Owen chuckled tiredly from the front seat as he watched the teens in the rear view mirror. "We'll see what happens, okay.", he told Genesis as he pulled the car up to their house and parked it by the curb. "Now come on... I want some coffee and a nice nap..." He smiled and climbed out of the car, making his ways towards the house. Coffee was in order first, since he knew he wouldn't be napping until Everett returned safely.
Jackson frowned and watched Everett oddly. "Unconventional?", he questioned, a bit confused. "Like what?" In all honesty, he was a little skeptical if everything that had happened so far was actually real. Maybe he was dreaming... He kind of hoped he was. He sighed and looked back out the window. At least if he wasn't dreaming, he didn't have to go to school...

Everett nodded. "I will be teaching you to be a hunter, like me. I may not know much about dealing with demons, but we can learn that together. You and Genesis have to learn about the supernatural world, and Owen and I will be your teachers. You will learn spells, prose, and chants. You will also learn about the different weapons and how to use them. It will be hard work, but at least you don't have to go to school, right?"

Olivia frowned and watched Genesis as he went up to his room. In all honesty, he wanted to follow, though it probably wasn't a good idea. With a small sigh he decided to look around the house, since he would be living there after all. It was off how quickly all this was happening. Just yesterday he'd asked Genesis on a date, slayed a zombie in front of him, and now he was living with him after the two of them banished a spirit together. It was weird... even for his normally chaotic life.
Jackson laughed dryly and shook his head. "Sure, I guess.", he replied, frowning a bit. "I mean... my parents are dead, I'm possessed by a demon, and I have to move in with a bunch of people I don't know and be trained to be a hunter.. but at least I don't have to go to fucking school." He sighed and slumped back against the seat, his momentary burst of anger quickly replaced by emptiness. "...why me..?", he asked quietly.

Back at the his house, Owen was just rolling out of bed. He was still tired, but figured he'd slept enough. He vaguely recalled Everett saying that he and Olivia were going to get some things from their house, but couldn't remember much more than that. Yawning he trudged to the kitchen and started making a pot of coffee. He felt like breakfast too... even though it was passed seven in the evening. Oh well, breakfast for dinner it was then. The djinn smiled to himself and poured a cup of coffee, sipping it as he went over to the fridge and pulled out some food ingredients that he knew hadn't been there earlier. He wasn't sure how long Everett and Olivia had been gone, but he was sure that he could have dinner done by the time they got home.

Genesis groaned a bit as he woke up, hearing the noise from downstairs. When had he fallen asleep? How long was he even sleeping for? He looked around the room and remembered a bit, he was moving things around, rearranging things, he probably just passed out or something from doing too much. Cleaning always made him tired after all. Not only that, he was quite hungry. What time was it?

Jackson hadn't moved from his spot on the couch, but he had spread out a bit and was napping pretty heavily. He hadn't even budged when Everett and Olivia came home.

Olivia was already in the kitchen, setting the table for Owen as the djinn went around making sure everyone had a full plate. He remembered from that morning how Everett like his eggs and had them ready and waiting for him. It was weird that it felt like they were suddenly all family, but Owen found that he quite liked it. It had been just him and Genesis for so long, and though he didn't know Olivia or Jackson well... and had absolutely hated Everett only the day before, he was willing to get along with them all.
