. The snake girl smiled at the kitsune, about to ask more about such personal matters of mates and such, when she caught Akira looking forward with approval. Turning to see what on earth earned the whistle, her eyes grew wide in awe.

"Oh wow! It's so big!" Lalita exclaimed upon seeing the mansion up ahead. Looking over at Sedgewick and Teddy, she looked more than just a little excited. "Is that normal for a human house?"
