"Loyalty is all we got..." She smiles at Eli,he always was there for her no matter how she treated him. She was the closest thing to a friend or brother she had in her life. And she rather have one friend than no friends at all. As they got into the empty vacate streets of the city,if she had to she be able to hear a pen drop. Until John broke the silence. "Loyalty is something to live by. Makes the difference between a gang, a team, or even a business, and a family." She nodded in argeement."Ever wonder what drives us when nothing we do matters to the rest of the universe, or will matter in three hundred years when humans will be galaxies apart? Earth could just become as much of a fossil as the dinosaurs." Aurora starts to think about the question. She shrugs and looks at him. "That's a little too deep for me." She looks back in front of her,she wasn't big on deep questions.
"Loyalty is all we got," Tomomi blinked a few times. Was the only thing that tied her down loyalty? The idea was almost laughable at, loyalty was such an odd thing. Something she never really gave to anyone, sure she was still on the cops side. Not because she was loyal though, only because she wanted to help the city. Her morals drove her to succeed. ".....Ever wonder what drives us when nothing we do matters to the rest of the universe-" Almost losing her footing, Tomomi felt like interrupting but let John continue.
After he finished the sentence, she let out a deep breath. What was with him and being all deep now? She loved to have conversations like that, but at the same time it pained her since it easily made her depressed. "Try not to think to far ahead," she addressed John, "what matters is whats happening here and now. You choose what matters or not. If you think to far you'll begin to doubt yourself......" She finished. As long as you believe strongly in a cause, what others thought didn't matter. She held in a smirk, they still seemed like such kids.....

Despite the speech and the serious looks he gathered from the faces of his fellow gang members, Questin still couldn't help feeling disappointed. He felt like he should of been more emotional, more impacting. He'd certainly been serious--a fact he wasn't going to deny himself--but sometimes, even he could admit, being serious didn't get the point across. A little kid could be serious about the ripped arm of his favorite doll, but that didn't make it a serious situation, and that didn't make other people care about it other than him. Questin decided he would have to work on his speech-giving skills if he'd ever want to make it big around here. Certainly that froofy Dayze Aurora gave some uplifting speeches... Something to rile up her group of mindless monkeys.
He realized with a frown that he'd been spacing out--something he couldn't afford. Not with all his members still around, watching, studying, prying, judging. He had to be the fearless leader. The guy without an expression to comment on. The one doesn't get distracted, because that meant an opening for failure, and failure just wasn't acceptable. Not now, not ever. Failure of any sort was cause for punishment. And he was the guy to give the punishments, not the guy to receive them. Hence why he was the leader. None of these bumbling, mindless people had the gull to be who he was or act the way he did. They wouldn't be able to handle it. Questin was convinced of this.
"Personally? My life is a little more important than a little bit of nature." Dominik's voice snapped Questin away from drifting off into his thoughts. Again. He studied the smile on his second-in-command's face, but wasn't sure why it came off as a sham. It was just a feeling--one he shrugged off as quickly as it came. He didn't have time to be overly suspicious of every little thing. Besides, of all the people he could trust, Dominik was the most trustworthy of them all. Probably the only one he trusted, really. "Anything we have to do tonight, or is it swing?" Questin mulled that over. Was there anything they needed to be doing? He supposed his schedule was clear, more or less. "We haven't gone in a few days," Dominik pointed out, causing Questin to nod slowly. "I'm sure the gang'll be fine for a night," the purplette added.
Questin sighed, running a hand through his hair. He supposed he was thinking too much lately, getting caught up in his work and his thoughts and all his leader-like duties, whatever those truly consisted of. It wasn't like he ran a completely organized thing here. He oversaw a bunch of people with equal mindsets that were more or less free to do as they pleased as long as none broke his rules. He supposed his hold on them all was starting to slip lately, especially with his piece-of-crap speeches like that last one, but the relationship wasn't completely unfixable. He could do something about it. He'd just have to figure out how.
A night off was something he needed. But could he afford it? He looked around at the dispersing crowd and sighed again, letting his expression show his disappointment for a brief moment before he was steeling it over again. Yes, he supposed he could afford it. If the others could, then so could he. There weren't any complaints about in-group fighting or threats to leave and the only mentions of suspicious activity came from the threat of the undercover cops, but that could just be a rumor. He was too paranoid to pass it off as one, though. "You've convinced me. We can go." He let a smile ghost over his lips as he motioned for Dominik to follow after him. Dominik's company was always welcome. Not that he'd ever admit that out loud.
As they crossed the city, a short ways away from the abandoned hospital, the two of them passed through a less acceptable part of the city (well, compared to the rest of the rat-fest anyway). As they passed a decent Italian restaurant, Questin crinkled his nose at the site of a group heading their way. He wondered what they were doing around this area until he saw the unmistakable flash of pink hair. Really, what a gross color. He glanced at Dominik for support, but after that disappointing rally, he really wasn't up to a fight or any huge scene of an argument. The fact that the two of them were also outnumbered didn't really concern him, however. Questin looked the group over with a judging indifference, obvious looking down on them. Their opinions made them lower than the rest, lower than those in the Synx, that is. Dayze members just annoyed him, especially the group of dogs surrounding their "precious" leader.
As they passed, Questin wondered if he should say something or just leave them to go about their business. He had all the confidence that they wouldn't be trying anything either. They didn't look like they were in the mood for a fight. They looked like they were just out to hang out with each other. At the last moment, in passing, Questin made his decision. "You should drop by the dance club." He didn't look at any of them as he spoke. The way he stared straight ahead could of even made it seem like he was just talking to himself. After the words were out, he didn't wait for a reply, only kept walking, making sure Dominik was still firmly by his side. When they passed the group of Dayze and were far enough of of ear shot, Questin spoke again. "Though they might dirty up my dance floor."

She keeps her head up,not going to give them satifaction of seeing her look down at the cement. To her that was a sign of weakness and fear, two things she hated. Just as they pass the group she thinks that he has the intelligence not to say anything but he was a Synx, they were already labeled as stupid idiots by her. But maybe, just maybe they wouldn't say a word, "You should drop by the dance club." . Or maybe not. She moves her shoulder so it wouldn't brush Questin's. As the two disappeared down the street she rolled her eyes and wondered. What the Hell is he up to? And should we go or just have the maturity not to? As they get to the resterant, she opens the door for the others.
Once they were all in she took off her jacket and slings it over her right shoulder. Waiting she looked at the menu, they had on the wall. Most of the items she has never eaten before but honestly she would eat anything as long as it fulled her stomach and was warm for once.

But as they passed no one really said or did much. Until the brown haired one said for them to come to his dance club. John waited for someone else to reply first, but no one did, so he kept his mouth shut. I'm not one for dancing anyway. John thought to himself.
They arrived at the restaurant, John walked in behind everyone else, but still in front of Aurora since she held open the door. Now John was warm, but even more hungry since he could smell the food being cooked in the kitchen. He leaned back against a wall and waited for them to be seated. He thought about the guns he was openly carrying and wondered if the workers would say anything about it. He unslung the shotgun from his back and placed the stock down on the ground but held onto the barrel, almost like a cane. His eye caught that of one of the waiters who was nervously looking in his direction, he smiled, trying to look a little less dangerous to a random person than he did.
The Dayze and the Synx were technically her enemies, but for some reason the Synx got under her skin more. Just seeing the members made her skin crawl, and a feeling of disgust wash over her. It was a surprise too, since Tomomi was a more collected person. Putting on a poker-face, she watched as Aurora and them seemed to exchange heated looks. A comment about coming to a dance club, she could't tell if he was trying to be polite or not though. As the exchange ended, they walked inside. The restaurant was warm, the smell of food wafting in the air as the group took a seat.
Not interested in small talk right now, Tomimi let her small hand graze over the menu. Her eyes looking over the different foods, it was enough to make her cry out in happiness. A smile tugging at her lips, she blinked a few times. What would be good? She thought as her eyes wandered over to the drinks. Would they serve wine?

"You've convinced me. We can go." Dominik nodded, not really having anything else to do as he started walking, falling a little behind Questin, but not too far to the point of being unable to defend the leader in case something went down. Not like it would, considering they were in Synx territory, but you never knew... And not like Dominik would really die to protect the gang leader, but he had to keep up the act. You never knew when you'd be in the perfect position to get to the top and let it all go falling down.
Dominik didn't hesitate to tense up, though, and pull his fist around his brass knuckles as they heard a group coming their way. Questin didn't say or do anything to suggest that they would attack, even when it became clear that the group was not Synx. Dominik scowled a little. Maybe he was too into the gang war, but he liked Dayze members slightly less than Synx members. Not like that was saying much. It was like saying he'd rather be shot in the head than strangled: either option sucked, but one sucked just a little bit more... But that was beside the point. Even though they were outnumbered, Dominik was pretty confident he could take at least a few of the Dayze down if it came to that.
"You should drop by the dance club." Questin didn't seem to be looking for a fight, though, so Dominik wasn't going to start one. He hated to seem like some dog for the gang leader, but if that was going to bring the gangs down... Well, that was what he would do. They just kept walking though, neither group stopping. The two didn't talk to each other until they were quite far away from the other group's hearing range, even if they had some freakishly good hearing. "Though they might dirty up my dance floor." Dominik had to smirk at that. The fact was, the dance floor was spotless. Questin didn't like anyone messing with it. So no, The Dayze probably wouldn't make it any worse than it already was, unless there was a fight... Blood was pretty hard to clean. Then again, these were gangs. They knew how to do that kind of stuff, and so did Dominik. He had done it before.
-------
"After you," Dominik said simply as he held the door open for Questin, stepping into the dance hall after the leader. It was mildly full. A little more than usual, but not exactly bursting. There wasn't anyone that completely stuck out... Not at a first glance, at least. And, well, nobody was fighting, so Dominik let himself relax a little. He liked dancing, to be honest. Maybe not the most constructive use of his time within the gang, but it was something to help him calm down and get away from all the blood.

@Cypher: I saw the trailer, though. I think I've seen it before. I think. The trailer, I mean, not that movie. It looks like an awesome movie!
@Forever: >< Duuuude, I hate when that happens. I totally ragequit. It tends to help typing stuff up in word, then copy/pasting in the posting area if you ever wanted to give that a try. Not that it really helps now. ><
@Digit: Nah, go ahead and post. I can't do anything again until poetic posts and she said she won't be able to reply until sometime this week, probably later in the week. It's fine if you post ahead of the others though. I'm sure they can catch up.

I really had this nice long post that got them to the restaurant and stuff but my computer lost connection at the last second and all my work was erased... I don't have the heart to retype it right now and I am busy tommorrow but I will definitly post on monday.. sorry.
Re: Revolution | noituloveR
Also, Drive is fucking awesome. That's all you need to know. Well, that and maybe this trailer.
Re: Revolution | noituloveR
@Cypher: Drive? I never seen nor heard of that movie before, honestly. ^^ I'm sorry. And the beating thing was just an example/suggestion. None of the cops, by all means, have to do it. Do whatever suits you and your character!
@Poetic: Do what you like. I've been trying to come up with a legit plot, but so far nothing much has come to mind. ><

Re: Revolution | noituloveR
@Cypher: I've never actually seen that movie, so yeah. ^^" As for Carl being a good cop, that'll probably be a good thing... I mean, don't want too many people getting randomly beaten up and all that
