Introduction

Riding Hoods and the Blood Wolves, two bands whose rivalries are fierce and scary. Although they are under the same company label, and are supposed to be brother and sister bands, they can never seem to get along! When their managers force them to do a concert together on the other side of town, both bands are completely devastated. What's worse is that their vans break down in the middle of Mystflame Woods, and they're going to be stuck there with each other! As the night comes, and the bands are left alone without a shelter, they'll be forced to pair up and find supplies in the dense forest. What will happen between each pair? Will they argue and bicker the whole way...or will a romance bloom?

“Let’s look at logic, shall we?” Cadmus glanced around at his surroundings. “It’s almost pitch-black out here, so to look for anything that isn’t wood is stupid. If you didn’t pack a lunch for the long trip, then that’s your problem and not mine. Last time I checked, I wasn’t dubbed babysitter, so if you want to survive go cry to your girlfriends. Now piss off!”

Now where was he…he listened to the song play over in his head and picked up the meter as he began strumming again—a little louder so that if Hana decided to speak again, he wouldn’t hear her.

And how~can the world want~me to change, they’re the ones that~stay the same. They don’t know me~ ‘cause I’m~not~here~

Hanako rolled her eyes, let's look at the logic shall we she mimicked in her mind. what Hanako wanted to do was smack this guy so hard he wouldn't be able to think of what his name was. OH MY GOD! this guy is such a lazy fat-ass dummy he can't even help out his own band mates? What they heck is his problem! I could do so many things to this guy if he wasn't in a big band, if I could do anything I want without getting in trouble with his lawyer trust me I would to something about his attitude. Hana put her hand on her head and closed her eyes then looked straight at him in a way that she want to take his guitar and smash it hard on his head. Instead Hanako placed her hand over the strings gently, something she did to stop the echo's and sounds from her bass it didn't damage the guitar or bass and she knew that for a fact. "look I'm trying to be nice here and if you hate me just say it you don't need to be a child and scream at me for helping out with the bands." she released her hand off the guitar "I'll just take the shift to stay here and guard camp while your playing your guitar and hiding up there like a baby." she said not speaking angry or harshly, but kindly, sweetly, and gently. she sighed and went then looked back at him. "By the way you missed a note." she said and jumped down onto the ground and walked back to the van.

Cadmus immediately stopped strumming when his pick only returned plucks and twangs. He glanced to the foreign hand that rested upon the neck of his guitar, and then up to its wielder. His crisp-blue halos gazed upon her face with the ferocity of a wild animal. Despite anything she had said that moment, he jerked his guitar away from her hand just as she lifted it and snarled, "Don't you ever touch my guitar!"

By the way you missed a note.

"I didn't miss shit. How would a groupie know anything besides sex and drugs?" he scoffed. Yes, he called her a groupie because he didn't think she possessed any skill except in the art of being a pest.

Cadmus set his guitar down between his legs, allowing it to lean against his thigh as he reached to his right and unzipped his backpack. He removed from its confines a black, winter jacket with plush inlay and faux-fur along the collar, which revealed the bag of Cheetos Cheese Curls, dried fruit, and some Ziplocs of baklava [Greek-style sandwiches]. He removed the Ziploc of baklava and reached even deeper into his bag for a silver canteen of his private stash of Ouzo , and then a small, 12 oz bottle of Jameson.

The guitarist parted the bag and removed a sandwich that might have been unusual to an American. It was a ham, honey mustard, cashew, cucumber, and romaine lettuce sandwich. Cadmus slipped the sandwich into his mouth, and hefted his guitar once again into his lap as he went back to playing.

Hanako herd the echo's of his voice as she walked away she gave a grin "bit me." she mummbled walking away, when she reached the vans she sat down by herself on a log staring at the ground "what a stupied twerp at least I'm doing something useful then playing my instrument bad infact he missed several notes a real guitarist and bass player would know that..." she shook her head "just try and get him out of my mind." she whispered thinking of something to do. she picked up a twig and started drawing in the ground.

Danielle turned and looked in the direction of the voice. He was kind of cute, but that didn't make her forget that they were rivals.

"I'm Danielle." she replied and took a step toward him.

She looked at the rest of the people there. Two of them had gone off and were now arguing about something. She decided not to get involved.

"Now that we know who each other are, how about we go gather food or something." she said.

Hopefully he wasn't going to be a jerk. What was he doing before he came there? She didn't care. All she wanted was to get warm and eat something. Camping without planning it seemed like it was going to be harder than she had always thought it would be.

Rick, never one to buy into the bands' supposed rivalry, met Danielle's gaze with a pleasant smile. He brushed the chips of wood from his coat and nodded, acknowledging the drummer's greeting. "Pleasure to be working with you," he intoned in his soft voice, before looking back out at the woods. A light dust of snow had started to fall again, lightly covering the ground and the vans, but Cadmus' words had been correct - the clouds from the snowfall had rendered everything beyond the campfire invisible.

"I don't think foraging would be a good idea at the moment," the bassist said. "It's getting late and dark, and we haven't started a fire yet." He looked down at the fire pit, then over at Cadmus. "We'll give lighting a small fire a go, then turn in and go out for food at first light. I don't fancy dying of poisonous mushrooms because I couldn't see what I grabbed. And besides," here Rick smiled a little, "someone has to keep The Greek from killing you guys."

Danielle looked around at the falling snow. She shivered and wrapped her arms around herself.

"You're right. Let's go somewhere warm. I vote we get some sleep and then worry about whatever we need to worry about." she said tryig not to complain.

Danielle had never lived anywhere where there was snow an rarely ever been in the snow. She had always been a city girl in California. The weather was going to bethe most difficult togetused to. She loked at the ground and then looked back up at the others.

"How are we going to find food when there is snow? Doesn't snow mean less food growing?" she ased not really sure about how snowy area worked.

Renee smiled at Jade and suggested"I heard there was a spring somewhere in this forest. Now all we need to do is find two, clean buckets. I think there might be buckets in the van." She turned around and ran into the van. Renee dashed to the back of the large car and opened a storage closet door. Inside was a cluttered pile of cleaning products, and two, gleaming, silver buckets. She picked them up and ran back outside. Renee let out a satisfied sigh and handed Jade one of the buckets. She grinned at him and asked,"Shall we get going?"

Jade wasn't going to lie: He was glad that Renee wasn't being so girly about the whole ordeal. And he was even more thankful when she emerged from behind the girls' van with two convenient buckets which he took in his hand. He ran the other hand through his hair with the hint of a smile playing at his lips, "Well, it would be nice but... the others have a point. It is getting pretty dark. Do you think it's really safe to go trekking through the woods at this point?"

Mind you, Jade was not afraid of the woods--he was man enough to take it; however, it still didn't sound like a smart idea and he'd hate to dea; with a scared girl.

((I think I've discovered the cause for Jade's sexist tendencies: He's insecure about his own manliness. -shot- Speaking of it getting dark, Are they all gonna wait until morning in RP to start exploring?))

I'm still very interested, but that's the problem with RPs where people are paired up...when one person stops posting, you lose 2 players effectively.

I'm a night-owl on the east end of our great shining nation, but there are some days when I can't be on as late as others, mostly because I'm stuck on the XBox or preparing for a presentation or something like that and won't be on for as long.
