Image

The names of Aeri's former team mates: Tommy, Rayburn, Jones Stets, and Freddie

Scars: Deep burns down both arms, wrapped around her torso and on her thighs and breasts. Also hidden with red coat.

Name: Aerilyn Rayburn-Jones (in honor or fallen family)
Age: 24
Height: 5'4"
Gender: Female

Personality

Quiet and shy, Aeri prefers being around soldiers to other people because there she feels almost normal, and fairly safe. She forces herself to pretend happiness almost constantly, if only to prevent herself from ever slipping into a depression.

Equipment

Aeri has the unique ability to manipulate air and winds at a high level thus making her and Aeromancer.

Personal:

Hat of Silence - a red beret that prevents Aeri from hearing any sounds more than 30 feet away when she speaks the word 'ssejin.' The spell is held by a diamond in a brass setting, and is ending by Aeri clapping her hands.

Favorite moves:

Push - a blast of air at speeds of up to 150 mph. Will blow you away!
Air walk - Though she can't fly, she certainly can get above your head, by walking on nothing!
Pressure - Aeri can holding anything in the air she wants to, using pressure.
Vacuum - Don't make her too Angry! She can create a perfect vacuum in a space as big as two cubic feet for 30 seconds! And the smaller the spall, the longer she can hold! At 1 in cubic, she can hold that vacuum for an entire minute!
WindWall - This fun shield deflects projectiles, small creatures, and any poisonous gasses.
Whirlwind - When Aeri panics, she tends to use Whirlwind. It'll spin her opponent right out of the battle alright, but it also does significant damage to the surroundings.
Whispering Wind - Far away? No problem. Aeri can talk to you on the wind itself. Though heaven help you if she's feeling mischievous.
Air Chain - No you've gone and done it. Aeri is going to tie you up using chains made of air? Confused? Just accept it.

History

Aeri grew up in a simple village full of simple people. By age five, she knew she was different though. By age 13 she lost both parents, he mother to childbirth, her father to jail. She also lost her sister that year to a church fire.

At this point, Aeri went on a traveling adventure, dropping out of seventh grade, hoping to raise the funds for her father's release. Unfortunately, though she was able to earn the money, her father had died to sickness before she could rescue him. Without even a grade school diploma, and having not completed high school, there was very little that Aerilyn could do for work, so she turned back to what she had learned while adventuring: Merc Work.

Aerilyn, by now more than proficient with a gun, became a mercenary for hire, joining a band in order to find work. She worked hard, and moved up in the ranks, going on hundreds of successful missions with her team mates, until on fatal mission went wrong.

Bad information led to the death of most of her teammates. Aeri only survived because she accidentally used her aeromancer powers, rather instinctively. With this, she survived but the rest of her team died. Eventually, Aeri made her way out, and it was revealed that the last mission had lost her any chance on naturally hearing again. She had been using the wind to bring her what words over people spoke.

From there things got worse, and Aeri became a danger, a liability. The company, unwilling to fund a trainer for her, or help her find one, fired Aeri. Without work, her money quickly disappeared, though not before she bought a small plot of land in the middle of the forest and had it cleared and a mage build her a small one room hut made entirely of stone. It held no doors or windows, merely openings where such things would normally be.

She craved the wind now, but couldn't stand the onslaught that being near people brought to ears that should hear nothing. She went into town only when she knew it would be mostly quiet. Suffering from PTSD, and survivor's guilt, and with no education or training in her powers, Aerilyn lived apart from society, making a few simple wooden carvings to sell from time to time, and teaching herself how to use the odd magic she had been given.

So begins...

Aerilyn holds it in her hands and turns it over, looks at it curiously. A gust and wind pushes at Johnson, in an obvious attempt to make him uncomfortable enough he may leave them be. "Amazing! that this can hold sixty of any weapon astounds me."

Aerilyn nods. "It's okay. I couldn't explain how my winds work either." She says with a smile. "I just know they do, and surely that is enough." She looks to Johnson, her brow furrowed. Oh how embarrassing. With the winds blowing against him, she couldn't hear him at all. Seeing as how he refuses to leave, she drops that attempt so she can, hopefully, hear him next time he speaks.

Aerilyn frowns slightly. "A...space marine? I'm afraid I don't understand. Isn't that a type of sailor?" She asks, coming from a low tech world herself. She had never even heard of space travel before.

Aerilyn frowns slightly. "Space hulk? That makes no sense!" she is rapidly becoming more and more confused. The breeze around them begins to pick up as her confusion mounts. "Genitals?" She asks, then turns a bright red as what he said registers. "Genetically enhanced?"

The winds pick up once more, and what had been a comfortable breeze is starting to become a bit forceful. As Kara Thrace approaches, the wind would have begun to whip their clothes about from the force of it.

Aerilyn frowns at Johnson, trying to focus so the wind dies down. Unfortunately, the doesn't happen and she looks to Morbin, high concerned. "Morbin, I have to go. If I don't regain control soon, I may destroy this place by accident. Please forgive me." She tells him, standing abruptly, and holding the bottom edge of her skirt down as the winds continue to grow. She would wait though, until he replied, mostly out of politeness. She had been raised to display it after all.

Aerilyn nods, hurrying out the door to avoid leveling the bar. Even so, several smaller items and lighter weight things were beginning to be knocked over and thrown about. She disappears into the forest as quick as she can, to unleash a thin localized tornado in a clearing near her home, making certain to keep it there.

Aerilyn slips into the bar and looks at the mostly inactive place with a smile. Perfect. She'd be just fine in here for now, and there shouldn't be a thing to set her off. She takes a seat at the bar, determined to meet someone other than the two people she has met and smiles brightly as she orders a lemonade, brushing mouse brown hair behind her ear as brown eyes survey the bar.

Luckily she had just missed FireMonger's spell.

Aerilyn blushes at being called a fine maiden, and, as her hair catches fire, she quickly puts it out, before any damage can be done to more than the tips. "I'm sorry, but that was rather rude of you." She says quietly, meeting Firemonger's gaze dead one. "You shouldn't compliment someone, then set them on fire."

Aerilyn sighs. "You. You are not like eveyone else." She finally says, deciding to appeal to Firemonger's ego. "Of course you aren't effected. You're special." She explains to him, hoping he'll understand.

Aerilyn accepts the drink, and smiles. "I do not think the second floor apartments could handle being burned. Besides, it may cause the other several floors to fall down and harm us both. Though you may be able to handle fire very well, stone and steel, you may struggle with more."

Aerilyn nods. "I see. I didn't really have a choice but to become an aeromancer." She says with a smile. For her, with winds bubbling out of her and following her every step, there hadn't been a choice. At all. "My name is Aerilyn by the way.'

Aerilyn shakes her head. "I have no use for the frivolity that is the nobility who live in those castles." She tells him. "And I'm sure I would love to see these hidden appendages." She smiles to gentle her words some, and waits for him to show her.

Aerilyn glances at the tail, then examines the horns closely. "I don't see why. You look perfeect normal to be, if a bit cancerous." She told him, still quite calmly. It took a lot mote than being partly demon to shake Aeri from her calm. She needed to remain calm after all.

Aerilyn covers he mouth to smother a laughter. Fire mages always were a rather insane bunch. "I'm sorry, but that' rather the natural properties s fire and water." She says with a grin.

She proceeds to draw the rune for each elements on the table in front of them, allowing a small illusion of each to appear. "Look see. Fire and Water balance each other. That means that you're suceptible to water." She explains with a smile.

Aerilyn walked quietly into the bar, seeking companionship mroe than anything else, no matter how shy she was. Spotting Morbin, she smiles brightly and made her was over to him. "Hey. It's been awhile. DO you even remember me?" She asked quietly, not a single leaf around. For once."
