ImageAs Rosalina continued her chatter the voice of Scarlet once again starting to speak, Now you want to join our conversation. "Does it look to you like just anybody that damn pleases can work here?" The attitude in her voice seemed to most likely come irritation. "So far yes." Scarlet wasn't the nicest person Grey had met so far, but at least she was honest. She didn't seem to put up a fake persona like Grey knew the others probably were. "I mean, what am I suppose to think? I know no one here but myself, and I don't do much." With one of her few honest statements so far she tried to remain calm at the sharp way she was being spoken to. Glancing over at Rosalina she seemed to agree the behavior was odd.

"everything that you need..." Her tone radiated boredom as well as her bodily language. With the pause she looked away from Grey causing her to look over her shoulder. More people to the party. When watching the people leave the room and made her wonder how many people had been in this large area. From them all looking like they all contained some confusion she decided they were probably brought her too "is in the room you woke up." It sounded like Scarlet had said this many times before and had no feeling to want to say it again. Grey had been in her room, but she hasn't explored like everyone else, that had been the least of her worries when she wake up. "Thank you." Was her quiet replied from her questions not being answer in the detail she had been hoping for, but the reply explained enough she guessed. "But I'm sure most of you have noticed that by now." Gazing back at the others she noticed how fresh most of them looked while she still looked like a wreck in her mind. She was wearing a purple tank top and black skinny jeans from work that she had had that night. She didn't look completely and utterly a mess, but she could have looked better. She could have taken a bath and done her hair before going to meet the Benefactor. Grey didn't care how she looked overall, but she still wanted her new employer to think she was a good new addition if she decided to stay. Hopefully I don't stick out as the one who hasn't bathed. Maybe I'll have time to go before meeting him, I hope so.

"All right... that's it." Delivering her attention back to the annoyed Scarlet Grey smirked And I thought people annoyed me. People normally very annoying to Grey, they talked when no one cared, the were self-centered, and so many different negative things. A majority of people were fake though like Grey was herself. She acted like a completely different person when she was around others, she didn't do it to be sinister or anything, she just didn't want to appear different. The new character she had created was modeled after her old self after she had died mental, so in a way she wasn't Grey anymore, but someone else. "I am not giving any explanations until everyone is here." And with that Scarlet left the man that had been talking. As she left she gave her a small wave that wasn't acknowledged.

"That was odd." Rosalina began to speak after the departure, so in return she got some of Grey's attention. "Yes, I would say so myself." Flipping her hair back over her shoulders she began walking back to her room backwards, "I'm going back to my room until they return, when they come back would you come get me?" Rosalina returned a helpful smile.

Turning around she walked into her room shutting the door behind her. "Now it's my turn to explore..." There were three other doors besides the one she entered: one to the left wall and one on each side of the bed. Picking the closet one to her, the left one. The door was metal but warm to the touch Odd. With the twist of the handle and gentle pull back hidden behind the door was a master kitchen. The side she had entered had cabinets and the sink, in the very middle of the room was a glass square case that reached the ceiling with silver dusted plants within it and a floral design on the outside. To the right of the room was the kitchen table that was illuminated with blue glowing lights. Walking over to another metal door she assumed was the fridge she opened it to find food, drinks, Alcohol!Image She was oblivious to what was in the bottle, but she couldn't careless. Pulling whatever it was out she popped the lid off and stuck it into her mouth. This is the best alcohol I've ever had! She couldn't help but keep a consistent flow of drinking. It was sweet, but the right amount of bitter as it flowed across her tastebuds. If anything she would stay around just to keep getting whatever this was. Dancing around some she realized she had drank the whole thing. Oh well. Placing the empty bottle on to the table she excused herself from the room and went to the door that had been to the left of the bed on the wall.

The bathroom. The bathroom had a very futuristic touch to it like the kitchen had, but she simply could not complain. Everything in the bathroom was so open and flowed together so well. Eyeballing the shower she got undressed, turned it on warm, and then got in.

Her shower had been quick, but needed. Grabbing a towel that had been hanging on a rod she wrapped it around her as she left the room. So the last must be the closet. Going to the only door she had left she was disappointed to see that it wasn't a walk in, but an empty closet with just one outfit and a body mirror on the back wall. At least I won't get overran with stress trying to pick an outfit to meet the Benefactor. Trying to think on the bright side she dropped the towel and put on the clothes waiting for her. First she put on a black plain push up bra and matching black panties followed by the slick tight fitting black dress. Looking in the mirror she noticed how much it showed off her curves Not to bad. Picking up the dark grey jacket she examined it and felt the softness the put both of her arms through the sleeves, buttoning the single silver button she through black flats onto the floor then slipped her feet in. "Wow." She said looking at herself, she hasn't seen herself look so pretty in years, "The Benefactor sure knows how to pick out clothes."

Returning to the bathroom she began to blow dry her hair that naturally fell into big curls. When done with that she looked at herself, took in a deep breath, then walked back out into the hallway over to Rosalina who was lingering kind of close to a boy (Alton) With the both of them seeming pretty silent she plastic a smile on her face and walked over. "I'm Grey." She told the boy holding her hand out.

Fiona watched as the group continued to grow and one more girl introduced herself as Rosalinda. Taking note to remember her name, she gave her a small smile before returning her stare to the environment around her. Not long after that a man walked up and addressed the group of young adults; “Hey ladies and gentlemen, I’ll be with the ladies in a moment to escort them to the Benefactor and the men will go with our lovely Scarlet. However, it seems that I need to make sure the little fox doesn’t run scot free. I’ll see you all in a bit and sorry but there is no elevator!” She raised an eyebrow as he said there was no elevator. Not that she would take it, she had a small fear of them and it never killed anyone to take the stairs. And again came the awkward silence on her end with the look that seemed judgmental. After that Scarlet told the group to stay put and she would be back soon, Something came up... stay here, Nick will be back soon and so will I. You will soon meet Sylvester... I mean... The Benefactor. You may want to get to know each other seeing that you'll be living together from now on When she walked away, Fiona looked again at the group seeing if there was anyone who interested her enough to go up to them and say something. After which, she smiled outwardly knowing she wasn't about to go up to anyone.

So, she just listened into a conversation between Rosalinda and another girl, who Fiona gathered was named Gray. And by the looks of it Gray seemed a bit annoyed with the other blonde of the group. And frankly, Fiona would to, knowing full well that if she went up to Rosalinda she would hear the thick British accent and say something on the lines of “Oh my gosh, you're British. Say something else.” or something like that like most people heard her speak for the first time. But that of course, was an assumption. And assumption was maybe why people thought that Brit were so goddamn self-absorbed and conceded. Something she wasn't going to let people believe she was. Not here where she was suppose to be able to 'start over and regain her innocence' She watched as a few more men joined the mostly female group. But one, seemed to a little pissed off from the others. “What bite him in the arse?” [ass] She asked herself before watching the boy Makoto go up to the man and try to, what seemed like introducing himself. Not that it went well seeing that the man said; “And I don't like you. Fuck off.”

She left out a small scoff before turning back around, rolling her eyes. “Someone is obviously in a smashing mood.” She said softly before fixing her hair and looking on her phone seeing if she had any messages from her family. Knowing full well that her roommate at her university probably called one of her brothers saying she didn't come home from her protest after taking the "shortcut' through an alleyway that wasn't far from her dorm room. Looking she saw three calls from her brothers, one from each and two text from her young sister. Asking where she was, was she okay, what the Hell had gotten into her for disappearing off their side of the world. She quickly knew that she had to tell one of them that she was fine. But she wasn't about to talk to any of them around people she didn't even know or even seem like she was going to like for that matter. So she had to settle on sending her sister a text saying that she was fine and not to worry. And she'd be home soon. Once sending it she sighed, not knowing if that was the truth or not. She just needed to ease their worry... Hopefully it worked... Probably not.

The soft feeling beneath Aradia's slowly awakening body is slightly foreign to the young woman, who has grown up sleeping in small, cramped areas where it would be more difficult to find her, or on a stiff bed that is far older than she is. The softest place that she has slept is the pile of clothing on the top shelf in the closet that is within the living room of her family's small, rather poor quality, apartment, and that isn't really luxurious. Not like what she is on right now, a large and soft bed with fluffy pillows and a down comforter keeping her warm. It is because of these foreign feelings that she knows something is wrong the moment that the young woman awakens. She is not the sort who lumbers around, disorientated, for a while after waking up- once she has become conscious once more, the young woman cannot go back to sleep for several hours, possessing a general feeling of uneasiness for the rest of the day. Perhaps the only thing that has been able to rid her of this feeling, to date, was her friend, Hailey, but even the comfort she received from that girl had been short-lived, as it was replaced by a cruel sort of jealousy.

The girl sits up immediately upon realizing that something is wrong, only to look around at a dimly lit room, everything about it unfamiliar. Her mind is screaming of danger because of this, because all she remembers at the moment is having left the house last night after accidentally killing her mother in an attempt to protect herself. The reality of that action hits her with greater force than the fact that she is in an unfamiliar room, and a sick feeling overwhelms her, prompting the girl to immediately curl over the bed and vomit into a trash bin that had been on that side. Her head is light, probably because she hasn't eaten for around two days, and despite the heavy comforter that is still over the bottom half of her form, she can't help but feel a great chill running up and down her body like a hyperactive child dragging a sharp icicle behind them as they dart around. Aradia clasps her own arms, hugging herself, to try and rid herself of the chill by rubbing her hands against her arms quickly. The room is of a comfortable temperature.

Aradia begins to stand up, but bumps her head against thin cloth just above her. The girl frowns, but makes herself small as she gets off of the bed, pushing past a thin cloth that is, most likely made of sheet material. I'm going to jail. Or I've been kidnapped, she thinks to herself, suddenly collapsing against a wall as the wave of dizziness returns, and her vision clouds over. As though the memories have ridden that wave back into her mind, she begins to vaguely recall the events of last night- those after she had run away from the house. There had been a man, talking about something. . .a second chance? Then, nothing. Oh, god. I've been kidnapped. Am I going to be sold as a slave? Killed? though these thoughts should be entirely negative, for a moment the last one sounds sweet- she has tried to take her own life before, after all. But the shiver returns, running down her spine, at the thought of someone else being the one to take her life. She might welcome death, but only on her own terms.

I have to get out, she thinks, her hand finally reaching a doorknob, which she turns and swings open, only to find a bathroom. Her mouth is already tasting sour from the vomit earlier, but it becomes even more bitter as the hope falls. Still, she quickly flicks on the light switch and rushes over to the sink, which she turns on and begins to drink greedily from, cupping water into her hands and taking long drinks from it. It helps to wash away the foul taste in her mouth, at least. There is no mirror in the bathroom, and so she remains oblivious to her unkempt appearance.

With the illumination from the bathroom, she is able to get a better look at the room, this allowing her to see that the cloth that had stood in her way in fact was sheet. The bed she had woken up on is draped over with sheets in a manner reminiscent of a better version of a child's sheet fort. Surprised by the sight of it, she reaches out down the wall and finds the light switch, flicking it on. The light illuminates a room out of her dreams, with a large bookshelf on the other side of the sheet-fort bed. Nothing of her own possession can be found among the furniture, as Aradia had never owned very many things. What captures her eye most of all is a beautiful cello, which leans elegantly against the bookshelf. She would run to the shelf immediately, if it weren't for her cynicism, which holds the young woman back.

At the moment, she is still wearing the clothing that she had been the day before- dark denim shorts with pain stains on them from the previous owner, and an over sized shirt advertising some band that she had never listened to in her life- none of these pieces had been purchased new, of course. Her feet are bear, but she sees that her shoes are next to the actual entrance to the fort bed, placed neatly side by side.

She goes to touch her face for signs of what had knocked her out, but realizes that she would simply mistake them for the bruises her parents had left yesterday. As expected, a touch to her eye makes her flinch, and she supposes that it is black. Her instinct is to find something to cover it up with, but being in an unfamiliar place, she instead pulls her hair out of its braid and parts it to completely cover the black eye. There are more bruises on her arms, but she finds that bandages have been placed over the cut on her face- one that is likely to scar, she supposes- Aradia hadn't been able to dart quickly enough. There is also a wrap around her left leg, which had been cut at as well, making it look like the limb of a mummy. She isn't accustomed to bandages that she hasn't done herself- it is somehow more unnerving than being in a strange place, this act of aid.

Aradia rushes over and slides her feet into the pair of shoes, before going over to the door and swinging it open. She never sees the letter on the bookshelf, or checks to find the closet containing clothing she had never been capable of owning before. The cello sticks in her brain, and on an impulse, she turns back and places it in the case beside it- there is no way she's going to sneak out of this place without such a treasure.

Cello slung over her back, Aradia begins to walk down the hallway, only to find several people gathered there already. Before she can say anything, there is the wave of dizziness again, but as she is about to slam into the wall, the girl twists so that her front hits it, protecting the cello but hurting herself further. She peers back towards the gathering once more, and her eyes widen suddenly at a familiar face.

"Hailey! What are you doing here?" she says, voice soft as she rushes over towards the familiar girl, looking around at the other people suspiciously. She has obviously missed a lot, and can only look about at those present in suspicious confusion. Looking at them, she is suddenly hyperaware of her black eye and the bandages and bruises that are easily exposed by her shorts and short-sleeved shirt. Aradia brushes her hair right over her eyes before addressing Hailey once more, "Do you know what's going on?"

A lot was going on, more people were flooding out of their rooms and approaching the group. She took note of people's name and managed to keep a shaky smile on her face. When one girl ran of she pushed her hands over her ears, hating the fact that someone could be so upset at this place. This place wasn't that bad... right? "Chill out Hailey it's just some emotional girl." She heard Penelope's words in her ears even if they were covered. She inhaled deeply, closing her eyes momentarily. "Hailey move your hands from your ears. You look like a freak when you do that." Penelope was being harsh to Hailey and it made Hailey tremble a little with anger. "Move your hands Hailey!" Penelope spat at her and Hailey let out a long breath. "Shut up, shut up, shut up." Hailey whispered to herself, closing her eyes even tighter than before. Hailey sighed softly, sliding her hands off her ears and glancing around at the group. She hadn't even noticed one male running off after the girl who was crying. What she did notice was that Makoto had left the group and was walking towards another male. She rose an eyebrow, wrapping her arms around her and dropping her gaze momentarily to the floor.

She didn't know what to do right now so when the Absent Minded part of her kicked in she hadn't realized why she was just staring at a wall. Lifting her head she looked over at Makoto once again, sighing softly as she turned away from him and looked at Fiona. She smile brightly at her, hoping she hadn't noticed the episode that she had there momentarily. "It's nice to meet you Fiona." She told the girl kindly then sighed softly. She looked around, suddenly wanting to take a walk. "I'm going to go looking around, so I'll see you later." She told Fiona, and started to walk away. She tightened her arms around herself as she walked away from Fiona, Makoto, and everyone else. She half debated whether or not she should just go back to her room so that she can relax just a little.
Image
While walking she rubbed her arms, sniffling a little as she walked. Now it was completely setting in what was going on. Upon rounding the corner she shook her head of any bad thoughts. "You know you really should turn around and get to know some of these people." Penelope reappeared once again. Hailey groaned angrily and turned her head to look at the imaginary Penelope walking beside her. "You can't keep doing this Penelope. I want to seem normal okay? You've got to quit butting into my life. Aradia knows that I talk to you some times, but I don't want people to think I'm a freak when I talk to you then flip out." She whispered, and her response from Penelope was a roll of her eyes. "I'm just saying." Penelope grumbled in the girl's ears. "Well I'm just saying that you need to butt out. If I go talk to someone will you stay out of my business for even just a little while?" She asked in a hushed tone and smiled a little when Penelope nodded then vanished.

She inhaled deeply then turned around and hurried back to the group of people, hesitating as she neared them she noticed one girl who really popped out at her. Aradia! Hailey skidded to a stop and gasped before smiling happily. "Hailey! What are you doing here?" She faintly heard Aradia say to her. "Do you know what's going on?" Aradia addressed Hailey. At this moment Hailey was overwhelmed with happiness. She couldn't believe that her best friend was here with her. "Aradia! I'm so glad your here. I really have no idea what is going other than we were allowed a second chance or something." Hailey told her best friend honestly. She shrugged then thought for a moment, "Wait didn't you see the letter in your room? It should have been some where near your bed or something. I mean it was for me." She said then noticed that Aradia had her Cello with her. Cool! She had been glad that Aradia had her Cello with her because she knew Aradia was really good at playing it and Hailey loved listening to her play it.

Zeus sighed, standing there and kicking at the ground because honestly there was really nothing better to do. He had no reason to go see how the girl was that ran off and he had no reason to really talk to someone when it seemed that mostly just females were out and considering he isn't too much of a fan of females he knew it was just a good idea if he just stayed put where he was. He only glanced up momentarily when a male walked in from the stairwell and a male passed by him to greet the other male. Of course the male who appeared from the stairwell obviously had some kind of chip on his shoulder. He knew this because as soon as the male who actually had a smile on his face greet the other male he instantly responded to his hi with: "And I don't like you. Fuck off." Damn, that was actually pretty rude. He thought then shook his head. "Well wasn't that rude." He commented with a small sneer. "Obviously someone has a chip on their shoulder that they should lose." He mumbled to himself as he looked down at the ground once again. Never once did he take kindly to people being mean to other people. Especially if they didn't deserve it, for some reason his protective side of him ends up coming out for some weird reason. Finally he decided not to do or say anything more. It wasn't his place and he preferred just to stand here until they got further instructions on what they were going to do.

((OOC: Sorry my male is so short I just didn't know what to do with him right now.))

Novia didn't even bother to look up as the young man that reeked of nicotine came over and went on with his botheration, explaining quite rudely how annoyed he was with her crying. She made many observations from the few words, her mind immediately kicking into gear to break down her analysis at an impressive speed. He was a stressed smoker with an abrasive and rude persona. A quick glance up and she sniffled, taking in his appearance before ducking her head back down and feigning the remaining sobs. Apparently this abducting business had occurred only to those who had fallen on hard times. A smoker with a short temper, possible sociopath tendencies, and somewhat thin and sinewy musculature and rebellious appearance brought her to her first assumption that he was an addict, but if she chose to remain, she would do more follow-up observations as to best exact her vindication for such treatment.

Her feigned sobs died down as a new voice joined the conversation. A much nicer man...but. Why was he talking about an elevator. She gave a final sob, though she choked on it through a soft giggle. “Wh-Why...What elevator? Where did that even come from?” Was he mental? It was honestly so random that she could not help but laugh. She didn't know why it was so funny – Maybe slight hysteria was one of her coping mechanisms for such a situation. She wasn't sure because she had never been this out of her element or without control in a situation. She always adapted so quickly to her situation and talked her way out. But this was something new. Either way, she coped and simply laughed about the elevator, honestly pondering how the hell that even came into the conversation.

She glanced up more as the rude guy left before turning her gaze to the guy who introduced himself as Nicholas. “I'm Novia...I assume you already knew that.” She took the offered handkerchief as she pushed off her hood before dabbing at her eyes. “I'm not going back in there until you answer my questions. What is this place? How do you know about me? How much do you know about me? Did you or anyone else sexually assault me while I was unconscious? Thank you very much for knocking me out, by the way. How did you know where I lived? Where's my car? How long can I stay here if I choose to stay here? And what's the catch?” She was still slightly uneasy but she had to ask questions to get answers. After all, the closed mouth doth not get fed. Her green eyes flickered towards him as she pressed her tongue habitually against the bar piercing her lip. She could feel her hands curl into fists in case she heard something she didn't like and needed to bolt.

The possibility of this situation being genuine and the so-called Benefactor being sincerely concerned for these abducted people...well. It was slim, but honestly. With her current situation in life, what did she have to lose? She couldn't say that she wasn't interested in what this “Gift of Innocence” was. She was also highly curious as to how the selection process worked. And if every one of the others were fucked in life as she was...Oh, they would great test subjects and an absolute joy to observe and take notes. Mmm. An adventure would be nice.

Daniel watched the contained chaos with amused interest. Two girls seemed to have had a pre-existing relationship while the others were just skipping about socializing. The rest of the guys mostly stood around on the sidelines, confused but not poking around, while the grungy smoker took some heat for bitching at someone. To Danny it was all very amusing. He enjoyed people watching more than anything, and if this wasn't just perfect for it, he didn't know what was. He leaned back against the wall with a casual tilt of his head, his line of sight moving from one clusterfuck of people to another. One had disappeared back into her apartment, there was a dude trying to corral, and his flame-headed mystery lady was still standing just a few feet away.

When his text tone went off in his pocket full blast, he cursed a little, turning it down as he looked at the screen. I thought I put that damn thing on vibrate, Daniel assumes. But then again he probably unconsciously turned it off in the car coming back. Not that Daniel cared, he usually always kept it on full blast. He just didn't want all the negative attention that was on Grungy Smoker man to be aimed towards him. This lot seemed like a sensitive bunch.

It was a text from Dick, of course. Dick was the only one he ever usually texted. He unlocked his phone, taking him straight to the message, and he almost burst out laughing.

Pics or it didn't happen

Daniel thought about it and decided Fuck it before going to his settings and turning off all sound and his flash. As casually as he could, he held his phone up, angling it so it looked like he was texting. He quickly tapped several times on his screen to focus, pokerface engaged, and got the perfect shot of the fiery vixen standing across from him. He quickly sent it to his brother, lowering his phone to his crotch. As expected, Dick texted him back right away.

You son of a bitch!

Daniel grinned and the fact that it pretty much looked like he was grinning at his crotch whilst he did so made him nearly laugh aloud. He would've sent his brother a reply but something moved in his peripheral. The scrawny Asian placed a kind smile onto his face as he approached the same guy Daniel had sung to just ten minutes before. Oh, I have GOT to see this, Daniel mused. "You seem a bit down.” The Asian kid said, offering that really friendly smile. "I'm Mack.” Bullshit, Daniel laughed to himself, watching the Asian kid stretch out his hand for a handshake.

Grungy Smoker man simply glared at Mack's outstretched hand before allowing his cerulean gaze to narrow at Mack's face. "And I don't like you. Fuck off.”

Ouch. Harsh.

Daniel sighed as the Asian kid practically pouted, Looks like it's Dan to the rescue. Seriously, who could just sit back and watch this guy be sad? Daniel walked up and wrapped his arm around the kid's shoulders, smiling down at him. “Hey buddy! I've been looking everywhere for you." He looked right at Grungy Smoker man and put on his best flirtatious smile, and said, “See you around starshine." Daniel sent the Melancholy Mary a wink before turning away with this so called 'Mack'. “So Fu-Man-Chu, what's your name? And don't say it's Mack, because we both know you shortened that shit." He heard the kid stumble for words and he chuckled, turning to face him with his hands shoved in his pockets. “Come on Jackie Chan, no need to be shy. This is a happy place." Daniel quickly tried to think of a way to make him more comfortable so he decided to copy his previous gesture. With a friendly smile he held out his hand, offering it to him in friendship. “I'm Daniel, by the way. Daniel Brennan."

"The hell." Noah groaned. He held on to his head like someone was beating at it,"Dammit." He waited for a little while before opening up his eyes and looking up at the unfamiliar ceiling and sighed. "That's it. Never trust strangers." Looking around at his surroundings he smirked. "Hm, I take that back." Running a hand through his messy dark colored hair. He had wondered where the hell he was and how the hell he ended up in a placed like this. He wasn't worried, he wasn't sad, he was confused, and absent minded about the situation he was in. "Why the hell am I here and where the hell am I?" This was far from looking like a cheap hotel room but, it was close to an apartment so he assumed so. Looking over to the side, he grabbed a letter on the nightstand next to the bed and started to read the letter.

"Gift of Innocence?" Nodding, he looked around once again,"So, I'm staying here. This is kind of cool." He slammed the letter back on the table and decided he'd get up and try to figure out what this gift would be. When he got up completely his head had started to spin which meant he got up a little too fast and stood there until the sick feeling stopped. "I need a drink." He said in an uncaring voice. He didn't care about the sick feeling but, he needed to drain it with something. Opening the door out of the bedroom to the living room and kitchen, he went into the kitchen and looked for something to drink. Finding a few things of alcohol, he took one of the bottles and opened it. A few minutes later he had finished the drink and threw the bottle in the trash.

Sighing he ran his hands through his hair a few more times before he started walking towards the bathroom. It was up to date and everything. Man, who ever did this deserves a trophy. Noah thought. Walking back to the bedroom he got out some clothes and went ahead and took a shower. After he was finished showering he put the clothes he picked out on and put his shoes on. Deciding that he should check what was on the other side of that door. Opening up the door to his apartment, he peeped his head outside to look all directioons before fully walking out the door and into the hallway.

Sighing quietly as he walked up on a group of people wondering if they had experienced what he had. Guessing so' he smiled,"Hello strangers." Shoving his hands inside his pockets, he leaned against the wall using his back as the support.

Makoto's downcast eyes with on his sneakers as he tried to think of a way to bounce back from being brutally slammed down. "Okay... he said in a tone that expressed his growing nervousness. He was about to turn his back on negative man when someone wrapped their shoulder around his arm. He almost jumped out of his skin, “Hey buddy! I've been looking everywhere for you." The stranger smiled as if they've known one another for years. Maki furrowed his brows, looking at him in confusion. "I...I don't know y... He was immediately interrupted. “See you around starshine." He continued, eyeing the rude man, who simply sneered as a response. “So Fu-Man-Chu, what's your name? And don't say it's Mack, because we both know you shortened that shit." Maki was pulled away from the gloomy figure and ushered further down the hallway. “Come on Jackie Chan, no need to be shy. This is a happy place. I'm Daniel, by the way. Daniel Brennan."

"My...my name is Makoto Oshiro," he stuttered. His eyes flickered to Daniel's, lips pulling into a tight line as he surveyed the man's face. He wasn't sure if he should be offended or amused, so he settled for a raised brow and confused stare. "A pleasure?" He clasped his hand around Daniel, allowing a small smile to grace his face. He wasn't sure how to feel about Daniel, but he concluded that he'd be seeing him a lot. "Thank you, for helping me back there...It was really nice of you."

Image"You look so pretty, Grey! I didn't know you knew how to dress!" Rosalina was shocked to see Grey the way she dressed, she actually looked like one of the most put together people now, a business woman to be more exact. "Well, I didn't actually put this together, I was the only outfit in my closet." Rosalina squinted her eyes, puckered out his lips, and then tapped her right cheek. "Maybe you can't dress so they're trying to help you!" As she spoke she over exaggerated her Hispanic accent over her British, "Oh, and I'm Rosalina." Telling the boy that Grey had introduced herself to. "Welcome strangers.""Another person!" Her voice was cheery to the voice that had entered behind her, Sounds familiar. Shrugging her shoulders at the thought all her hair flipped to the left as she looked over her shoulder to see who is was. Noah! Rosalina quickly reached out and grabbed Grey's arm squeezing it tightly. With huge eyes she looked up at a wide mouth Grey who was about to speak. "That's my ex." Telling her before Grey had the chance to speak.

Rosalina had no clue what to do, she hasn't seen him since he left What the hell could he have lost? She could understand she receiving something for a lost, but not him! He always did whatever he wanted without a care in the world, but because of him she had lost so much: her home, her money, her family, and so much more. Once in her life she had loved him with every amount of her being, she would have done anything for him, which she did. She started doing drugs and drinking and even ran away from home, something she had thought was the best thing for her, but now she knew better. In her mind they were going to be together forever, that he loved her as much as she loved him; she was wrong. He was self absorbed like all other guys in bands, all his fame went immediately to his big fat head. Noah had become all about himself and what he wanted, she just became his second best.

She had wished she had left sooner and had been the one who broke it off, but she had loved him and had hoped that their love would help work out all their problems; it hadn't. Never really getting an answer why he was leaving she assumed he wanted better or something new, but all she did know was it left her heart broken and broke and alone.

"Sorry." Letting go of Grey she noticed a red spot she had left, "Sorry." Repeating so she glanced between Grey and Noah. "I'll be right back." Her voice sounded elsewhere as she turned away from the two with a deep breath of unsureness. You'll be living with him... again, so be peaceful Rosalina. Walking over to him she arched her back and tried her best to give a smile. He looked rough and edgy like the last time she saw him He's still sexy... "So you got brought her too I see." See looked over his whole body as he rested against the wall, he seemed so laid back like he had got kidnapped before. She didn't know what to say to him, well she did, but this wasn't the time or place and she wanted to be civil. "It seems like you have changed to much." It was both a statement with a pinch of her joking causing her to give a small awkward laugh. When he left she was hoping for better, but he still looked like the band member with dark hair that he was to lazy to fix. After he left her she was on the bottom, a girl that was always drunk and would do anything for drugs, but in the past few years she changed her ways and started building her way back up for herself. "I'm now working as a fashion assistant at a big fashion industry, if I'm lucky I'll be designing soon." He might not of cared, but she wanted him to know how she's made it after he left, how much better she was without him now and how he still seemed like shit. "I hope everything's good for you too."

Harper was about to turn around and make her way to the stairs to go call The Madam when the guy from the ally came running down the hall. “Hey sorry Scar, I had to help a couple of your guys. They looked so confused. Hopefully they followed me…” She slowly arched a brow, glancing behind him to see if anyone had. "I'm Hailey," came a soft voice from behind her. She turned to see a petite, softspoken girl. "I'm Makoto, but you can all call me Mack or Maki. It's nice to meet you." The Asian boy that was placed in a room not far from her own. “Hello?” A confused looking guy from the other side of the hall. He would be dubbed 'the slow one', in Harper's book, for the complete look of utter confusion on his face.

As she was glancing him over, she noticed something red on his arm. She was going to shift for a better look when another voice caught her attention. “I'm Fiona.” Like Harper, the girl seemed to be sizing everyone else up, unable to resist being judgmental of the rag-tag bunch. "Hello everyone, I'm Rosalina." Dubbed, 'the princess', just because she looked like a Barbie. "I'm Grey." This was the girl that was freaking out when Harper originally came out of her room. Harper's eyes softened on the girl. She knew what it was like to wake up in an unfamiliar place, without something you really need or wanted.

“Hey ladies and gentlemen, I’ll be with the ladies in a moment to escort them to the Benefactor and the men will go with our lovely Scarlet. However, it seems that I need to make sure the little fox doesn’t run scot free. I’ll see you all in a bit and sorry but there is no elevator! By the way, the Benefactor mentioned that there was a girl that would be needing some medication. I told him I would be honored to give this to you.” Nick, the many from the alley, handed Grey her medication- what she had been desperately in need of, and then took off after the dark headed girl who had taken off for the stairs moments before. It seemed as though all eyes had fallen back onto Scarlet, the ill tempered and agitated red head.
"I am not giving any explanations until everyone is here," the woman said stiffly, and then briskly made her way towards the stairs as well.

Harper's mind drifted back to the previous apology. No elevator-- did that mean they were not on the ground floor? Were they in some sort of hotel, or mansion or... Her mind trailed off, distracted by another sudden outburst. "Hailey! What are you doing here?" "Do you know what's going on?" "Aradia! I'm so glad you’re here--" Harper's mind clicked off- completely uninterested in what either of the girls had to say to each other, or anyone else. With a small eye roll, Harper started to walk back towards her room, a small ways away from everyone else but still on the hall. She pulled out her cell pone as it was vibrating angrily in her bag. "Yes? Yes, Madam. I know that. I know I said I would-- but something came up! It's not my fault! What? I don't know where I am and they won't tell me! Madam, please! No!" Tears swelled in her eyes, but not tears of sorrow- tears of rage. Her free fist clenched into a ball angrily as she listened to her employer slander and threaten her. After a pregnant pause from her, and a moment of cussing and yelling on the other end of her line, Harper hung up.

Nick needed to hurry up and get back, because The Madam was pissed and she couldn't lose her job. It was all she had in the world- her place to live, how she got food and money, her connections.. it was everything. The sad thing was, though, even if she did leave the building- she had no idea where she was. For all she knew, she was in a different state-- or worse, a different country! With a frustrated sigh she wiped the tears from her face and stood up straight again. She would stay and hear out The "Benefactor"- whoever that was, and then make her decision from there. Even still, worry clawed at her stomach. She was risking everything and it spelled doom for her life in Michigan if she didn't figure things out soon. Of course she didn't want to go back to that life- but what if what this crazy rich dude was asking for was something far worse? Like her first born child, or slavery? The note had seemed innocent and wonderful enough but... she couldn't be sure. She couldn't trust a note. Harper licked her lips and pulled her hair nervously to the side, looking down the hall at the small group of people. Could this really be a fairy tale come true for all of them?

He thought it was a little better not knowing anyone and he hoped he didn't just jinx himself. "So you got brought here too I see." Looking over at where the familiar voice was coming from. Well, I'll be damned. He jinxed himself after all, he couldn't help but, smile. She looked better, healthier, he was pretty happy to see her. Well, one side was happy to see her, the other side wanted to run away and hide his face, or at least try to.

"Yup, I still have no damn clue as to why." Being a bit surprised at how she had managed to get unhooked from all of the stuff he had put her through. But, even after he left he never did stop, it was impossible for him. Whenever he had tried he would go crazy without drugs or anything. "It seems like you have changed to much." He smiled again,"Ha, me? No. Now, you? Yes." Looking her up and down, this was one of his fears at play, seeing someone he used to be with. He didn't like the feelings that came with it.

Hating how all those bad feelings he felt after he had left her came back to haunt him. "I'm now working as a fashion assistant at a big fashion industry, if I'm lucky I'll be designing soon." Noah made a that's good face, he actually tried to mean it. "That's good, I'm happy for you." He is still in a band well, he was. He didn't know where this place would get him, and he didn't know if any one would go looking for him. Probably no one since, he practically pushed all the people who loved and cared about him away. Just because, of his bad habits and lifestyle. It was very sad but, true. "I hope everything's good for you too." Noah thought about it for a little bit, and everything wasn't good for him. "Everything's going fi-." No can't say that.. He couldn't say fine because, nothing was fine. He decided to shrug,"Everything's managed."

Yeah, he's managed living life knowing that nothing would come good out of it but, drugs and partying. He was still a mess, and he's barely managed to admit that. Hell he wanted to just forget all the wrong he had done so, he wouldn't have to realie a damn thing. But, if this Gift of Innocence would help him figure that out. Then so be it.

Image"Everything's going fi-." He quickly cut of. "Everything's managed." She smiled at him starting over, At least he didn't lie. "I've changed some, but I still do some of the stupid things you've gotten me into." With a smile she continued. "Drinking is fun, partying is great, and the hang overs still suck." Another awkward laugh slipped up her throat and passed her lips. It was strange telling him that some of her old lifestyle still remained, but she had the feeling to tell him so she did. "That's actually how Nick found me. I had just left a club near my home and in a drunk state wondered into an alley where he afford me help." That was pretty much the same way she had met Noah. One night when she wanted to have fun from her good girl lifestyle she had snuck out and went to a concert he had been playing at. She had gotten drunk and some man was hitting on her and wouldn't leave her alone so Noah had come to her rescue, and ever since that night she had loved him.

Loved. The thought want as beautiful as it once been, it was a bittersweet sensation for her to think about now. Glancing down at her hand to see her tattoo that said endless love it made her honestly smile from the memory it came from. Of course she had gotten it when she was with Noah, it was the first tattoo she ms ever gotten, and boy did it hurt like crap. At first she was afraid to get it because of the pain, but he talked her into it telling her whenever she saw it it would remind of him, which it had. Seeing the tattoo always took her back to the trailer she had been in where she got the tattoo for free from one of his trashy old friends that was rumored to have overdosed a few months ago. Over the years she had even thought about getting it removed, but for some reason she couldn't, she just couldn't let go of her mental bond with him.

With a silent laugh she looked up at him and began running her fingers through her hair, a habit of hers when she was nervous. "Since you haven't changed much I assume you're still traveling, which must be fun." Gosh, we were always moving. When they were together with him being in a band they were always on the road and always moving, to her it was both good and bad. She loved to see new places and do new things, but she did miss the consistency of having a stable home to always be in. She hated the tour buses or other moving vehicles they'd stay in for some time, at first it had been fun, but the fun went away quickly. "I remember the trips we use to take."pause"for the most part they were fun." A majority of there trips consisted of getting high, drunk, and partying, but there was good times. Like once they stayed close to a beach and they both skinny dipping together at midnight in the moonlight; it had been a very fun night. As she thought her smile faded away into the sorrow of losing it all, the realization that he was here infront of her hit her hard and she began to sob without meaning to. She couldn't help the flow of tears, they just rushed from her eyes like a flood from a water fall. I love him so much and he couldn't careless! Her love for him was still deep inside of her, but she knew he could careless, she just knew it. She began to cough and choke on the air as she sobbed and then her knees gave out causing her to fall to the floor. I'm sorry! She thought and tried hard to say, but couldn't get the words out.

Nick chuckled as the girl introduced herself as Novia, assuming correctly that he knew. ”Guilty as charged!” Nick thought smiling. After taking the offered handkerchief and removing her hood from her head, Novia asked a plethora of questions one after another, refusing to go back until she was answered.

”Woah woah woah!!! Slow down miss! One at a time!” Nick joked laughing a bit until he decided to answer all of them.

“Well let’s see here, I’ll try my best to answer but the Benefactor would know a bit more than I would,”Nick assured her. Admittedly, he had taken a peak at the Benefactor’s records at times to get to know the new staff each time, though it seemed the Benefactor never caught on. However, Nick could only take peaks every now and then, so the Benefactor still knew more information about the things Novia asked than he did.

“About this place, you are standing in the grounds of the famous Gift of Innocence Corporation! It was established by the Benefactor’s father though it wasn’t called the Gift of Innocence Corporation until close to thirteen years ago. If you mean the area you’re in, this is 962 Valor Drive in Willowstone, Connecticut, a town surrounded by woods that is still developing but growing!”

Nick stopped for a bit to clear his throat thinking to himself, [i]“Eww… I sound like one of those enthusiastic tour guides. I better get more serious..”

He continued with more of Novia’s questions saying, “I do know about you because the Benefactor does try to brief Scarlet and I so that we may be able to accommodate you as much as possible. Not only are we your recruiters but also your guides and guardians. Hmmm, as for how much I know about you let’s see..” Nick took a pause to think back to what the Benefactor’s said about Novia as well as the extra peeks at her file he took notes on.

“Novia…age nineteen, female of course, half Cuban and half Irish and having some sapiosexual tendencies given your attraction to the intellectual. Hmmm you’re a very naughty girl you know, stealing, gangs, and other illegal things, though I’m sure you don’t want to hear much about that again. I’d rather focus on your good side. I hear you’re quite the intelligent one and a good performer. I like the smart girls. They have much more to say than “Oohs” and “Aahs.”
Before answering the next question, Nick gasped at the thought of a sexual assault on any of the girls, especially by him! He would never do something that stupid…never commit to something like that…

“Of course not! I can assure you that no one, especially me, has sexually assaulted you during the time you were unconscious!” Nick said a bit defensive. “Oh no problem, it was a pleasure to knock you out. If you hadn’t there would’ve been much struggle and too much wasted time. Speaking of which I must hurry these questions. We don’t want to worry the Benefactor or keep him waiting. But to keep it brief, I found out your address through the Benefactor who had instructed me to come and get you there. Your car well, that I don’t know. You’re already contracted to stay here according to the Benefactor but it’s a good place so don’t worry about it. The catch…”

Nick had to think fast about the catch though he wasn’t sure what to tell Novia. “I guess the catch is that you’re here to help people and you may or may not want to?” Nick said shrugging his shoulders. He had worked here for quite some time and have seen heartwarming and melancholy events unfold but didn’t really get a chance to think about what catch there may be except for his condition which was more personal to him.

“Anyway, I think I have answered all of your questions. Will you accompany me with the others? I met most of the girls before I ran after you. They seem like a friendly bunch as they have already started conversing and introducing each other. The guys I think are alright too…except for that really rude guy earlier but you know, probably went through something rough as the others. What do you say? Same situation, people who have screwed or been screwed up by life just like you, and a way to turn it all around without the police or anyone else questioning it? I think that’s a pretty good deal to me. Besides, I’d love to see more of you around, Novia.”

Nick ended with a warm smile trying to comfort the lost girl as much as he could. He then stood up and offered his hand to her for helping her up.

Aradia takes a brief moment to survey those who are within a relatively close proximity, and is surprised to find that many of them look as though they have recently showered and put on fresh clothing. Were she not still confused and afraid about where she is, the girl might feel more self conscious about her old, battered clothing and unkempt hair. Unlike others here, she had not calmly adjusted, taken a shower, dressed, and acted as though everything was absolutely fine- her reaction had been to escape, not to make herself look nice or to clean her skin. There is still a dull taste of vomit in her mouth, much diluted by the water in her sink, and the bruises on her body are sore, something she hadn't really realized until now, having been rushing around. Now, she is eerily still for a moment, looking around with quick eyes before turning her attention back towards Hailey, whose face has lit up with the sight of a familiar person. While this does ignite a bit of jealousy, seeing her so innocently and freely happy, it is dulled by the fact that she is the only familiar person here, and provides a sense of security to Aradia. Of course, not many people are really familiar to Aradia- they are just faces she's seen and names she's memorized- names that haven't the slightest clue as to who she is, other than the fact that her parents are the biggest drunks in town.

She shifts the cello on her back slightly, hoping no one will realize that she had stolen it out of her room- she had never owned her own instrument, after all. Hailey is trusting, and probably thinks that this is a rental from home, or that her parents had some uncharacteristic spout of kindness and scraped together the hefty sum in order to purchase one for their only daughter. "Oh. A second chance? What makes them think we need one of those?" she says defensively, but this does sound familiar- her memories from last night piecing themselves together. While she is quietly glad for the idea of a second chance, she doesn't want to make it clear to Hailey that she is discontent with her life, and finds it difficult to understand why anyone would want to give someone like her another chance. Hiding her hope behind cynicism, the young woman frowns, mind running a thousand miles per minute.

"Besides, why are you here, then? Everyone loves you," she says softly, unable to hide the bitterness in her voice. After all, she's only ever seen the love that Hailey receives from her foster family, and the way that she always seems to be so cheerful and trusting. Because of this image presented to her, she can't imagine that Hailey has any real problems besides the ones in her mind, and those haven't stopped her family from adoring the girl. This is likely what has really prompted the cruelty out of Aradia- Hailey's foster parents aren't even her real parents, and yet they can be so kind to a girl with such problems, while her parents, her blood, parents, refuse to accept their once completely normal child. The only other major problem she's ever heard about with Hailey was an attempt to hurt herself about a year before the two befriended each other. It was the incident that drew Aradia to the girl, who she thought as a kindred soul. After all, she'd attempted to hurt herself multiple times- and succeeded in a few, though the final act was never successful.

Aradia frowns at the mention of a letter, which she had never seen. Then again, she hadn't spent a good deal of time in that room, regardless of how dreamy it had been. "A letter? I guess I didn't see mine- or they didn't give me one," she muses, voice soft as though she is more speaking to herself than to Hailey. The girl looks up and sees others milling about or leaving, one woman in particular walking off and beginning to speak desperately into a cell phone.

The young woman tugs slightly at her hair nervously, wondering about what must be happening in her family's small apartment right now. She can practically see the yellow tape and detectives looking at the body. If she hadn't run, it could have been self defense- maybe it still could be? Of course, her father may very well testify against her, but everyone in this town and the next knows that he is rarely able to even remember his daughter's name. I'm going to hell, she thinks, religious only in this certainty.

Fiona was by herself mostly, not really wanting to go up to anyone. And by the looks of it, no one wanted to come up to her which was fine for the time being. Everyone probably just need to get used to being in this place. So, until that time came the Brit just kept looking at her phone, deciding on texting her parents to tell them she was completely fine and they had no reason to worry. “Knowing them, they probably already called the police.” She sighed and looked at her phone before dialing the number and putting the phone up to her ear. Every time it rung, she became more nervous and she didn't even know why she felt that way.

Maybe she was afraid of her parents scowling her over disappearing and leaving her studies, maybe she was afraid what they were going to do to her horses, or maybe she was just nervous over the fact that she was in a place with complete strangers with no way to know what was going on. She blocked out the noises as she listened to the ringing, knowing this was probably their way of getting back at her. “Hello, you have reached the Kingsley residence. We apologize for not answering your call but if you leave your name, number, and a brief message. We'll get back to you as soon as we can.” She sighed and rolled her eyes before leaving the message; “Hi mum, hi dad. I just wanted to tell you that I'm safe and everything's fine... I'll call you again as soon as I can. I love you both, tell Daisy I love her too. Bye.” After hanging up the phone she let out another sigh before putting her phone away.

“It's nice to meet you Fiona.” Looking up, Fiona made contact with a girl who's name was Hailey if she remembered correctly. She smiled back at the girl, noticing her London accent and nodded. She wasn't alone after all! “The pleasure's all mine.” She told her before looking back at the girl as she spoke again. “I'm going to go looking around, so I'll see you later.” Before Fiona could answer the girl, she walked away. Fiona first raised an eyebrow before shrugging it off. “Always a pleasure meeting new people.” She looked back at her phone, that is until she heard someone shouting on their cell phone. Which of course, made her curious. When she looked, she saw a girl that she wasn't able to catch them name of but she looked frustrated and a on the verge of tears. So, Fiona gathered up her courage, put away her nerves and walked up to the girl. When she walked up to the girl, she cleared her throat and spoke with worry in her voice. “Hi, my name's Fiona. Are you okay? You seem rather upset and I wanted to make sure you were alright.” She told the girl with a small smile on her face.

Harper had just finished straightening herself up when a small, doll-like girl walked over to her. Without meaning to, Harper's eyes were already sizing the female up. Not too tall, lanky, small chest, looks like she's never seen a real hard day's work in her life, probably never had sex-- the innocent type. All of this in a matter of seconds, and with a blink- it was over. "..I wanted to make sure you were alright,” the girl was saying as Harper tuned back into her moving lips. "Oh, I'm fine," Harper sighed, releasing the pent-up aggression she had not intended to build in the first place in the form of a sigh. "That was just my boss- threatening to fire me.. you know, the typical thing bosses do when you're not at their beck-and-call. I'm Harper, by the way," she added, reaching out a hand to shake the other girl's. What had she said her name was again? Oh, Fiona. Right- like the Ogre from Shrek 2. "Nice to meet you-- you got a note too, I guess?"

Idle chit-chat was always the best way to go for Harper. It would keep her mind off of The Madam and the possibility of losing her job. Even still, as she stood staring at the girl in front of her, she found it extremely hard to not be judgememental. After years of sizing other women up as potential threats it was strange for her to relax herself and just look at another girl as another person... Maybe even a possible friend. A friend like she had before- before her life turned upside down, before she left Virginia. Thoughts of her horses made her stomach turn over- what had happened to them? "So I guess we just wait here until Nick gets back," she mused out loud, glancing around the hallway at the group of people that lingered idlely waiting for the two leaders of this adventure to come back. "Hey, didn't Nick say something about there being no elevator? I wonder what floor we're on then..."

The question wasn't exactly directed at Fiona, more like a general question to herself but she decided to say it aloud anyway. Harper could help but wonder what had earned this innocent creature a golden ticket- she looked fine to Harper, but then again, if she looked in the mirror Harper could probably say the same for herself. Her heart softened towards the girl in that moment, realizing that she had no real idea what this woman had been through. With new respectful for the girl, Harper flashed her a smile, "Is your room as amazing as mine?"

Novia continued dabbing lightly at her eyes as she listened carefully and quietly, assessing both her situation and the male before her. One could practically hear the cogs in her mind whirring and clicking as she calculated her possible choices and the outcomes. She could leave — He said she was contracted but she didn't recall signing any contract. But they knew quite a bit about her already and if she left they could easily contact the authorities. She could be apprehended and deported and most likely sent to prison. Now, if she stayed and things were as he said they were she would benefit greatly. She didn't get a good look at the room that she had been placed in but she didn't like what she saw so far. There were also several others who had also fallen on hard times and observing them and comparing the reactions of everyone to such a situation to her own as well as those of everyone else would prove an awfully great experiment. She also apparently had a job here and could stay for free. She soon came to the conclusion that she would stay. For now.

Her final decision would be made in one week's time.

Her emerald eyes soon met the startling kind cerulean gaze of the man that had previously knocked her out and she quietly observed him, he politely remaining still. He was kind and apparently the Benefactor aided him when he fell on hard times. She was still a bit wary of his attitude, though perhaps it was just a "culture shock" after so many years of not a single shoulder to cry on or a kind hand to help her up without some ulterior motive. She blushed involuntarily as he complimented her intelligence - That was a first. She could come up with a million and one possible ulterior motives that the company had with her — She had a very wide skill set and they were apparently well aware of and she was the best at what she did. She had pulled a number of different jobs for many other companies so the idea of this corporation using her wasn't quite so left-field. But from what she could recall about this company, the owner didn't seem so malevolent — But there were many other companies that seemed like good people on the outside.

She continued to come to the conclusion that this was an awfully great and strange adventure to embark on with the psychological experiment of a lifetime as a prospect. She honestly wasn't doing anything else with her life and was simply going through the motions. Her passion for life had slowly been waning over the past few months as she continuously accumulated money, power, and material possessions but got nowhere and nothing but disrespect and cold, soulless items as she lived out her days alone with her paranoia, fears, and obsessions. This had the potential to be fun and beneficial. Sucking up her tears, she immediately put up her emotional walls and her mask. In a matter of seconds her entire appearance seemed to change; From depressed, confused, vulnerable, and lost to optimistic and charismatic. Her tears were dried and her frown was now a gentle smile, her once dull eyes now shining with curiosity, though there was also a somewhat malicious glint to them. “l suppose I could go along with it for now. Let‘s go then.” She stood up and shoved her hands in the front pocket of her hoody before taking off at a brisk pace back towards the building with him at her side.

She was silent, but retained her cheerful appearance as she went inside, though she still looked like a hooligan with her piercings and apparel. The immigrant continued running statistics through her mind as she climbed the stairs, Nicholas having taken the lead. She appreciated that he respected her silence and didn't try to force a conversation on her. She habitually pushed her tongue against the bar in her bottom lip as she thought, eventually switching to playing with the bar going through her tongue as well. She still retained her paranoia, but she couldn't see any other way out. They knew too much for her to just ditch and she didn't have her car as far as she knew. It would be better here, though. If they grabbed all her other things, they damn sure better not have left behind her Audi R8 — The hell she went through to get that thing was unbelievable. Contemplating where her vehicle was, she nearly bumped into another girl with hair as dark as her own.

“Lo siento.” She spoke softly, pulling her hat off as Nicolas moved to Scarlett's side. She ran her fingers through her hair as it pooled around her feet before she began to braid it to pass the time.

"I've changed some, but I still do some of the stupid things you've gotten me into." Smiling when she had said that, he really did enjoy those times they'd party together. But, it's all different now. Since he had left. "Drinking is fun, partying is great, and the hang overs still suck." He still hadn't gotten used to the hang overs but, other than that drinking and partying is still fun. Just yesterday he was at a party, it lasted still 2 o'clock but, hell a party could stop at anytime. As long it was not boring.

"That's actually how Nick found me. I had just left a club near my home and in a drunk state wondered into an alley where he afford me help." He wondered who Nick was but, he only shrugged and guessed that he worked at this place. Remembering the time when they had met, it was actually at a perfect time as well. It might haven't been quick but, he did fall in love with her at some point but, then he had a sudden anxiety about the love thing.

So, he just questioned if he really was good enough for her. He was just a messed up druggie who was in a band, he didn't think she deserved to deal with that. Plus, he knew he was the reason, he brought her through all of the things he left her with. "Since you haven't changed much I assume you're still traveling, which must be fun." He nodded,"Yup. Still traveling, it's tiring but, yeah it's fun. Hadn't slept good until today."

It was true, he had less time to sleep but, he had to suck it up and do it for his fans, and his career. Running his hand through his hair,"I remember the trips we use to take." Smiling when she paused, he nodded. "for the most part they were fun." They were fun, he couldn't help but, think about all the things they had done together. Those times were the best but, now seeing her here in front of her, hearing that she had improved her life when he had left, really bothered him in some way.

His heart jumped slightly as he saw the tears come out of her eyes. "Rosa-" Standing up completely off the wall, he looked around and looked down at Rosalina,"Um." He really wanted to make her feel better without a care as to why she was crying. He knew that it was somewhat his fault and he knew somewhere deep inside him, he stilled cared and loved about the girl in front of him. "Look Rosalina," He knelt down on one knee,"I know it is going to be hard but, hear me out. However I made you feel, try your best to forget about it." He wasn't the one for words in this type of situation. So he kept quiet and if it didn't work then can't say he didn't try.

Hailey numbly moved her fingers over the bottom of her soft sweat shirt. Her eyes were completely torn from her best friend as her mind began to drift off for some reason. She never noticed Aradia shifting her cello on her back and she especially didn't notice that the cello wasn't even hers. She had guessed that she has had this entire time and that her parent's scraped up some money to finally buy her one. "Oh. A second chance? What makes them think we need one of those?" These defensive words were the ones that snapped her from her daze. Looking up at her best friend she shrugged, "I have no idea. I'm sure they will tell us why we are here and all that at some point and time." She responded gently. It was the truth though she really didn't have any idea why they were here or what their second chance was. It was completely out of her reach, and her along with everyone else would have to wait until someone finally decided to tell them why on earth they were here.

"Besides, why are you here, then? Everyone loves you," She had completely noticed the bitterness that came from her best friend. It hurt, it really did and you could tell by how her smile faltered for a few seconds. He face went from a small frown slowly to a neutral face as if she was attempting to have no expression on her face at all. "I'm here for a second chance just like everyone else." She answered softly. "Plus not everyone loves me. You should know that Aradia." She tried to point out to Aradia, but felt bad that she did try to point that out to her. She shook her head, sighing softly as she glanced down at the ground. "It's not just me who people love. People love you too Aradia." She told Aradia, her gaze slowly moving over to her best friend as she tried to make Aradia happy some how, though, she probably wasn't really going to get any where.

Biting her lip gently she glanced around to see the people who were still around her. There stood the tall Penelope, no one could see her but Hailey clearly knew that her friend was there even if no one saw her except for Hailey. She couldn't look at Penelope any more because she had such a serious face that if Hailey looked at her any longer someone would notice or she would end up accidentally trying to talk to Penelope. Snapping her complete attention to her taller, older friend as soon as she spoke she quirked an eyebrow at her as she spoke. "A letter? I guess I didn't see mine- or they didn't give me one," Her friend mused. "Oh, hm, that's odd. Well I'm sure you will find it later or maybe they made a mistake or something." She shrugged, unsure of why she didn't get a letter, though, maybe not everyone got a letter. It could be that only a few people actually got a letter while others didn't. Suddenly she was confused about what was going on and suddenly she couldn't really decide what to do or say to her friend any more. Her mind randomly decided to draw a blank and she no longer could quite get why she was able to stay so calm this long when she didn't even know where she was or why she woke up in an odd place.

The Benefactor after waiting about thirty minutes wondered how long it would take Nick and Scar to come and get the new recruits. He was getting a bit impatient but he tried to remain control of his emotions. All of his recruits were probably confused, scared, worried, and who knows what else. He figured he could give them time to bond a bit about their new situation. Besides, he needed some breakfast.

After Kaylee got herself washed and ready, Rosemary brought her down to have some breakfast with the Benefactor. The dining hall had a fall theme going on with the long chestnut brown table covered in a golden table cloth with fake colorful leaves sprinkled on top of it. The flowers in the vase centered were reds and oranges and the brown twigs that separated bunches of flowers were accentuated with darker patterns to make it seem like they were real twigs. The chairs were a darker brown than the twigs and had duller golden cushions for the back and for the seat. All around the room were fall decorations from colorful leaves to nicely arranged baskets of harvest. These were reminders for both the Benefactor and Kaylee that her private school teacher would attend very soon to teach Kaylee for fifth grade. He was proud that she was growing fast but it also worried him that she would soon become a teenager.

Kaylee sat next to the Benefactor eating away at her favorite cereal, Fruit Loops, and gulping down a glass of milk after several spoonful’s of colorful sugary loops. The Benefactor sat down as the servants came in and brought his plate of food: dark brown pancakes with syrup, sausage links, and a glass of almond milk. While eating the Benefactor talked to Kaylee asking her about how she thinks school will be.

“It’ll be fine daddy don’t worry. Though I want to meet other kids my age. Why can’t I go to a regular school?”
“Well Kaylee, you’re my daughter, and I just want to make sure you receive the best education possible in the safest manner.”

“But what’s so dangerous about the other schools daddy?”
“Well there are people fighting, unfair teachers, children who will pretend to be your friends, it’s just not safe out there for you.”

“Oh, okay daddy,” Kaylee said putting her head down while eating her last spoonful of Fruit Loops. The Benefactor looked concerned at Kaylee feeling sorry that she has to stay inside the company. He wanted her to meet other children but that wasn’t an option with the way things are.

“How about this. After your birthday if it’s possible we can try to put you in a regular school. But you have to promise that you’ll be able to catch up fast with the material that your homeschool teacher gives you.”
Kaylee then lifted up her face and her eyes shone with excitement. “Really daddy? You mean it??”
The Benefactor nodded and Kaylee jumped out of her chair and hugged her father tightly saying, “Thank you thank you thank you!!!”

“You’re welcome Kaylee. After all you’ll be a teenager by then and then an adult. You’ll have to learn how to handle yourself from then on.”

“I promise I will do my best for you daddy!” Kaylee cheerfully smiled before skipping to her room. Rosemary followed after her while Kaylee complained that she could go by herself and didn’t need any assistance.

After finishing his breakfast the Benefactor went back to his office again. Noting that it was already about time they should come, he gave Nick a call again.

Image

Nick had followed Novia up the stairs to go with the others. He was about to strike a conversation with some more ladies when his phone rang again.

“Nick, I believe you should be heading up soon. Have the others not awakened yet?”

Nick looked at the crowd quickly then answered, “There is one guy that still needs to be here but I think he should be heading to the group shortly. Scar can take care of that. All the girls are here now.”

“Alright good, once he comes I want you and Scar to both bring the new recruits over. They have a lot of business to attend to.”

“No problem sir.”

Nick ended the call just as the other man got over to the group.

“Good, okay folks it’s time to go meet your new boss! Scar you can lead the boys first, I’ll stay behind the girls to make sure they’re protected.”

Nick winked at the girls, smiled at Scarlet, then retreated to the back of the girls waiting for Scar to go lead the boys. He didn’t mind if Scarlet made a face at his request. He simply enjoyed teasing her as always. Besides he was going to protect the girls and maybe even get to flirt with some of them using his charm.

Image"Rosa-" As she was on her knees she rolled over to sit on the ground then pulled her knees to her chest as she sobbed. "Um." Looking up at Noah she frowned of disappointment. He was such an idiot, a waste of her time, but she loved him. "Look Rosalina," as he spoke he knelt down on one knee next to her, "I know it is going to be hard but, hear me out. However I made you feel, try your best to forget about it." She could feel her heart drop deep into her stomach with those words, she knew he was trying to show he cared, but he was failing greatly. "It's not that easy," she snapped at him, How could he be so stupid? "You know I loved you more than anything! I would have done anything for you, but you repaid me by leaving without reason-" she felt like screaming louder, but instead calmed her voice at him, "I still love you, and I probably always will. No matter how hard it is I have to learn to live with that." Running her fingers through her hair like she always did when nervous she rested against his knee and shut her eyes. She wished he never had left, she wanted to be with him still and still suffered from him leaving. "You have to live with hurting me though," she told him as her head was rested on his knee, "I loved you more than anyone could ever love you and you left." Her voice seemed so lifeless.

On his knew she broke out into another outburst of sons from pain, Why do I have to do this now? Trying to calm herself down she started taking in deep long breaths repetitively. Doing it over and over again she could feel her personality change, something she had taught herself to do over time. It was like her way of cooping with all the pain; if she could become someone else she wouldn't have to deal with her real problems. Rosalina considered this her self defense against life, something she'd be lost without. She stopped her crying and just rested for a few seconds before pulling back and looking at Noah with tears in her eyes and a weak smile. "I-" she wasn't sure how to respond what had happened and to her luck Nick began talking.

Image"Good, okay folks it's time to go meet your new boss! Scar you can lead the boys first, I'll stay behind the girls to make sure they're protected." When he finished talking her attention went back to Noah. Whipping her eyes she gave him a huge grin. "You're the only person I know here making us automatic best friends," she began, "this time you just can't get up and leave me either, Noah." Kissing his cheek she then pulled back to look at him. "How do I look though," she asked, "I can't make a bad first impression. You know how I am with impressions! Are my eyes red or puffy? Do I look pretty?" Rosalina's appearance was important to her and if she was going to meet the Benefactor she wanted to look the best she could, she had to look good! Looking him over she smiled, "By the way you look perfect, very presentable!"

Scarlet moved her head to the side at the sight of all the people talking to each other. Sylvester had given them a report on every single one of them, as he always did with new recruits, so she wasn't surprised to see some of the interactions that were happening just a few feet away. She eyed everyone that seemed to be doing their own thing, it was then when she saw a much smaller and shorter figure roaming the the room trying to stay unnoticed, 'Kaylee...' Scar said in a low voice, her blonde hair could be seen behind Rosalina and Noah who seemed to be too deep into their conversation that they didn't notice when the twelve year old was eavesdropping on their conversation. kaylee then moved to Jasper, whom she saw being rude to someone else, she elbowed the young tall man purposely, "sorry about that" she tried saying in a sweet and endearing tone that yelled sarcasm all over, one that she had picked from Scar most likely. The young girl then stuck her tongue out to the young man and moved next to Zeus who the young girl thought seemed to be nice enough.

Scarlet couldn't help but to grin at the little girl's actions but her smile quickly vanished as soon as the soon to be teenager turned to look at her. Scarlet immediately changed her mood and looked at Kaylee scornfully as she always did when the young girl was trying to get in trouble. Kaylee, knowing she did not want to make Scar even madder, dropped her shoulders and started walking towards the red haired beauty who seemed far from happy with her arrival. She looked like a child about to be scolded by her mother, she had her eyes on the floor as she walked slowly towards her. Finally she was at hands reach from Scar, "I'm sorry" the young girl said. Scarlet moved her hand towards the little girl's head ruffling her long blonde hair, "Kaylee... you know that your Dad doesn't like it when you are playing around with the new recruits".

It was then when they were interrupted by an older woman, Rosemary. She rushed her way in though the stairs and was having an agitated respiration as she had probably ran to search for Kaylee as she did so often being her Nanny. Finally, she spotted the young girl who was next to Scarlet, "Miss Crom...well" she said trying to catch her breath, breathless almost. "Rosy..." said the young girl in return and now hiding behind Scar not wanting to continue with her piano lessons. Rosemary waited for a few minuted trying to regain composure, Scarlet did not say anything and waited until she spoke again, "Ms. Romanov" to which Scarlet replied immediately, "Just Scarlet, Rosemary" she said annoyed though not being disrespectful. Rosemary was about to speak again when Scarlet cut her off, "that will not be necessary, I was about to tell her to return to her lessons" she said dismissing Rosemary for the moment. "But..." Kaylee started, "No buts, I know you want to come but you know you can't. I'll come and fetch you up as soon as I can ok?". Kaylee without second thoughts knowing she would keep her word simply replied, "Okay..." and Scarlet smiled at the young girl before she headed back.

As soon as Kaylee was out of her sight, Scarlet counted the number of people in the room again. Finally she counted the number she needed for the guys with the new addition of the last guy she needed, who looked just as baffled and confused as most of them, and she found Nick finally coming back with the last girl. She was about to make a remark on his, again, delayed arrival but she saw him answering the phone, Sylvester at the end of the line most likely. Finally, after hanging up he spoke again, “Good, okay folks it’s time to go meet your new boss! Scar you can lead the boys first, I’ll stay behind the girls to make sure they’re protected.” With that he winked at the girls followed by a smile directed at her but Scarlet couldn't help but to role her eyes, "Like you had to tell me twice..."

Finally Scarlet moved in front only turning back once, "You wanted some answers and answers is what you'll get. she paused for a moment to look at everyone and then turned to Nick, "You heard mister Claus here" she said calling him by the nickname she had given him as soon as she heard his name was Nicholas, "the guys come with me first." And with that she moved in front of everyone being careful to see that all of them followed. "The elevator doesn't work" she said before anyone was clever enough to ask why they couldn't simply go on the elevator, what Nick had already explained a couple of times; besides it was something that some of them, like the new guy were unaware of. They had to go up the stairs up to the sixth floor, Scarlet did not say anything as they moved their way up. She knew that Sylvester would be waiting and was starting to get impatient as he had called for Nick for an update, besides she wanted to get the empowering done as soon as possible as it would make her job easier.

Scarlet could care less if anyone complained at the stairway, once they were in the sixth floor she turned around to see if all of them were behind and to see if Nick was following behind though she thought that he would probably stayed longer behind flirting all the way up. Scarlet moved slowly towards Sylvester's office, she barged in the room where the door was already opened, she didn't see the point in knocking had the door been closed, either way she made her way in his office. "Here they are" she said signaling everyone, "you really know how to pick em" she said before she did as always, she leaned against the wall letting Sylvester do all the talking.

"Thank you, for helping me back there...It was really nice of you."

Daniel smiled, pocketing his hand as he leaned against the wall. “What can I say?” He shrugged facetiously, "I'm a philanthropist. It runs in my family.” He made himself comfortable against the wall, shoving his hands into his pockets to refrain from gesticulating much. Daniel hated that he felt the need to move his hands whenever he talked, but it was hereditary. If he constricted his hands, his head would move, and that was just aggravating. “If we're going to be friends then I'll have to apologize in advance for my stereotypical remarks and/or name-calling. I don't mean to offend you, it's not my intention, it's just my sense of humor.” That sounded rehearsed. Daniel mused, Damn. I have to explain myself way too often. “I'm not going to guess what you're personal line of decency is, I cross my own from time to time, it's how I know I still have one.” He paused, giving the socially awkward young man time to adjust before going on another spiel, “I'm allergic to cinnamon. Deathly allergic. Just sniffing the stuff will get me to start wheezing and hacking. Uhh...what else? Oh! Sometimes I like to play piano at three in the morning in the event that I can't sleep. I tend to stay in constant motion. I get bored relatively easy. And I'm not accustomed to staying by myself for too long so I'll probably on you like white on rice for the better part of our friendship. And...uhh-....” Daniel took a moment to pause, looking up to rack his brain for anything else, letting out a long monotone drone until he snapped his attention back to Maki, “Would that bother you? Future best friends really should know the worst about each other.” Daniel beamed at his own reference, finding it a plus if the timid young man understood it.

"Uh...okay?" Maki scratched the back of his head, standing awkwardly in front of him. "I'm afraid of blood...I don't use profanity...I'm a virgin...and I'm kind of bad at math?"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa-....” Daniel laughed, "Whoa. What do you mean you're kind of bad at math? You're Asian.”

Maki frowned as he shrugged his shoulders, weakly. "Not all stereotypes are true, apparently. I mean, if I judged you by your appearance, I'd determine that you're Jewish because of your nose and hair, but I could be wrong. I probably am.”

Daniel chuckled, "Jokes on you, Maki. As it happens I am of Jewish descent." He shrugged, "I just don't practice organize religion. But you-...." He wagged a finger, "You're the one not living up to your expectations, my friend. I mean being a virgin? That's fine. I figure with all the studying they do, Asians don't get laid much anyway. Profanity? I'm fine with you not using any as long as you don't fault me for using it a lot. But not being good at math? Being afraid of blood? That's like two of your job opportunities down the drain!" Daniel clasped his hand on his friend's shoulder, comforting him. "That's alright, buddy. Tell you what: I'll tutor you. I'm a bit of a mathematician myself. I can make you better at it, if you want."

"Uh, sure, I guess." Maki sighed, defeated. The one time he tries to make a point, it gets smacked down. "I'll teach you Japanese...you know, if you want me to."

Daniel looked at Maki, mouth agape and arms spread, shocked that he could think Daniel would possibly pass that up. "Hell yeah I would! Are you kidding?" He laughed. He paused, catching a glimpse of golden hair as a small girl past by him to converse with the fiery red head to his right. "Huh. A kid. Weird," He thought aloud, shaking his head before turning back to Maki with a smile, "Do you have a cellphone? I'm totally giving you my number so you can text me."

"Yeah," he said, reaching into his jeans to pull out his iPhone. Unlocking it, he handed it over to Daniel as his eyes followed the little girl. "Just type your number in." Daniel took the phone from Maki, vaguely aware of his new friend's attention as he filled out almost every slot of information on the contact list. He even took a picture of himself, holding the phone out as he grinned into the front facing camera, snapping a pic to attach to the contact. That was another guilty pleasure of his he should've added to the list of 'worst things'. He enjoyed talking selfies far too much for it to be healthy. Satisfied with his work, he returned the locked phone to Maki, interrupted by the voice of his mystery lady.

"You wanted some answers and answers is what you'll get." She said before gesturing towards the pretty boy that intermingled with the girls. Daniel cast a glance at him briefly before turning his attention back on the red head. Clearly they knew each other. That guy must work here or something. "You heard mister Claus here, the guys come with me first."

Daniel perked up, turning back to Maki as he pocketed his phone. "What d'ya say? Want to be my orientation buddy?"

"Sure," Maki smiled, his mood perking up. Daniel beamed, his own mood heightening considerable with the knowledge that he'd made someone's day better. "Sounds good."

As his mystery lady relayed the condition of the elevator, Daniel walked beside Maki to follow behind her. He was quiet during their ascent, taking comfort from his new friend's presence. He wasn't lying when he said he wasn't accustomed to being alone. He hated it. It frightened him more than death itself. So Maki being there, willingly accepting his company, meant more to him than his new friend probably knew. The fiery redhead lead the group of boys into the office and Daniel stood close to Maki's side, maybe more for the younger man's benefit than his own, but for his own nonetheless. He could sense the little guy's curiosity masked by a tinge of anxiety, and it brought a smirk to his lips. He was braver than most. Being led to some random guy's office after being kidnapped was one thing, being more curious than nervous was another. Daniel stole a glance at the redhead as she leaned against the wall before he cast his attention to the man behind the mystery, his skin prickling with anticipation.

Jasper rolled his eyes as the Asian was 'rescued' by the same idiot that felt the need to sing to him earlier. He's barely been in this place for an hour and he already wanted to wring three people's necks. He glared at the floor, his sour mood only heightening when a little brat tried to show her ass and bump into him on purpose. "Damn kids," Jasper muttered, bitterly. He wanted to trip the little beast, but she got away before his foot could clip her.

A red head began spewing commands and Jasper shrugged his shoulders, forgetting the little girl completely as he trekked forward, following wordlessly. He was too curious at the moment to relatively give a damn about the fact that this lady felt like she was big and bad. Under normal circumstances, Jasper would have engaged her in a penis swinging competition. However, his mind was reeling with the multitude of possibilities. Was this like some secret agent type shit? Were they smugglers or something? He didn't know, but he was definitely intrigued. As he moved up the steps, Jasper played and pulled at his bottom lip while staring at his sneakers, out of habit, his ADD kicking in. His fingers fiddled with his shirt and worried his bottom lip until they reached their destination.

Jasper pulled his hands away from his lips and clothes, stuffing the restless digits into his pocket. That was when he looked up from his Chuck Taylors, eyes landing on an older man. "So, you're the asshole that kidnapped me...who the hell do you think you are?" He narrowed his icy eyes at the man, holding back nothing. Everyone was probably thinking it. He was just brave enough to say it.

ImageGrey had been leaning against a wall watching the rest of the group silently. She was in no mood to speak to anyone really, she had tried to at least which was good she guessed. It was peaceful not having to try to keep a conversation going, it was to complex to say the right words, to keep the flow going, keep the interest of the other person, and so on and forth. In all reality she tried her best to stay reserved anyways, so it didn't bother her that no one was speaking to her in the slightest. She noticed all the little clicks that had formed though, Not very many people to create so much noise though. It was louder than she wanted the room to be, but was she suppose to do, yell at everyone and order them to remain silent? What a sight that would be. Little oh me trying to order people around. Smirking at herself she sighed, This is boring. She felt the urge to go back into the room she had been given and lock the door casting everyone out so she didn't have to be bothered with their presences. It's not like she hated people, they just normally annoyed her greatly for whatever reasons and with her only talking to two people so far she wasn't to fond of anyone. The first girl, Scarlet, seemed to be a bitch in her opinion or stuck up from what she had seen so far, she didn't like her cockiness or rude exterior. Rosalina on the other hand seemed nice though, she was like a bubbly Barbie Doll. In fact, where is she?

Before Rosalina had left her side she seemed frantic and shaken up from some guy that had entered the room not to long ago. As her eyes searched the hall it didn't take long to find her with the young looking man. His hair was dark, messy, and he didn't look very sharp, That's her ex? Based off his appearance he didn't really look good enough for the little rich girl in Grey's opinion. I guess love is blind. Rolling her eyes she lost interest in the ex couple until she saw Rosalina burst into tears and fall to the ground. Should I help? Grey debated if she would leave the solitude of the wall to help the crying girl or not. Honestly she didn't want to. Grey had no emotional connection to anyone here, so why should she care? It would help with you facade, people usually care for others in need... There was one pro, one pro out of an infinity number, but now she needed her con, You don't care about her... Now the balance scale was equal figuratively, but in sense she knew the helping others was out weighing anything else she could think of. I really don't want to do this. Pulling on her hair from annoyance she leaned off the wall using the hand that had once been on her head. Looking at the ground she noticed a few strains of her hair now decorated it, I should stop pulling so hard... The pulling was a bad habit of hers, she did it so often her scalp would bleed and she wouldn't even notice from the lack of pain it causes. But that's besides the point right now. She was about to walk over when one voice over took the room.

Image“Good, okay folks it’s time to go meet your new boss! Scar you can lead the boys first, I’ll stay behind the girls to make sure they’re protected.” What fun. With a slight frown she glanced back over to Rosalina who was now smiling, How fake. The girl was now laughing and snuggling up to the person that Grey thought made her cry, Why are girls so strange? She no longer knew what to do, "Rosalina, as she spoke she faced her, but walked towards Nick, "when you get done... meet me in line." Shutting her a smile she received a head nod. That's over now. Seeing the group that formed in front of Nick it appeared to be that her and Barbie weren't apart of it. With Nick being in the back of the line she gently skipped over to her then hooked her right arm to his left and turned her skip to his pace of walking but kept a little pep to her step. Looking over to him she beamed. "You may know my name, but I never got to introduce myself," she held her free hand in front of him, "nice to meet you I'm Grey, and thank you for kidnapping me." Faking a giggle at the end of her joke it had some truth in it. She was some pleased that she no longer had to stay in her depressing old home with all the bad memories of her past. It was time to start a little more fresh, and this new job would be perfect. She wasn't a big toucher, but in the long run she hoped getting closer to the ones that brought her here would be good. When she ran her coffee shop the runs she had once befriend got more benefits, like coming in late without pay cut, free coffee, and a few more things. She was just trying to strategies, and also she needed to seem more friendly, if she could she'd be acting like Scarlet due to this whole situation, but how friendly was that?
