Introduction

Hey, Dak here. Wow, its been a while sense I pulled out this one! I wondered I'd give it another go sense pokemon is a popular topic. Hopefully, the people on RPG will have an open mind? I'll let your computer explain the rest to you.

Moving on, this roleplay's genre is obviously pokemon, but with a twist. It turns out that humanity has removed their face from existence, except for the things they have made. The world has gone into chaos... or has it. You may be the Eevee that has stumbled out of your cozy bed and noticed your trainer isn't there to wake you up. Or you're that turtwig that was really hoping for some fresh berries from your farmer, but he wasn't there. Whatever! You make your character correspond with the rules and do so willingly.

As when it comes up to character sheets, you're probably wondering, "Where do I start!?" Welp, here I am to save the day for you again!

So now that you've made your character, you're wondering, "Which city and Region should I pick?" Well, don't worry friend, feel free to pick any region that you'd like. However, I advise you to be wary of your location. It might be difficult, rumaging to find actual players when a you're a Chimchar in Hoenn and another player is a Zubat in Sinnoh. If you do not know which region to pick, go for Unova - Floccesy Town. That is where the GM's character will be. If not, please conduct yourself and pick from a list right here!

Gear

Gear nods, thinking over this plan. He's been on a boat before during a vacation with Micheal and his family, so the idea didn't bother him too much. "I can really see only one obvious problem: Does anyone here know how to drive a boat?" He looks around, hoping that someone would say something. ”Well, first time for everything I suppose…” The Eevee sighs as he walks behind Sar, amazed when the Greninja drops the massive Tyranitar like a sack of potatoes. ”Okay Sardotha, I’m impressed by your fighting capabilities. Your trainer did an amazing job.” Gear comments as he catches up to the Greninja as they begin to walk on Route 19 back towards Aspertia City, and home. ”Oh, I forgot to mention, but Aspertia City is destroyed for lack of better words, the Gym’s gone completely and a majority of the City was ablaze when I escaped…” His voice drifts off while his mind snaps back to Peek and worrying about her. She’s fine Gear, calm down. She’s a tough Pikachu and she’s been through much worse than this, you know that. Just concentrate on the problems at hand, she’ll be fine... He tries to reassure himself mentally, but to not much avail. ”You better be alright Peek…” He quietly mutters as the 4 continue their trek.

Yunkai

The elderly delphox merely nodded in response, walking with the group as she gazed upon the bodies of the dead and dying pokemon. Yunkai wondered if her family at the manor were all right upon seeing all of this. Being part of the richest families of the city would surely attract the undesirable to say the least.

"If this city isn't destroyed, then it will be a hotspot for those who saw humans as pests. Self-made lords and kings bent on keeping the humans from returning." she said as they passed a conkeldurr and his troop staring them down. She looked toward Sardotha and the rest of the group. "Keep moving. If he attacks I'll take care of it." she said flatly, her guard up as she lifted her cane. The tip of it glowed with heat as she saw that the Conkeldurr was following them with intent. An intent was she clearly knew was not the same as their own.

Black-fang
Location: Castella city

The ride with a Lapras wasn't the comfiest one. It had taken hours and been raining almost whole way. Sometimes more, then less, then more again. Now Black-fang landed on the ground of Unova, thanking the Lapras who had carried him there. He shaked his fur to get at least the most of the water away, even though it was still raining. Just an old habit.

Black-fang looked around him. Apparently he had landed on a big, busy city. Or at least he assumed it had been busy. No there was moving almost no one exept for other pokemons. Water-types we happily skipping in rain, when a group of misbehaving groups stealing everything they could find. However, being intimidate as he was, no one was coming near Black-fang. At least not for now.

He had made his own conclusion what had happened to humans. And the sight just made his thought confirmed. They had abandoned all the Pokemons they had treated as friends. They were just a punch of backstabbers. And if he'd ever found his trainer, he had only one question. Why did she abandon him? The one she already saved from starving to death. It was then hitting him. He hadn't eaten anything since yesterday. ”It's time to hunt some food.”

Sombre narrowed his eyes as the Tyranitar approached their little group. He was about to ready an attack when Sardotha beat him to it. The Absol smiled as he realized the other two were perfectly capable of defeating strong Pokemon on their own. However, he knew that he had the best chance of keeping them safe. After all, he was too powerful for Gym Battling, and Violettaa was the Eighth leader. He pulled a small token out of his fur- the Night Badge. He was about to tuck the necklace back into his fur when he saw another two charms. It was his Absolite, and Violetta's Key Stone. Sombre wondered if it could still work, since he had both, and his question was answered when he nudged them with his nose. Sombre smiled. Violetta had rarely let him experience his Mega forme. She was simply too busy to really teach him how to do it himself. He whipped around and brought up a shield of Dark energy to block a Flamethrower attack, and leapt up with his powerful wings to deliver a Brave Bird to the unfortunate Darmanitan who had tried to attack. Settling back down with the three other Pokemon, he noticed Gear whispering about Peek. Padding up to the Eevee, he put a comforting wing on his back. "Don't worry, Gear. I heard news that Peek was in Nimbasa City, performing in the Pokemon Musical. I'm sure she's okay."

Sardotha

Looking back at the now mega-evolved Absol, I stared for a few moments, seeing that the Absol had more than just a fighter's spirit, but an ace up his sleeve as well. To have the ability to mega-evolve was a step closer to becoming a god, but I only hoped that it wouldn't get to this dark-type's head. Power is what it is, but it is also dangerous. I flicked my head back forward, eventually, the rest of the group and I moving through the wilds.

The experience of the leaves and branches brushing against my face wasn't like anything I hadn't gone through before. It was tranquil yet overun by vegetation. I'm sure there was plenty of wild Pokemon mixed with the now abandoned Pokemon. I hummed, furrowing my eyebrows as I didn't here any activity going on in the forest. No Archen's calling or any Wingull wailing in the air as I looked up towards the canopy. This was definitely strange, for a massive amount of feral Pokemon to be away from their territory. I'm sure it had something to do with the storm but still. "This silence... this peace... its almost ironic." I stated, moving my eyes to the back of the group as I was in the front. The wet dew dripping on my forehead calmed me, and I still trust this forest more than the concrete jungles planted in this world.

Looking to my left and right, keeping an eye on our surroundings and not letting my guard down, I was focusing on keeping the group safe that the only thing I could hear was my footsteps.

Gear

"Don't worry, Gear. I heard news that Peek was in Nimbasa City, performing in the Pokemon Musical. I'm sure she's okay."The now Mega-evolved Sombre says as he tries to comfort the Eevee, putting a wing on his back as Gear looks up to the Absol. "Well, that's certainly a relief to hear, at least she's safe..." Gear sighs as they continue to walk, before turning his attention to Sardotha.

"This silence... this peace... its almost ironic."Gear nods, looking around for potential enemies, the silence almost unnerving compared to the chaos of the cities. "I'll tell you one thing, it's certainly off-putting to have such peacefulness so close to the chaos of the cities, such change seams almost too good to be true..." The Young Eevee says as he attempts to shake off the excess water from his coat to no avail. "While I'm not thrilled about being soaked, I'm glad this storm is still going, it's probably keeping other Pokemon out of our way as they try to take shelter. Gear comments as he stays on the lookout for anything that may try to jump them.

Location: Route 6

Why was the journey long? Well, it's different. And it's not the fact it was long, it felt long. Unova was like a big q with an apostrophe before it. Everything was connected except for a little area where you travel by boat. And that was from Vibrank to Castelia and back. It was scary in a sense, making this journey. Where were they to go from here? Where were others like themselves? It was kind of haunting, everyone here was crazy, the grass was torn and trees were cut down. Pokemon were fighting everywhere. The group even had to avoid some attacks. Illyaria frowned. This is horrible She thought and then shook her head. Trying to snap herself out of such negative thoughts. But it was horrifying. This wasn't how anyone should live, no-one should have to go through such things.

"Look up ahead!" Greta called out and the Lilligant tilted her head to the side. Within the distance, she saw the city of Driftveil in front of her. She smiled. But it seemed so far away. "So, what's the plan?" She then asked, unsure of what they were to do in Driftveil. "Greta, do you still have your... you know?" She then asked. The grass type wanted to keep it quite just in case anyone heard and tried to fight them for it. The Gardevoir winked and chuckled. "No worries, I have it." She answered and Illyaria smiled. Since there was no-longer six of them(As Melody and Layla were off at sea) and Vi was never in a good state in the rain, they had to be more careful than ever. "We should probably find berries... or something!" Illyaria then claimed and Greta then nodded. "You guys find shelter and I'll get food, we can then wait and see if the storm dies down a bit." She suggested and went off. Illyaria nodded. They hated going through chargestone cave. But Illyaria was pleased they split from the water types before going in. They weren't too strong as separate Pokémon, but as a group, they were quite powerful.

"Here." She suggested as they went into some trees. There was a small grotto where they could hide for a while. It seemed safe, it seemed empty so why not. At least stay until Greta was back with berries. They all went in and helped Vi relax a bit. "You'll be fine, we just need to get through here into Driftveil and hopefully, someone would be there to help us." She said with a smile, hoping that could cheer her up a bit. But she sighed. Illyaria frowned and looked around to check if anyone followed them or anything. Though feral Pokémon weren't very intelligent so she hoped for the best.

Striation City -> On his way to Nacrene City

My, my. The weather was certainly not pleasant. If only Evelyn was here. She'd take care of him. He knew that. Everything out here seemed so scary. Everyone seemed different, all the Pokémon were different. He didn't know what to think of it, he was only young and naïve. All his team were missing with her too, though he travelled beside her, not in a ball. He missed everyone. This town was so big and he was so small. I'm scared. He thought to himself and frowned, he was defenceless here, maybe, just maybe he should go back inside to stay safe. But he could try to find someone to help him, right? He knew a few moves but that was about it. This was such a hard decision, but being the brave naïve boy he was, he ran off. His goal? Get to the bigger cities: Nimbasa, Castelia, anywhere where there were more spots to hide and maybe other Pokémon could help him there. That was what he wanted and he was willing to brave it out should anything happen. Because he was small, and cute and he belonged to Evelyn, a known coordinator(he is wearing his trainer's Contest Star Ribbon, he was hoping he could ward off some wild Pokémon and they'd leave him alone.

Sardotha

LOCATION: Lentimas Town

Continuing on through the forest, our little group were definitely getting the best out of this situation. We hadn't horded and wasted food like other abandoned Pokemon did, but with that on my mind, I'm sure it was going to take more than just a medium-sized tub of food to hold us, let alone any other members we pick up along the way. However, I continued with confidence, knowing that my allies were had their redeeming qualities to get us out of situations.

The treeline broke, almost in an instant and we stumbled upon a small town, Lentimas Town as the sign was written. We were greeted by a few wandering eyes, pokemon still posted at their front porches, waiting for their master's. For once there was a town that didn't have any imbeciles running amok in this establishment. I looked over to see a store and a Pokemon Center in the more productive looking area of the place. It smelled like that this town used their resources to their advantage, coal being that resource. I coughed a little bit as coal dust entered my nostrils slightly and I realized what happened. The mine must have exploded, sending all the dust and debris only out one way; through the mine entrance. I didn't know where it was, but I inferred that the billowing of black smoke in the distance was in the general vicinity of the mine.

I entered the store a few straddlers still stealing a few items but the place was pretty untouched, minus most expensive snacks and beverages. "Take a hike." I commanded to the looters, being a couple of Rattata and Purugly, standing with a bit of sass. She hissed at me as I hissed back stronger, rage filling my eyes. She backed down and headed out the front door. "Alright... let's get the essentials. Dry Food and Water. That's all we're going to need. And pack as light as you can." I explained, finding single-servings of dry food in the back, the Rattata standing idle as they weren't getting into our business.

Location: Route 6
How long had it been now? A good while, wasn't it. "Wouldn't Greta have sent us a message by now or something if there was trouble?" Fiora asked, they all stared out into the pouring rain. "Look, we're nearly at Driftveil now. We can go to the Pokémon market, hopefully find food and stack up and move on." Illyaria then suggested, putting on a smile for the other two. Just then however, a figure entered the grotto and the Lilligant turned. But she sighed in relief as it was only Greta, who smiled and brought back a few berries with her psychic abilities. "This should tide us over till we get to Driftveil. She suggested and they all thanked her. They all sat together and munched on the berries. Enjoying the taste of the freshly ripe fruit, Greta turned her head. "What is it?" Illyaria asked, cocking her head to the side, somewhat confused. But all she did was stay confident and smile. "Mel and Layla, they're safe but they cannot find Rick anywhere." She said but suddenly frowned. "They said that they are going to meet us probably at Castelia City where the piers are, it's easier for them to travel that way." The Gardevoir then said after, holding her Gardevoirite close to her chest. The mega bracelet was on Illyaria's arm. So mega evolving was quick and efficient when it came to getting things done.

After a while of eating, they got up again and Greta sighed. Illyaria giggled a bit and decided to deal with this. "Let's go!" She cheered and they all left together. The rain wasn't stopping, which was strange. But they needed to keep going as these berries weren't going to last very long! They climbed on small wooden paths over the grass in order to avoid the Pokémon beneath but if any Pokémon dared to even jump up and attack, a vine whip was in order, or even a psybeam. But they would go up and down on these bridges, it was amusing somewhat. But at the same time, she just wanted to get this journey over and done with. Find Rickard and go home again and be happy. But as soon as she dwelled in her thoughts, she looked up and after walking down a set of carved stairs, they were there, Driftveil City. Finally! She thought to herself gleefully as they entered the city where the the battle tournaments were held. It was definitely amazing in person. But enough distractions, they needed to increase their supplies before the desert journey to Nimbasa City. Greta stayed outside while everyone else went inside to grab necessities. She got a small bag and went to fill it with food. She wanted to be quick though in case someone hurts Greta.

Black-fang
Location: Castella city

Black-fang were looking around the city trying to find something to eat. Too bad for him, every piece of food seemed to be gone already. He searched the stores that had been broken into, but he only found some sweet pokeblocks. And he hated sweets. As he started to get more and more hungry, he started looking the garbage cans. He knew what to look for: a restaurant. They throw away great amounts of food that could be eatable. He had done the same in his childhood trying to survive.

Using his smell he found a restaurant. But wasn't only one who'd gotten the same idea. Three Raticates and several Patrats were already looking through them. Black-Fang, however, wasn't scared. He growled intimidating and when nothing happened he let out a loud bark that made them quickly run away. By their behaviour he assumed they were wild. He looked in one can and smirked. Just as he had thought. There was no pokefood left but instead there were great amounts of food humans ate. He pushed the can down so everything spread to ground and sniffed around to find the best pieces.

As he sat there eating sausages the rain got worse and he knew he had to find a place to dry himself and maybe a sleep a night. He had to find it and soon. Black-fang looked inside the restaurant's windows but the smell that caught him was hideous. Carefully he observed the space. As a night creature, he had no troubles of seeing in dark and the look that caught him was something made a fighter like him retreat. High, near the roof were sitting several Murkrow's, couple of Noctowls and bird pokemons he didn't even know what they were. The scarier sight, however, was in the ground. There was signs of massive fight, blood and piece of fur all over the place.

Silently, Black-fang left away deciding to find a place that wasn't full of murderous birds. This city was really a mess.

Yunkai

Yunkai was an observant type, never really one to speak unless she had something to say. Though, almost always, she did have something to say at the time. In these times, however, the absence of the human race was something that was eerie. The absence of human activity, pokemon and their humans having a day together. Many things that one would start to miss once they are gone. She clutched the sash in her hand as she used her walking stick to keep herself level. she cursed under her breath, remembering why she had retired in the first place. She may have thought of herself as a queen, but even queens have their limits.

"Some mons are at least trying to keep some order. I witnessed some Audinos in the bakery still churning out bread as we speak." she said as she rumaged through some of the boxes. She was not above eating dry pokemon food. Often times she had eaten it on her travels and ate some as a light snack between meals. However, high class dining was not an option any more. Or at least not at this very moment.

Gear

Gear quickly grabs a small knapsack off of one of the store shelves and begins filling it with food and water for the long journey ahead, while also looking back over his shoulder occasionally at the Rattata that are standing in the corner. While he didn't like them being here and watching them take their supplies, he knew out of good conscience they couldn't just kill them for this, knock em out maybe, but not kill.

"Some mons are at least trying to keep some order. I witnessed some Audinos in the bakery still churning out bread as we speak." He overhears Lady Yunkai say as he fills up his sack to the brim and throws it on his back. "They might be keeping order, or they might be seeking solitude from the chaos around them through the rhythm of their work. My trainer used to do the same thing when he was stressed, just do the same thing over and over again and take comfort that he knows that it would never change, has an almost hypnotic feel to it when I think about it." the Eevee says before putting his ear to the floor. There was something coming from the way they came, and it was BIG. "Sardotha! I don't know what it is, but something big's coming in from outside of town! I don't know about you guys, but I'd rather not find out what it is." He says as he makes his way towards the door, carrying as much supplies as he can.

Sardotha

While I was filling up on a few more packets of food, I flicked my ear to hear Gear's inference and stated, "I'm sure that there are pokemon everywhere that are trying to keep themselves from surrendering to the powerful force of insanity going on around us..." I spoke before furrowing my brow. I was unsettled, as if the earth shifted below us slightly. Though it was only on the surface, the slight and short hum resonating from the ground was enough to get me pondering as to what it might be. "An earthquake?... no, we're nowhere near tectonic plates..." I thought just to glance at Gear. I listened to Gear's warning, he stating,"Sardotha! I don't know what it is, but something big's coming in from outside of town! I don't know about you guys, but I'd rather not find out what it is."

Zipping up my pack, I straddled it onto my shoulders, saying, "Great ears, Gear." I lock onto everyone's gaze and stated, "I agree with Gear. Take up your last supplies, we're leaving" I looked over my shoulder to see that the Rattata scurried away from the scene, quickly climbing into an airvent in the back of the store. Bringing my attention back towards the door, I wondered if it might have been that Tyranitar I knocked out earlier... I hoped it was...

Yunkai

Yunkai winced, her bad leg started to stir it's ugly head again. She leaned on her cane as he folded in as much dry food as she possibly could before heading looking up at the airvent the rattata went up. As powerful of a delphox as she was, what ever was out there and was causing an earthquake would cause more trouble for her than the elder could handle. "We need to find a back way out of here if we want to stay out of trouble. It's still unknown if gangs infultrated this city as well." she said as she ran a hand along the wall until she felt a door.

She gingerly pulled back the door to see what was inside, making sure not to disturb anything that my be in the room. What she saw was a group of voltorbs and electrobs. A wash of dread and fear draped itself over her face as she slowly closed the door knowing that they hadn't noticed her yet. The elder fox limped over toward Sardotha as fast as she could, but in a hushed tone. "My dearest frog, I think we have a bigger problem than whatever is causing the earth to shake and they are in the shape of orbs in the closet." she whispered to him, her tone bearly holding back the panic she was feeling.
