A relatively small island, a population of only about 200 people. Only has one school that has elementary, middle, and high school level. It also has a mall, movies, hospital, etc. The island doesn't have any colleges.

As he told her of his having to attend the party, she realized just exactly who he was. She had heard a lot about his family from friends, neighbors, and others of the sort. That was one thing she could always depend on from her friends. They always had the dish on everyone and everything in this town. She brushed her inner babbles out of her mind, as she fixed her crop top, and brushed the hair out of her face. "What about you? Are you going?" Before she had a chance to answer him, he added "Please come. I don't want to be stuck there by myself." She laughed at the last part. Little did he know, she attended every party there was here. She was always one of the first to know, and never turned down an invitation for a good time. She smiled up at him. "I'll be there. I'd planned on going, anyways."

It wasn't a lie that she Crystal Richards had managed to be lost, okay fine it was technically her fault for running out of the boat and towards the other direction. Hey I girl has to explore... Anyway Crystal found her self indulged by the islands estrange smells and lingering appealing sights. She found herself oohing and ahhing over modern and ancient statues.She finally spotted a small group of cabins and opened the door seeing a bunch of peoples mostly female in the cabins. "Um. hi she muttered clutching the hand of her suitcase tightly she didn't do greetings very well.

Dustin smiled when Milani agreed to come. "Okay, good. Six o'clock then. The villa where the party is at is really big - with a pool, jacuzzi, and everything. " He shook his head, and stared out to the waves crashing on the shore. It was really sunny out today, and the longer stared at the water, the more he wanted to go for a swim. He felt like he could hear his surfboard at home calling his name. " It's nice out today, " He continued, making small talk as he stared out onto the shore. A warm breeze passed, ruffling his soft dark brown hair. He tried to remember what time he was supposed to be at the villa at, since the party started around 6. His father was pestering him yesterday about showing up there early to help set everything up. Since he was spacing out during the time, Dustin wasn't exactly sure what time he was supposed to be there. "You want to walk by the beach? Maybe surf/swim before the party? " He suddenly suggested, breaking the silence between them as well as his thoughts. He finally gave into his temptations and was going to the beach. He didn't mind whether Milani would come or not, but usually going to the beach with someone else was better.
Looking at the cabins one last time, he turned to Milani. "I think we're pretty much done here." He added, wondering if that did anything. He turned his back away from his sister and Kai, waiting for Milani's reply.

Milani quite pleased that he had set a time. "Alright, I shall see you then." As she was turning to leave, he had asked if she wanted to go to the beach together. She turned back, looked out towards the water, which looked perfect. She couldn't resist. "Sure," she said with a smile. With that, she pulled off her crop top, fully revealing her gold bikini top, and belly button piercing which had an anchor at the end. She had always been obsessed with them. "After you?" she followed behind him, as they made there way to the water. She always became anxious before she got in the water. Ever since the 'accident' as a child, which she never talked about, she always worried from the time she got in, to the time she got out, although nothing bad ever happened. "..I don't surf." she admitted. Although she loved to watch the locals surf, she'd never taken a liking to doing it herself. "Well, by that, I mean I don't know how." This made her blush a bit. You live IN Hawaii, yet you can't surf? Disgrace.. She could almost hear the words coming out of his mouth. That was the usual reaction she got when telling other locals or tourists.
Chase Rich | ORPHAN | Cabins | Day 1
Chase walked to the cabins. Stopping every now and then to take in the few. He didn't have a suitcase with him, but he had a back pack. To him, it felt like he was walking forever, in a never ending dream. He doesn't know why, maybe it was the way the people looked or maybe it was the smell in the air, but he felt...refreshed. He walked down the street in his black tank-top and baggy jean shorts with his awesome Elmo hat on. When he finally found his cabin, he didn't walk in at first. He sat there on the steeps for a while, just sitting there. Clearing his mind. Then, he stood up and walked in. "Hey." He said, not even looking up to see if they noticed him walk in.

Jackal sat on his bed, looking around his room silently and seemingly alone. He had no idea of what to do, maybe he could go venture out and explore the island, but he didn't really feel like exploring the island. Then there was this party later tonight, and he had no idea if he should he to there. He didn't really like parties, and because of his quite shy nature was unsure whether to go or not. He sighed softly and opened his bag he also had in the plane. He opened it and looked at an empty page, then searched for a pen. Once he found a pen, he started to write in the small diary, writing about how he felt and that he was unsure of what to do.
After he finished writing his diary, he hided it in his bag and noticed a boy walking into his cabin. He felt like hiding at first, but decided not to do that. He eyes the boy for a second before nodding silently. He still had problems with talking, to find words to say or to make sentences. He didn't know why, normal people could talk much earlier then him, but he could only say a few words after his eights birthday. He sighed softly.
After pondering whether to say something for a while, he opened his mouth to speak and said, ''Hello.'' More he couldn't find at the moment. He didn't think he needed to say more. They were all of the orphanage so knew each other, still he had problems with communicating.
Kailea Nagahara| Local| Cabins| Day 1
Kailea looked at Jordan and smiled. "Well, I'm Kailea and I'm supposed to help you guys find the cabins." She looked at the paper. "The rooming is Jessebelle with Crystal and Jordan with Ashely. Jessebelle," she pointed at the shorter girl with a smile, "will be in Cabin 1." She turned around. She was going to point to where Cabin 1 was, but instead felt wind in her ears. Surprised, she did jump a little, but no sound came from her mouth. Looking towards the reason she laughed seeing her close friend, Kai. "You're late," she said faltly and punched his shoulder lightly. "I was on time," she grinned looking up at her taller friend lifting a proud grin. Kailea always had a crush on him. I mean look at him. How could you not? But they were too close of friends. He was the first guy friend she made when she arrived on the island when she was ten. Besides, Kai had this rule of not dating. Kailea thought it was stupid of course, but she didn't question it. She would rather him date her, but it was better that he date no one then another girl. She wouldn't know what to do with herself.
"As I was saying," she returned to the girls nudging Kai towards their luggage not that far off, "Cabin 1 is over there," she pointed to the second beach hut in the water. "Cabin 2 is the one across from it." She redirected her pointer finger towards it. "Here come on," she motioned for the girls to follow her towards them. As they walked along the thin walkway and found herself playing around. She put her feet in front of each other in a straight line and she hopped over the more noticeable dark spots on the walkway. "I hope you guys know how to swim," she chuckled, "and if not, my dad said that my brother would be totally willing to help." Kailea stepped to the side and walking in front of Cabin 2. "This is your cabin Jordan," she put her hands out as if presenting a gift.
Peering in, Kailea saw that Jordan's roommate had already arrived. She guessed the girl's name was Ashley seeing how that was the name of the listed roommate. "Hello," she waved, "your roommate is here." She smiled and stepped aside moving towards Cabin 1 to make room for Jordan to get inside.
Chase Rich | ORPHAN | Cabins | Day 1
Chase looked up for a second. "Looks like were roommates then." He said as he made his way to one of the other beds. He throw his bag on the bed then took out a notebook out of his bag. He sat on the bed and took the pencil out of the notebook. Then, he stared to draw. He had no clue what his drawing was going to be, but it usually turns out all good in the end. He only draw a few lines then he lost his impersonation. He closed the notebook and put the pencil back in the bind of the notebook. "I know." He said out loud quietly to himself. Then he reached into his bag and grabbed out another notebook. He flipped through the pages and found the last thing he worked on. It was a drawing of the skyline of Chicago. He draw it by looking at a picture of the skyline out of a book. Chase smiled to himself when he saw it. To him it looked exactly like the picture. He got the pencil out of the other notebook and started working on it again.

"That's actually a really good question.. I have nothing 'formal' in my closet except for an old skirt I wore in middle school." Jordan smiled to Jessabelle "I don't even have a skirt" she laughed and then looked to the girl that introduced herself as Kailea "The rooming is Jessebelle with Crystal and Jordan with Ashely." She was hoping to be roomed with Jessabelle but she will just have to get to know this Ashley girl. She then saw the guy that snuck up on Kailea, Jordan couldn't help but chuckle a little. She then looked as Kailea pointed to the cabin that she be staying in, following right behind her. She was quiet for the most part but when Kailea mentioned swimming she couldn't help but pipe up "I know how to swim, though id love to learn to surf" she said as they reached the cabin she be staying in.
Jordan looked in she couldn't believe how nice it was "wow this is pretty amazing" she then saw her roommate, Ashely, there "Hey you must be Ashely, im Jordan, looks like we are bunking together. She walked inside and put her luggage down but then turned to Kailea "umm one question...do you know what kind of clothing we should wear at the party tonight? I only brought tank tops and shorts and yoga pants."
Ashley Jennette Pearson | Orphan | Cabin| Day 1
Ashely was relaxing on the couch when her roomate came in. "Hey. Yep I'm Ashley. Nice to meet you." She smiled, then when she heard party, couldn't help but jump into the convo. "A party? Party for what?" Surely the town wasn't throwing a party for a bunch of orphans coming into town. Ashley mentally planned her outfits. She was a tomboy, but she did own a few nice tops and a pair of nice skinny jeans. "I may have something you can borrow. You look about the same size as me."
Ashley went to check the clothes she brought and pulled out three dressy shirts. A black tank with quarter cut lace sleeves, a tank with white and cream alternating ruffles, and her favorite and the one she would most likely wear. A baby blue blouse with a black vest. "Take your pick, but the blue is my favorite so if you wanna wear it, try not to rip it or stain it." She laughed but was being completely serious.
Dustin Keoni Nagahara| Local | Beach | Day 1
Milani seemed as anxious as Dustin was, because as soon as he set the offer to go to the beach she took off her shirt, exposing her almost model perfect body. He smiled when she ushered him to go first, and they started to make their way to the water. Dustin pulled off her shirt as well, exposing his tanned chest and semi-muscular arms. He looked at the water eagerly, now suddenly remembering he forget to head back to his house to get the board. Before he'd gotten the chance to say anything, he heard Milani admit she couldn't surf. He turned his attention back to her, taking a moment to process the comment, and shook his head. "It's alright. I forgot my board at home anyway." He smiled, blinking from the Sun's rays. They didn't have much time anyway, since his father would call him in eventually. He looked back to the water, "If you want though - when we have more time - maybe I could give you lessons?" He offered, not noticing the girl's anxiousness about the topic. He wasn't that bad of a teacher, and his dad had pretty much put his up for lessons earlier.
Dustin headed into the water before Milani could say anything, finally giving into his temptations. The cold, rich feeling of the sea water against his legs caused him to be feel a sense of relief. He loved the water here at Hawaii, and knew that it was the one thing he'll never forget when he goes to the states. He walked into the water until it reached about thigh-deep, and soaked his head inside. He came out a second later with his face and hair damp. Before going any deeper, he looked around for Milani. "You okay?" He asked her, turning around slightly, and wiped his face from the water.
Jessabelle Alcantara | Orphan | Cabins | Day 1
When Kailea announced that Jordan and her weren't bunking rooms, Jessabelle felt somewhat disappointment. She smiled, however, and nodded as they headed their way inside Jordan's cabin. It would've been nice if they were sharing the same cabin, since they already knew each other. She wasn't paying any attention where they were going, almost tripping over in one of the walkways on the way there. She looked down to the salt water under the path, which had no railings, and gasped slightly. While Jessabelle already knew how to swim, she still got nervous when she couldn’t reach the floor. She looked straight ahead to Cabin 2, noticing Cabin 1 right across from it. She glanced inside the cabins, curious to see how they looked like in the inside. While Jordan was already making her way to her cabin, Jessabelle looked into her own and noticed someone was already inside. She couldn't make out the girl's face, but remembering what her Kailea said, the girl's name was Crystal.
Since the others didn't seem to notice, Jessabelle decided to make her way to her cabin too. She smiled at Jordan, signaling her that they'd see each other at the party, and made her to Cabin 1 eagerly. Her bags were still at tow, and she had trouble pulling them along with her, but reached the cabin in one peace. She was surprised the Cabin didn't sway when she got inside since it looked so unstable. She smiled at the girl sitting on the bed opposite to hers, "I'm Jessabelle. I guess we're roommates?" She said quite awkwardly, and set her things down on the floor.
Kale Kapono Price | Local | Benefactor's Island| Day 1
Kale sat up from his bed and looked out the window. The day was just about halfway over and he felt like he had achieved nothing. He had arrived on the island just about a week ago for summer break and had not contacted any of his friends since his mother had been missing him. He decided he should just stay with her for the time being. He had gone to her salon and talked to the older ladies that came for hair cuts, massages, or to get their nails done. Around lunch time he bought him and his mother a small shrimp meal and then he walked home. By the time he reached his house it was already two o'clock in the afternoon. He rested for a little bit and now wanted to meet up with his old friends. He pulled out his phone. There weren't that many teenagers in the island. The most was probably fifty from the ages of thirteen to nineteen. Some of the people he remembered included the Nagahara kids, Milani, Koa, and Kai. He didn't know everyone else that well since his friendships with them only last the summer. He liked Kailea, but less agreed with her player of a brother, Dustin. He didn't know Milani or Koa enough to make assumptions. And Kai was a good guy so he knew him. Kale also remembered some other kids like Alana who lived with her grandparents. He pulled out his cellphone and scanned for their numbers.
Kale text messaged Kai. He was the safest bet. "Hey Kai. It's Kale. I'm back on the island for the summer. Where you at, bra?" Then he sent it and got up from his bed. He changed into his black and blue basketball shorts and a white tank top under a white shirt with black words on it. He got out of his house and made his way to the park. Maybe he could find a couple of teens or even adults to play basketball with.
Kailea Nagahara | LOCAL | Cabins| Day 1
Kailea noticed that most of the orphans were already in their cabins. Turning to Jordan's question she grinned. "Wear something casual. You don't have to be too formal. Remember, you're in Hawaii," she giggled, "You guys are going to love the villa. They have a swimming pool so bring a bathing suit underneath your clothes. I think they have towels and stuff over there," she guessed. She grabbed Kai's strong arm and made him move a little so she could look at Jessebelle in her room. Her roommate was inside already as well. "So don't miss the 6 o'clock party at the villa. We," she looked up at Kai, "will be here around 5:45 to get you guys if you want to come. You don't have to come," she said not wanting to pressure them. "But I really suggest you at least look at the place. People from the island are coming too. It's gorgeous," she smiled from ear to ear. Then she started to walk away from them. "I'll see you guys later," she waved the four girls goodbye, leaving them to get acquainted with each other.
Kailea walked back towards her father who was talking with Mrs. Kirby. She smiled, politely interrupting the two of them. "All the orphans are in their cabins," Kailea said, though she really didn't know if all of them had made it to their cabins alright. Everyone she saw had gotten into them so she just assumed that was the case. Mrs. Kirby smiled and thanked her. Then she reminded Mr. Nagahara about the allowances for the kids. "Three hundred dollars?" Kailea said, astounded. Wow, she thought. And then she remembered it was for a week. They had no other source of money. But three hundred dollars was way more then her parents trusted her with. Mrs. Kirby said she would take care of the allowance distribution.

She watched as Dustin removed his shirt, and told her that he had forgotten his board at home anyways. He then offered her lessons. "Me? A local? Lessons? I would be the joke of the town," she laughed as she removed her shoes. "Plus, with your father having such an important role in all of this, I'm sure most of the orphans will want lessons..but thank you." She smiled at him as he ran into the water eagerly.
She could see how much he enjoyed the water. And she couldn't blame him. It was stunning. The waves; the water; all of it. Great for pictures, though she knew this wasn't the time. She went into the water, laying her shoes on the beach. She went in knee deep high, not going out any further. "Yeah, I'm fine." She answered to his question in a casual manner, though on the inside she wasn't feeling so "casual".

"I may have something you can borrow. You look about the same size as me." Jordan smiled to Ashely "that be great thanks" she then heard Kailea "Wear something casual. You don't have to be too formal. Remember, you're in Hawaii," "Well thats a good thing because all I really wear is casual" she watched Kailea leave the cabin and said she would see them later. Jordan waved as she left then turned back to Ashely looking at the three shirts she put out "hmm can I wear the black tank? and ill just wear a pair of shorts with them". She put her luggage on her bed and started unpacking "so how old are you Ash? Do you mind if I call you Ash? Im 15. What do you like to do?"
Her eyes drifted over to Ash, she couldn't help but look the girl over. At first she really didn't know she was but when she did her cheeks turned a little pinkish. When she was done putting her clothes away she sat on her bed and looked back to Ashely "So do you want to take a walk around? We could as Jessabelle and Crystal to come around. We still have some time till we need to get ready for the party."

"Suit yourself." Dustin smiled slightly when Milani regretted his offer and headed deeper in - about, let's say, chest deep. He splashed around a bit, feeling his toes squish on the wet sand under him. He could already start to feel the seaweed wrapping around his ankles. "You ready to go in?" That's when he realized the girl hadn't gone in any farther than ankle deep. She was still by the shore line, looking pretty entertained by just standing there. Dustin stared at her for a while, wondering if maybe the girl didn't know how to swim either. He splashed around, "Milani!" Dustin cupped his mouth, screaming her name to catch her attention. He ran his finger through his hair, blinking some. The water felt good against his body, considering it was about 90 degrees. Most of the locals knew how to swim, and he figured maybe she just didn't feel like going in today.
Looking out the sea, you could still catch sight of the orphan's cabins. Dustin took a look out on the beach, finding the girl he'd seen earlier. The one who had been taking pictures of the surfers with her camera. He looked back to Milani, deciding to head back. He dipped his head into the water one more time, and made his way to the shore. "Hey, um, you okay?" He finally asked Milani when he got there. His shorts were dripping wet now, and hung tightly against his skin. His shirt, however, remained dry on the sand beyond them.

Ashley Jennette Pearson | Orphan | Cabins | Day 1
Ashley nodded. "You can call me Ash. I'm 15 too. I love skateboarding, well anything outdoors really." She smiled. "And the black one would look great on you." It really would. It was made for someone with darker hair and lighter skin. Ashley's blonde hair and tan skin couldn't pull it off.
"So who's Jessabelle aand Crystal?" She liked company, especially girl company. They were always easier to talk to than guys. With a guy, if you say it's just not the day, they insist you say more. But a girl knows, 'Hey back off! It's her time of the month!' and then it's all good. Ashley grabbed her hair bow and put her hair into a ponytail.

The plane ride had been a long and exhausting one, watching the ground around him disappear, and instead fill with nothing but water for hours. He was happy when he arrived at the airport in Hawaii, and grabbed his bags. He looked around and took out his headphones, which he had placed in his ears before they got on the plane. Heavy metal was sure to block out the noises around him, but not the ones in his head.
This was not the first time he'd been on a plane, however, he did not remember the ride all the way from Moscow, Russia, where his parents were from. Hell, he was from there too, but sixteen long years ago they had made the move to America to follow their dreams. Apperantly, he wasn't apart of that dream. Three months old, they dropped him off at the orphanage. Sixteen years later he was still there. He planned to be there for too more, as well.
He brushed those images aside as he followed the group to the cabins, where he was showed to his room. When he walked inside, he realized he had the room to himself. He hated this, because, well, he hated being alone in general. He sighed and sat his bags there, and shoved his iPod into his pocket before walking back outside to look around.

Milani shrugged again as he asked her if she was okay. She went out deeper into the water. She could swim. In fact, she was fairly well at swimming, that was not the reason for her reluctance. She waded out into the water, waist deep, and smiled. "I'm absolutley fine, just, anxious, that's all." She laughed softly. She had never told the drowning incident to anyone, and didn't trust herself too without becoming a sobby mess, so she kept it to herself at all times. Almost as a little reminder. You could be next.
She looked over at Dustin, before making her way to him. "It amazes me how much I've seen you around the island, yet I've never taken the time to talk to you. I apoligize,"

"It amazes me how much I've seen you around the island, yet I've never taken the time to talk to you. I apologize." Dustin dunked his head under the water and started to make his way deeper. He smiled at Milani's comment, eventually turning back to her. He could have sworn that they went to the same high school, that's why she looked so familiar. If he also remembered correctly, there was a guy she used to always hang around with. Seth. That's what Dustin thought his name was, but he wasn't too sure.
"I haven't exactly talked to you either," Dustin laughed at Milani's manners. "It's cool." He dove into the water then, taking a few minutes to wade around the ocean, knowing it was almost time to go. This was one of the first times he's actually had a chance to go into the water -and it felt great. He unknowingly splashed water into Milani's face, which he didn't realize until later, and brought his head up to apologize. " 'Sorry," He admitted, and made his way back to Milani.
Koa Alana Mahaulu | Local l Benefactor's Island| Day 1
After a while of photographing the island's amazing wildlife for yet another summer. Koa put her camera back in her bag and slipped her clothes on over her swimsuit before grabbing her boards and heading towards the street. She put her skateboard on the ground and her surfboard under her right arm and made sure that her camera was safely in her new bag,if anything happened to that camera she would crawl into a ball and die. It was her mothers when she was still alive and her father gve it to her when she was sixteen because she wasn't that social in high school except in photogrpahy. She looked at her watch and knew she had a little time to kill before she had to get ready for the party. Yea,she may have not looked like it but Koa liked to party,she just never really had anyone to go with as a group or a date,most guys looked over her easly since she rarely spoke because she hated her naturally given accent and well the person she was with at the time was really protective of her. Riding towards the park,she could see a couple of people she could pin point by name.
Looking around she saw someone she hasn't seen in awhile. Since,hell last summer maybe,but she wasn't good at estimating time spans. She pulled her camera out softly and zoomed in to see who it was. Yup,Kale Price,the same guy who came here every single summer yet she rarely share a conversation with the guy. She knew he was from New York and that he stayed here with his mom but that was about it. After a second,Koa put her skateboard in her bag and layed her surfboard in the green grass. She walked behind him and lightly tapped his shoulder. Hey,stranger. Haven't seen you for a while." She chuckled and mess with a strand of her hair. She didn't know if he would reconize her or not but it's worth a shot to see if it was easy to notice her or not,but she was bored and hated having nothing to do.

Milani examined Dustin's features for a long while before finally realizing where she had seen him before. They had gone to the same high school, but it was apparent that he had graduated a year earlier. She had never taken the time to speak to him, being as how she was constantly with Seth.
She was brought out of her inner babbling when she felt the warm, refreshing water splash onto her face. She looked up, smile on her face, and laughed. "It's no bother. It feels great, actually."

Its what I love to do. And thanks black seems to be a color that always fits for me." She pulled out a pair of white shorts, putting them on her bed with the black shirt "that looks good to me with my black flip flops..yup."
As she was figuring out her outfit she heard Ash "So who's Jessabelle aand Crystal?" turning around so she was looking at Ash "they are two other girls from the orphanage that came along for the trip. They seem pretty cool and I seen them in the orphanage, I have also talked to Jessabelle before too but not really know that much about them. There is seriously too many kids in the orphanage, I kinda mostly keep to myself" she then looked around feeling a little bored "so do you want to come with me to see if they want to go explore before we have to get ready?"

Crystal sat down in a small sofa her arms folded and the scent of trees and coconuts became familiar. Crystal smiled a bit sitting by a large window in the small cabin and looking out, viewing the crystal clear light blue water that you could see the bottom of it. Crystal blinked when she heard the door open, still not moving just hearing footsteps and the constant tugging of luggage across the wooden floor almost made her ears bleed and her heart jump out of her chest. She turned around seeing a girl she saw once before on the plane. Moments of silence awkwardly pasted by before the girl spoke. "I'm Jessabelle. I guess we're roommates?" The girl said smiling half-heartdly of course. Crystal held a straight face looked out the window and answered. "Am Crystal, nice to meet you Jess. " Crystal said her eyes piercing and bright as if filled with excitement.
