Introduction

Welcome to Exas, a beautiful world where everything truly is not what it apears to be, where monsters from both myth and nightmares exist, a world where evolution, genetic adaptation, and enhancement run wild.

There are many different species that thrive here, Humans, Fae, Gorgon, Drakon or Dragon-kin, Demon, Angels, Nephilim (creatures with atleast half of their dna of angelic descent), Hellspawn (creatures with demonic dna), Vampires, Werewolves, ShapeShifters, Witches, Elemental Beings, and more. The Creator rules over and protects All, and the Devourer is the End of All, under them are all the Gods and Goddess that once ruled Earth, The Elemental Counsel, The Reapers, The Gaurdian Order, The Counsel Of Immortals, below them are the governments and Royal Families and then your ordinary Citizens.

Our story begins in the City-State of Central, a massive and ancient walled city, its population ranges somewhere between 10 to 15 million people. An oppressed peoples live here, The Creator ruling through fear, manipulation, hate, and death, the Gods running wild and unchecked, countries attacking the outer walls on a daily basis. We must work together to change this world and bring about peace while also making a life for ourselves, a hopeful future for all.

Before the spell even finished casting, Raak and his team detonated small magic pulse charges, designed to counteract magic. As soon as the interference fields fell, each was cloaked with their hybrid technology doing its best to remain as undetectable as possible.

As the fight began to drag on Grimnir lost his temper. " Fine you want top play hard ball let's play!" Grimnir's scythe disappeared and he began to glow with Lunar Magic. " Stage of the Moon: Second Stage, Stage of the Half Moon!" Grimnir gained claws fangs and slit glowing white eyes. On top of that his tail and ears perked out the fur turning a glowing white. Suddenly he was gone and behind the so called messenger. " Try and dodge me now "BOYO"!" Grimnir would slash with his claw with enough force that it tore up the ground in its wake if he would collide with the man he would be launched into a nearby wall if he missed the ground would certainly have seen better days and most likely crater with sufficient magnitude to crack the surrounding foundation.

If further anger came to Grimnir he would proceed to his Full Moon Stage second only to his final form. In his full moon stage his strength and speed would increase significantly. He was wary to waste so much power on this Messenger person so he was wary of this person's skills.

The Creator walked with gleeful interest, a warrior whose fury and ferocity were unmatched, a talent for high speed combat, a perfect opponent for Marius, and a great addition to the Syndicate.

"HA, good job keeping up but I'm not the one ya' should be chasing aftah, He is!" The Messenger said as he pointed towards a awning at himself. The one that Grimnir was paying attention to was just an after image and the real Messenger had set up a trap. "Heaven's Chalice: Shine down ya' radiant light, burn away my enemies and cast out all darkness." he shouted with his hands glowing and pointed towards the sky. Beams of golden and white hot light began to etch themselves into the ground below him and covering a space of 40 yards, the lights were creating a massive spell circle with a small circle in the center flashing, it was trying to draw in energy, light and warmth, to create a holy beacon of light that broke through the clouds and sending shock waves across the sky.
Silence fell upon Central as the beam began to dim, and an object slowly descended from the Heavens. A goblet, no, a chalice, was coming down to Exas, it glowed and shimmered with a warm golden color. The chalice was made an unknown white substance, with gold trace work and glyphs all over it. The Messenger dove for the Chalice sending a massive field of light mines out as he glided across the street from his perch. "There is no way he can defeat me! This minefield will tear him to shred and the Chalice will end this." he thought with a great smirk smearing across his face.

"ENOUGH!!!!!!" The Creator boomed, his hands outstretched. The the light-mine field and chalice both dissipated. "Boy, I am the father of all, the shaper of this Universe, your ruler, The Creator; come work for me, you will have power greater than anything of our wildest dreams." He pontificated as he descended from his vantage point, on a disc of golden light. He out streched his hand one more time and pointed it towards Grimnir, with out any effort at all he began to stripe the warrior of his transformed state returning him to his semi-human form.

"Yep." the Drakonian said with a dance. "I'm like half humane."

"ACHOOO!!!!" Leila sneezed loudly. "A field of some sort has displaced me from control of your body, UGH!!! ARGH!!!!!! LET ME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!" Lillianna spoke deep within her thoughts. "Good, stay inside for a while!" Leila replied.

"Yip!" a small voice came from where Marius was once standing. "Yip yip, arf!"

"It's a puppy, OMG, he's so adorable!!" Leila shreiked as she pulled the pup into her arms before it could run away.

"Would you put me down, wait, how are you holding me? Why did you call me a puppy?" Marius's voice rang in Leila's thoughts.

"Well, whatever sent Lillianna inside must have disrupted the magic you use to sustain your borrowed form. Hmm? I wonder where it came from though?" She said as she held on to the pup, looking around and noticing that the very village had gone completely silent. "Umm, Hidan, was it, what kind of magic can you use? We need a wind spell as well as a transformation spell for Marius here."

Raak looked among his team. The magic pulse charges all seemed to be working fine, except for the one that the center-most soldier was holding. That would explain why his sensors where still picking up magic, but not a lot. The other pulse charges remained active, barraging the magic users with round after round of counteracting pulses. Only time would tell whether or not they would even notice the eight men spread around them.

Sitting in an old tenement building, Arom watched the Messenger and Grimnir fight. "I know what you are going to ask, no there is nothing I can do to stop him. He is following the path that he is supposed to be on. Yes, we are still meeting for cheesecake and tea, it will be you, Moan, Xanatos, and I expect you to be on your best behavior, Allen." Arom said in to a small phone. "I've got to go, the fight is abpout to end, The Creator has neutralized all the attacks!"
