"Most likely.", Owen stated, a deep frown on his face as he glanced over at Everett. If it had attacked Genesis and Olivia in the park, then it was pretty obvious that his nephew was the target. He sighed and rubbed at his temples, getting frustrated by this whole mess. The radio in the car lit up a few times as he cursed to himself and played static before ultimately going out. This was pretty bad. He glanced over at the driver's side and saw Everett watching him. He opened his mouth to speak, but a blur of colour in his peripheral vision killed the words on his tongue. "Everett! Stop!", he yelled, but it was too late. The car hit the person crossing the road with a sickening thud.
Olivia screamed in the back seat and covered his face. He was used to gore and nasty things, but seeing a living person get hit was an entirely different story. Owen cursed loudly and got out of the car quickly, the engine dying as he did. He went around to the front of the car quickly to see the damage and was a bit stunned to see the person, a mere boy... probably Genesis's age, pulling himself to his feet staggeringly. He hurried over to help him, steadying him carefully. "Shit... shit...", he grumbled. "Are you okay?"

Genesis on the other hand never took his eyes off the boy who now seemed to be... smirking? This wasn't good. This was bad. Very bad. He could feel some kind of danger but he wasn't sure what it was just yet. Was it this guy? Who was this guy anyway and why did he look so damn familiar? No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't even really blink, it was like he was frozen in place.
Everett on the other hand got out of the car and went over to Owen, pulling him away from the teen. "There's no way this kid would be okay with a hit like that. Stay back and don't let him touch you." He said as he went over to the boy himself, trying to keep Owen back a little ways.

Olivia hurried to the trunk, pulling it open and rifling around until he found what he was looking for. There were several grenade shaped objects filled with pressurized holy water. He grabbed a few and ran back around the car, hurrying to the front. From what he could see, the boy hadn't moved now that he was standing, but he had a grin on his face and seemed to be staring into the car, directly at Genesis.
"Oh. I'm not interested in any of you.", the boy said finally, his voice somewhat warped. His eyes were still locked on Genesis, and his grin grew.... as soon as the young djinn stepped out of the car, he would be his. "Though I must say, hunter, it's nice to see you again in such good shape." He chuckled softly and took a step closer, using the very strength of his will to compel the young djinn in the car to just get out.
Owen growled, realizing suddenly what the demon was doing and stepped in front on him, blocking Genesis from his view. "You will not have him.", he said dangerously, his blue eyes seeming to grow brighter. If the demon took one more step, he wouldn't hold back.

"Genesis, don't look at him. Don't listen to him. Don't get out of the car." Everett ordered as he took the holy water capsules from Olivia. "Son," he started, speaking to Olivia. "the boy saved you earlier, it's your turn to save him. You know how to make the charms, there's a marker in the glove box, I want you to draw the most powerful one you can remember on him." He stated, readying himself. This was it, he was going to get the demon that tried to kill him. He was worried, but he had Owen with him and he knew Owen was a powerful djinn. "Owen, can you pull demons out of people who are possessed?" He questioned, not once taking his eyes off the boy in front of them.

The demon on the other hand simple laughed and strode calmly towards them. He wasn't any low level demon, that was for sure, and neither the djinn, the hunter, or the hunter's precious little boy frightened him at all. Speaking of the little boy... the demon grinned and turned his attention on him. Olivia was in the back seat with his prey, sitting in his lap and drawing a large symbol right in the center of his bare chest. The demon reached out and squeezed his hand in a fist, causing Olivia to whine in pain and clutch his chest. Try as he might though, the demon found he couldn't kill the boy... couldn't get a proper hold on him. He must have had some sort of protection. He wasn't going to give up so easily though and kept his hand clenched tight, drawing away the boy's breath even as he tried to finish drawing the symbol.
"Everett!", Owen growled, seeing what was happening. "The holy water now!", he called, before racing forward, knocking the demon's arm away and digging his suddenly glowing hand deep into the center of the possessed boy's chest. He grasped something inside that squirmed feverishly against him, singing his fingers in an effort to let go, but he held fast and pulled. "I told you I'm going to rip you out of there!", he yelled, pulling harder. "You're not going to take my nephew!"

Genesis watched for a moment before shaking Olivia lightly. "Hey, you have to finish the thing." He murmured. He wanted to be safe, but he also wanted to help. He concentrated a bit harder, feeling his energy being drained, he saw Olivia being healed, breathing better, and not in pain, and thankfully he was getting used to the feeling of being sapped dry that when he felt it, he simply smiled a bit tiredly up at the boy that was in his lap. "You okay?" He asked, leaning his head against the back of the seat. Perhaps he'd used too much energy there? He was really tired.

Outside the car, Owen was fighting hard with the struggling demon. The holy water had stunned it for a few seconds, but he was strong and quickly shook it off. If anything, the innocent boy was suffering more from it. But Owen steeled himself and kept pulling, slowly separating the demon from his host. He knew if he was stronger... like his brother, he could- no... he couldn't doubt himself. His powers required self confidence, and he couldn't let Genesis, Everett or Olivia down... but it was difficult. He was growing tired quickly, not used to using all his strength like this, and his grip was weakening.
The demon felt the djinn losing his hold and struggled harder. He focused on moving his host and gained a free arm, which he quickly used to reach out and grasp the pesky djinn by the throat. He didn't have all his strength back, but he squeezed hard, causing the djinn to gasp and nearly lose his grip completely. Oh yes, he would win this... he knew it.

Genesis smiled a bit. "I'm just tired, Liv." He murmured. "I feel like I got hit by that truck..." He admitted before sitting up again. "Should we help them?" He questioned, pointing at the two men who seem to be struggling in front of them. "They look like they need help..." He added. He wanted to help, he really did, but as tired as he was he really didn't feel like moving.

Owen coughed, his eyes watering as his throat burned, but he kept his hold on the demon, watching as it writhed in his fist. He glared at it as Everett chanted, wishing it away, wishing to send it back to the farthest reaches of the hell it had come from. His eyes burned with anger as he thought of what it had tried to do, and that was all the boost he needed. He grabbed hold of the devil spawn with his other hand and torn it's spirit in too, sending wisps of it flying off in all directions.
Olivia turned and watched in awe, staring as the scene unfolded. "...I'm just supposed to protect you, Gen...", he replied, not tearing his eyes away from the demon fight. "...and... I think they have it taken care of..."

Everett lowered himself down, helping the boy to his feet. "Owen, can you open the back seat door?" He said as he helped the teen to the car. He could tell Owen was tired, but he had to at least get them home. Thankfully for them, he'd seen his keys in the car and would be able to drive them if the djinn fell asleep. As he looked through the windshield, he could see that Genesis had already fallen asleep, not that he really blamed him. Crazy things had happened that morning after all.

Olivia frowned as he watched and got up carefully, pushing the back door open for his dad and then helping him ease the unconscious boy in. He had blood dripping from his nose that Olivia carefully wiped away once he was settled, and his skin was burned in several places. Most notable was the cross shaped burned on his collar bone, where the metal of the necklace was still stuck to his skin. Olivia frowned and left it there for the moment, opting to wait until they had a medical kit before he removed it.

He frowned and looked up at his father, who seemed to be coming to the same conclusions he was. How were they supposed to help him? He needed a hospital badly. Aside from the burns, a quick check turned up bruises and Olivia was pretty sure that his arm was broken. "...dad..", he started, but didn't finish as he heard movement behind him.
Owen got up carefully, deciding after several moments, that he needed to help. The way the two humans were looking at the boy couldn't be good. And though he was beyond exhausted and more sore than he could remember being, he stumbled his way the three feet to the couch, dropping down beside it quite painfully. "Move...." He nudged Everett weakly out of the way and squeezed closer. Olivia at least moved to the side to let him close, but Everett seemed to think this was a bad idea. Owen didn't care though, he had to do something or he was pretty sure the boy would die.
He placed his hands on the wound on the boy's chest first and focuses hard. He had done most of the damage here, so he knew what was wrong. The lights in the house surged, glowing brightly before blinking out and leaving them in darkness aside from the lights streaming in the windows and the blue glow of Owen's hands. The djinn worked quickly, taking care of the more life threatening stuff first, before expending his energy to the lesser injuries. He finished with a small sigh and pulled back, leaning back on his heels tiredly. He felt like he was about to fall over.... but the boy would be okay now.

Genesis shifted a bit, waking up in an awkward position that made his sides and neck hurt. "Heeey." He murmured, not really knowing who was around. "I'm kind of hungry." He added as he opened his eyes to see what was going on. He saw his uncle across from him and the boy they had hit with the car, on the couch. Lastly, Olivia was standing in front of them all, looking quite distressed. "What's wrong, Olivia?" He questioned.

Jackson groaned and sat up slowly, unsure of what was going on or why he felt stiff. He pushed his hair out of his face and looked around, blinking slowly. He spotted a man, seemingly unconscious and sprawled in an arm chair and watched him curiously for a few moments before continuing to look around. His eyes fell on Olivia and Genesis and he jumped slightly, seeing them watching him. He recognized them from school, having seen them talking after hockey practice the day before. "Okay, what the hell is going on?", he asked loudly, obviously distressed. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the man in the chair twitch at the sound of his voice, but he didn't move otherwise.

It was a few moments later that Everett came back into the house. "Owen, I brought you come coffee." He stated loudly, though setting the large cup on the table next to the chair before turning attention to the now awake boy. "So you're awake, huh?" He stated as he walked over. "You look confused. I bet you don't even remember what happened to you, do you?" He asked as he watched the boy closely.

"What am I supposed to remember?", he asked, still frowning as he looked up at the new man. "That I was a apparently possessed by a demon and got hit by a car? Yeah fucking right." Jackson shook his head and started to stand, though he stumbled slightly and fell back down on the couch. "You guys fucking drugged me or something, didn't you!?", he yelled, looking up at Everett, before glancing over at his supposed classmate. "What the hell is going on?!"
Owen frowned as he listened to the boy and shook his head slightly. If he had more energy, he would be happy to intervene and make this situation so much easier, but he hardly felt like moving. Everett had said he brought him some coffee and as he glanced over at the table beside him, he saw it. A gloriously large cup that smelled delicious even from where he sat. He reached over slowly, his fingers barely touching the rim. He frowned and tried to move it closer, scrabbling at it with his finger tips for a few moments before dropping his arm tiredly. The coffee wobbled slightly from his efforts, spilling a bit on the table and splashing his hand with the hot liquid. "Fuck...", the djinn muttered and dropped his head back against the chair.

Genesis watched all of this, though chuckling at his uncle's misfortunes a bit. He was still pretty tired, but he felt a lot better than he did before. What he couldn't figure out though was why this guy couldn't remember being possessed by a demon? Or being hit by the car? Or really anything else that had happened that day. Maybe he was just lying?

Jackson frowned and let out a frustrated growl as he looked back and forth between Everett and Owen. "I'm getting out of here.", he replied, trying to get up again. He managed to get to his feet, but he stumbled and had to brace himself against the arm of the couch. He was sore, and honestly, it did feel like he'd been run over. He ached in places he didn't even know he had, and felt strangely empty. Not to mention, now that he thought about it, he was really hungry.

Jackson frowned and made his way slowly to the door, determined to get out of there. He really didn't want to ride with the other man, but he was too sore walk all the way home. He just wanted to get some food and go to bed. He was pretty sure it was Saturday, so that meant he had all of Sunday to sleep before school. That was some relief at least... He wasn't sure why he was so sore, but he figured he might have pushed himself to hard at hockey practice or something. It sounded more believable than the 'demonic possession' shit these people were spouting.

Genesis stood up slowly. "Owen, can you turn the lights back on or something?" He questioned. "I'd really like to get something to eat if possible and I really don't feel like trying to cook eggs or something with my weird mind powers that I apparently have." He explained, stretching a bit. He was still pretty tired, but he could tell he was much more energized than his own uncle was.

Olivia frowned at Owen before getting up as well. "I'll help you.", he stated, turning to Genesis. "We can make food for everyone. I think it should help your uncle regain some of his energy... and my dad could probably use some food when he gets back too." The white haired boy smiled softly before heading into the kitchen. In all honesty, he was still on edge from what had aleady happened that day... and it wasn't even noon yet.
Jackson sighed and slumped in the seat of the car, looking pointedly out the window. He couldn't believe everything that these people were telling him. It was just impossible. Though, as he thought over it, he did find it a bit weird that he couldn't remember much. He remembered leaving hockey practice Friday afternoon, and then after that... he frowned. Nothing. With another sigh he glanced over at Everett out of the corner of his eye. The man looked grim and serious, and it worried Jackson a bit. The teen just wanted to get home and sleep... but he was growing more and more uneasy of what he would find there.
He wasn't sure whether or not to be thankful that the ride was so short, but soon enough they pulled up in front of his house. He got out of the car and heading for the door quickly, though he slowed to a stop as he got closer, something felt strange and he couldn't quite place it. He frowned and looked back at the car, seeing Everett get out and make his way over. The man had a large, deadly looking crossbow with him, and Jackson had a bad feeling he would need to use it.

Everett held the crossbow's grip tightly as he walked up to the door. He paused however and looked at the teen he had brought home. "Do you want to come in, or do you want to stay here?" He asked. He didn't really wait to open the door and go in, and he wasn't surprised to what he saw. He began murmuring a couple things, chanting biblical prose. The house was a mess, and really , he wasn't sure if he wanted the kid to see it. Then again, maybe he should see, make him believe everything they had told him. He peeked out of the house atnd at the teen. "This is not going to be pretty for you."

Jackson frowned and moved over the door, deciding to put on a brave face despite the fear he felt. He slipped inside and covered his mouth as he glanced around quickly. The living room of his home was in disarray... furniture flipped and torn apart, broken tables... even the wallpaper was ripped the shreds and peeling off the blood splattered walls. As for where the blood had come from... Jackson almost couldn't look. His parents lay amongst the wreckage, hardly recognizeable with gore. The teen turned his head away, not believing what he was seeing.
He looked to Everett for guidance, not even beginning to know what he was supposed to do. Did a demon really do this? He didn't think that any human could be capable of such a masacre. He swept his eyes over the room once more, unable to stop himself and froze when he spotted a face looking at him from the hallway across the room. It looked like the young boy that lived next door, though he couldn't be sure. Just... what was he doing here?
"Jackson...?", the boy asked, his voice sounding small and scared and immediately making the hair on the teen's neck stand on end. Everett seemed to have noticed as well and the next thing Jackson knew he was being pushed behind the larger man. "Jackson...", the boy said again, and made his way out into the living room, taking short, jerky steps. Jackson could only stare in horror.
