It's the year of 1999, and summer is barely starting. The days are hot in North Carolina, but the weather promises late nights and the occasional breeze.
The last day of school has come around, and most of the juniors have similar issues on their mind. The future, love, friendship, and most importantly summer parties and tons of fun to be had.
It seems as if many are ready to try new things, as well as reconsider what they thought they knew.

The Best Friends
The two have been best friends for a long time, and do almost everything together. Tobi tends to adventure and try new things, and FC Hayden Panettiere tends to look out for her brest friend, but also enjoy the fun times they have together. FC Hayden Panettiere is responsible, and caring, but will she let go for a night or two to have the time of her life with her best friend, who seems to be wildly loving life?

They've been dating for almost three years, and Brody is convinced his girlfriend Julia has only liked him for two of them. He's a senior, but he failed too many classes to graduate this year, so he'll be repeating with his girlfriend. Recently he hasn't felt the need to even go to school or get out of bed for that matter, because he's a bit bummed about both of those things. Julia loves her boyfriend, but finds it hard to figure out if she's still in love with him. For the past few weeks she's been going to his house trying to get him to go to school, but has been discouraged in trying with him as he thinks she's pulling away. In reality, he's unmotivated because he believes she doesn't love him, and she's unaffectionate because she's frustrated with his lack of trying. She's the best friend of FC Barbara Palvin

The Disfunction Couple
No one really knows when they started, but ever since FC Drake was kicked out he's been living in the basement of FC Barbara Palvin. Her mother is a bit clueless, and hasn't noticed him for months now. FC Barbara's optimistic personality keeps her from changing anything with her boyfriend though he takes her for granted and doesn't seem to care much about her. There's no proof that he's ever cheated on her, because if there were she promises she would break up with him. Most of her friends try to talk her out of it, but something keeps them together through the conflicts. She's the best friend of Julia.

FC Imogen Poots doesn't want anyone to know, and is trying to do what she can to 'keep people unsuspicious'; while Emmy is tired of hiding and gets jealous over the boys FC Imogen Poots uses to 'cover up', especially FC Ash Stymest. Both seem to love each other, but the struggles of their secret can make things tense between them.

The Brothers
FC Ash Stymest is one of the juniors, while his brother graduated a while before. He's easily known as a drug dealer, but this is because he sells whatever his brother gives to him to distribute. They could probably get any kind of drug you wanted, but mostly they smoke a lot of marijuana and they're both often found stoned driving around in FC Ian Somerhalder's car. FC Ash Stymest has had his eyes on FC Hayden Panettiere for years, but she's always been a bit distant from him because of his drug habit. He and FC Imogen Poots have hooked up a few times, but the both don't seem very interested in each other. FC Ian Somerhalder is a huge flirt, but has a small obsession with Emmy. It's nothing dangerous at all, and she is completely uninterested even though he tries.

The Others
FC Max Irons doesn't care about much more than partying and his friends, though he does well enough in school. He's been best friends with Brody since they were kids, and he often tries to cheer his friend up by bringing him to parties. He and FC Shia LaBeouf are also buddies, but it seems as though FC Max Irons is friends with everyone. FC Shia LaBeouf has a reputation of being with a lot of girls, though whether it's the truth or not is a mystery. The boys in the grade below him look up to him, as well as the girls, but he has his eyes set on dating a particular senior. He knows she's out of his league, but something about her makes him want FC Barbara Palvin.

They're fun most of the time, and are trying to find their place as new high schoolers. FC Brie Larson is very smart, has straight As, and has never failed a test. But, she doesn't see the need to go to school at all, and doesn't care at all of what her parents tell her. She is the sister of Julia. FC Dakota Fanning has always wanted to grow up fast, and with her best friend she doesn't like rules much either, though she goes to school.
