Appearance: Ikarugi is a tall slender man wearing an informal suit and usually hides from the sun as he likes to dwell in the night. He always has red eyes as a mark from his magic but with his pale skin it looks mostly natural. During his time as a teen he had always been a guy who lived in the background never really socializing with other people and kept to himself out of fear of being found out as a mage.
Soul Magic
1. Able to manipulate the Earthbound souls of earth, fire, water, and wind
2. Has the ability to take the souls of the dead to augment into spiritual abilities like cannon-esque attacks or strikes.
3. Ability to summon the souls from the Nether Plane to assist him-this takes more time than grabbing a soul from the Earth or dead. (slightly more powerful than other soul forms)
4. Can use souls for other tasks such as scouting and astroprojection of himself
5. High magic aptitude as magic came from conversing with spirits themselves.

Description
Personality
Ikarugi is a slightly more stoic and calm person when it comes to difficult situations. He usually will not talk unless he has pertinent information of the conversation or if he finds someone as a close friend that he is fond of. Ikarugi is usually found to be very aloof as he doesn't take too much in the affairs of the living though he will put his life on the line if it means protecting those of the guild.
Equipment
Ikarugi carries a sword on his back which he uses as a main line of offensive using his magic in his other hand for a dual combination of strength and willpower. He also carries a Radio to be in contact with the guild if he is chosen to partake in a mission without any comrades.
History
Ikarugi had always had an interesting connection with the "Other side" as he could freely converse with spirits at a young age, due to this spirits of the past warned him about this and told him to keep it a secret as it could lead to some problems later on. Growing up he had always had a wandering Spirit accompany him which he had a link to so that they could speak through his mind as not to seem strange to others as he would be talking to thin air, this spirit had been there to look after him and tell him many stories of the past and how in death that you could move on to the afterlife whenever one wanted to and even return if one so chooses and that life is an illusion as you never truly die. Upon reaching his teen years the spirits decided to train him in using Pure Soul magic as it would deepen his connection with the other side. Over the years of his teens he had chosen a seldom life from others and spent days hiding in secret to train his magic, at the age of 20 having completed his training and traveling the world he came across a mark from Fairy Tale and had headed to one of the meeting points of the guild. From then on become one of the founders using odd jobs to both increase the revenue of the guild and his own at the same time keeping Knights off their backs.
So begins...
Ikarugi Kusanoki's Story
Alexander appreciated Kaeden's enthusiasm, but he think he still wasn't giving the creature enough credit. Especially considering that he wanted to stay out as much as possible.
"I don't know if we could do much without risking injury to a few of us. I mean, Wayland should have trashed that thing, and it got right back up. Plus I'm pretty sure there isn't another thresher that is close enough for us to fight against. It would be a straight up engagement." He paused. He wanted to kill it. The bounty would be beautiful, and he knew of a caravan that passed by here around this time of year. One they were friendly with and would be willing to turn in and split the bounty with them. He thought carefully about the situation. He was interrupted when he heard Connor speak to him.
"Hey Alexander checking in, and umm.... did you know there's this umm thing out here making all kinds of chaos"
He responded quickly, glad Connor had gotten back when he did.
Yeah we were aware, were working on a plan of attack. Get back home and we can get something figured out. Stay clear of it. No closer then a few miles, these things travel fast.
Alexander then addressed the remaining non present guild members through the archive.
Everyone, get up here, we've got an issue we need to discuss.

Henzox listened to everyone speak and relay their ideas on how to destroy the armor. As Henzox thought about it more to himself, he realized that the Thresher was already extremely fast and large enough to easily bite one person in half. Henzox spoke to everyone for the first time in the meeting.
"All this talk about destroying the armor, how close are you willing to get to a Thresher? How ill you deal with it when it has no armor and is even faster?" Henzox reached down to his side and pulled flask up to his lips before continuing, "Don't even think about going by yourselves, I'm not into picking up corpses."

"Guys we really aren't going to solve this anytime soon. Or do I need to remind everyone that from the Mesa top of 120 ft above the ground and at twenty-time vision my extreme range is about two hundred seventy miles? Remember my magic is all about manipulating the parameter limits and properties of objects, taking a shot like that while stupidly difficult is still possible." Wayland had forgotten that very thing himself so he really had no room lecture his fellow guild members. He made a point of broadcasting that Archive message to the whole guild, rather than only choosing a few people.
"Sure a Thresher can wander that far within the day but it's not like we have a way to do so easily. We're looking at a 6 hour drive to that thing using the best cars around, and last I checked, we aren't packing that kind of gear. He put on a self depreciating smile, " Nor have I figured out a way to make something faster with my magic, and even then we're only looking at a two minute lifespan of the machine". He felt really stupid for getting the guild riled up like that. "We could get to the raptors within the hour, assuming we felt like wasting the time walking,"he vocally suggested. After all, since he wasted everyone's time on something that far away, even though it was a potentially huge threat, they may as well take out the closer, if jokingly weaker threat.
"I'll keep close watch on the thing and the moment it gets within a hundred miles of the base we drop everything and paste it, deal?" While he'd rather try to Unison Raid it from this range, it simply wasn't happening at this point, firing an object that and yet to become 'real' that far was one thing. A Unison Raid, which forced his magic to follow normal limits by being 'real' was something entirely different. At that moment, Wayland decided he'd have to start studying magic more, it'd help in his conceptual shaping and manipulation along with improving his team work.
"Now guys, my magic is pretty simple. When I 'make' something there is a time when it's a line of light. During that time it still isn't real, it can't interact with anything yet so normal limits don't exist. The more extreme the item the longer it exists in light form, kinda like a download from Archive, doesn't exist until it's completed. But I can still make it do things, which is how I'm able to pretend to fire an arrow. Since it didn't have to worry about distance and such during the 'light arrow' phase, the only rules of reality it had to deal with were when it finally became a lance before impact. It's for that reason, you don't see me rushing into battle...I'm useless until the creation actually exists."

"uuuugh..." Ikarugi sighed as he awoke from a nap, "man I need to get my sleeping patterns back to what the others call 'normal' or something." he shook his head raggedly and called on the archive to Wayland, Conner, and Alexander: "Hey I heard earlier while I was half awake that a Thresher was raging about I could send my companion to scout up to look for weak points if you need, I mean I have no qualms with it". After getting up and dressed Ikarugi headed up and spoke quietly to only Alexander and Conner "my friends if need be I also had 'heard' of a link attack with Wayland if you give me enough time I can launch a spirit cannon at the Thresher I mean it's pure destructive force would not only drain me but most likely knock me out but it's a small price to pay if we can take it down no?". Stretching his arms and loosening his shoulders he looked straight at Wayland "so if you combine my power, Conner's, Alex's, John's, and your own do you think we'd have a shot of taking it down? I need a yes or a no because after I charge up and discharge it I'll be effectively deadweight." sitting down slowly he looked at Wayland and said one quick sentence, "If it's a go give me time to charge it it'll take approximately five minutes for a full blast but don't worry after it's charged I can keep it as such until we need to fire it off so now it's all up to you".
The creature was far off. But the earth was it's home and he was worried about the rate it could travel and its strength. Alexander continued to observe the monster from a far. He wasn't entirely sure any single attack from any of them could bust its armor open. Maybe just a spot would be enough. Then everyone just needs to aim for it. It would be a risky proposition. It made him rethink trying to kill it.
"This thing looks a little out of our league....." He mumbled to himself. While he hated risking anyone, It was up to everybody.
He decided, while he didn't want to fight, a general plan of attack was in order. He would need Briar or Connor to bust it open. He wasn't entirely sure if anyone else could. Yuuki was also a Dragon Slayer, but he Sky Dragon Slayer Magic would be better for the back lines. After that, it would be up to everyone else to aim for the spot that got busted open, because they sure weren't going to hurt it anywhere else.

Pulling his head to one side, a loud crack was produced. Henzox stood up from his chair and cracked his knuckles as he spoke.
"If it's already targeted someone than we should probably hurry up and get going, it's a long trip."
Reaching down to the ground beside his chair he picked up his sword, then drawing it and examining it's sharpness. Satisfied it was still perfectly able to not cut a Thresher he sheathed the blade and threw it back on the ground, mumbling to himself "You can't control a puppet and swing a sword anyway."
"If we need everyone to travel ground quickly I can make a sand puppet shaped like a tiger, with space on it's back for us. I'll be weak when we visit our friend though."

After walking around aimlessly and following the bewildered Briar for a little amusement Ikarugi had heard bits and pieces of the conversation and saw the image of the Thresher and the "object" and asked on the archive to only Alexander, "Hey what are we to do? I can try to boost our way there using a wind spirit or if we have another form of transportation do you want me to concentrate on attacking that thing? If it's the latter I can use my soul cannon for the attack it'd drain me thoroughly but it's probably our best shot to take it down although I don't think me alone can do it I'm guessing it'd do significant damage".
Ikarugi then headed up to the top of the mesa and nodded to the others and silently stood at an edge looking at the thresher, "Alexander shall I send my companion to get a closer look? I can link the vision to my own and relay it but I can't directly input it into the archive. Also it would seem that things might get a little interesting for us if that person were a friendly I mean more the merrier right?" Looking at Briar and laughing to himself he held out a map to him and quickly told him it had the layout of each floor, "Anyway it's do or die time now from the looks of it that poor soul doesn't have much time left so it's your call if you think we can handle it I'll put my faith in you Alexander. But be for warned if worst comes to worse we might have to seek temporary refuge if we can't kill it, we don't want to lead it back to the base or else it'll be the end of us".

Briar took the map Ikarugi offered and looked it over while listening to his input on the thresher situation. And he had to agree with Ikarugi for the most part, they would need to act soon if there was any hope in assisting whoever was out there with the thresher. He noticed at moment he already had his mind made up that they probably were going to engage the thresher. He had a good idea how he would do it, but it definitely wouldn't be for a kill. More of a tactical retreat... he chuckled to himself. Briar, still being fairly new, didn't have a complete grasp on everyone's magic yet; but Alexander and Wayland seemed to have plenty of knowledge where that was concerned and may already have a strategy in mind.
He stifled a yawn with his fist and stashed away the map and what was left of the apricots. Coming to his feet, he let out a groan and stretched his arms wide. The effects of his disruption of sleep earlier were slow wearing off and the heat was only making it worse. A fight may do him some good. But something about what Ikarugi said still had him thinking. And in typical Briar fashion, those thoughts were voiced aloud.
"And hey, if worst comes to worse, and then even....uh...even worse? Then we'll probably get shredded by that thing anyway..." He shrugged at onlookers. "What? Subtlety isn't my strong suit...."
He stifled a yawn with his fist and stashed away the map and what was left of the apricots. Coming to his feet, he let out a groan and stretched his arms wide. The effects of his disruption of sleep earlier were slow wearing off and the heat was only making it worse. A fight may do him some good. But something about what Ikarugi said still had him thinking. And in typical Briar fashion, those thoughts were voiced aloud.
"And hey, if worst comes to worse, and then even....uh...even worse? Then we'll probably get shredded by that thing anyway..." He shrugged at onlookers. "What? Subtlety isn't my strong suit...."

He could transport them there with his earth magic, but considering the considerable strain, he decided to wait until they got to the Thresher, his magic would be best used to disrupt the Thresher.

It seemed like the general consensus was to fight the thing. He smiled, same old guild, looking for any excuse to jump into trouble.

The setting changes from Earth Land to Desierto
Conner heard Alexander's announcement and immediately darted off in the direction of the thresher

Kaeden got up from the library where he was reading, he was following the archive up to date and decided he should show his face. Kaeden could use Archive, however he was complete Thresher droppings at it, updating information nearly drained him, hence why he didn't use it at all. He questions how Alexander can use it so well without completely blocking out. However he did update the Archive, with a message a short and brief one, but it was still a message.
Archive:
Alexander: ALRIGHT FAIRY TALE! HERE'S THE PLAN! Henzox and Ikarugi are going to get us to this beast! Someone knock out the guy when we get there, we don't want anyone to give away our location! I'll disrupt its movements and keep it from burrowing! Yuuki! I need you on the back lines giving everyone a boost and first aid! I'm gonna need Connor or Briar to bust the armor, because I'm not entirely sure anyone else can do it! Connor, meet us there, but do not engage without us! After the armor is open, everyone else, AIM FOR THAT SPOT! Go for the kill if we can! This thing will net us a killer bounty! ARE WE READY!?
Kaeden: . . . I take it it's time to show my face? Let's kick this Thresher's ass. I'm going to keep this brief as from what I can tell we need to get prepared and get going fast...I will take out the idiot that lured the Thresher...I say we take him out first, then put this Thresher down. Now then, about it's armor and breaking it...you say Connor and Briar can break it? I wish I could, hell i'd be out there now, however that's not the case as my physical strength with my weapon's aren't enough force to break it, however Connor by all means if you can't crack it by yourself I will allow you to borrow my favorite lance, Oblivion. Oh, and I wan't it's armor, even a little piece so I can forge a weapon, so Briar, Connor do me a favor and bring me back a souvenir.
As he finished up he sighed, that drained him quite a bit, however not enough to hinder him. He stood up using a bookcase as leverage and walked outside, he saw the Thresher and his jaw dropped. "Yep, this is trouble, no matter just means we have to take it out faster." He ripped off his Mage Robes and let them gently fly in the wind, however his new clothing looked sleek and shiny, this however was actually a type of armor that boosted his M-Sense and Requip abilities, it protects against some weak sword slashes, however it primarily focused on magic defense.

He ripped off his Mage Robes and let them gently fly in the wind, however his new clothing looked sleek and shiny, this however was actually a type of armor that boosted his M-Sense and Requip abilities, it protects against some weak sword slashes, however it primarily focused on magic defense.

Ikarugi looked at the raging thresher and then at the others who were raring to attack the beast head on and yawned raggedly, "It would seem we are ready to go Henzox it seems you're with me on getting us there you create your sand golem and I'll whip up a little wind to push us even faster to the destination but be careful we don't want to alert it so if you can try to make the golem shield us from view as well so we can incapacitate the fellow being chased as to not give away our position but as to also get a surprise attack on the thresher via Conner and Briar can sneak in their attack. Henzox if you aren't here to fight I would suggest fleeing the area admist the confusion as so it won't follow you back to base the rest of us will handle it from there." After stating this he adresses everyone on the archive and anounces out "We're going to be headed out soon all report to the Mesa we will move on Alexander's order but for now regroup at the top to await further orders changes to the plan are to be adressed as we move but will not be enacted until otherwise needed. I repeat everyone to the top of the Mesa we're about to move out people so pack what you need and if more time is needed send a message through the archive we will not be moving until we are thoroughly ready. We will meet Connor there shortly and Connor specifically to you if you find any vantage point on your way to the beast please give us coordinates to it as we might need a vantage point for Yuuki to be able to assist and stay out of the line of attack."

At the Sphinx announcement, Wayland had to step him with his own offer. " Why don't I make the craft? After all if you two don't have to focus on making or maintaining shape and form for something, it should be easier for you guys to focus on straight speed, right?" He was just asking to check, after all the less magic each individual had to expend, the better. It just happened temporarily creating a static object took very little magic, it could almost be compared to exquip in that sense...except for the time limit. But that limit is easily enough over come, it's just a matter of keeping in synch with the group so the three magics worked in harmony.

Then before it fell apart, build a new vessel where the current would be by the time it fell apart and the acceleration of the air magic could simply carry over to the new object. He had no idea how either of the guys' magic worked, so the odds of him being wrong were astronomically high.
