Humans were never alone. Among them lived those who were to keep order and balance. The humans believed that they were creatures of the night. Vampires. Werewolves. Witches. But these weren't creatures that ventured under the moon. They didn't fight to live for they were immortal. Around for centuries living off human auras alone. They were called the Council. Gods that chose to live among the humans. To learn how to live like them. To be able to control them easier. These Gods were like the humans, but they couldn't feel. Emotions were a human creation that the Gods couldn't acquire.

As time went on the Gods were growing weak. The humans were creating idols and forgetting who put them on this earth. The prayers stopped and so the Gods started to create small disasters for prayers. All the things they have done have been documented since Noahs Arc. Plagues, Natural Disasters, and much more. Prayers were flying in, but recently humans stopped praying again. The Council didn't know what to do so they decided to create a deadly disease. This disease was called The Angels Disease. It is said that only the angels could save the people. Only the Gods had these cures.

But little did the people know, only select people were getting the The Angels Disease. People the Gods thought were worthy to be specially recognized by the heavens. Humans that were taken to a secret facility to be cured where changed into humans. The angels were there at the Gods disposal, but the leader was tired of being used. So she leads the Angel Rebellion. And the story only gets better from there.

There isn't any information documented about the Angels Disease. The humans don't know how it started, how its spreading, who can get it, and how to treat it. It seems to vary from person to person. The only people that know how to fix it is The Council. The sick are sent to The Island of Eden. A special facility to cure this disease. Only the council run the facility. There are Three Stages.

The first stage has symptoms that aren't noticeable. Fatigue, Loss of Appetite, and irritated dry skin. Nothing that some extra sleep, dieting pills, and lotion can seem to fix. That is what most people think. But that means the disease has no entered the body and is testing the waters. Second stage are flu like symptoms. Coughing, sneezing, high fever, chills, and night sweats. The disease has mutated and is attacking the immune system. People try and treat this with basic flu remedies. The third stage causes blindness first and then hearing loss. It takes so long to realize what is going on that by the time they figure out The Angel Disease got to them, they are blind and deaf.

Two Cures. Cure one is turning into an Angel and being the The Council's disposal. This only works during the first or second stage. Their angel healing abilities will take over and it will be as if they were never sick. The Council Blessing is the second cure that doesn't require becoming an angel. The Council gather around discussing the human's worth. And if they all agree the council will cure them and send them home. It has only happened twice in the decades of starting the disease.

Abigail felt bad that she had to leave Cas after they had just had coffee. She wanted to spend a bit more time with him, but the last thing she needed was for her brother to have a heart attack. Cas dismissed her from the kitchen as she finished the coffee. The brunette walked back into the bedroom that she had been in and collected her stuff. She put her heels back on and searched the room for her wallet. She had found it hidden in the blanket. Once she had her things, she made up the bed and fluffed up the pillows. It was like she didn't even sleep here. Abigail ran her fingers through her hair and walked back out to the kitchen where Cas was waiting. "I'm read- achoo!" Abby rubbed her nose after her sneeze. "Excuse. I was trying to say that I am ready." She has no idea where that sneeze came from. Hopefully she wasn't getting sick. She hated when she was sick. Everything was harder on her and her brother.

Image

Cordelia watched his tense facial expression relax. It must be about his sister. Everything seemed to be okay once he sighed. She finished her omelet and watched Aidan just take one bite of his. But he couldn't. "Aidan ar-" He got up and ran to the bathroom. Out of concern, she got up and followed him. She was trying so hard not to think the worse, but being an angel from Eden that is just what she believed. But it could just be a human problem. Cordelia pushed the angel disease aside and leaned against the door. "Do you need me to do anything?" Of course she would stay until his sister got here to take care of him. And even longer if she had too.

Image

Roman watched Leon relax a bit as they held eye contact. And then the young man did something that actually surprised Roman. Leon initiated the kiss. It was innocent peck that didn't last very long. But now Roman didn't feel like this was a one sided thing. The young man had feelings for him and that was truly all that matter to Roman. Now he could really try and make him happy. He smiled at Leon for a moment before leaning back down to kiss him once again. His hands found Leon's waist and he brought him closer. So far this was a wonderful morning.

Caastiel finished up the dishes, even dried them and out them back where they belonged, as Abigail gathered her things. He was ready, keys in hand, by the rime she walked back out. He was startled slightly when she sneezed and something told him to be worried, but he brushed it off. Humans got sick with colds all the time, and then there were these things called allergies. There was no reason to believe that one random sneeze was a bad sign. "Bless you" he said quietly as they headed out the door. "take good care of yourself" he added as he walked down the steps and unlocked the car, opening the passenger door for her. "I don't want hour brother thinking I let you get sick" he almost chuckled.

Image

Aidan had thrown up with absolutely no warning, just like the previous times. He saton the edge of the tub just as Cordelia car,e rushing in, asking if she could help. He shook his head, staying near the toilet just in case his stomach decided to protest again. "This has happened before" he said with a slight cough. "It goes away pretty quickly". He sat still, staring at the floor. If this met happening he'd have to go to the doctor. "Probably just a flu" he assured her, brushing it off, even though it was clear to him now that it wasn't just a simple stomach flu. After making sure it wouldn't happen again, he got to his feet and walked to the sink to rinse out his mouth. Such delicious food wasted.

Image

Leon didn't dare to look up and see Roman's confident smile, but he didn't have to. Before he knew it, he was being kissed again. He should have known it was coming, but t still made his stomach jump. After what seemed like an eternity, which in reality wss only a few seconds, Leon's hands slowly wandered up the man's chest and around his neck. He was already in too deep, he might s well enjoy this before it all came crumbling down. With very little hesitation, Leon slowly started responding to the kiss, knowing that roman would never let him live this down. His could no longer tell if his heart had stopped or if it was simply beating too fast for him to tell. His body seemed to be moving before his mind could catch up and before he knew it, his body was pressed against Roman's as if he were the only thing keeping Leon together.

Abigail smiled at his comment. If Aidan thought Cas got her sick, she wouldn't hear the end of it. He would add it to the list of reasons to why she shouldn't be out with boys alone. She slid into the passenger seat and relaxed into the chair. Once Mr. Perfect settled into the driver seat they took off. She started fiddling with her fingers thinking that this was the last time she would see Cas. The other two times they were together was just luck. Especially with the party. She recognized her neighborhood and she frowned a bit. She was going to miss Mr. Perfect. Abby looked over at him. "W-will I see you again? I-I would really like to see you again." She blushed and looked back down. She had been so confident earlier. But now she was nervous again. "...achoo.." She sneezed and rubbed her nose again. Abby should get out of the car so that she doesn't get Cas sick.

Image

Cordelia just watched Aidan. She was concerned for him especially because this seems to happen often. When he stood up to clean his mouth, it seemed that the feeling has passed. The angel pushed herself off the door frame and smiled lightly at him. "I'm going to go put my dress back on. I don't want Abby to see me in just your dress shirt." Cordelia giggled a little and walked back to his bedroom and shut the door. She undid the dress shirt and tossed it onto the bed. Quickly she slipped her dress back on. She would need to go home to change pretty soon. But not without Leon, who had yet to respond to her text message. She had faith everything was perfectly fine.

Image

Roman smirk for a moment during their kiss. Leon was responding and he liked it. He was half expecting the young male to pull back and make an excuse that he needed to leave. But this was perfectly fine. A much better alternative. Roman didn't want to continue this in his kitchen though. Holding onto Leon tighter, Roman picked the younger male up. He got Leon to wrap his legs around the older males waist without breaking the kiss. He started making his way back to the bedroom. Once inside he kicked the door shut. Roman gently laid Leon back down on the bed. He broke the kiss and trailed them down his jawline to his neck.

Casteel drove as slowly as legally possible, this way his time with Abigail would last a little linger. Eventually though, they made it to her neighborhood and then her house. He faked his car a few feet away from the front of the house and oaused, frowning slightly when Abigail sneezed for the second time. "We can see each other again...on one condition." he said as he unbuckled his sets belt. "You need to take care of that oncoming cold" he said with a slight smile and he handed her a tissue from the glove compartment. He then quickly stepped out and walked over to her side, open the door and closing it once she got out. "This is as far as I go" he said, knowing that he should be going back to Eden. "I will see you soon miss Abigail" he said as he slowly leaned closer and placed a soft kiss on her lips, lingering for only a few seconds. He then quickly slipped back into his car and drove off.

Image

Aidan finished rinsing his mouth and nodded to Cordelia's suggestion. "Good idea" he said before she left to change. As she was changing he walked back into the kitchen and took both their plates, putting the untouched crape back with the other two left and slipped them into the oven. Abigail lived anything sweet, so perhaps she would want some when she got home. Who knows when that would be though. She had said "soon" but that could mean anything from 10 minutes to a couple of hours. He sighed, hoping everything was alright, and began washing the dishes. Finishing just as Cordelia walked back out in her dress and heels from the night before. He dried his hands send turned to her. "Is there any chance of this repeating in the near future...without me puking my guts out in front of you" he said, a little embarrassed by the even.

Image

Leon was completely list in the heat of the moment. He fly Roman's arms pick him up and he didn't even attempt to protest this time. He almost immediately wrapped his legs around him and was quickly carried to the bed. His excuse of not being able to protests because his mouth was busy was skin shattered when Roman's lips trailed off from his own and wandered elsewhere. He let out a small sigh, his cheeks burning slightly from embarrassment. He had to say something, anything before his mind and his body became too involved. "I h-have to go-" he finally protested halfheartedly, silently cursing himself for stuttering. He was losing his focus completely, but he wouldn't go down without a fight. Even though he had the feeling he had already lost a long time ago.

Abigail gratefully took the tissue and rubbed her nose. This was a horrible time to get a cold. Around someone she had a major crush on. She was at least happy that he agreed to see her again which meant she had to get better today. Just in case he wanted to see her tomorrow or the day after. Her thoughts were completely interrupted when Cas kissed her. Everything in her mind was blank and her focus was on the kiss. It didn't last very long, but it was enough. That was her first kiss too. When the kiss broke her face was redder than a tomato. She stood there like a dummy and watch Mr. Perfect drive off. Her hand went to her lips and she giggled. Slowly she made her up to her house. She opened the front door and closed it by leaning against it. Her smile was wide and she couldn't get it to go away. Near the kitchen she saw her brother with a woman. She looked familiar, but Abby couldn't place a name. "Hey.." she waved at them and then quickly made her way towards her bedroom. She didn't want to interrupt them. That was rude.

Image

Cordelia ran her fingers through her hair a few times to get it settled. Then she saw that Cas had cleaned up the stuff in the kitchen. She couldn't wait to come back and see him mess the kitchen up again so that she could eat more of his food. Just hanging out with him was fine as well, but the food is just something she can't resist. The angel smiled at her clearly embarrassed human friend. "Of course. You can't get rid of me that easy." She said. Just them Abby, Aidan's sister, walked in. She waved and then disappeared. That must have been Cordelia's cue to leave. She doesn't every remember giving him her phone number. So she grabbed a pen and a napkin. Quickly, she scribbled her name and number on it. "See you soon." Cordelia leaned over and kissed his cheek before seeing herself out. Now that her morning had technically ended, she needed to head back to Eden. She wasn't looking forward to that at all. Especially because she was going by herself. Leon hadn't texted back. The angel just made her way towards the back of an abandoned building and took off.

Image

Roman was really enjoy this as was Leon. Even if he wasn't making any noise, he body was responding for him. That more than enough for him to continue. The older male moved his hands up Leon's shirt and pulled him even closer. If that was even possible at this point. "I h-have to go-" Roman stopped and sat up a little, looking over Leon. That was the excuse Roman was expecting a while ago, but in their current state he didn't believe Leon. Not at all. Removing his hands from the younger male, Roman pulled off his own shirt and tossed it to the ground. "Do you really?" Roman's voice calm and deep. He leaned back down and pushed Leon's shirt up. He started to kiss all around his chest even nibbling on a few areas. He wasn't going to let Leon get away so easily this time.

After leaving Abigail Castiel seemed to default to his usual self. He drove back to "his pla" and parked the car, putting the keys inside the house then walked out. Within a few minutes he was already back on eden. He walked up to the front doors of the council's main room and took a deep breathe. Behind those doors could be hell and Castiel wasn't in the mood to deal with it. After a few more seconds, he pushed open the doors, revealing the main hall to be empty. He looked around for any sign of life, but no one seemed to be there, not even his loving father. He slipped his hands in his pant pockets and began walking towards his office. Unfortunately he didn't make it very far before he heard a familiar voice come from behind him. "look who decided to grace us with his presence". With a slight roll of his eyes, Cas turned around to face his father.

Image

Aidan happily took the angel's number and smiled softly when he was given a kiss. He watched as she left and stared at the sink for a while. After making sure everything was put up, he dried his hands and headed over to Abigail ' s room. He knocked quietly a few times before peaking his head it. "Hey…" he leaned against the door frame, not planning on staying for very long. He didn't want to bother her and at first glance she seemed to be okay, no broken bones, no red marks anywhere on her body. He hoped his assumption about who she stayed with the night before was wrong as well. "Are you okay? You hardly said anything when you walked in" he pointed out.

Image

Leon had attempted to protest, but it seemed that even Roman could tell he wasn't serious. In reality he wasn't lying. He really did need to go and soon, but he didn't want to go now. He didn't want to go ever. Roman took off his shirt and Leon was quite literally breathless. He didn't have much time to dwell on it before Roman continued what he had started before. This time Leon couldn't control his mouth, nor his body. He somewhat willingly let the quiet noises escape him, ignoring how embarrassed he felt, and gave into Roman's touch completely. It was now decided that he would no longer protest. He tilted his head back, feeling Roman's hand hover over the buttons on his dress shirt, and closed his eyes, letting Roman do as he pleased.

Abigail quickly changed out of the dress from yesterday. But there was a smile still plastered on her face from the fact that Cas was her first kiss. She couldn't get that out of her head. She got her new outfit. She folded her dress and placed it in the bottom of her dresser. She would have to remember to wash everything in that bottom drawer later today. She ran her fingers through her hair and that was when her brother came to her room. Abby was trying to contain the smile that was on her face, but she was having difficulty. "I am fine. I just didn't want to bother you while your friend was here." That and she was still a bit speechless about the kiss. "Also sorry for staying over somewhere else. I kind of just fell asleep." Which was true. ...achoo.." Abby really needed to get this under control.

Image

Cordelia landed in Eden still not happy with the fact that she had yet to hear from Leon. She will give him a ear full whenever he shows up. Obviously not in front of the Gods. The last thing she needs was for the Council to realize what her and her second in command do on the mainland. They would be stripped of their wings. Or replaced. Or killed. Those are all pretty bad for an angel. She got to her "room" and changed out of her dress. Putting together a new outfit, she got dressed. Running her fingers through her hair, she left her wings her unfurled. It was nice having them out considering she had them in for more than 24 hours. It was starting to hurt. She left her room and saw that Cas had returned. And to make things even better his father was with him. Cordelia kind of lingered by to hear the argument unfold.

Image

Roman was glad that Leon was done protesting. The older male was running out of things to say to him. He was too engrossed in what he was doing to form words at the current moment. It wasn't long after the rest of their clothes made it to the floor and they became tangled up in the sheets.
Fade to black
Now Roman couldn't tell what Leon was thinking at this current moment in time. During their messing around, it was obvious what he was thinking by the facial expressions. But now that it was over they were back to the guessing game. Where Roman was guessing what Leon was thinking. Because now the older male couldn't trust Leon's words. Especially not after this. So he just watched Leon. His eyes roamed all over him. "How do you feel?"

Aidan watched his sister as she apologized for staying out the night before and his expression softened. He knew she wasn't the irresponsible type, and it didn't seem like anything had happened. "It's okay, I was just worried" he said, adding a soft smile to assure her he wasn't mad. He jumped slightly when she sneezed and lifted an eyebrow. "Are you getting sick? You better take something for that soon" he said, remembering what happened last time she was sick. She had to miss school and the fact that she couldn't dance killed her inside. Of course the cold passed by quickly, but a few days without being able to dance for Abby was like an eternity. "I'll go find you something" he said, placing a kiss on her forehead. "I'm glad you're okay" he turned and headed out of the room to find her some medicine, still feeling like he could throw up at any moment.

Image

Castiel was not in the mood for anything his father had to say at the moment, but it didn't look like she had a choice. "I've given you everything, have I not?" his father began, and Castiel already knew where this was headed. More insults thrown at him by his dear ol' dad. Not that it mattered, he'd just brush it off like usual. "And you go and do things behind my back". Castiel sighed and ran a hand through his dark hair. "Since when do you care what I do?". His father seemed so calm, and it frustrated him beyond belief. "Since you've become such a dissapointment" the man spar, and Cas could have sworn he felt a sting. "Everyone said having you as second in command was a bad idea, but I didn't listen to them. I said 'no, he's just like his father, you'll see', well congratulations Catiep, you've proven them right". As the man spoke, Cas felt like he was going to be sick. He wasn't angry this time, and no matter how hard he tried he couldn't brush the insults away like usual. "I didn't realize I had become so useless" he muttered, expecting his father to disagree. "Well you have". The older god turned on his heels and left Castiel standing in the middle of the hallway, more confused than he had ever been in his immortal life. He let out a small, unamused chuckle and turned to continue on his way to his office, his steps much slower than before and a huge unfamiliar lump in his throat.

Image

Leon layed beside Roman, his head resting on his chest and his eyes glued to the wall. How did feel? How was he supposed to answer that? Guilty. Weak. Amazing. There were too many different answers he could have given but he settled for his usual one. "Fine". He knew Roman now had a glimpse of how he actually felt about him, so what was he supposed to deal with that? He hadn't felt that good in…ever, but he couldn't just say that out loud even if he wanted to. He knew it was about time for him to go back to Eden, but he didn't want to. He never did truly want to go back there but today the feeling was stronger than ever. There was one thing that weighed on Leon's mind and if he didn't ask, it would torment him for who knows how long. He took in a quick breath and pushed himself up into a sitting position, the sheets bare covering his bottom half and his back turned to Roman. "Why…do you even like me?". He'd been wondering since they met again at the banquet. Despite Leon's cold attitude towards him, Roman still seemed to want to be around him. And he couldn't think of a single reason why. He sat in silence, expecting Roman to say something that would crush him and give him a reason to leave and never come back.

Abigail already knew Aidan was worried which is why she apologized. Even though there wasn't much to be worried about. Besides the fact the fact she was at boys house. To Abby it wasn't just any boy. It was Mr. Perfect. But for Dan it was someone interested in his sister. Abby sat down on her bed and sneezed again. This was getting ridiculous. She didn't even do anything recently to be able to get a cold. Now she was not happy. Her loving older brother offered to her medicine which made him brother of the year. "Thanks Dan." He left after a kiss on the forehead. When he was officially gone she laid on her bed with a sigh. Her hand touched her lips and then she glanced at her phone. She just saw him a few minutes ago. Abby refuses act like some clingy girlfriend when they aren't even dating.

Image

Cordelia watched the argument between Cas and his father. It was quite brutal. And what sucked about the whole thing was that Head Council Member has no feelings. He is saying exactly what is on mind without any emotion behind it. Which means nothing is being over exaggerated. Cordelia felt extremely bad at this moment for giving Cas the tea. He has to take this and process it in a new way. Which was good for the angels. Awful for the confused God. Once his father walked away, Cordelia moved towards Cas' office. Standing at the door she knocked on it. "Knock knock." She had a devious look on her face as she made her way to the chair before his desk. Cordelia leaned back and crossed her legs. "I didn't know Daddy could be so mean." She fake pouted. "I thought I was the only one that could leave you speechless." Cordelia was being a tad bit mean, but it was just to get him to talk to her.

Image

Fine. Leon was fine. Roman could handle fine. He kept his arms around the younger male, not wanting him to move from this spot. Roman could lay here all day with Leon. He hasn't felt this good in a while and it was nice to get this feeling again. Especially with someone he likes. Not just some guy that would happily climb into bed with anyone. For some reason, with Leon, it was a completely different experience. Then Leon asked a question that he was not ready for. To be honest, no one is ever really ready for this question. "Why…do you even like me?" Roman raised an eyebrow. "I'm guessing you don't want an answer that is revolved around your looks." He was only teasing Leon of course. At first that is what it was, but then it turned into something else. "Despite your cold demeanor towards me, when you and I actually make eye contact there is something kind." Roman has yet to figure out exactly what that was because Leon hasn't really opened up to him yet. "And this might not be reason enough, but I really want you to be happy." Roman sat up as well and kissed Leon's shoulder. "And I want to be the one that makes that happen for you."

Aidan made it to the medicine cabinet and began looking through all they things. Luckily they had some cold medicine he could give Abigail, but no stomach flu or nausea medicine for him. He'd just have to endure it. He pulled out the bottle and sat it on the counter as he went to the refrigerator and grabbed a bottle of water. His stomach still felt like it was doing flips, and he didn't know what to do. He didn't think Abigail knew either. Perhaps Cordelia would know. She was in the medical field after all. He had meant to ask her before but everything went by so quickly after he puked his guts out that he didn't get the chance to. he pulled his phone out and stared at he new contact for much linger than necessary before deciding not to text. She had just barely left and he was already thinking of texting her, it was too soon. The last thing he wanted to do was scare her away. With a sigh he grabbed the bottle of water and the medicine and headed back to Abigail's room.

Image

Casteel eventually made it back to his office, pulling off his tie and suit jacket he still had on from the night before and sat in his chair. the seconds crawled by as he stared at his desk, when there was a sudden knock at his door. He looked up and was immediately confused by who had caused it. Why was Cordelia there? And why did she have o pick now out of all times? She invited herself in and took a seat, an unusual devious smirk on her face. She was up to something, and for the first time since Cas could remember, he didn't care. She made a comment about his father which dug deeper than he would have thought possible, but he blew it off with a lift of his eyebrow. "So now you're eavesdropping" he said as more of a statement than a question. He leaned forward in his chair, his eye piercing deep into hers. Normally, he would have warn a cold glare that would have been enough to send anyone running in fear. He had personally given Cordelia that same look once or twice. This time, however, there was nothing but confusion and though it was unknown to Casteel, a little bit of pain in his stare. "What do you want this time?" he said, his tone dry and tired.

Image

Leon stared at the wall waiting for a cold and direct answer. To be honest, he did expect him to say something about his looks and whatever other shallow thing he could think of, but Roman's answer caught him completely off guard. So he know what he was thinking after all. Leon's hands gripped the sheets as a wave of emotions nearly knocked him over. He was so happy it terrified him. He was horrified of embracing the good feelings, of embracing Roman and everything he had to give, only to lose him right after. There was no guarantee that he wouldn't. Even if Roman's intentions were pure, even if the man really did keep his promise about never hurting him, even if Roman truly liked him foe more than looks... they couldn't hide from the council forever. Sooner or later they would find out, and when they did there wasn't going to be a happy ending for anyone. What made things worse is, he couldn't tell Roman any of this. What Leon did and was about to do probably seemed awful from Roman's point of view. He keg reminding himself he didn't have a choice. "I can't do this" he muttered, almost too quiet to understand, his voice fading a bit in some places. He was seconds away from breaking down in tears. Before Roman had the chance to say anything, Leon quickly got to his feet and began getting dressed.

Abigail has upgraded from just sneezing to sneezing and coughing. She was coming down with a cold and the cough had made it official. She got under her blankets and cuddled up. The best thing to do was sleep and take medicine. But if she slept and Cas called her, she would miss the call. Mr. Perfect should understand that a sick person needs sleep. He is a medical person so he would highly recommend it. Sitting back up, the brunette tied her hair into a messy bun. Her head hit the pillow and she sighed in content. Then her brother returned with water and medicine. Abigail sat up immediately to receive her remedy. "Thanks." The cold medicine syrup tasted weird as usual, but it was going to help her feel better. After setting it on her night stand, she slid over in her bed and patted the empty space. "Come cuddle, Dan." It would be easier to sleep with someone rubbing her back.

Image

"So now you're eavesdropping" Cordelia giggled a little and rubbed her nails on her shirt. "It's not new. I'm just openly telling you about it." She just wanted to clarify that she continues to eavesdrop just so that she can see if whatever the council has to say will benefit you. But what has happened today and the day before means that it was time to move forward with her Angel Rebellion planned. "Well usually want you to drop of the face of the earth with the rest of the council, but I have something else I want." Cordelia uncrossed her legs and moved the chair closer to the desk. Resting her arms on the table, she leaned in close. "First. What is like to experience hatred for the first time? Must be weird." She started playing with many of the objects on his desk. "And I saw the way you looked at that girl the other night. She has to be special." She was just rambling on, implying that she clearly she did something to him. Cordelia was clearly enjoying it.

Image

Roman was waiting for a reaction. He was really hoping for a positive one, but he got a reaction that completely crushed him. Leon just said he couldn't and got out of the bed. Roman was paralyzed for a moment watching Leon get dressed. He should say something. Anything. But Roman didn't understand. He thought Roman was fine. That he had just enjoyed himself. That he wanted to be with him. The older male was just so sad. This is supposed to be the moment of panic where Roman scrambles out of bed and tries to get Leon to explain himself. But Roman wasn't going to do that to himself. He had been vulnerable with Leon. Tried to open up to him. Let him in his home. And he was going to up and leave after sex. Roman wasn't in the mood to play cat and mouse. "When you change your mind, you know where I live." Roman laid back down and stared up at the ceiling. This could have just been another excuse, but it didn't feel that way.

Aidan gave his sister the medicine she needed, noticing that not only was she sneezing now but she was coughing as well. This was one fast growing cold. He sighed at her request and took off his shoes. "You better hope I don't get sick too" he warned, but crawled under the blankets with her regardless. He placed a hand to her forehead and frowned the slightest bit when she felt it a bit warm. "If you don't get better soon, I'm taking you to the doctor this time" he warned, fully expecting some kind of protest from his sister. Neither of them liked going to hospitals, but because of that, Abigail's cold lasted longer than it should have the last time she got sick. Aidan was determined to take her this time if needed.

Casteel watched in silence as Cordelia spoke. She stated there was something she wanted and Casteel almost laughed. Who was she to demand something from the second most powerful god in the council. Could it be that she knew something was wrong with him? No, she had caused it. It was mere than clear to Cassie that she was behind the confusion and chaos going on in his mind, as well as the pain. Casteel's fist pounded on the desk as he got to his feet and leaned forward, somewhat towering over her. "What the hell did you do to me?" he hissed, demanding an explanation that was long overdue. His eyes blazed as he glared back at her, his usual stare much more frightening than it had ever been before. Of course it was to be expected now that it was accompanied by actual rage. "I should have known you were behind this. You've always had me at the top of your hate list" his rage turned into anger mixed with pain. He honestly couldn't care less what Cordelia thought about him, but the thought of being disliked so much not only by her but by his father as well almost hurt. "Out of all the assholes and hypocrites on that stupid council you could have chosen for your little experiment and you pick me?". He walked around the desk and grabbed her arm, pulling her to her feet, but quickly letting go. He had always been against violence, even now that his blood was coursing with anger. "I didn't do this to you. I've never wanted anything to so with any of this so I suggest you back off".

Leon continued to dress himself in silence, maintaining a straight face, that is until Roman spoke. He a paused momentarily, swallowing the lump in his throat. "You didn't understand" he muttered, loud enough for Roman to hear. He finished putting on his shies and walked closer to the bed. His hands slowly balled into fists as he looked down at Roman's perfect face. He looked so hurt, so distraught, Leon couldn't hold it in despite his efforts. He leaned forward, resting his hands on either side of Roman's shoulders as tears began to accumulate around his eyes. "I can't... I can't do this" he repeated, looking him in the eyes, his voice shaky and almost weak. He thought for a second of a better way to say what he was thinking, and there was only one way. "No matter how much I want to... I can't.". The angel would have said something like 'I'm not allowed' but that would have raised many questions. Questions that Leon couldn't answer. He felt the tears behind his eyes screaming to get out and he knew there was only one thing left to do. Without another word, and before Roman had the chance to ask anything, Leon closed the gap between them and kisses the man like he would never get the chance to do so again, which could very well be the case. He reluctantly pulled away and straightened himself up as he whipped the small tears away, then turned and all but ran out the door before he even had a small chance of changing his mind. He was out of Roman's house and on his way to Eden within minutes, it wasn't until he reached that island that he realized he had left his cellphone on Roman's bedside table.

Abigail instantly wrapped her arms around her brother. He was warm and it was already making her feel better. But by the look on her brother's face she wasn't. And his comment didn't help. The brunette groaned. She didn't want to go to a hospital. They were dreadful and smelled like death. The nurses and doctors always had cold hands. And they always felt the need to ask a thousand personal questions that made Abby feel like she wasn't living a normal life. "No hospitals...please Dan.." She coughed away from her brother and then went back to cuddling him. Why did she have to get sick? This was absolutely unnecessary. "If it gets bad...I know a doctor who will make house calls okay?" She was talking about Cas of course. She actually had no idea if that was true, but it was better than going to the hospital. Abigail just refused to do so.

Image

Cordelia should have just told him what she wanted because now if seemed like he really wouldn't listen. The death stare was scarier than usual now that there was pure emotion behind it. She sat back a little and just watched him go off on her. The angel was waiting to be physically thrown out of his office, but that didn't happen. He just pulled her up clearly suggesting that she left, but that would defeat the purpose of walking in here. The head angel neared the door and shut it. She turned the lock and leaned against it. "If you were number one on my hate list, I wouldn't have picked you. That spot is specially reserved for your father." He was like third or fourth, but he wasn't number one. "And all I did was give you emotion so that you could actually feel bad for half the shit your father does!" Cordelia gestured to her wings and they flapped a bit. "And I chose you because you already have a problem with this. So I..." This was much harder than Cordelia thought it was going to be. "I need your help to put an end to all this. Eradicate the disease and free everyone."

Image

Roman was quiet as Leon continued to put on clothes. But when he stopped, the older male was waiting for him to walk out. But he didn't. Not right away. He neared Roman and he sat up. He made eye contact to understand what the younger male truly meant. "No matter how much I want to... I can't." That threw Roman off. He had so many questions. So much begging he needed to do. But Leon didn't give him the chance. They shared a deep kiss that felt like the last time. Leon broke it off and Roman was going to grab him but the younger male ran out. When the door shut, Roman punched the wall next to him. Never has he been so confused by another person in his life. He didn't know what to do at the moment. Roman wasn't going to bother Aidan or Abby with his problems so he stood up and got on his work out clothes. He packed his boxing bag and left his home. Ro jogged to the gym He needed to let steam off quickly. When he got there and set up, he started attacking the boxing bag.

Aidan knew she'd protest about going to the hospital. He hated them as much as she did, but he wasn't just going to let her be sick. Not to mention that he didn't know anything medicine or colds. Abby mentioned a doctor who would make house calls and Aidan immediately had a feeling he knew who she was talking about. He wanted to ask, and hoped that his sister would at least be honest. "You really like that doctor guy, don't you?" he asked calmly, getting the feeling that his little sister had grown up into a responsible young woman without his knowledge. he didn't particularly dislike Castiel, he didn't even know the man, which was exactly what worried him. He knew nothing about this doctor and he didn't think Abigail did either. Perhaps she's known hin longer than he thought and she just e never mentioned anything, which could be the case, but Abigail wasn't the type to hide things from him. Aidan was overprotective, yes, but he was reasonable. "How long have you known him?"

Image

Castiel watched, partly furious and partly amused as the angel closed and locked the door. A locked door was far from enough to keep Castiel trapped, and the angel knew that, but if it made her feel safer to do so it didn't bother him in the least. He listened, or at least tried to, as she explained her plan. She wanted him to feel bad? What kind of tactic was that. "I could care less what my father does or doesn't do. It's his mess, not mine". That's how Castiel originally felt, and still did more or less, but if he had to be honest, he almost did feel bad for the humans that were being tampered with. The god took in a deep breath and leaned against his desk, his anger beginning to simmer down into just a simple annoyance. "If you wanted to put an end to this then you should have gone to the root of the problem" he said matter-of-factly. Of course if getting someone to feel remorse for what was being done to the humans was her plan then she wouldn't have gotten very far had she chose her father. "According to my dear ol dad, I'm useless, so I suggest you find someone else.". He got to his feet and walked to the door, slowly towering over her. "And tell your friend to be more careful if he's going to go around kissing human men." Castiel only knew about that because someone else had spotted Leon and had come to him first, and despite his apathy towards them, he took it upon himself to erase that angel's memory. Still, he'd never admit it to Cordelia.

Image

Leon had landed on eden and fought as hard as he could to keep in the tears. It didn't help much, in fact not at all. He made it to his room in tears. He reached his room and say of the bed, his eyes burning from the drying tears. After managing to calm down the slightest bit he began searching for his phone. Panic quickly overtook him when he remembered what the last place he had seen it was. And if he remembered correctly, the phone had no kind of lock. He found himself hoping and praying that Roman wouldn't find it, or at the very least that he would refrain from looking through it. In that phone were private conversations between Leon and Cordelia was Castiel, about their plan, about the council and more recently about Roman. Now Leon was at a stand still. He didn't know where Cordelia was and had no way of finding her, and he couldn't just return to the mainland to pick up his phone after leaving Roman the way that he did. His only hope was that Cordelia was back on the island and that if he continued walking around for long enough he'd find her. After forcing himself to his feet he quickly changed out of the suit from the night before and into another more casual one. He combed his hair back, grabbed a pair of sunglasses and headed out in search of his best friend. Maybe she'd know what to do about rhe phone situation.

Abigail coughed a bit more and continued to cuddle with her brother. Her brother asked about Mr. Perfect and she smiled. Her mind drifting to the kiss only for a moment. "Three days including today." That wasn't a very long time, but in those three days she has spent a lot of time with him. Abigail sneezed and rubbed her nose. She wasn't feeling better. If anything after taking the medicine she felt worse. Her body seemed heavy and she was ready to fall into a deep sleep that she wasn't sure she would wake up from. Her nose was completely stuffed up and her throat was scratchy. She could only imagine what her fever might have been. "Dan..." Abigail didn't know what to do. On inside she was panicking, but on the outside she could barely move. "Call Cas." She absolutely hated when her brother was right. Especially about being sick. Its like he knew she would need a doctor. No matter what, he wasn't taking her to the hospital. Abigail would fight with her weak body before she was dragged there. When Abigail coughed again it was much worse than when she had started.

Image

Cordelia was a little less worried than she was about being injured by the God, but she was still afraid. Castiel didn't know how to control the emotion considering he doesn't even know what it really is. He babbled on about how he doesn't care about what his father was doing. But the head angel knows that if it happened to Abby he would rip his father in two. Then he mentioned how Cas was pretty useless. The head angel rolled her eyes and leaned against the wall. The second in command was trying to get rid of her. That wasn't going to work. She had come to far to start over. "And tell your friend to be more careful if he's going to go around kissing human men." Cordelia raised her eyebrow. Leon and Roman were kissing! She got really excited, but then she calmed herself down. She would deal with Leon later. Right now she had a plan that needed to be carried. "Look God. I don't care if Daddy has no use for his son. You are still a council member which means thats eyes and ears on the inside. And since you already have problems with your father having you rebel in the council room wouldn't be a shocker." If Cas did something stupid the council members wouldn't be shocked. "Also. If it wasn't for me. You wouldn't even be with Abby."

Image

Roman attacked the punching bag. It was getting to the point where he was ripping the seams. But he didn't let up. Leon's words were stuck in his head. He was so confused and hurt. He wanted Leon back, but then again he needed the space to think. Roman would have to call Dan about this later. But right now he needed to calm down. Hit after hit. His emotional state was the same. Tears were flowing down his face due to the emotional overload. Roman gave his final blow to the bag and watched it fly back towards the wall. He took a moment to breathe before getting a new punching bag.

Aidan could tell Abigail wasn't getting any better, in fact she was getting very sick very quickly. He had never seen any cod quite like this. Less than thirty minutes ago all she had was a light sneeze, and now she was sneezing, coughing, her voice was beginning to fade and Aidan was almost certain that she had a high fever. Abby suggested that he call that man she seemed to like so much and though he wasn't thrilled about the idea, Abigail refused to go to a hospital and he wasn't going to force her. "Okay" he said simply and grabbed her phone. He searched for Castile's name, which he still very much remembered, and pressed the call button. After several rings the answering machine picked up. Aidan sighed. Of course he didn't answer. He had one other option. He could only hope that Cordelia had her phone on her. Had grabbed his own cell and typed out a brief yet alarming message.
[To Cordelia]
[From Aidan]
[Abby showed up with a light sneeze about 30 minutes ago, now she's coughing too and has a bad fever. What do I do?]

He hoped she'd at least know of a medicine he could get for her.

Image

Casteel was done playing nice. The angel insisted on talking, but he refused to listen. She mentioned Abigail and he felt something in his stomach turn. With a glare, his hand flew up and grabbed onto the angel's jaw, forcing her to look at him as he spoke. "I don't like your tone" he almost hissed. He was still her boss after all. Where did she get off talking to him like that? "I don't remember you introducing us, so unless you have any more pathetic and useless reasons as to why I should help you, I suggest you get the he'll out of my sight". His eyes were as striking and cold as ever as he let her jaw go, lightly shoving her against the door. Emotions or no emotions, Casteel could care less about the angels, the council or the humans for that matter. Another ridiculous excuse from her and he wouldn't hesitate to kill her. That much hadn't changed.

Image

Leon roamed the streets of Eden island for what seemed like an eternity. He should have been focused on finding Cordelia, but his thoughts were still back on the main land, with his cell phone... and Roman. Maybe if he just... no, he couldn't. He couldn't go back under any circumstances. If he went back there, there was no guarantee that he wouldn't spill his guts out. He could put himself and Roman in danger. Not to mention Roman probably wanted nothing to do with him right now. His best choice was to stay there on the island, or so he told himself. 15 minutes later, however, he was on the mainland yet again and heading towards Roman's house. Why? Why was he so weak. He kept telling himself to go back, but his feet wouldn't listen and took him right to Roman's porch. After knocking several times he guessed he either wasn't home, or he saw it was Leon and didn't want to open. Maybe it was sign that this was a bad idea after all. He leaned against the door and stared at the sky as a few minutes flew by, then pushed himself upright and began to walk down the steps.

Abigail felt as though she was fading in an out of consciousness. Her body felt the need to sleep, but her mind was trying to keep her awake. Now she had a pounding headache from the internal battle. She coughed again, covering her mouth. If Abby coughs up a lung she would not be happy. Neither would Aidan. She couldn't tell if her brother had called Cas or not, but she just needed someone to fix her. Abigail closed her eyes and just tried to drift off to sleep. She tugged the covers over her face so that Dan wouldn't be exposed to her cold. The last thing he needed would be for him to get sick.

Image

Cordelia realized she might have overstepped a boundary or two. Especially when she brought up Abby. And the give away was when the God grabbed her by the jaw. If he was capable of being severely injured, she would have severely injured him just about then for grabbing her like that. She pushed towards the door and she glared at him. Well at least he was stuck with emotions so she gets some form of entertainment out of this. Watching him suffer. She needed to go and find Leon on. There was scolding and celebrating that needed to be done. But before she could step out of the room, her phone vibrated. When she read it she knew exactly what was happening. This was a blessing in disguise. Before she left she showed him the message. "Abby has been infected." That was all she felt like she needed to say. Either Cas would go and get her. Or he would let her die. Of course Cordelia wouldn't let that happen. She would go and get her. Turn into an angel. It would be the only way to keep her alive. But she couldn't go home. Cordelia flapped her wings and left Cas' office.
[To: Aidan]
[MSG: Alright. I will be over there as soon as I can. Just make sure she stays conscious.]

Image

Roman was done beating up punching bags. He cleaned up the mess he made and left thirty dollars on the counter to pay for the three he broke. He felt much better afterwards, but he was still thinking about Leon. The whole point of the gym was to help him forget. Roman shook his head and started on his walk home. As he neared his home he saw Leon. Standing there. Roman was really hoping it was a trick of the light. But the closer he got the clearer the image. Why was Leon there? What was he waiting for? Leon started making his way down Roman's porch and Roman made his way up to Leon. "Why did you come back?" His tone was a bit shaken. He wasn't angry with Leon just confused by him.

As if Aidan wasn't worried enough as it was, Abigail seemed to be getting worse by the second. Aidan had no idea what to do. Casteel wasn't answering his phone and Cordelia had yet to reply. Something told him this wasn't just a normal cold. He decided to risk it and looked up the symptoms. Every result he got in return was the same and it terrified him beyond belief. This couldn't be true, not Abby. He hadn't heard much about the Angel Disease but he had heard that it was fatal, and that was more than enough for Aidan to begin freaking out. He couldn't tell Abigail though, the last thing she needed was stress or worry. Finally his phone buzzed and it was Cordelia. He sighed in relief and read the message. It was definitely worse than he thought and it appeared that Cordelia already knew that as well.
[To Cordelia]
[Okay... please hurry. The door's open]

He felt bad for asking her for help already, but he was at a loss for what to do. She said to keep Abigail conscious and that's what he'd do until she arrived. "Abby...Cordelia is on her way. I called Casteel too and sent him a message, he should be coming soon". That wasn't entirely true, but maybe it would give her the energy necessary to stay awake. He only hoped that the mysterious doctor would eventually respond.

Image

Casteel was fed up with Cordelia, but she seemed to have given up and was ready to walk out the door. Something stopped her though. A message? Casteel read over it carefully as the phone was being held up to him and something inside him snapped. Why Abigail? She was so innocent, she wouldn't hurt a fly. She didn't deserve this. They had gone too far. The rage bubbled up inside him twice as string as before. Not even when he was fighting with his father did he have such a need to rip someone's head off. He grabbed his cell phone and jetted out of his office, kicking the wall on the way out for good measure. Within a minute or so he had caught up to Cordelia and even passed her a few seconds after. One thing led to another and eventually they were both walking through the front door of the Lancing's small house. "Abby??" not a second after Cas called out for her there was a cough that came from one of the rooms, followed by Aidan's voice telling them where they were. Casteel followed the sounds and rushed through the bedroom door.

Image

Leon was almost home free, but on his way out Roman arrived and suddenly, he forgot why he was even there in the first place. They stopped in front of one another and Leon could swear his heart would rip out of his chest. The look on Roman's face..it hurt him more than anything. Mostly because he knew it was his fault. Roman asked why he had come back and Leon didn't have an answer. Not an honest one anyway. "I left my phone" he muttered, not even trying to make it seem genuine. There was a lingering moment of silence and then Leon suddenly couldn't hold it in anymore. Small tears rolled down his cheeks and he stared at the ground in silence. He couldn't just leave again. Roman deserved an explanation. At least part of one. He deserved to know how Leon felt about him. Even if they couldn't be together, he needed to hear it from Leon himself. There were so many things Leon wanted to say all at once but his voice didn't seem to want to come out. He opened his mouth to speak, but was immediately overwhelmed by tears. He was a mess. A complete and utter mess who was embarrassing himself in front of the guy he cared so much about and he couldn't even get the words out to explain why. He just stood there, crying silently and staring at the ground. He barely managed to get the words out, only because he was certain that it's how Roman felt at the moment. "You must think I'm so pathetic...".

Abigail coughed again and went back to hiding under the blankets. Her vision was blurring up a bit. She felt as though she was losing her ability to see, but she didn't say anything. More like she couldn't. Her voice was hoarse from coughing so hard. And the blurred vision could just be because of the headache. Aidan said Cordelia and Cas were coming. She nodded. Hopefully they get here soon. It would be nice to see Mr. Perfect. Or try and see him before she fell asleep.

Cordelia was off towards Abby. All she could do now was grab the girl and bring her back to Eden. Anything more that could be done would need the presence of a God. Just then something whizzed by her that sent Cordelia spiraling in a circle. When the angel steadied herself, she saw that it was Cas. Giving her wings one hard flap of her wings she caught up with him. She wondered what he was going to do for her. He couldn't turn her into an angel in front of Aidan. And he couldn't cure her. That was illegal. But she didn't say anything. They landed in front of the Lancing's home. Cordelia followed Cas toward's Abby's room. She was covered up by the blanket, but when she heard Cas' voice she stuck her head out. "Cas?" Her voice was almost nonexistent. Abigail looked like she was in the second stage of the disease. Her eyes looked over to Aidan. He seemed fine so hopefully the God's didn't get him too. She walked over to Aidan and pulled him up out of the bed with his sister. "We have to give Cas room."

Roman scoffed a bit when Leon said he returned to get his phone. And here the older male returned to apologize and be with him. Ro doesn't even know where the phone is, but Leon is given full permission to look for it if he must. Roman had his keys out and fiddled with them for a moment. He needed to let them both into the house. So Leon can get his phone and run away again. When he looked at Leon, he saw tears rolling down his cheeks. He was chocked up about something. Something important, but the younger male wouldn't just spit it out. "You must think I'm so pathetic..." That isn't even close to what Roman thinks. He would never think Leon was pathetic. "No. I just think you are confusing." Which was true. Leon wants to be with Roman, but can't. Acts mean towards him, but was vulnerable with him. Then he always finds reasons to leave. Roman has been confused since he decided to get tangled up with him. "Let's just get your phone and then you are free to make up another excuse for why you need to leave." Roman walked pass Leon and unlocked the door. He left it open and dropped his bag near the couch. Roman went to his kitchen to get water.

Casteel felt his heart sink when he saw Abigail. How could they do something so horrible to someone so innocent and kind? Case had trouble controlling his rage, but he had to swallow it for Abby's sake. Once Aidan moved away from her, Casteel took a set beside her. He had a plan. He knew the council wouldn't like it. He knew he was breaking the rules and he knew his father would have a fir but he just didn't care about any of that. All he cared about was Abigail and the fact that she had to get better. He decided to play along with the doctor card and placed a hand on her forehead. She was burning up. He left his hand on there for a few seconds. He slowly let his power surge from his body to hers and course through all her gains. That's all it took to cure it, thankfully, since she still seemed to be in the second stage. Of corset he couldn't just do that and say she's get better. That would be suspicious. He dg into his pocket and pulled out a small bottle of purple liquid. "Have her take this again tonight before bed" he explained to Aidan, completely ignoring Cordelia's concerned look. He knew s was aware of what he was doing but he honestly didn't care what she thought ether.

Aidan just nodded to Castile's instructions and watched as Case asked Abigail to open her mouth a but and let a few drops of the liquid fall into her mouth. He had never seen any medicine quite like it, but then again this disease wasn't quite like any other either, and considering Casteel and Cordelia were experts in this department, he had to believe that Case knew what he was doing and would help Abigail somehow. The doctor seemed confident that she would get better, so Aidan put on his best optimistic face and believed it too. "Thank you...for coming". He said both to her and Cordelia. Casteel just nodded in response, his undecided attention still with Abigail.

Leon stood still for several seconds after Roman went inside, and then followed. He didn't even bother to wait for roman to give him the okay. He simply walked into the man's room, picked up hiss phone and walked back out. He noticed the small flashing green light and navigated to his messages. Something told him Cordelia wasn't happy with his absence. He quickly typed a reply before Roman noticed he was back and hit send. Hopefully his friend would understand what he meant.
[To Cordelia]
[From Leon]
[Sorry... stuff that shouldn't have happened, happened and I panicked and left... I need to fix it.]

After putting his phone up be quickly walked to the kitchen door, leaning against it a little. Roman was expecting him to come up with an excuse to leave, but Leon was trying to think of an excuse to stay.

Abigail smiled lightly at Cas when he came to sit next to her. Parts of him was blurry, but she continued to smile at him. He was so pleasant to look at. He put his hand on Abby's head and she closed her eyes. A sneeze escaped her. "Sorry for not getting better." She whispered. Before Cas had left Abby earlier that day he had asked her to get better and she did the exact opposite. After that Abigail just let him do what doctors do best. She didn't move or squirm or complain. Of all the doctors she has had, Cas was certainly her favorite. She wasn't going to complain with him around. Soon after the drops Castiel had placed on her tongue she was feeling better. Much better. But it was also making her a bit sleepy. Hopefully after this, she would be able to take a nap. Mr. Perfect got up and left Abby's side. She frowned and shifted a bit. "No..Cas stay.." Her voice barely above a whisper. She was still hoarse due to her coughing. She would be shocked if the love of her life even heard her. Abigail yawned. In a few moments she was going to fall asleep.

Cordelia watched Cas and knew exactly what he was doing. On the inside she was completely panicked, but she couldn't let Aidan see that. He would start asking questions. Questions that Cordelia couldn't answer. Isn't allowed to answer. What Cas was doing wasn't horrible. It was wonderful. After a few hours of sleep, Abigail would be on her feet in no time. But the council will kill her and him. The council always believed that she was up to something. And because she was here, this would definitely tie into her being up to no good. When he finished Cordelia glared at him for a moment. He was going to get them both killed. She looked at Aidan who looked extremely grateful. "It was no problem really. We should go so she sleep." Cordelia hooked Aidan's arm and gently pulled her out of Abby's room. Then she looked over him. "How are you feeling?" She heard her phone buzz and she decided to put it off for now.

Roman sipped his water and watched Leon walk into his room. That must be where his phone was. When the cup was empty, he washed it and then put it back in the cupboards. He turned around to see Leon at the kitchen door. Waiting. Watching. Roman was waiting for hear something about him needed to leave. Or apologizing and leaving. Or even kiss him and leave. But he was waiting for Leon to walk back out that door. But Roman wasn't going to push him. "Why can't you?" Roman didn't mean to ask that. He didn't even really mean to speak, but he wanted to know. Why Leon couldn't be with him. Why Leon always had to leave. It was killing him not to know. Roman thought he was being played around with and he didn't like it.

Aidan watched, still filled with worry, and smiled softly when Cordelia pulled him aside and asked if he was alright. He nodded, not entirely sure what she mean by "alright". "My stomach is back to normal now" he assured her, stealing a quick glance at Abigail and Castiel. "I'm worried about her, but your boss seems to know what he's doing and she's happy so..." he trailed off, leaving Cordelia imagine the end of his sentence. "Thank you" thank you"[/color] he said once again.

Casteel could already tell Abigail was getting better, just by the way her skin looked. Still, he hade sure not to make the liquid too strong, to keep from raising suspicions. Cordelia said they had to go and Casteel didn't oppose. He had a new mission to carry out now. Go back to Eden, bust through the council room's doors and bash in every single member's face, making sure to leave enough punches in for his father. Casteel was fed up, and this...this was the last straw. He headed towards the door to leave, but Abigail's plea made him stop. He sighed softly and walked back, once again taking a seat beside her. "I'll be back to cheek on you, I promise". He said in a soft and hushed tone as he leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Try to get some sleep, alright? Doctor's orders." Once he made sure she had drifted off to sleep and go to his feet, he walked out the door and past Cordelia. "Let's go" he ordered.

Leon watched him silently, still trying to come up with an excuse as to why he should stay, but he could only think of one reason and no matter how much he wanted to, he didn’t know if he was capable of saying it. Then, Roman asked the question Leon was afraid of. He froze and for once, he made eye contact. ”You wouldn’t believe me even if I tell you” he said quietly, fiddling with his thumbs. He knew that wasn’t a good enough explanation, but what else could he say. There was a short pause, and something inside Leon told him to continue so he did. ”There are people… that don’t like this” he tried to explain, gesturing to the two of them. ”To them… people like us are less than scum. They don’t want anything to do with us” Leon spoke, feeling like the words were hitting him for the very first time. He knew they weren’t true, but it didn’t make it hurt any less. He took in a shaky breath and continued to speak, his gaze still focused on the floor. ”I work for those people” he admitted, wondering if he was saying more than what he should. ”they don’t know the truth… if they found out, I’d suffer” he was nearing the end of his explanation and he could feel his hands shaking. In all honestly, he didn’t care of the council took him in as a slave. That possibility never even crossed his mind anymore. There was a new thought now that was much more terrifying. Possibly the only reason Leon ever thought about leaving Roman. ”If they find out about us… about you- you’ll be-“ his voice broke and then he stopped talking completely, his hands and knees shaking the slightest bit. He didn't want to finish that sentence.

Cordelia was happy to hear that Aidan was feeling better. Lord only knows what she would do if she found out Aidan was sick. She would force the council members to fix him immediately and then kill them. In that order. A smile came to her face when Aidan thanked her again. "It's no big deal really." The angel lied. It was a huge deal. She was trying to figure out what was going on in Cas' head. Why he did that so fast? She could only imagine the look on the council members face once they found out one of their victims was pardoned. The God walked by her and Aidan demanding they leave. The angel rolled her eyes and lightly pecked Aidan on the lips. "We will talk later." She gave a tiny smile then followed after her boss. Once they were out of sight of the house, she spread her wings and flapped them a few times. "Castiel. You can't kill them." She could tell by the look on her face, he was beyond angry.

Roman listened to Leon and instantly regretted asking. The younger male looked nervous and scared just to explain. The people who he was working for must have been the ones that did this too him. Being with Roman wasn't worth being in pain. He took a few steps towards the younger male and didn't force Leon to look up at him. He was already nervous. ”If they find out about us… about you- you’ll be-“ Leon stopped talking and it looked like he was going to hit the floor. That was when Roman tilted Leon's head up. "Calm down. It's going to be okay." He didn't want to witness another breakdown. He had already ignored the first one, but not this time. "I'm sorry I asked. I was just confused." The older male felt bad for forcing Leon to explain himself like this. He should have just respected that he couldn't be with Roman. "I don't think being with me is worth the hardship. If you want to leave I won't pursue anymore." Roman looked over him and then pulled him into a hug. He held him tight. He just didn't want Leon to freak out anymore.

Aidan watched as Cordelia gave him a quick goodbye kiss and followed Doctor Casteel out the door. He seemed angry for some reason. Furious even. Had he missed something. Aidan decided not to dwell on it too much right now and walked back into the room. Abigail had fallen asleep and she seemed peaceful. He pressed a hand to her forehead and it felt like the fever was already going down. Whatever that medicine was, it was amazing. He kicked off his shoes and crawled not bed beside her, making sure not to wake her, and made himself comfortable. It wasn't too ling before he fell asleep alongside her.

Image

Castiel's feet pounded against the pavement as he made his way down the street to an abandoned place where he could take off from. It wasn't ling before Cordelia caught up to him. He brushed off her presence and began to walk. "Castiel. You can't kill them." He scoffed as his wings began to appear, seemingly out of thin air. Unlike like the angels, the council could make their own wings appear and reappear as they pleased. "Why not? No council, no disease. Simple as that" he stated firmly. He saw no reason why he couldn't barge in and beat the life out of every single bastard in the council. There was one in particular he had a few things to settle with. "This is your fault" he said turning towards her. "You wanted me to have emotions well congratulations, I'm passed". It was fairly obvious he was fuming. There was no need for him to even say it. He turned back towards the edge of the building and his silky red wings spread out ready to take off.

Leon was shaking from head to toe, but he refused to cry. He had already cried once and Roman just brushed it off. Of course it wasn't like he didn't deserve it. Roman spoke and Leon could hardly register what he was saying. All he understood was that Roman was telling him he could leave. Before he could answer, he was pulled into a tight embrace and the lump in his throat only got bigger. Roman was making sure that Leon knew he understood. "I don't think being with me is worth the hardship. If you want to leave I won't pursue anymore." For some reason, that entire sentence, but mainly the last few words hurt Leon more than he thought possible. He didn't want that. He didn't want that at all. He didn't want to eave, and he didn't want Roman to give up on him. Leon couldn't speak for fear of crying, but he shook his head vigorously. To everything he was saying he shook his head. Roman needed to know how he felt about him, but Leon didn't know how to begin. "I don't care anymore..." he said quietly, muffled by Roman's shoulder. "Screw them... I'm not leaning". Leon was never good at expressing his feelings. He only hoped that Roman understood what he was trying to say. Being with him was certainly worth the hardship. It was worth that and much more.

Cordelia saw that Castiel was about ready to kill everyone in the council room and that was bad. Very bad. With them gone the earth would turn to mush. War would break out among the angels and then among the humans. Those who are infected would die immediately and Cordelia doesn't even know what would happen to the angels without the Gods around. She watched the angered God flap his bright red wings and she knew this was going to make even more mad, but she had to do something. He was already going to get them in trouble with his magical touch. The angel grabbed his wing. "You aren't going anywhere until you calm down." She tugged down on his wing so that he would be in the sitting position. The angels were strong, but if Castiel wanted he could just shove her back. "First. You aren't killing the council because the humans need them because they stabilize everything. The humans would be at war with themselves and lose their minds. Including Abby." And Aidan, but Cas didn't care about him. "Second. How the hell was I supposed to know that you would run off and fall in love! I just wanted you to feel guilty. Not start a family!" He was bringing up his feelings for Abby. That wasn't the only thing he was talking about, but it was the important one at the moment. "Oh and thank you for your stupid cure stunt! The council is going to have my head on a silver platter for that one and probably give you a spanking before putting you in time out." Council doesn't kill their own. They don't mind disposing of angels.

Roman thought he was saying what Leon wanted. He thought that by saying he didn't have to stay it wouldn't get him in trouble with anyone. By not pursuing him, Leon would potentially be freed. But the younger male looked devastated when Roman said that he didn't have to stay. It was like he wanted to stay. But the older male would not like to keep his hopes up. He was used to random excuses from him at this point. "Screw them... I'm not leaning". Roman looked over him and then smiled. "Good. It makes me sad when you leave." Roman would do just about anything to keep Leon happy and around. It was like he needed the boy to function. Then without another word, he kissed Leon. Roman kissed him like they haven't seen each other in years.
