Pokemon Universe

Gear quickly notices the Greninja and the Delphox he saw earlier walk down the stairs, and was about to speak when the Greninja turned around and addressed them. "My name is Sardotha, and the Delphox outside is Yunkai. I was hoping that you two could join us on our journey. We could use a couple of Pokemon such as yourselves. What do you say?" Gear was about to open his mouth when Sombre spoke to him. "Gear, it's up to you. What do you think?" Sombre said, as Gear got up on the sofa and paced a little to check his paw. "I think I'm fine for the moment Sombre, though it might be a good idea to take the rest of that gauze stuff in case any of us get hurt again." the Eevee responds as he hops off the couch and walks over to Sardotha "I would be more then happy to help in your quest. So, what's the plan?"

"I'm glad you all decided to come aboard. Now..." I stated with a solid face of sincerity as I began to head out of the front door. The roaming Pokemon soon stared at me walking, smiling and chuckling with a sinister scowls. A large Tyranitar marched up towards me, roaring in my front of my own eyes as an attempt to throw me off my determined stare. I looked up to see his teeth, sharp as they may be, and I spun around, my lower body becoming as high as his jaw was and I heeled him in the side of his cheek. He winced at the strike, and attempted to attack me again but I nailed him with Water Shuriken before he could get up. He groaned in agony and I stared out onto the vast amount of pokemon dead silent. They showing their fear they stood still as I passed.

"There is a coastal city South of here, called Nimbasa. There, we are to find a boat that we are able to use and head east over to Sinnoh Region. We will stop and resupply for each region that we pass, Johto coming first then Kanto after that before we make it to Sinnoh. There is an executive building, possibly relating to the disappearing of our loved ones. Hopefully we will find more clues when we arrive." A Raichu riled up a little as I passed and I hissed, he whimpering slightly.

Gear nods, thinking over this plan. He's been on a boat before during a vacation with Micheal and his family, so the idea didn't bother him too much. "I can really see only one obvious problem: Does anyone here know how to drive a boat?" He looks around, hoping that someone would say something. ”Well, first time for everything I suppose…” The Eevee sighs as he walks behind Sar, amazed when the Greninja drops the massive Tyranitar like a sack of potatoes. ”Okay Sardotha, I’m impressed by your fighting capabilities. Your trainer did an amazing job.” Gear comments as he catches up to the Greninja as they begin to walk on Route 19 back towards Aspertia City, and home. ”Oh, I forgot to mention, but Aspertia City is destroyed for lack of better words, the Gym’s gone completely and a majority of the City was ablaze when I escaped…” His voice drifts off while his mind snaps back to Peek and worrying about her. She’s fine Gear, calm down. She’s a tough Pikachu and she’s been through much worse than this, you know that. Just concentrate on the problems at hand, she’ll be fine... He tries to reassure himself mentally, but to not much avail. ”You better be alright Peek…” He quietly mutters as the 4 continue their trek.

Yunkai


The elderly delphox merely nodded in response, walking with the group as she gazed upon the bodies of the dead and dying pokemon. Yunkai wondered if her family at the manor were all right upon seeing all of this. Being part of the richest families of the city would surely attract the undesirable to say the least.

"If this city isn't destroyed, then it will be a hotspot for those who saw humans as pests. Self-made lords and kings bent on keeping the humans from returning." she said as they passed a conkeldurr and his troop staring them down. She looked toward Sardotha and the rest of the group. "Keep moving. If he attacks I'll take care of it." she said flatly, her guard up as she lifted her cane. The tip of it glowed with heat as she saw that the Conkeldurr was following them with intent. An intent was she clearly knew was not the same as their own.

The ride with a Lapras wasn't the comfiest one. It had taken hours and been raining almost whole way. Sometimes more, then less, then more again. Now Black-fang landed on the ground of Unova, thanking the Lapras who had carried him there. He shaked his fur to get at least the most of the water away, even though it was still raining. Just an old habit.

Black-fang looked around him. Apparently he had landed on a big, busy city. Or at least he assumed it had been busy. No there was moving almost no one exept for other pokemons. Water-types we happily skipping in rain, when a group of misbehaving groups stealing everything they could find. However, being intimidate as he was, no one was coming near Black-fang. At least not for now.

He had made his own conclusion what had happened to humans. And the sight just made his thought confirmed. They had abandoned all the Pokemons they had treated as friends. They were just a punch of backstabbers. And if he'd ever found his trainer, he had only one question. Why did she abandon him? The one she already saved from starving to death. It was then hitting him. He hadn't eaten anything since yesterday. ”It's time to hunt some food.”

Looking back at the now mega-evolved Absol, I stared for a few moments, seeing that the Absol had more than just a fighter's spirit, but an ace up his sleeve as well. To have the ability to mega-evolve was a step closer to becoming a god, but I only hoped that it wouldn't get to this dark-type's head. Power is what it is, but it is also dangerous. I flicked my head back forward, eventually, the rest of the group and I moving through the wilds.

The experience of the leaves and branches brushing against my face wasn't like anything I hadn't gone through before. It was tranquil yet overun by vegetation. I'm sure there was plenty of wild Pokemon mixed with the now abandoned Pokemon. I hummed, furrowing my eyebrows as I didn't here any activity going on in the forest. No Archen's calling or any Wingull wailing in the air as I looked up towards the canopy. This was definitely strange, for a massive amount of feral Pokemon to be away from their territory. I'm sure it had something to do with the storm but still. "This silence... this peace... its almost ironic." I stated, moving my eyes to the back of the group as I was in the front. The wet dew dripping on my forehead calmed me, and I still trust this forest more than the concrete jungles planted in this world.

Looking to my left and right, keeping an eye on our surroundings and not letting my guard down, I was focusing on keeping the group safe that the only thing I could hear was my footsteps.

"Don't worry, Gear. I heard news that Peek was in Nimbasa City, performing in the Pokemon Musical. I'm sure she's okay."The now Mega-evolved Sombre says as he tries to comfort the Eevee, putting a wing on his back as Gear looks up to the Absol. "Well, that's certainly a relief to hear, at least she's safe..." Gear sighs as they continue to walk, before turning his attention to Sardotha.

"This silence... this peace... its almost ironic."Gear nods, looking around for potential enemies, the silence almost unnerving compared to the chaos of the cities. "I'll tell you one thing, it's certainly off-putting to have such peacefulness so close to the chaos of the cities, such change seams almost too good to be true..." The Young Eevee says as he attempts to shake off the excess water from his coat to no avail. "While I'm not thrilled about being soaked, I'm glad this storm is still going, it's probably keeping other Pokemon out of our way as they try to take shelter. Gear comments as he stays on the lookout for anything that may try to jump them.

Black-fang were looking around the city trying to find something to eat. Too bad for him, every piece of food seemed to be gone already. He searched the stores that had been broken into, but he only found some sweet pokeblocks. And he hated sweets. As he started to get more and more hungry, he started looking the garbage cans. He knew what to look for: a restaurant. They throw away great amounts of food that could be eatable. He had done the same in his childhood trying to survive.

Using his smell he found a restaurant. But wasn't only one who'd gotten the same idea. Three Raticates and several Patrats were already looking through them. Black-Fang, however, wasn't scared. He growled intimidating and when nothing happened he let out a loud bark that made them quickly run away. By their behaviour he assumed they were wild. He looked in one can and smirked. Just as he had thought. There was no pokefood left but instead there were great amounts of food humans ate. He pushed the can down so everything spread to ground and sniffed around to find the best pieces.

As he sat there eating sausages the rain got worse and he knew he had to find a place to dry himself and maybe a sleep a night. He had to find it and soon. Black-fang looked inside the restaurant's windows but the smell that caught him was hideous. Carefully he observed the space. As a night creature, he had no troubles of seeing in dark and the look that caught him was something made a fighter like him retreat. High, near the roof were sitting several Murkrow's, couple of Noctowls and bird pokemons he didn't even know what they were. The scarier sight, however, was in the ground. There was signs of massive fight, blood and piece of fur all over the place.

Silently, Black-fang left away deciding to find a place that wasn't full of murderous birds. This city was really a mess.

Yunkai


Yunkai was an observant type, never really one to speak unless she had something to say. Though, almost always, she did have something to say at the time. In these times, however, the absence of the human race was something that was eerie. The absence of human activity, pokemon and their humans having a day together. Many things that one would start to miss once they are gone. She clutched the sash in her hand as she used her walking stick to keep herself level. she cursed under her breath, remembering why she had retired in the first place. She may have thought of herself as a queen, but even queens have their limits.

"Some mons are at least trying to keep some order. I witnessed some Audinos in the bakery still churning out bread as we speak." she said as she rumaged through some of the boxes. She was not above eating dry pokemon food. Often times she had eaten it on her travels and ate some as a light snack between meals. However, high class dining was not an option any more. Or at least not at this very moment.

Gear quickly grabs a small knapsack off of one of the store shelves and begins filling it with food and water for the long journey ahead, while also looking back over his shoulder occasionally at the Rattata that are standing in the corner. While he didn't like them being here and watching them take their supplies, he knew out of good conscience they couldn't just kill them for this, knock em out maybe, but not kill.

"Some mons are at least trying to keep some order. I witnessed some Audinos in the bakery still churning out bread as we speak." He overhears Lady Yunkai say as he fills up his sack to the brim and throws it on his back. "They might be keeping order, or they might be seeking solitude from the chaos around them through the rhythm of their work. My trainer used to do the same thing when he was stressed, just do the same thing over and over again and take comfort that he knows that it would never change, has an almost hypnotic feel to it when I think about it." the Eevee says before putting his ear to the floor. There was something coming from the way they came, and it was BIG. "Sardotha! I don't know what it is, but something big's coming in from outside of town! I don't know about you guys, but I'd rather not find out what it is." He says as he makes his way towards the door, carrying as much supplies as he can.

While I was filling up on a few more packets of food, I flicked my ear to hear Gear's inference and stated, "I'm sure that there are pokemon everywhere that are trying to keep themselves from surrendering to the powerful force of insanity going on around us..." I spoke before furrowing my brow. I was unsettled, as if the earth shifted below us slightly. Though it was only on the surface, the slight and short hum resonating from the ground was enough to get me pondering as to what it might be. "An earthquake?... no, we're nowhere near tectonic plates..." I thought just to glance at Gear. I listened to Gear's warning, he stating,"Sardotha! I don't know what it is, but something big's coming in from outside of town! I don't know about you guys, but I'd rather not find out what it is."

Zipping up my pack, I straddled it onto my shoulders, saying, "Great ears, Gear." I lock onto everyone's gaze and stated, "I agree with Gear. Take up your last supplies, we're leaving" I looked over my shoulder to see that the Rattata scurried away from the scene, quickly climbing into an airvent in the back of the store. Bringing my attention back towards the door, I wondered if it might have been that Tyranitar I knocked out earlier... I hoped it was...

Yunkai


Yunkai winced, her bad leg started to stir it's ugly head again. She leaned on her cane as he folded in as much dry food as she possibly could before heading looking up at the airvent the rattata went up. As powerful of a delphox as she was, what ever was out there and was causing an earthquake would cause more trouble for her than the elder could handle. "We need to find a back way out of here if we want to stay out of trouble. It's still unknown if gangs infultrated this city as well." she said as she ran a hand along the wall until she felt a door.

She gingerly pulled back the door to see what was inside, making sure not to disturb anything that my be in the room. What she saw was a group of voltorbs and electrobs. A wash of dread and fear draped itself over her face as she slowly closed the door knowing that they hadn't noticed her yet. The elder fox limped over toward Sardotha as fast as she could, but in a hushed tone. "My dearest frog, I think we have a bigger problem than whatever is causing the earth to shake and they are in the shape of orbs in the closet." she whispered to him, her tone bearly holding back the panic she was feeling.
