Aiyanna's Story

The Woman stepped down from the ramp, and onto the sand of the beach, her arms were clasped behind her back, and her gaze was cold, with purpose, she moved through the formation of soldiers. She looked like business, her hair neatly pulled back, under a peaked officer's cap that matched the uniform.

The woman stopped several paces away from Aiyanna.

John Pilot stared between the two women as the awkward silence took over the scene.

The woman turned her attention over to Jay, and snapped at him in a stern voice.

"Silence, Xeno!" She ordered, before she turned to Aiyanna.

Aiyanna stood there in silence, she was wondering what was next.

John Pilot threw his hands up confused and frightened with worry. He lowered his head in compliance.

Aiyanna brought her arm across her chest, straightening her pose. She was standing at attention.

John Pilot glanced over at Aiyanna before clearing his throat to muster enough courage.

Emile Fourneaux laid in his belly. Seeing the events... words half muffled began he been so close to the ground. His eyes searched around. Careful... Careful... Cedric in comparison did not have a cool head. "NO! Don't use their words!" it would make them angry!

John Pilot tried to awkwardly mirror Aiyanna's salute.

The woman replied. "Ad Victoriam, Aiyanna. Your decommissioning has been indefinitely postponed. The Emperor has determined that we require your abilities in our upcoming war against the Asylians."

"Your ship crashed before we could issue the recall order. We are also here to investigate the circumstances surrounding that."

She looked to her surroundings. She cast a rather irritated glare at John.

"Do you insult me? I should have you shot!"

Emile Fourneaux was left trying to guess what was happening. What were they talking about? He noticed poor Cedric practically pissing himself. God. You are a soldier man. Show some spine! He sighed something and remained on his belly hiding.

John Pilot nodded to Aiyanna, appearing heavily worried about his fate.

Maxim Heath was curious of the various worlds that existed in the many galaxies. The one thing that was more interesting than hunting down bounties and monsters for a great sum of cash and validations, was exploring the beauty of the wonderful worlds he was hunting on. No. Not the women. They exist everywhere and in different forms with different beliefs and philosophies; or life ways that didn't line up with his own.

No, true beauty lied inside the existence of the world and its natural habitats or denizens. The things people leave, forget, exterminate and grow, nurture or cultivate as sustainable needs for societal functions or maintenance were the most involved; therefore making them the most interesting. He loved to learn about the needs of people and thier societies. That's something that excited him since he was younger and learning to build traps made out of left over materials in the junk-bin of the hunters on his home planet. Certainly a vaaaast difference than the beach he currently found himself on. A lush world full of natural animals and giants creatures with beautiful vistas, also housed quite the dangerous.

There was an attack from the wildlife earlier and some android stuff going on. But he couldn't have cared any less. He laid on that beach, sand digging ever deeper between his exposed toes. His combat boots retracted earlier and turned into spike anklets, they reacted to his thoughts of wanting to feel the earth beneath him. So he was certainly able to do so. Every bit of gear he wore was linked like this, from his goggles and gauntlets, to his combat boots and mysterious daggers called Nief's. No, no one would notice him, no one would interact, and he would give no chances.

Last time he was on a beach, he watched his trusted partner die...his second longest partner. A wolfkind, certainly the sorta companion one would need in the frozen forests and lands of his home. He had a whole pack that ran with him. So when we were old enough to explore other planets for the hunt and exploration, we all went together. We ate together, bled together, and certainly died together...at least, she died protecting us. As always...

Yes, melancholy drifted like gentle waves all over his mind. He was uncaring of all, completely absorbed in thought. He had part of his pack left. But he was unaware of whether he would be able to make thier desires come true. He had to start working on that...instead of him just using them like he feels he has up until now, just relying on them to help him accomplish his goals...

'Certainly a lot to think about.' He thought...waiting several moments.

"It is time to move past these waves and start swimming in a new direction." He said and stood up.

He began walking off in search of his ship. It was time to leave, and explore. This planet had plenty to offer, but none of those would be useful right now.

Clea Soban kept her irritated gaze at John, scowling even deeper. "We are a sanctioned Aschen military operation, not a charity!"
