Skinner, Rev and Grizz didn't find out anymore details in Atlantic City and eventually came back. There were a lot of theories floating around about what had happened to Big Foot, who could have done it. Some wondered if he'd been doing business on the side and some sort of deal went wrong, others figured there was a rival gang to blame for it, and a third belief was that the waitress had probably been attacked, and that Bigfoot would probably have tried to help her out and maybe the guy got lucky, or maybe he had a partner who snuck up on Bigfoot. Nobody really knew anything, and being back in Montreal there wasn't a whole lot more they could do, as ironic as it was they just had to wait for the cops to try and find out what exactly had happened.
When they got back to Montreal the funeral was held for Bigfoot, he didn't really have any other family other than the club, Skinner, who had known him the longest, said a few words at the memorial service but that was about it. Shortly after the funeral and memorial service for Bigfoot life started getting back to normal slowly. Oz' plan of getting the drugs into the college party scene was working like a charm. Chazz and Sick Boy had done the initial deals, but it was too risky if they would all of a sudden get caught, so they pawned the job off on the Sixers, the Sades support club, some called it a "puppet" club, they pretty much did whatever the Sades asked them to do, and in exchange, well they were allowed to remain their own club and weren't run out of town by the Sades. The more promising members of the Sixers would eventually "graduate" so to speak, and end up transferring and joining the Sades, although no Sixer would ever be considered for any Officer position.
Life was getting back to normal for Oz, he was back with his club, albeit in a different city, he was back doing work and making money, a lot of money, both for himself and the club as Skinner and the Officers agreed to give him a small cut of all the deals they made, as it had been his idea and he'd been doing all the legwork for it. Him and Melina remained the same, there wasn't really too much "relationship" stuff, they mostly just met up somewhere and had sex, for hours or the whole night, and then in the morning would say goodbye and go their own ways. On the surface it just seemed to be about sex, but there was something more to it for Oz, he could feel something else there but he had never been one for "relationships", he was busy making the club money, and he wasn't sure if Melina felt the same way and didn't want to risk losing out on the great sex just cause he opened his mouth.
Jester continued bringing Darla in on more and more jobs, none as big as the bank hit, which they managed to get away with. Due to Ronnie's quick thinking of dispersing the money and essentially laundering it at a casino they had gotten away with the biggest bank heist in Montreal's history. Jester and Davis' would hang out occasionally, Jester seemed to be getting closer to the kid, sure he had some quirks, and didn't entirely buy into what was going on with the club, stuff like the way Ronnie would hit on Darla in front of him, just to piss both of them off etc. Jester knew Ronnie was just being an ass, but he also knew with Davis not being in the club, there wasn't much that he could do. It was after a conversation with Davis, where he'd explained that cause Davis wasn't a member there wasn't much he could do without causing trouble that Jester got an idea. Davis had been around long enough to be considered a "Hang Around" which was kinda the first step in joining the club, the next step was to become a Prospect, and then of course after that, if the club voted in favour, you'd become a member. He'd never seen Davis ride a motorcycle of any kind, and wasn't sure how Davis would handle a fight if one would pop up. But he also knew that if Davis was to become a member, it'd solve all the issues he was having with Darla and Ronnie. He'd be able to tell Ronnie that Darla was his Ol' Lady, and then Ronnie would have to follow club policy and back off. But it to go from Prospect to Member you had to have 100% approval from the club, and while he was sure Davis could eventually win over everyone...there was the one guy, and officer yet, that could sabotage the whole thing. Jester figured the first step would be to talk to Davis about becoming a Prospect.
Chazz continued seeing Reese, and usually had a pill or two of X for her to take, which would lead to a pretty enjoyable evening for both of them. Chazz did at times wonder if he should keep doping her up on X whenever they hung out, but he figured if she kept asking she must not mind the highs and that meant everything was good.
Sick Boy continued his prostitute business on the side, he was a little more careful after the Atlantic City trip and he got a knot in his stomach every time somebody mentioned Bigfoot and started talking or guessing about what had happened to him. So far nobody had brought up the theory that it might have been one of the other brothers in the group, but so far he was in the clear although he was always on edge, he kept expecting to run into Grizz suddenly who'd be coming to make him pay for it. He started going through different plans in his head....he could come clean, say that him and Bigfoot got into a fight...but that wouldn't explain the waitress. Money wasn't worth all this shit he figured.
-------------------------------
Melina had been informed by her secretary that a member from the Sades was waiting for her. Her and Oz had a few lunch "meetings" in her office and even though it was after lunch she figured better late than never. Which led to her reaction when seh saw Sick Boy sitting in her office.
Melina asked him what he had wanted.
Sick Boy was definitely nervous as he looked around as if expecting somebody to be eavesdropping. "Listen...you're our club lawyer right? So whatever I tell you, you have to keep secret and shit right?" he asked, clearly upset about something. Melina said that she was bound by laws to not betray the confidence of her clients.
"Okay...so...ummm...." Sick Boy started up, still nervous and uneasy. "You can't tell the cops...but uh...what about like...the club...like Skinner and Rev and those guys..." he asked nervously. Looking a bit confused she said again she couldn't discuss legal matters of her clients with anyone else. "So...let's say I did something...and wanted to confess to it...NOT saying I do...but like what if....would you be able to arrange for like, witness protection or some shit like that?" he asked. Melina told him she couldn't help him with hypothetical situations, but that he could tell her straight out what his issue was and that it was confidential. Sick Boy sat a few moments in silence before finally saying out loud for the first time ever, "I killed Bigfoot" he said. He saw the reaction in Melina's eyes. Oz wasn't an officer, but he was a fucking rock star in the club and he'd just told Oz's Ol Lady what he'd done. He pulled his gun out, but not pointing it at Melina "You fucking can't tell anyone about this! If you say antyhing I'll fucking kill you!" Sick Boy said, Melina however did a great job keeping things from escalating. She stayed professional, at least from what Sick Boy could tell on the outside, mentioning options, that if he decided to turn himself in they could arrange police protection for him. "HEY!" he shouted, "I'm NOT saying I'm confessing to shit yet okay...so don't be fucking calling any cops or shit!" he yelled, the gun still in his hand. "I...I...I just want options, I want to know what they are" he said.
Melina talked to him more, attempting to calm him down and gently suggesting he put the gun away but he ignored most of what she said.
Sick Boy was thinking things through in his head when he saw Melina going for her cell phone, she had been wanting to turn off the ringer so they wouldn't be interrupted, but in Sick Boy's mindset he didn't process that. He reached and grabbed her by the collar and yanked her over the desk, placing the gun under her chin, "I told you to keep your fucking mouth shut about this shit, got it lawyer bitch!" he whispered to her, "That includes your fucking boyfriend Oz, ESPECIALLY him, cause he won't be able to protect you, fuck if I killed Bigfoot you think he scares me!" Sick Boy said, he had to make this good, not only had he threatened their lawyer, and Oz's Ol Lady, he had to pray she was as scared as she looked right now. Melina told him she was just trying to turn the ringer off, and that she could trust him and that he didn't need the gun. He then let her go and put the gun away, "Sorry" he said. Having composed herself enough she told him that whatever he decided, it would be better for him to make his decision before others would make a decision for him. He just nodded, "I'll keep in touch" he said and left, leaving Melina to let go whatever emotions she had held back during Sick Boy's rant.
