Conner stood idly by while Alexander explained everything to the four new people and he even smirked when Alexander introduced him to everyone. Once Alexander was finished with his explanation he blurted out to Vince "I told you would would find out soon when you asked what kind of magic I use."

Conner addressed Alexander exclusively over the archive
"So... ahh are gunna show them downstairs or are we gunna wait and see if they commit to joining before we bring them in?"

Then Conner addressed the rest of the guild over the archive
"Alright everyone we are trying to show some trust and hospitality to our fellow mages; I can sense the the hostility in the room and I can see the glares on some of your faces. I'm not saying to let your guard down, but no need to have your weapons nearly drawn and your magic energy on edge so put em away is all I'm saying!"

Sitting up from the bench he nodded and started with his questions, "Well you see the structure of who's strongest or weakest is only determined at who beats who really, I have a mini 'scoreboard' of sorts for that kind of thing if you want a copy of it. Also about my magic you see... Everything has a spirit whether it's 'alive' or not.

Take the water on the ground you created, it has a spirit, allow me to demonstrate."
Waving his hand the water seeped up from the ground and started snaking around his body in an arc and flew at Vince with frightening speed then stopped short of his neck and slowly snaked back to Ika and finally splashed back onto the ground. "As you saw I can control water, not directly but the spirit that in its truest form, I have others as well."

Holding out his arms they started ablaze and crackled with the heat of the fire and wincing his eyes flickered from red to green and the fires died out as his eyes returned to red once more. "Spirits are harder to control if the initial presence isn't there, such as conjuring fire I have to summon the spirit from the Earth itself. My magic may be strong but it's not without its drawbacks one being that to use it offensively I have to pump large amounts of magic almost to deadly amounts to any other mage, the only reason I can do it is because of a companion of mine guides them to me as to lessen the amount of strain on me."

Breathing cooly he lifted off the ground and sat in the air. "Also as you can see the winds are at my call too, this and the Earth are both easy to handle as they're always in abundance wherever you go besides a body of water." After stating this he lowered himself back down and sat down on the bench. "For a target I'd say to find a rock near the town I'll accompany you to see this magic in action so don't worry."

Sighing softly and putting his hands on his hips he replied bluntly, "I don't like that Tatsuya kid he appeared as if on cue, I mean we just broke open the Thresher's armor and he just appears? that seems highly unlikely." chuckling slightly he continued. "that River girl I don't mind her honestly, anyone who can shut up that cocky kid has my respect. And finally that Aria girl? from what I've seen she's pretty much useless in a fight so I don't even think of her as a threat much less a companion for long travels something about her just seems.... off." Stretching slightly he motioned toward the tavern, "We better hurry or who knows what Kaeden might start... ugh that boy he makes my life so much more difficult than it needs to be." After stating this he ran back towards the tavern and contacted Sarkonia for updates.

Ikarugi stopped and looked confused at the purple haired girl sitting on the ground with the cloth. "Hmm?.... Meh she's none of my concern..." Ikarugi mumbled as he walked past her and headed into the tavern. "Okay Wayland I'm headed to sleep to see if I can get most of my magic back, but once I'm done we still need to talk about you and your unison raid ability, I mean to be able to use it whenever it quite amazing." That said he went back to his chair picked up his coat and headed up to a room and passed out on a bed once more.

Startled by the laughter he looked out the window to see the back of the red headed Break mage, he opened the window and stared for a second. "Uh... Briar? What are you doing up there?.... Never mind don't answer that it is you so I can't really be surprised..." Climbing out sat next to him and offered him a piece of jerky from his coat pocket. "So what's up? Find anyone interesting out of the newbies?" Rubbing his temples he looked down at all of them. "Hey Newbies if you want some magic training come see me after everyone's joined I'll help you practice your magic, it's my way of saying welcome."

After this he jumped off the roof and slowly landed on the ground with an almost silent impact. "Also Wayland knowing you, you'd give me an extra complicated answer as to how you can unison raid with everyone so just give me a summary later, for now I want to know how these two girls are at magic since I've seen Vince's already.... Call it power gauging as I'm fairly interested in them," lowering his voice he looked around and continued. "Also if I know their magic they could help me see how that Tatsuya kid is I mean he's obviously suspicious but he's just over there doing basic kendo training. Plus I get to see a performance as the flare of magic always seems to put me in a good mood."

Walking a bit away he turned toward them and motioned anyone who wanted to follow to witness their magic. "You two don't need to come but I always like having people who know what they're doing around I don't want to be caught in any crossfire or accidental attack. So I bid you to come and I'll show you an extent of my magic, which Vince already saw but it was only a brief amount. Now that I feel rested and ready I can be a little more.... Flashy." Laughing to himself he called Sarkonia to his side and started walking towards a mass of boulders.

Walking into the guild with the weary Wayland he trudged up the stairs and set Wayland in an empty room on its bed. shaking his head he went back down the stairs and met up with the now awake Alexander. "Have a nice nap sleeping beauty?" smirking he laughed it off and added. "Don't worry Alexander I have the two girls and Vince getting ready to show me their magic so I'll get to know what they can do, Also Tatsuya is just doing some practice swings with his sword a little ways out." Heading out he ran back to see how River, Vince, and Aria were doing.

Walking up to them he noticed that Alexander showed a different way to use Aria's magic. "Ya know Alexander? I think we're on the same page. I was thinking she could use her magic as a pseudo bullet of sorts actually." Sitting down next to a boulder he yawned and pulled his hood over his face and watched the mages with mild boredom. "Hey Vince how's everything going? Kinda bored here." Ikarugi started twiddling his fingers letting small spirits fly through them to pass the time. "It's kinda sad none of you can see the spirits besides Alexander or maybe Wayland some of them are actually really playful. But sadly you need extremely high magic power or the ability to use soul magic." After this he summoned a fire spirit and junctioned it to his sword and watched as the sword was set ablaze. "I did promise something more flashy...."

With this said got up and quickly slashed the boulder behind him in a circular arc letting the fire dance across the blade creating a deeper cut each time before jumping into the air and launching a fire ball at the rock destroying it completely. "I'd say that'd suffice wouldn't you say Vince? the best thing about my magic is that if I junction it to my weapon they stay around longer and they cost less magic to use. Fire creates bigger cuts from melting, Water extends the blade's length, Earth strengthens the swords natural hardness and turns it into pretty much a blunt weapon, and finally Wind creates multiple swords as I cut through something leaving many more cuts than I actually did. I't s quite fun to use things like that, especially when I fight with a sword in one hand and magic in the other."

After hearing the explosion he turned and saw Briar standing near a hole. "Hey how's it going? being lazy too boring for you now?" Walking over he patted Briar on the back and stared dully at the hole. "I think you overdid it I mean we were supposed to break the rocks not the landscape. If it was for that I'd have used a different spell all together." Shaking his head he walked over Vince and threw a rock at his head. "Hey sparky, get down here since Alexander is here I think you should formally become part of the guild by linking yourself up to the Archive. So stop lounging around and go over to him." Next he walked over to River sitting on the ground. "Hey girly it's no good to just sit over here alone, you're not gonna have valuable teammates if you do that. Trust is built by an understanding on both sides, so go try to make some friends alright? We're all Nakama here so at least try to open up a bit you might find someone you really get along with." Saying this smiled slightly and turned to meet up with Alexander and stood by him waiting for Vince.

Conner went up to the top of the old empty water tower in the town awhile ago when everyone dispersed from the tavern to sit around and relax for a bit. he was up there for awhile just sitting back and pondering on some thought most of his thoughts had to do with the newcomers and how excited he was to see how they fit in and how bright the future of the guild was going to look. A couple of thoughts crossed his head about the condition Alexander was in, but he shrugged them off and chocked Alexanders condition from earlier to the fact that he was using his earth magic and that has been awhile since he last used his earth magic.

Conner noticed everyone pulverizing the boulders off in the distance after he finished some of his thoughts. A smile appeared on Conner's face as he saw how much potential everyone had. Then the he saw Alexander memorize Aria's magic and showed her how she can use it offensively and the only thought Conner had on that was he was glad to see Alexander in better condition.

Next up was a pretty well put together golem made by Henzox and Henzox wanted everyone to attack it and to test their ability even further on another level. Conner smiled again and said quietly to himself "Looks like the future of this guild is looking brighter and brighter more and more and it's being fueled by by the passion and potential of everyone in the guild along with that of those who are about to join the guild!" Conner said while patiently waiting to see what everyone does with the golem.

Shaking his head he replied, "No I can't I can only use the base 4 elements of nature, Electricity if anything would fall under Storm Magic." Pulling Vince aside he lowered his voice. "But I do have a trick up my sleeve, I can summon 'demons' for my soul attacks. They're a lot like my normal attacks but much more powerful, along with the attack it sets off a mind shattering scream from the attack. I thought it up with Alexander about a year ago to tell you the truth. Another thing is I have the ability to create astral projections of myself using my companion." Clearing his throat he resumed a normal talking voice. "Another part of my magic is mass scouting. I release multiple spirits at once to search for information via sight or hearing. Furthermore I have the ability to junction magic not only to my sword but to my body as well, such as using Earth spirits to coat my fists in an aura that has rocks floating around my hands which either strengthen my punches or creates a spike that can deeply wound someone." Sitting back against the debris he destroyed he looked to Tatsuya. "Hey you have yet to explain why you were there at the fight. All you've said is you heard a fight, many people would turn tail if they saw a Thresher." With that said he closed his eyes and pulled his hood over his head.

Following her gaze Ikarugi sighed and looked at her. "You know you could learn to take that thing down fairly easy. You have wind Magic, meaning that it's more of a blade-like magic. Think about it this way, that Golem is created by piecing things together right? weeell.... why not use your magic to get between the joints and bring it down that way? Magic isn't just about seeing who has the strongest magic, it's about how you use it. I mean look near where the joints on it would connect on a real person, they're more segmented there so take aim, align the wind, and fire. Let the natural power of wind magic take it down." Ikarugi got up and patted her head and laughed "I also use wind magic so I know a thing or two about it, albeit they are different in their own aspects but nonetheless they have the same outcome." Shrugging he pulled his coat more over himself and buttoned it up slightly. "Alright if any of you newbies have questions on magic ask Wayland, to become a member talk to Alexander, and whether I like it or not, talk to me and I'll help you master your magic." That said he looked around for a place to sit in the shade and sat behind a massive rock and yawned. "Looks like I am becoming more like Conner... I'm not sure that's a good thing or a bad thing though..." Sighing he closed his eyes momentarily and watched the new mages with little interest now.

Conner used the shadow travel ability to teleport to the ground from the top of the water tower and then made one more port to the group. He leaned up against a boulder and said "So.. now its official all four of you are now official members congrats to you all I look forward to working with each of you sometime." as he appeared suddenly probably startling some people. Conner heard Vince ask him a question shortly after he had appeared
"Hey guys, im a member now so im ready to work whenever, Connor does this guild go on missions like the guilds from the past? My father told me about them, they would go on missions and get paid, they were encouraged rather than shunned by society. What does this guild do exactly?"

Conner smiled and replied "Great question Vince and yes once we get back and show you all the guild there are a few missions there and we continue to find jobs to do; granted we do things a little differently from the guilds back in the old days because we still have to do our best to hide our magic from society and the government, but on my opinion that makes ours missions more of a challenge." Conner then smirked.

Conner then appeared next to Henzox using his shadow travel, he then leaned on Henzox with his right arm on Henzox left shoulder and he shouted "So I'm with everyone else here; I want to see your magics at work so lets what you can do to this golem that Henzox here had the courtesy to make for you all as a test dummy to test your abilities. So.. ahh.... Let's see what you've got newbies!!"

"Wait where the hell is Bold at?" he asked with a hint of worry in his voice. "I haven't seen him in awhile."

Looking at Kaeden dully he pointed to behind the bar. "He's sleeping over there in a ray of sunlight.... stupid cat." Shaking his head he continued eating and threw a coin across the room and had it fly back into his palm. "Ugh I'm so bored, I can't wait for us to go back on missions." Sighing Ikarugi stood up and walked back to the other's to see the golem get destroyed and sat in the shade of a rock and silently took mental notes to make sure he had a mental estimate of how each attack works.

"Ikarugi, I may be in charge but I havnt really learnt much of the land so ill be relying on you to lead me to our objective, to pass the time, you mind if I ask a few questions? I just wondered what you thought about you being ranked the same as me, a newcomer, also, do you have any plans to advance up the rankings?" Ikarugi pondered this and replied simply, "I don't intend to show off my power really whatever ranking I have I'm fine with. And the direction, well for that we just follow the trade route and we'll find them soon enough." Patting some of the sand off he looked at Vince's robe. "You know I could outfit that to work like mine. My jacket has 2 layers which are interchangable, right now the outside is built with a fabric weaved with magic to bounce off sunlight and keep the inside cool, it's no big deal to make really." Patting Vince on the back he laughed. "Just remember you're in charge so I won't move unless you tell me to."

Ikarugi shrugged and followed after Vince, "That's not a problem here as I said we would need to follow it sooner or later to get to them. Nonetheless you should keep an eye out as I said they will burst out of the sand if they spot anything to attack... maybe it's a trait of reptiles because gators use the same tactic..." Shaking his head Ikarugi followed in silence as he weaved magic around his hands for a while. "Here Vince, at least use this." Ikarugi then slapped Vince on the back and let the magic flow around him. "What I've done is create a contract with wandering wind spirits, since you need your energy they'll create a cross wind to cool you off. In other words you won't need water for quite a while just think of it as walking around in town." Smiling to himself for thinking of this he walked on with Vince to their destination.

Chuckling at Vine's enthusiasm. "You're in charge so if you change pace I'll change pace but being a skinny guy has its advantages like running." Walking steadily faster behind Vince he looked up to his companion who was scanning the area. Any signs of the prey? We'll need a heads up ahead of time, he may be a good fighter but as a newbie if it gets too stressful he might panic so keep a watch out for any stragglers.

Looking back to Vince he smiled. "I have my friend on look out for a while so just focus on getting there, he'll keep watch for any surprises so just stay focused on our journey."

Ikarugi nodded his head. "Good call my friend, alright then I'll head keep that in mind." Saying this he shot the water up into the atmosphere and had the cloud form. "So Vince what is your opinion on my magic exactly? Other people say it's either too weird or just evil. I on the other hand see it as a connection between two worlds, what about you?" Ikarugi brought this up as he felt he needed a conversation for the long trip they had left and silently followed Vince onward.

Conner listened to Aria and happily agreed with her with a smile then stated to both of them "Well I think it's decided then I guess we're leaving tonight." Remembering the bag of those special stones that Alexander made that he packed. Conner held them up showing them to both Aria and River and asked "So do you two have a good supply of these for the trip?"

Conner then turned to Alexander and asked in a semi hushed tone "So Alexander do you when the archive will be up again? Simply so we know when we can start checking to see if the stone work."

Looking back to Aria and River he smirked and said "Well I guess we're ready so let's go."
