She has no piercings on her body, not even her ears. There are no visible scars on the Princess's body, she's been kept very sheltered.

Eyes the color of red roses, hair a starch, snowy white. It was the color that most angels were associated with and none had as pure a hair color as she. Celeste has been sheltered her entire life, allowed to only live within the confines of her home. After all, it was dangerous out there, in a place where demons could lurk around the corners, where hate was spewed and people chanted for both war and peace.
Her wings are large and feathery white, they reflect the colors of the world around them, vibrant and shimmering. Of course, Celeste has only used her wings once or twice. She has only used them in practice while her brothers taught her to fly. As the youngest, they are vastly overprotective of her. To them, their little sister is the end all be all, the perfect picture of innocence and purity, not bloodstained from the war, but the picture every angel aspires to be. Of course, not everyone is perfect, their younger sister that they thought to be so complete suffered a great deal at the hands of ignorance and not knowing the terrors of the world. She has no real world skills, no training in combat since they never expected her to fight; weak in every sense of the word.

Twirl || When she's happy, Celeste will do pirouettes across the floor.
Nail bite || When concentrating very hard, Celeste will bite her thumb nail on her none dominant hand. A terrible habit that her parents have been trying to get her out of for years, but have never succeeded.
Singing || In the halls, in the bathroom, while painting, while working. She sings at every opportunity that comes her way. It's quite an annoying habit, but it's undoubtedly not the worst either.

Lies || Princess Celeste cannot tell a lie for the life of her.
Chocolate || Sweets in general really, she isn't allowed to eat much of them and so she covets each bite.
Warmth || The princess is prone to getting very cold and so you can normally see her wearing long sleeves.
Stuffed toys || A fan of all things cute, it's very typical for someone like her to become so easily distracted.

Princess Celeste's birth was an occasion to celebrate, throughout the pregnancy, the Queen had faced difficulties, unknowing that she was bearing a child and fighting on the battle field. It was in the middle of a landmark victory that the Queen Callisto went into labor and had her infant daughter right there. Far too small with featherless wings that would soon come in the same glossy white as the rest of her family. It was in that moment that Callisto and Zadkiel decided their youngest daughter would never see the troubles of war. They bundled her in a blanket and shielded her in armor before taking the little princess to the newly restored palace in the Capital City of Heaven, Eden.

Her family received her warmly, her older brothers becoming fiercely protective and the once youngest sister ecstatic to have a sister instead of brutish brothers that didn't understand her. It was an instant bond and the two sisters became close. While their older brothers learned skills such as strategy and fencing, Mizuki took up archery and trained to shoot flaming arrows with her light gift. Celeste on other hand was no good with weapons and more likely to hurt herself than others, so she was not allowed to take up such dangerous things. Her light gift, shape shifting, was something that she practiced often, but again, Celeste did not come anywhere close to her older siblings. In the end, she stuck to more girlish activities like painting and dancing. The Princess's watercolors became a coveted gift in the noble households and getting one was the equivalent of earning a hand in the ring to contest for the Princess's love.

Not that Celeste thought about any of those things. The little Princess was spoiled rotten and her family had no qualms with treating her as a stuffed animal. For the most part, Celeste had a peaceful life. She used to be allowed to stroll through the streets of Eden until one night, she was taking a moonlit stroll to pick up more paints when she was attacked by a demon. He tried to steal the Princess away, to take her to their realm where he could sell her for a pretty penny. They had only gotten to the border when her brothers and sister came charging after him, having been alerted by their sister's disappearance. Since then, Celeste has not been allowed to leave the castle. She spends her days, sitting and painting in the garden, or taking lessons in the ballroom, but longs to see the outside. She had no idea that her wish would come true in the most unusual way.

Celeste nodded, blushing slightly. "I meant it when I said it," it was strange hearing Kitra call her Father Dad, contradicting herself, it also felt right, in a way, almost fitting that Zadkiel would have taken over in Lucifer's stead to watch the rest of his three children grow and thrive. Perhaps it was his way of asking for an apology to the deceased man, wanting to move past their differences and finally forge peace. "I want a child or two of our own," she smiled warmly. "I don't know if it hurts, I only carried Thanos's baby for a week before they aborted it." They had done it while Celeste was asleep, her Father making the decision for her. "I'm glad he did it," Celeste admitted, "I don't think I would have been able to raise that child," much less survive the birth of it. "But once we're ready for it-" Celeste found herself blushing.

"Then-then I'd like to have our baby," not anytime soon, Celeste was in no rush to get pregnant, she wanted to enjoy her youth. "I mean-if my body still can, you know, after having the light disease and all." It could be likely that Celeste would never be able to have kids because of the chemo-therapy. "I guess when we're ready, I can have Ryker take a look," just the thought of having him look up there was enough to make her cheeks turn pink. "You're soft side is showing again," Celeste stood on tip toe to kiss Kitra's cheek. The angel, so short and small and the demon, so tall and graceful, were so opposite it was almost funny how well they got along.

"Now, where are we heading first?" Celeste smiled, looking out over the open waters. They had steered away from the docks and were now heading towards where the fishermen set out everyday to catch and bring in their wares. "Our first real adventure alone together," normally they were escorted by siblings or guards, but this time, it was just the two of them. Almost like the Hotel Loupelle, only there wouldn't be any hiding under fake names or needing to worry about delusions and getting found out. Celeste couldn't wait to chart the waters, to survey passages and maybe take a swim in the open ocean. "I still have to teach you to swim," Celeste remembered. Maybe once they had settled in and unpacked she would take to the waves and display to Kitra how it was done.

"It's beautiful," Celeste's eyes sparkled, watching the gulls caw and the fish scatter to get out of the way of this strange vessel that worked on lightning and not charms. Other fishermen tipped their hats as they passed, some bowing out of respect for the Queens. Celeste waved on the occasion, more than happy to chat with the boats they passed. She stayed by Kitra's side, knowing that this was where she belonged, that she was Kitra's and Kitra's was her's and no one would ever stop them.

❝Truth and lies and everything is reborn.❞

As evidenced by how much the two girls were blushing at just the mention of eventually having children, it was obvious that neither of them had the mentality or maturity needed to really raise a child yet. And perhaps it was just fine that way, perhaps they were just happy the way things were for now. Too much change would be making things move too quickly, it was fine for them to enjoy thing as they were. She grabbed Celeste's hand to comfort her and to hide her own shaking. "I don't want to think about that filth inside of you." It brought up way too many feelings to even begin making sense of, and none of those feelings were good. "Wh-whenever we're ready, we'll go to Ryker, and we'll make a child that's from the both of us." But of course they would love the adopted kids all just as much as their real ones, that wasn't even a question.

And so they were setting off. "Let's swing by the Hotel first." Kitra offered with a fanged grin, pointing to it on the map. "To the west and south of here. We won't go in, but we can see it again. Hopefully it's doing well now that you released all of the staff there." And so the course was set and Kitra's tentacles were hard at work with the controls. Kitra then had an idea - what if Celeste was the cartographer, the mapper, the navigator? "Here, you acn be in charge of the map." The spider decided cheerily. "You'll fill in everything your parents didn't. The code and patterns they used, you'll be able to pick up on it better than I can." After all, Celeste was their child by blood.

Maybe an hour later their yacht almost seemed to glide on the water and there it was, the island where the Hotel stood, proud, strong, resilient. "It feels like it's been forever since we've been here." Kitra whispered, feeling a bit of nostalgia in her. How nice it was, just her and Celeste, going on the run, escaping the oppressive prison Heaven had become. That was their only chance unless they wanted to go mad. "It's nice to see it again, even if we can't work there anymore." But for as long as their stay there lasted, it had been worth the memories, hadn't it? "Let's visit everyone again one day." That was going to be a promise.

But the Hotel would eventually become a memory as the real work started. They had to map their route, and Kitra would have Celeste become a mermaid in order to investigate the currents beneath, and then they'd follow said current to see where it would go. One current lead to an island housing a mine of rare metals, particularly adamantite, one harder and more durable than any other known to anyone. This far out, they no longer saw other boats, this far out, it truly was just the two of them in the open ocean. Then Kitra suddenly had an idea, a week into their trip. "Celty." Kitra spoke with an eager, nervous sort of energy. "Can you teach me to swim?"

"I'd love to teach you to swim," Celeste agreed eagerly. She went into the other room to change into her bathing suit, still feeling a little bit self conscious of her scars. Thankfully, when Selene had stabbed her it had gone through the old wound that Kitra had given her upon their first meeting after stabbing her and electrocuting her with her lightning spear. Celeste had long since forgiven Kitra for that, in fact, it was a most fateful incident that had led to the two girls falling in love. If Kitra had never kidnapped her, then who knows what would have happened? Perhaps Celeste would have never found the girl she was destined for? Perhaps her family would still be whole or all dead? That was the funny thing about the past, it could have gone so many different ways but there was no use dwelling on it because the past was the past and the present is a gift. Just like today, from the way the warm sun seemed to allow them to bask in its rays, to the gentle lapping of the ocean against the boat.

Her second biggest scar was the one Gabriel had given her when he had smacked her upside the head with his sword. It was a gash that cut across the center of her chest which Raphael had clumsily stitched up. He had saved her life in doing that and while it led to a most unusual scar, she was no less thankful that he had managed to mimic what Lilim had done with a sterile thread and needle. "Ready to learn?" Out here there was no one to see these scars but Celeste, Kitra, and perhaps the fish that swam underneath their vessel. Celeste smiled and went down the ladder, easing herself into the cold grasp of the ocean. "It's a little chilly, but it feels nice since it's so hot out." Celeste began to tread water, moving away from the ladder so that Kitra could come down. "Now, you're gonna want to paddle by doing this," she showed Kitra the most basic of moves that would help keep her afloat.

Celeste's took Kitra's hands, using her legs to keep herself buoyant so that she might properly show her lover how it was done. "See? Just like that, you're already doing it!" Celeste beamed, Kitra was quickly catching on. "Here, try this stroke now," Celeste showed Kitra various strokes, she taught her how to hold her breath and managed to coax her to open up her eyes underneath the water. Sure it stung a little, but there was an amazing world beneath their feet that Celeste didn't want Kitra to miss. While she could turn into a mermaid and explore the deeper parts of seaweed and sand, she knew that Kitra would be limited to swimming closer to the boat. Celeste wasn't going to abandon her, she stayed right by Kitra's side, giving her little pointers on how to conserve energy.

"When you swim you don't want to move around too much so you keep your strokes small. Unless you're racing, then you give it everything you've got!" She giggled, recalling something Michael had once told her. "But otherwise, keeping it small means that you'll have more energy in the long run and can stay afloat for longer." Some days it felt like Celeste's energy was boundless and she would chart the undertow because it was a place no other angel dared to go.

❝Truth and lies and everything is reborn.❞

ɗιαƖσgυє cσƖσя:#8f8c89 ♙ тнσυgнт cσƖσя :#7D65B3

No one was around, for miles and miles they were out here, they were safe, they were isolated, this was as private as things had ever been. So when Celeste agreed to teach her to swim, Kitra stripped as well, nervously making her wa into the water, blushing hard, feeling very out of place. "Pretty..." She murmured softly, trying to ignore how cold it was, how much she wanted to shiver. And that was when it happened, Kitra suddenly began to sunk. Well, she would have sank if it wasn't for a certain someone holding her and keeping the suddenly panic ridden girl from going any farther down. It was just so much water, so wet, so vast, it was like nothing she ever experienced before.

Honestly, Kitra wasn't sure what she was expecting as she floated in the water like a fleshy buoy. Celty was practically naked and Kitra felt very, very exposed in the swimsuit Lilim had chosen for her, revealing her shape and body more than she liked. And of course, a certain series of scars were readily available for anyone to see, it was like it was taunting her for what she did to the girl she loved, a reminder that wouldn't go away, ever. Yet Celeste almost seemed proud of it, wearing it like a trophy, as proof of what she lived through. And so Kitra said nothing about it, eagerly following her teacher's instructions, finding it very difficult at first, but slowly, slowly, Kitra felt as if she was getting the hang of things.

Eventually the two were done and Celeste was back out of the water, charting down all that they explored while Kitra was bundled up in a blanket, shivering because of how cold she felt. "Th-th-thank yu for... for teaching me." The spider's teeth chattered. "I-i-it was fun, we should s-swim again some time." Not right now of course, preferably when the water was warmer. Being in the vast endless ocean was kind of terrifying, like being swallowed up by a monster too big to see whole, but with Celeste, it was like a whole new adventure.

❝When you are in a garden which flowers do you pick? The most beautiful ones.❞

ɗιαƖσgυє cσƖσя: #F6A8B6 ♙ тнσυgнт cσƖσя #BDA0CB

|| Broken Crown || Mumford and Sons ||

"There you go, you're getting the hang of it!" Celeste giggled, watching Kitra swim around, seemingly terrified. "It's so vast and open, I'm almost afraid of getting swallowed whole." Celeste dunked her head underneath, her hair changing color as it was now wet. Kitra seemed to have had enough of the ocean, but Celeste could stay in longer. She kicked her legs and swished around, dunking underneath a few more times before finally returning to the deck. She shivered, the air a bit cooler in these regions. "It's sort of strange, it feels like we're the last ones left in the universe." The fog had begun to creep in and Celeste retreated to the interior of the boat for warmth. "It's hard to imagine we've been out here a month and still have so much to cover," Celeste tended to the little garden of greens they were growing on deck so that they could have fresh fruits and vegetables. As for meat, well, there were plenty of fish that were eager to take a bite. In these colder regions the fish swam closer to the surface and if you looked in the water you would occasionally see a glimmer.

"We should swim together where it's warmer," Celeste emerged from the cabin in clothes once more, her silky hair in a braid. "Here, I brought your clothes too," there was no one out here to see them change. "It's kind of like the apocalypse," Celeste sort of imagined that everyone else in the world disappeared and she and Kitra were the last two left. "It's eerie," Celeste couldn't wait for them to reach their next port, where they would restock on food and supplies. They had three months left if they wanted to make it back in time to meet Lilim's baby. Celste wanted to be there for the delivery, which was why she estimated a month early because well, right from birth children could be unpredictable. When Celeste tried to imagine herself pregnant with her and Kitra's child, not anytime soon, she sort of liked to think that her whole family would be there when it was delivered.

"I wonder what gender it'll be," and what it was going to look like. Would it have bat or angel wings? Would it have little horns or a tail? Celeste was eager to find out. It was a momentous occasion to welcome a royal baby into the family and there was no doubt in Celeste's mind that Lilim was going to throw a very large party that would last well into the night. In angel culture, whenever there was a new baby it was customary to hold a Welcome Ball, with fancy little cakes for the baby to smash and grab at and drinks served in cups matching the gender of the child. Seeing as how she was the youngest Celeste had never gotten to really experience a Welcome Ball, although Michael had said it was quite the grand affair considering her parents knew they wanted no more children after this.

Kitra was still shivering under her blanket when Celeste finally came back, changing back into her normal clothes. Maybe that'd be a good idea, but Kitra didn't feel like moving. "Can you change me?" She asked, looking away because it was horribly embarrassing. "I'm cold." Of course that meant Celeste would have to remove the swim suit and then dry her off and put on whatever clothes she thought looked nice, but if that was what it took, then maybe it was worth it? Although the demon had a feeling being touched so intimately would just make the heat happen and it would end in both of them being disrobed and achieving Heaven right then and there. "There's really hardly anyone out here. It's peaceful, but it's a bit weird." Kitra had never been this far out away from any semblance of society before. "I have you, though, so that's all I need."

Luckily the isolation didn't last forever. About three days later they made it to another port, the last port before they reached the end of the filled in areas of the map. While before they were still in half charted territory, after this it would be entirely new seas. The port city of Belle Pointe was one of angels, so far out in this remote location that they didn't even know about Thanos or the One God. "We don't question anyone's beliefs, wherever they come from, I'm sure it's true in some fashion." The sales angel said with a nod of the head when Kitra asked him in curiosity if he knew about them. The city looked old, but also somewhat modern in a way, as if from all the trade they advanced faster than a civilization normally would. It also confirmed that there were more continents out there, somewhere, and somehow people from all of them ended up here to do trade.

When Kitra and Celeste returned to their boat after spending a night just relaxing in Belle Pointe, they knew they had limited time. "So if we keep going south for another month, and then we go all the way back to Cape Terian-" that was where they took the Ferry to Hotel Loupelle -"Then we'll be back with a month to spare for Lilim's due date." So they had another four weeks to explore the uncharted areas, to go farther than Zadkiel or Callisto had ever gone before.

Two weeks in, Kitra and Celeste found something quite odd in and of itself. It was a large glowing sort of portal, and all around the portal was so much energy that electricity crackled and storm clouds threatened to pour down upon them. The inside of the portal very faintly showed rare flickers of what could lie on the other end. "I'm curious to see it." Kitra muttered, glancing at Celeste. "But - if we go, there's no guarantee the portal will be open on the other side." If they didn't have other responsibilities it would have been fine, but they didn't have time to go in and explore. "Maybe we can leave this mystery for the next generation. So, Celeste, are you ready to go back home?"

❝When you are in a garden which flowers do you pick? The most beautiful ones.❞

Celeste giggled, "It's okay, it'll be good practice for when we have kids," she said and brought a towel out from inside. Celeste helped Kitra out of her bathing suit and dried her off, but didn't get much farther as Kitra's tentacles decided to spring their trap. Both girls ended up on the blanket on the ground, right on the deck of the ship. It was only afterwards Celeste realized that their clothes were riding the waves and she ended up having to swim out nude to retrieve them. Luckily there wasn't another soul for miles around and she wasn't worried about being seen by fish. By the time she returned she was shivering and her lips were blue. The two girls retreated inside for the evening, allowing the boat's manual system to steer them towards their next port. Celeste blushed at Kitra's words, "with you," she said quietly, her eyes sparkling as she looked up shyly. "It's enough."

Three days later they made it to the port, a strange place that knew nothing of their angelic counterparts down south. It was sort of funny watching them bustle about, so unconcerned of the world around them. The town was like another continent and in all technicality, it probably could have been. They had their own form of Government, although they still technically operated underneath the Angeal's, as well as an elected leader that traveled back and forth between here an the main land although he never seemed to bring any news. They had no desire to connect with outsiders, some of their public papers even warned against welcoming strangers into their land as they could bring dangerous ideas and disease. It was disheartening to see such unwelcoming angels, Celeste hoped that perhaps there was room for change.

"I'm ready to go home," Celeste admitted. It was clear that the loneliness was beginning to get to her. Celeste was a social butterfly and while she had Kitra, after being this long together the conversations began to ebb. "We've neglected our duties long enough, I'm sure there's going to be plenty of papers to fill out." She couldn't wait to see Lilim as well as Ami and Finn, who had eloped privately a few days before Celeste's and Kitra's own wedding. they had bought a vacation house close to where the new palace in Hell resided, although the two were far from retired. As knights their duty was never ending and they seemed happy to be at work. Angels were happiest when they were useful, Celeste found and she too, was included in this category. Celeste felt happiest when Kitra needed her, even if it was for something like attending to the heat both seemed to get at least once a day.

When their ship landed, there was a crowd of people waiting to see them. Ami and Finn were among them, Ami excitedly jumping onto the deck to wrap Celeste in her arms, her stomach much rounder than it had been when she had last seen her. "I'm so glad you've finally returned!" She yelled, grabbing Kitra and pulling her into the hug. The dock was busy, there were fishermen coming in and out of boats, hauling their catch, setting out to get more. The little party didn't disrupt their daily business.

They had spent long enough out on the sea, it was time to head back home. After all, they were rulers and they couldn't just force Cambion to be the acting ruler of Hell the entire time. Plus, it wasn't like Kitra disliked ruling or anything. "I wonder if your parents also felt homesick." The demon asked aloud, looking at Celeste with a slanted grin as they veered their course away from the portal, back in the direction from which they came. "But we did go out farther than they did." Whatever mysteries the Southern Sea still had would be explored by Gabriel and his future wife when they married, and then the future children of royal Angeal blood. "Sunny's going to want you too, heh." Their honeymoon would be ending, and although it was a little sad, Kitra was looking forward to the next stage of their lives.

Two months later they arrived back at the Cape, and then Zadkiel and Callisto invited them to a big welcome back party in Eden this time, since it's most likely been a very long time since they had been there. "Give us the map later." Zadkiel's eyes were wide and excited, perhaps sea exploration was his secret thrill that he hadn't been able to indulge in a very long time. "I want to study it some more." Callisto hugged the man she loved and Kitra gently handed the coveted map to her parents in law, not knowing the feeling of parents for a long time, but deeply being touched by being treated like a daughter. "Maybe one day we can take a long trip." Callisto said gently and Kitra couldn't help but wonder if that could have some hidden other meaning.

"Where's Lilim and Raphael?" Kitra asked suddenly. Were they okay, what was happening? And suddenly the group of friends and family wasn't quite so energetic. It was awkward and then Maya made her way closer to the two returning lovers. "I'll tell you." She said with a frown. "In private." And that was particularly ominous, but they couldn't find out just yet, not with Gabriel and Ami helping with all of their luggage and everything they brought back as souvenirs, including a bunch of colored shell necklaces, one for everyone they cared about. "We're home at last." Kitra grinned.

That night at their old room in Eden, where Maya made her entrance. It was after another of their usual sessions, although Kitra's lunar cycle was starting up tomorrow so they wouldn't be able to for a few days after that. "Hey, next time-" But then she shook her head, covering Celeste protectively with a blanket. "What's going on with them? How is Lil, is she alive?" Death by childbirth wasn't rare for demon mothers after all, especially if the newborn's monster side lashed out and attacked the mother to literally claw their way out of the womb. "Yes." Maya said softly. "But the baby isn't." And that changed everything, didn't it?

"Look who decided to show up," Gabriel had arrived with Maya, the two of them entering as a couple, their outfits coordinated. Celeste was impressed, she and Kitra had only ever coordinated outfits on one occasion and that had been their wedding. Her fingers were weighted with two rings, one being the wedding band, the other the seal that bound Celeste's ability so that Kitra could control it. Finn nudged Gabriel who smiled upon seeing his little sister and her wife. "How was the journey?" He asked, Kitra was occupied speaking to her in-laws and was handing over the map. "Long and a little bit lonely," Celeste admitted. "I'm glad we did it though. It was exciting, we saw so much and did so many things. Gabriel you should have seen some of the lands we discovered," islands inhabited by dragons and faeries. There was one place where the plant life glowed so vividly at night they had nearly thought it was day.

Raphael and Lilim were the only smiling faces missing. Celeste looked around, trying to catch a glimpse of what was hopefully a swollen belly, but the only pregnant person present was Ami, who was rubbing her stomach as she spoke to an angel noble about something or another. Kitra pointed out the lack of their siblings and by the looks of Maya's expression, something was very much wrong. She didn't want to tell them here though, not in front of prying eyes and ears which was completely understandable. By the time the party began to wind down, day had turned to night an it was time to return to their home in Erets. "It's been so long, I can't wait to sleep in our bed!" Celeste said as she stretched her wings, yawning.

The two girls got busy almost as soon as the doors closed behind them and after another heated session, there was a knock on the door. Celeste squealed, Kitra covering her with a blanket before opening up the door to allow Maya to slip by. "Oh no," Celeste gasped. "How are they taking it?" No doubt they were in mourning over the loss of their child. "It hasn't dampened her spirits has it?" As a half breed it was probably harder for Lilim to carry to term. Celeste felt guilty of having thoughts about children before, not when Lilim had just lost her chance at birthing the souls of the siblings she had lost. "We should go see them," Celeste reached over to squeeze Kitra's hand and wondered how her lover was taking the news.

Maya left them after, seeing as how neither of the two girls were properly dressed. Celeste lay down in bed beside Kitra, her mind busy at work. If Lilim had miscarried, did that mean it was genetic? Celeste shook her head, reminding herself that Kitra and Lilim didn't share genes, then felt awful for being glad of such a thing. Miscarriages were something that could run in the family and it was not something Celeste wanted to go through.

Erets was beautiful and it was a good place for Hell to have as it's capital to head into the peaceful future everyone wanted for such a long time now. The Onyx Citadel was built for war, as a headquarters to organize and prepare armies to attack Heaven, but Erets was built with the idea of longevity and population in mind, to make it's residents happy and and productive. Not to mention, it was built with the efforts of angels, of demons, of Celeste and Kitra, it wasn't the first joint project of the two races, and it was far from the last. Maya came now, with horrible news that they hadn't wanted at all. Almost immediately Kitra wanted to go see Lilim, to go see Raphael. "Not well." Maya muttered, her playful smile absent from the scene.

It was understandable why Lilim didn't want to see them, didn't want to be at a happy celebration. The cheerful succubus was the last person to want to bring down the mood of a joyous occasion. "Her firstborn was going to have Zepar's soul, remember?" The only thing Maya really remembered of Zepar was the green haired girl that sat on her father's back as he destroyed her home, more than ten years ago. "And we assigned Michael to Ami and Finn." That's right, so that meant- "They won't get their happy ending together, will they?" Michael and Zepar, this was supposed to be their second chance of ending up together, even if it wasn't as them. But now that was going to be less likely to be possible.

"Tomorrow." Kitra said, since they didn't really have anything important scheduled tomorrow. "Let's go back to Eden, let's talk go see them." The lovers seemed to have the same idea, and so it was decided. "I'll come by to pick the two of you up." That was how she got to Erets to talk to them in the first place, after all. Kitra shook her head then. "No, we can take Skyla. The girl probably really wants to flap her wings." Sunny was getting bigger too, not big enough to carry a passenger yet, but big enough to fly on his own alongside Skyla for their trip to Eden. And with that Maya left, leaving Kitra and Celeste to both sleep with their thoughts. "It sounds bad to put it that way, but Lilim's a half breed, genetically she isn't as pure, right?" Honestly speaking, the chances of this happening was higher than anyone wanted to admit.

The sun rose, a new dawn for them all. Kitra and Celeste made it to the communal dragon's nest, to Skyla and Sunny's smaller nest within the large park-like area. Skyla opened a sleepy eye at them to acknowledge then and Sunny bounded over to Celeste, but this time he knew not to actually bowl her over, because he was more than big enough for that now. "It's been a while, hasn't it, Skyla? Are you ready, girl?" Dragons tended to live for about twenty or thirty years, Skyla was now halfway through that amount. Sooner or later she would be gone and - no, Kitra didn't want to think about that. Losing Winona was bad enough. After some basic maintenance and grooming, the two dragons were itching to go. "Eden's waiting, Celty. After you." She gestured on Skyla's back, her large blakc wings already stretched out.

"There's still a chance, she could get pregnant again, they can always try a second time." Sure it was likely going to take them some time before being ready, but the souls were still waiting, there was no reason to declare this battle lost as of yet. "So if she's born a few years later than planned, who cares? Girls always liked to be younger than boys anyhow," Celeste pointed out. She was younger than Kitra by a few months and Kitra was most definitely the dominant one in their relationship. Kitra was the one that wore the pants, she was the one with the control. Celeste didn't mind it, she liked being able to hand over the reigns at times when making decisions was difficult. Even if it could be seen as Kitra taking advantage of her through the rings, it was sort of exciting too. It certainly made their bedroom life more interesting, combined with Kitra's tentacles, there was no end to the entertaining things the two of them could explore together.

The next morning came soon enough, Celeste awoke, ate, and dressed in a timely fashion before the two girls headed down to the stables to retrieve their dragons. "Sunny!" Celeste squealed, watching as her dragon leaped out of his nest and came running over. He was getting bigger, able to stand up and place his front paws on Celeste's shoulders without her having to bend down. When he liked her cheek, it was a bit like getting licked by sandpaper, except a little bit stickier. "Silly boy," Celeste smiled, giving him a peck on the forehead. "I missed you too," she giggled, watching Sunny turn in eager circles before sitting down. The older he got the more obedient he became, which was something the angel was thankful for all things considering as he was finally outgrowing his unruliness.

"Thank you," Celeste took Kitra's hand and boarded the back of Skyla, her gift for Lilim tucked safely in the folds of her bag. "Do you think she'll like it?" Celeste asked nervously once Skyla had taken off. "I'm worried she'll think I only brought it to cheer her up," from the beginning, Lilim had been like a sister to Celeste. Even though she was younger she acted wise beyond her years and had protected Celeste before she and Kitra had fallen in love, using her ability as an excuse to come and see her. "It's hard to imagine we just came back, it almost feels like a dream, as though we never actually left." Those days on the rocking ship, some stormy, some calm, it felt as though it had happened to someone else, not her. Their honeymoon had come and gone and already Celeste was falling back into their normal routine. "Tomorrow we have all of those meetings," she groaned.

While it wasn't mandatory for Celeste to go, she hated being apart from Kitra, especially when there was still so much to learn about her new duties as Kitra's co-Queen. The two of them had shared the burden thus far, but Celeste was certain that soon the real work would come in, now that she was legally allowed to sign papers and all.

"Hey, hey, did you hear?" One angel jabbered excitedly near Heaven's Gate. "King Zadkiel and Queen Callisto, they're stepping down, it's, like whoa, it's gonna be so different!" There was more excited, energetic chatter. "So it's true? Is that why Queens Kitra and Celeste came by just now?" The other guard nodded, a full grin on his face. "Times are changing, I'm so happy to get to see it!" The other guard didn't look quite so happy and he scowled. "So why the heck are we here guarding, then? What else is there even to guard against?" The other angel paused for a second and then frowned, shrugging. "I dunno." He said honestly. "Ever since Satan's fall, there wasn't really anything to fight. Wild animals trying to pee on the Gate, I guess?" Though more than anything they just warded the animals away with food, so that wasn't even a thing. "Our jobs are so boring, man."

Kitra and Celeste weren't quite as bored as these two. They were in Eden now, and it was impossible to just sneak in unnoticed like they did before, especially because they were flying two dragons into the pearl city, the idyllic garden of light. They were invited in, escorted by Ami and Finn, two very old and very friendly friends of theirs from a very long time ago. "It's good you're here." Ami said with a grin and then Kitra was very surprised. "What about Mio?" She asked, referring to their child, the one with Michael's soul who had become a girl somehow. "Lilim has her in the nursery with Zery, she thinks he's like a little brother." Zery was Zepar, but a boy this time. That made sense, even if it was weird to try to make two kids get along for them to be romantic later on.

So they entered the hall, Lilim was already pregnant again, her round belly big and making her look very silly despite everything. "Raphie cant keep his hands off of me, sheesh." She groaned and Raphael, as usual blushed. "That's not it at all, you keep - and then look what happened! You started it!" If one thought Celeste and Kitra did it often, then you'd be very surprised at Raphael and Lilim. Almost instantly after Zery was born she was begging Raphael to do it even if it was in her danger time and then he did it and she decided, hey, why not let Zery have a sibling? And so here they were, only about a month left until it was time. "You two are both idiots." Kitra chuckled and then Lilim glanced at Celeste and her eyes went oh so very wide. "Oh my god, you guys-" Before she could scream and ruin the surprise Kitra shushed her. "Don't tell anyone, got it?"

And so Zadkiel and Callisto were giving their speech, of a renewal of society, of the old giving way for the new, of their time being over and it being time for a new generation to begin. So they stepped back, allowing Gabriel to stand up at the forefront, a new crown being placed in his head, making him King of Heaven. "I will do all in my duty to make Heaven as wonderful a place as it can be." And then he pulled something out of his pocket, a tiny box. "Maya Ataera, would you come here, please?" So Maya stepped up too, which was odd because she didn't quite expect to be brought in front of everyone. "I can't rule alone, Maya. I want you at my side." And then Maya was stunned for a few seconds and then she grinned a slow, but happy grin. "If you'll have me, I happily accept."

But that was when Gabriel's eyes scanned the crowd, right after their kiss to commemorate the engagement. "Celty..." His eyes went super wide as he stared and he noticed. And slowly, all eyes turned to the Hellian Queens. "You're-" Kitra grinned, embracing the one she loved. "Yup. We already got a name ready too." Lilim let out a scream that made Raphael jump in fear. "Tell us, tell us what it'll be called!" She wailed and Kitra had a secretive smile on her face. "You'll know a few months from now, won't you?"

Times were changing, and things were only looking brighter for the future generation. For once, they would get to be born into a world of peace.
