The names of Aeri's former team mates: Tommy, Rayburn, Jones Stets, and Freddie

Scars: Deep burns down both arms, wrapped around her torso and on her thighs and breasts. Also hidden with red coat.

Name: Aerilyn Rayburn-Jones (in honor or fallen family)
Age: 24
Height: 5'4"
Gender: Female

Personality

Quiet and shy, Aeri prefers being around soldiers to other people because there she feels almost normal, and fairly safe. She forces herself to pretend happiness almost constantly, if only to prevent herself from ever slipping into a depression.

Equipment

Aeri has the unique ability to manipulate air and winds at a high level thus making her and Aeromancer.

Personal:

Hat of Silence - a red beret that prevents Aeri from hearing any sounds more than 30 feet away when she speaks the word 'ssejin.' The spell is held by a diamond in a brass setting, and is ending by Aeri clapping her hands.

Favorite moves:

Push - a blast of air at speeds of up to 150 mph. Will blow you away!
Air walk - Though she can't fly, she certainly can get above your head, by walking on nothing!
Pressure - Aeri can holding anything in the air she wants to, using pressure.
Vacuum - Don't make her too Angry! She can create a perfect vacuum in a space as big as two cubic feet for 30 seconds! And the smaller the spall, the longer she can hold! At 1 in cubic, she can hold that vacuum for an entire minute!
WindWall - This fun shield deflects projectiles, small creatures, and any poisonous gasses.
Whirlwind - When Aeri panics, she tends to use Whirlwind. It'll spin her opponent right out of the battle alright, but it also does significant damage to the surroundings.
Whispering Wind - Far away? No problem. Aeri can talk to you on the wind itself. Though heaven help you if she's feeling mischievous.
Air Chain - No you've gone and done it. Aeri is going to tie you up using chains made of air? Confused? Just accept it.

History

Aeri grew up in a simple village full of simple people. By age five, she knew she was different though. By age 13 she lost both parents, he mother to childbirth, her father to jail. She also lost her sister that year to a church fire.

At this point, Aeri went on a traveling adventure, dropping out of seventh grade, hoping to raise the funds for her father's release. Unfortunately, though she was able to earn the money, her father had died to sickness before she could rescue him. Without even a grade school diploma, and having not completed high school, there was very little that Aerilyn could do for work, so she turned back to what she had learned while adventuring: Merc Work.

Aerilyn, by now more than proficient with a gun, became a mercenary for hire, joining a band in order to find work. She worked hard, and moved up in the ranks, going on hundreds of successful missions with her team mates, until on fatal mission went wrong.

Bad information led to the death of most of her teammates. Aeri only survived because she accidentally used her aeromancer powers, rather instinctively. With this, she survived but the rest of her team died. Eventually, Aeri made her way out, and it was revealed that the last mission had lost her any chance on naturally hearing again. She had been using the wind to bring her what words over people spoke.

From there things got worse, and Aeri became a danger, a liability. The company, unwilling to fund a trainer for her, or help her find one, fired Aeri. Without work, her money quickly disappeared, though not before she bought a small plot of land in the middle of the forest and had it cleared and a mage build her a small one room hut made entirely of stone. It held no doors or windows, merely openings where such things would normally be.

She craved the wind now, but couldn't stand the onslaught that being near people brought to ears that should hear nothing. She went into town only when she knew it would be mostly quiet. Suffering from PTSD, and survivor's guilt, and with no education or training in her powers, Aerilyn lived apart from society, making a few simple wooden carvings to sell from time to time, and teaching herself how to use the odd magic she had been given.

So begins...

Aerilyn pushes open the bar door and looks around curiously, if quietly. She bites her bottom lip and steps in, making sure to be out of the way of any newcomers. She glances around some more, and looks for a place to sit, ignoring the rather large robot. She had seen much bigger.

Aerilyn rolls out of the way almost instinctively dodging the plasma. She frowns at the robot and scolds it. "Stop that! I'd rather not damage the bar just to get you to leave, but I will use my wings against you if I must."

Aerilyn raises an eyebrow but, satisfied the machine won't attack her, cheerfully continues looking for a place to sit. She couldn't really hear all that much right now, but the place certainly looked nice enough!

Aerilyn watches Orion battle its opponents with a smile. While she preferred not to fight herself, she did enjoy watching a good battle and this one promised to be interesting, if nothing else.

Aerilyn glances around once more, and moves over to the man who just entered, quietly taking a seat next to him. She looks up at him, and orders a drink, watching as a robot served it to her. How...odd. Oh well. New city, new customs.

Aerilyn looks up at him and smiles sweetly. "Hello. My name is Aerilyn." She introduces herself, then takes a sip of her drink. Well, he hadn't outright protested at her appearance, if nothing else. "I also answer to Aeri." she admits, though that statement didn't sound as happy as the other one. Clearly, she preferred her real name over the diminutive. The brunette smiles hopefully at him, wanting to strike up some sort of conversation.

Aerilyn smiles up at him, glad he even responded. She didn't like just talking to people randomly, but sometimes you rather had to. "Have you been in the area long? I'm new to the city." She admits, looking a bit sheepish. "Just arrived actually, and haven't found a place to stay yet."

Aerilyn takes a moment to think this over, going quiet. "For now, I have a tent in the forest." She admits quietly, looking around. She should be safe enough in her tent also, considering she has surrounded it with a low walls of gale force winds. Meteorologists much love predicting weather around her, she thought absently.

Aerilyn nods slowly. "I do prefer it outside, or in an open building at best. I prefer to feel the wind in my hair you see." She says, making a small breeze blow through the bar and play with her hair. "So if I have to be in a building, I prefer the windows not have glass in them. Just empty holes."

The woman thinks over him visiting her for a bit. "And I suppose you could visit me. It'd be in the really windy glade, and you'd have to catch my attention somehow, so I could let you in."

Aerilyn grins slightly. "I don't know. I keep my winds going pretty fast around the glad. The tree are beginning to twist." She admits this with pride. Wind may not be the most powerful of elements in some ways, but nothing could stand up to it's steady push.

Aerilyn 's eyes widen and she grins slightly. "I don't know. I've managed a wind speed of 150 miles per hour before. It was one of my favorite moments, when I was clocked so high." She says with a grin. She had never met, not in all her travels, another aeromancer of any type. "And if you can manipulate winds, I'm sure you could just stop mine long enough to enter."

Aerilyn shrugs. "Then I suppose you would have to get my attention. I'm afraid my winds are rarely, if ever so destructive." She says, ignoring the thing that sat down on Azazyl's other side.

Aerilyn frowns slightly. "You look uncomfrotable. We can always move out conversation to the forest, if you wish to." She offers, looking around to try and see what had unsettled him. Unfortunately, despite having been in several battles, she had poor senses when it cam to detecting pre-eminant fights.

Aerilyn puts her drink down, and pays for it, standing quickly. She stumbles slightly, but catches herself and glances around one last time before sending a breeze throughout the room to map it out some more. With a quick smile, she leaves the bar heading for the Forest Border.

Aerilyn glances around her carefully, looking for the spot to enter through to make it to her glade. With a bright smile at he companion, she pushes through the brush, off the path until she encounters an wall of wind preventing her from going farther. With a grin, she drops that and enters the glade she's pitched camp in. "Ta da! Home sweet home. I may have a small hut built here one day, if I like the City enough."

Aerilyn shrugs, looking embarassed. "I don't really have sensitive hearing." She admits, looking a bit embarassed. "I actually can't hear very well at all, though it's not much of a handycap as far as I'm concerned. And we're about a half a mile, a mile away. Outside the city wall if nothing else, though that bar does get into some pretty noisy fights. Or at least it did earlier." she says with a smile. "I can hear you much better out here. The wind whispers best outside, after all." She says, looking around. "And I suppose there are, but this is good for now. There's a waterfall nearby? Perhaps I should make my home closer to it then."

Aerilyn grins. "Mostly nothign right now. I travel a lot, and live off the land for the most part. I do odd jobs here and there when I need money, or join in a battle if I needed even more than usual." She says with a smile. "It must be very noisy behidn the waterfall though."

Aerilyn chuckles. "If it is bad, I keep it out. Otherwise, it can come in if it wants. I'm not bothered by a little rain." She says, sounding highly amused. She glances up at him almost shyly. "You are welcome to watch, if that what you wish." She tell him with a smile. "What is it that you do?"

Aerilyn admires the fact that he can make the grass whistle at all, as she had never learned. She looks up at the sky, leaning back on her palms. "One of your own? You have a wife, or a child then?" She asks, just to clarify that matter. "And it is good to live off the land."
