Everett guarded the teen that was now behind him, holding the crossbow firmly, pointing it at the kid. "Leave the kid now, and I might consider sparing your disgusting life" As the child took a few more, jerky steps toward them, the man could only do what he thought was right. He didn't want to hurt the child, but being posessed was something that was not easily overcome by a vessel. "Exorcizamus te, omnis immundus spiritus, omnis satanica potestas, omnis incursio infernalis adversarii, omnis legio, omnis congregatio et secta diabolica... Ergo, draco maledicte et omnis legio diabolica, adjuramus te ... cessa decipere humanas creaturas, eisque æternæ perditionìs venenum propinare..." The boy's eyes went wide at the words he spoke and lunged forward. Oh how much easier would it be if he had made a circle. " Vade, satana, inventor et magister omnis fallaciæ, hostis humanæ salutis... Humiliare sub potenti manu Dei; contremisce et effuge, invocato a nobis sancto et terribili nomine... quem inferi tremunt..." Everett skillfully moved away from the demon child, keeping the teen safely behind him. "Ab insidiis diaboli, libera nos, Domine. Ut Ecclesiam tuam secura tibi facias libertate servire, te rogamus, audi nos.'" (Translation) The child hissed as the demon was extracted from his body, quite violently too, and Everett turned to protect the oh so very vulnerable Jackson that was behind him, sticking a paper seal to his arm so he wouldn't be poossessed again.

Jackson continued to stare, his vision of the scene unhindered even as Everett tried to block him from it. "What the hell is that?!", he yelled frightfully and scrambled back away from Everett as the dark mass that had erupted from the kid loomed over them. It spread and thinned, like smoke, surrounding them and blacking out the rest of the room. Jackson moved quickly back to Everett's side as tendrils of god knows what licked at him from the mist. It was almost as if they were trying to reach into him.... and they seemed to be doing the same to Everett.

Genesis frowned. "So he's an orphan now, huh?" He asked. "That really sucks. Wonder what's going to happen to him." The teen looked at the food that he and his friend had made and started plating it. "They've been gone for a while... do you think they ran into trouble or something?" He questioned as he picked up the plate and started off to the living room where his uncle was resting.

He whined softly as the smoke closed in even more, tendrils of it crawling across his skin like snakes. He looked for Everett frantically but found he could see nothing anymore. Everything was blackness, and there were so sounds or smells... he couldn't even feel anything anymore... except for a strange sense of familiarity that scared him more than he should have. "Everett...?", he called out, still searching for the other man. A voice replied, though it wasn't what he expected... it was dark and cold... and it simply said. "...Got you."
"I hope not...", Olivia stated, starting to get a little worried. Though his father had always told him that worry never helped any situation. He couldn't help it... Genesis was right, they had been gone a while, and lower level demons were usually always in the shadows of more powerful ones... or so he had read.

Everett shuddered a bit. This was not good, not good at all. "Jackson!" The man grabbed the teen tightly, holding him close as he started to chant the exorcism over and over. It was too dark to see, and he couldn't risk this boy getting possessed once again. God, did he hate dealing with demons! It would've been great if Owen showed up to do something at this rate he'd lose the kid he was trying to help!

Jackson jerked slightly as Everett chanted and quickly began to struggle. He shoved at the other man, easily slipping away with the demon's strength coursing through him. "You're too late, Hunter.", he laughed, though his voice was off. It sounded like Jackson, though there was something inherently dark about it. "As damaged as this body's soul already was... it was easily to slip in and make myself right at home." He snickered and stepped back as the darkness in the room converged on him and seemed to be absorbed into his skin. "He's such a good host...", the demon grinned. "Plenty of room already cleared out for me." He laughed again. "Looks like if you want me out, you'll just have to kill him too... because I'm not going anywhere. I can feel a djinn's leftover energy in this body... and I plan on tracking it to the source."

"About half an hour, come on. Everett and Jackson aren't back yet, we have to go help them." Genesis stated with a frown. "They've been gone too long." In truth he felt worried about the teen that Everett had taken home. Something was not right. Something felt strange and dark, and not to mention dangerous. Should they really go?

Olivia quickly scrambled for his phone, pulling it out and pressing a button to call his dad. He rang a few times before cutting off unexpectedly. Cursing, Olivia tried again, getting the same result. "No answer.", he murmured, frowning worriedly as he pushed a few more buttons on his phone. His dad had installed tracking software the year before on both of their phones, though Olivia had never used it. It wasn't hard to get it up though, and thankfully his dad's phone was on. "Got him!", he said quickly as he looked at a small map on his screen with a little red dot that showed where his father's phone was.
The demon raised an eyebrow and grinned at Everett before taking a step forward, the tip of the crossbow pressing into the skin of his chest slightly. "And you think you're going to stop me, Hunter?", he asked smugly. "..with silver arrows?" He laughed and stepped back again, deciding not to bother with the human. The man wasn't strong enough to hurt him, and was so pitifully unprepared, the demon almost felt sorry for him. "Djinn's are delicious, you know.", he stated, smirking at the hunter. "Electrifying... and so full of energy that devouring one's soul can sustain you for years... Oh yes, it'll be a nice treat, and once I have all that energy, I can permanently meld myself to this body... it's such a perfect fit as it is."

Genesis couldn't wait any longer. "We need to go." He stated as he hurried to the door. "I may not know very much about this side of the world, but I know that we need to help them." With that, he left the house and went to the car. There was really no time to waste, and he was thankful that Everett was paranoid enough to put a tracking software Olivia's phone.

The demon turned and eyed Everett for a moment before grinning playfully at it. "oooh... possessive, aren't you?" He chuckled and walked back over to the hunter. "If it honestly bothers you that much, I could just make sure you aren't around to see what I do to your djinn.... though, I would like to see you suffer." He smirked and opened his mouth to speak but cut off suddenly, jerking backwards and moving one hand up to clutch at his hair. "What....?", he started, obviously confused, before his voice cut off again. He looked up quickly, his demeanor crumpling into that of the frightened teenager he really was. "Help!", Jackson cried. "I.. I can't keep him away for long... but please.. help! You're supposed to know about this stuff, right?", he spoke frantically. "Get it out of me!"

Genesis buckled himself and held onto the door of the car as if he was holding on for his life. Then again that's what he felt like at that moment. The way Owen sped down the street, he was surprised that he didn't actually hit anything, or get the cops called him or something. It was crazy really.

"I.. I don't know how.", Jackson replied quickly, jerking slightly and pulling at his hair. He went rigid suddenly for a moment before slumping to the floor in unconsciousness.
Owen pushed the door open and stepped cautiously into the room, just in time to see Jackson hit the floor. He frowned worriedly and looked around the room quickly, taking in the scene before hurrying over. He knelt down beside the teen, checking that he was breathing before looking up at Everett. "What happened?", he asked quickly before looking over Jackson again. The teen seemed fine... his vitals were fine, and honestly... now that Owen was in the house, he couldn't feel the dark presence anymore.

Genesis frowned. "I didn't come here to stay in the damn car!" He snapped as he slammed the car door behind him. However he did stop, and he stayed by the car. The amount of bad feelings coming from the house were too much for him, and he really didn't like the feel of it at all.

Everett was saved from answering right away though as Jackson let out a soft cough and open his eyes slowly, obviously disoriented. "Huh...?", he asked, his voice his own once again. He blinked wearily as sat up carefully, before shaking his head as if to clear it. "What happened...?", he asked, frowning as he looked over at Everett before turning his attention to Owen. As he looked at the blonde man, he felt a hunger grow in his gut that he couldn't explain, it weirder him out a bit, but he shook his off, more concerned as to when Owen had gotten there. "...Really.. what's going on.", he frowned before looking around. As his eyes swept over the gore in the room, everything came flooding back quickly.
Olivia went over to his dad's car as soon as Owen disappeared in the house and dug through the trunk quickly. With in a few moments he was well outfitted and felt much better about taking on whatever happened to be in the house. He had holy water, iron pellets, rock salt shot, and even a fancy dagger with latin prayers carved into the blade. He made his way over to Genesis and paused beside the other boy, looking up at the house with a frown. "...you feel it too?", he asked, though he already knew the answer.

Everett watched Jackson for a moment. "Jack, do you still feel it?" He asked, placing a hand on the teen's forehead. The demon had to still be there. There was no way. Had Jackson pulled it back somehow in his unconscious state? "There was a demon here when we entered, the young boy over there had a lesser one, but this one is far more than some common, lesser demon. Even my seal didn't protect him." He explained as he lowered his head. "I'm sorry Owen, I can't ask you to extract this demon, it might latch onto you and the last thing we need is a djinn powered demon."

"...I feel sick.", Jackson muttered in reply to Everett's question as he placed a hand on his upset stomach. He frowned, nearly overcome by queasiness from what the hunter was saying. "There... there's really a demon in me?", he asked frightfully, his eyes darting between Everett and Owen. He covered his mouth, feeling another wave of nausea rising up. He turned his head quickly away from the two adults, coughing heavily and retching up a puddle of oily black liquid. He shuddered and wiped at his mouth, smearing his hands with the liquid as well. The sight of the stuff had him feeling sick all over again, though puking it up had cured his nausea completely.
Olivia frowned and watched the house for a few moments, unsure of what to do. Owen had already been in there for a little while and he hadn't called to them yet. Did they go in after him? The white hair teen frowned and glanced over at Genesis before shaking his head slightly. No... it was his best interests to stay outside and protect the other boy. Genesis was unequipped and Olivia couldn't stand the thought of anything happening to him. "We'll wait here.", he said with finality. "They'll come out... I know it... but if something comes out before them, there has to be someone here to stop it."

Jackson frowned and looked between Owen and Everett a few more times. "I... kind of feel better.", he admitted, though he was confused as well. He glanced over at the oily puddle on the floor, which seemed to be sinking into the carpet and disappearing. He shook his head before pushing himself up slowly until he was finally standing. "This is so fucked up...", he stated, running one of his hands through his hair anxiously. "God this can't be real." He shook his head again before looking around the room, finally noticing that everything was cleaned up, and his parents... they... He frowned again before looking over at Everett and Owen as they both stood as well. "...my mom and dad...", Jackson said quietly, his voice trailing off. "They're really dead... aren't they...?"
Owen sighed and dropped his head a bit before turning to glance at Everett. Jackson sounded almost exactly like Genesis had so many years ago when his parents had been killed... and hearing it all again, Owen almost couldn't take it.

Olivia followed Jackson with his eyes before frowning over at Genesis. They both knew what was wrong with the boy and knew that nothing they said would be able to help. Only time would ease the pain.
Owen sighed and watched Jackson leave the house before turning to look back at Everett. "...I think the three of you should stay at my house.", he said out of the blue. "...I.. I don't know what else might come after us, and it would be easier to keep an eye on Jackson that way." The djinn didn't say that he was also worried about Everett's own safety should the demon reappear, but the look he gave the hunter told enough.

Jackson sat quietly in the car, staring out the window and not even acknowledging Everett. He felt drained... and tired.. but at least he didn't have that hungry ache anymore. He sighed softly and chanced a look over at the man driving. "....so what happens now..?", he asked quietly, suddenly finding himself in need of answers.

Everett glanced over at Jackson. "Think of this as me adopting you because you were orphaned by a mass murderer." He stated bluntly. "You will no longer have to attend school, but you will continue to have lessons, albeit more unconventional ones." He needed to make sure this teen knew what kind of world he was just brought into, like Genesis, Jackson had much to learn.
