Race:
Werewolf/Human mix

Gender:
Male

Personality:
Lucas prefers to stay on his own, living in the forests, like most of his kind. He doesn’t usually stay in one place for very long, either. At least, he didn’t used to. Now he’s found a large enough forest to stay and hide in, he’s decided to make himself comfortable. Sure, there’s a village with humans nearby, but he can feed himself, and hide well enough to avoid too much suspicion. He can be a bit of a softy, which is part of the reason he avoids others; no reason to go headlong into trouble, after all.

He likes wide, open spaces, and can’t stand being indoors. He prefers to have a challenge when hunting for food, and avoids eating humans. (Sometimes they’re far too easy to catch.) His soft spot won’t allow him to eat young creatures, like children, cubs, and chicks. Being around a lot of people, whether human or other werewolves, makes him uncomfortable, so he’s avoided joining any packs, and even left his own as soon as he could hunt for himself. He tends to be very territorial of his new forest, chasing off anyone he doesn’t want there.

History:
Lucas was born in a werewolf pack, but couldn’t find himself fitting in very well. So, as soon as he could hunt on his own, he left. For the most part, he travelled on his own, looking for a place to stay; where he could hide from humans and hunt for himself. He just believed he’d be better off on his own.

Once, though, there was a little girl wandering through his forest. He didn’t notice anything until he found her being attacked by a group of thugs. They didn’t usually come through his forest. That, plus the fact that they were attacking a young girl, a child, made him upset. So he dealt with the thugs; he didn’t like attacking humans, but at least he didn’t eat these ones; just chased them off. When he looked back to see if the girl was alright; she had already passed out.

He figured he had already done enough, and almost walked away. But it was a child, out in the middle of the woods, with wild animals, and possibly other thugs. He picked her up, and followed her scent back to what he assumed to be her house. Hopefully the parents either were out, looking for her, or heavy sleepers. He tucked her into what he hoped was her bed and left, hurrying back to his own forest.

Afterwards, he made sure to do a quick patrol of his forest. He couldn’t allow thugs to think they were safe there; they needed to be dealt with. He continues to do random patrols, scaring off anyone that dared to enter his woods. He had to keep his territory safe, after all.

So begins...

Faire May

((Hehe no no it's alright really. XD))
Faire slept quietly throughout the night. Once morning came, she quickly got out of the shelter and sighed slightly looking at the sleeping being next to her. She didn't want to return home now knowing that her fate would be decided for her but she didn't have a choice. Perhaps when she will be given power, she will rewrite a few roles. That is, if her husband would allow it.

Lucas started awake, hearing her walk out of the shelter. He stood, stretching, before looking at the human. She didn't seem overly pleased, really. Still upset, perhaps? But...why should that bother him? All he really had to do at that point was make sure she got home safely. Nothing else should bother him. So...why was he frustrated? He shrugged it off, before shifting back into a human form. He didn't want to scare off the other humans when they got close to the village, after all. He looked back to Faire.

"So...ready to head back home?"

((Tired of pictures XD)
Faire stopped and turned to the male slightly. She wasn't sure if she was or wasn't ready. Everything seemed to hazy but she had to go back eventually. She was such a burden to the male. "Yes.... Im.... Ready to leave now." She said with a slight pout. She straightened her dress then lifted her head. "You... Don't have to accompany you know."

Lucas frowned. Pouting? She didn't want to go back. But she was going to. He shook his head, glancing around. She was going to let them control her? Now, of course, it was clearer than ever why he avoided villages like hers. Who needed their rules? They only intended to control, not protect, like they always said.

"...No, I don't have to. I can do what I want, though, can't I? ...You could, too; you don't want to go back. It's fairly obvious, really. Why go back, then?"

She pouted while hearing him. She then paused at his words. "I know but still... I can't just live out here. Im not as skilled as you... I'd die in a day. You were raised to be strong and survive on your own... I wasn't." She said while shaking her head. "Besides, I have much work to do im sure. Im also sure ill be receiving a scolding when i return."

Lucas shook his head. True as that was, it wasn't like he'd have let her try to live out there all on her own. ...Well, partially true, anyway. He wasn't raised to be strong; he had to learn that on his own. But that really wasn't the point here. Work? She had a lot of work to do? Work they probably needed to do on their own, instead of giving it to her.

"If they scold you for being gone, I don't think they'd really care. They should be relieved you're going back at all. For all they know, you've already died out here."

She cringed as she heard the word. Care. Something she thought she felt but now was a lie. No one truly cared for her. They just used her and made her life much more difficult. She shook her head slightly trying to hold back her tears. "Lets just go..." She said while sniffling slightly. She then began to walk steadily.

Lucas shook his head. There wasn't really anything he could do about it if she wasn't willing to talk to him about it. So what was he supposed to do? He could only lead her home, and hope everything would turn out alright.

"Fine; let's go, then," he responded, following closely behind her. Clearly she was having trouble coming to terms with what she wanted to do. ...When did this become his problem? Maybe he shouldn't be anywhere near a village at all; anywhere near humans. He was probably much better off on his own. Oh well; too late for that.

"...Just be careful; we don't want to attract trouble."

She nodded while hearing him. "Theres no need to worry about me." She said while walking with him. When they reached the bridge she stopped and turned to him. "Will I... See you still?" She asked worriedly. She didn't want to lose him as a friend even if she had responsibilities to take care of.

Lucas hesjitated. Was he going to visit her? Or even let her find him out in the forest? He could just leave, and keep her from finding toomuch trouble, but she'd probably still go looking for him, and that would be trouble anyway. He paused tothink aboutit. She would still find trouble, he was sure. So he nodded.

"I guess...it wouldn't be alright to still see you, every now and then. But...don't go into the forest on your own anymore. Wait for me to show up, alright? Especially if the hunters decide to come back, looking for more animls, or something," he insisted. They would probably be the worst trouble, aside from the villagers making decisions for her, of course.

She nodded while hearing him and hugged him tight. "Alright. I will keep out." She said before giving a small smile. "Well then... Until we meet again." She said while bowing respectfully and beginning to walk the bridge. She sighed slightly already seeing a few of her consultants coming to check on her.

Lucas hesitated, but certainly didn't try to stop the hug. Maybe he was starting to expect them? Possibly...enjoy them? He looked up, across the bridge, to see other people. Where had they been? Obviously they didn't care too much if they were just coming out. He shook his head. He watched and waited untijl she reached the other people, then turned to walk back into the forest. He'd just hide nearby for a few days, maybe. Well, when he wasn't patrolling his territory, anyway.

For a few moments, returning back home seemed fine. But then work began to come back. She spent quite a few days trapped in her home catching up on the things she had missed in that one day. It felt like a weeks worth. She sighed finally having some time to relax. She looked out the window and to the forest in the distance wondering what her friend was up to.
