Introduction

We friends have just graduated from a Pokemon Academy on an Island next to the one where Latias/Latios are found on in Hoenn. We get on a plane and head off to Johto after our graduation party. We get off in an airport in Goldenrod city, and get teleported to New Bark. This is where we start our jouney.
(I wrote out a detailed Intro, but my comp got retarded and wouldn't let me submit)

Now rune up and use dark pulse, and if you have time, shadow ball!" gin anxiously said towards the umbreon. He just hoped that he could actually stop such a close ranged silver wind. Then he had an idea.

Raine grinned. Trying to pin Beautifly's wings? Unnecessary, and only changed her strategy. "Hey...I don't know what you're trying to do...but even if you did use psychic...what else could Umbreon do? It kinda needs to focus to hold Beauty's wings, you know." And, once it tried another attack, it would have to release Beauty. Then Beauty would unleash the silver wind. Raine nodded to herself. "You know what to do, Beauty."

"Shake it off Vaporeon." Seth ordered as he watched his Vaporeon had some of her energy sapped from her and into the Leafeon, she stumbled a little bit as in a daze, then shook her head and got back into the game clearing her head of the dizziness feeling. it faced down the Leafeon, "Ok Vaporeon, the Aurora Beam was good, but how about an Ice Beam!" Vaporeon yipped her reply to Seth's command and opened her mouth, she fired off an icy-cold beam at the Leafeon, Seth looked as he hoped the beam would be able to freeze Nikita's Leafeon, "Thank you Sheena for giving me that TM for my birthday." he said to himself referencing a few years ago, his older sister Sheena gave him the Ice Beam TM as a birthday present.

Eh, I can still get behind beauty in time to attack before it does. Umbreon keep beauty facin the same direction and drag it down close. Get behind it and use dark pulse. Once it regains itself shoot a shadow ball up at it!" gin was in his element now, he was very into his battle. He was also using this as practice for Falkner, so he wanted to put everything he could into it.

Leif dodged the ice beam easily, his speed was amazing. Nikita smiled at herself, thinking about how hard it had been to train his speed. She contemplated what the vaporeon could do and decided on her pokemon's next move. "Okay, Lief. Good job, now use Leaf Blade!" The pokemon nodded and began to launch the razor-sharp leaves at the Vaporeon.

Raine frowned. "Apparently you don't understand. The point of the cloud isn't to keep Umbreon away; how can Umbreon see through the cloud of dirt?" As confident as she was about her Pokemon being able to fight without sight, she had no idea whether or not his were trained the same way; after all, where had that dark pulse come from? She glanced around the area quickly, carefully. There was plenty she could do here. She nodded once to herself. "Just stay hidden in the cloud, but keep it up, Beauty." She'd have to think through her idea before she actually did anything.

Raine couldn't see her Beauty anymore. A nice little cover. "Just hang out in there for a bit, Beauty; pay attention to where the Umbreon is." She wasn't going to let this battle go over so easily, and wasn't about to just hand over a win. She waited a bit, watching Gin curiously. He hadn't told him Umbreon to do anything yet. That didn't seem right. He was either up to something, or something was wrong. She turned her attention to the Umbreon; it wasn't doing anything on it's own will, either...but Gin had told it to wait for an attack. She paused, looking back at the cloud that surrounded the Beautifly. A new idea, she decided. "Alright, Beauty; let's see about pushing that cloud to cover the Umbreon. Make it harder for it to see. Whirlwind for this one, okay?"

"Keep going Vaporeon." Seth shouted as he continued to watch her charge at Nikita's Leafeon. Everything was going according to how Plan A was coordinated, it took a couple weeks to pull if off due to Vaporeon not understanding what Plan A meant at first, but soon she learned what Seth meant, it still ran to to Leafeon preparing the Quick Attack.

"Hm. Umbreon. You know what we're doing." Gin muttered to the pokemon. He then ran right behind the umbreon. "Use your glow. The shadows cast will be seen even in the dust picked up." He then touched the umbreon on it's head. It looked up to him, as if to say something, then took it's stance against the dust coming their way. It then let the blue discs on it's fur glow the brightest it could, and blue shone everywhere. Now, they waited.

Raine frowned. "Keep away from Umbreon, Beauty." How much longer could this battle go on? If they were just dodging each other like this, and both were pretty fast Pokemon, too. This had turned into something more like a thinking game than anything. She glanced back at her Pokemon; Inx was out of the question...but she had four other Pokemon that were still full of energy; Umbreon had to at least be getting tired. Beauty was. She grinned. "Beauty, retreat. I think it's your turn, Mew." Beauty backed off, and the Glameow ran forward, watching the Umbreon curiously.

Hmm...not that I'm not glad for the time the confusion afterwards woudl do me, :P but Bayleef can't use petal dance; they don't learn that attack until after they evolve into a Meganium.

My point was only that. in the post, you said the fact that Laprs was part ice type would protect it if it did get hit, and that part wasn't entirely true. Yes, in the anime...most of the time. The times when it isn't frozen is rare. I was only pointing out a type weakness. But yeah. I'll accept that Inx is frozen, just thought you were makind ice types strong against electric ones, when there's a similar weakness to water. That's all. :P

Edit: Oh, and you can't freeze ice types, either; they like the cold, and it wouldn't do to much to them.

But, when a pokemon usees blizzad in the anime/manga, the other pokemon is always frozen... unless it's a fire type. :P

Well, I edited the post now, but from what I understood, when a Pokemon uses charge, it only charges up energy, not attacks, so when I had the Shinx using charge, it didn't actually hit it, but I changed it to spark, so that it would hit. It was just a note, for furture reference, but I'm not entirely sure what it does in the series, or manga, so I wasn't sure if that still applied.

Edit: Hmm... Ice types are as weak to electric attacks as water types. Sorry to point it out, but that's what I know. And random stuff like that is what you get from the over-obsessed sister. :P
