Powers:Arthur has Power Absorbtion which allows him to steal the ability of other evolved humans through touch. Arthur seems to gain immediate use of the stolen ability such as when he stole Adam's regeneration power and regenerated the damage to his nervous system and the hole in his throat from the tube placed there. Arthur can take multiple abilities at once from someone who has acquired multiple abilities.Firm physical contact seems to be necessary for this ability to work. Arthur hugged Peter to steal his abilities, and Knox forced Adam to place his hand in Arthur's grasp. However, skin-to-skin contact is apparently not required, as he absorbed Maya's ability through her hospital gown and Hiro's ability through his shirt.
When Arthur stole Adam's ability, Adam rapidly died and decomposed due to the loss of the aging-suppression aspect of his ability—his 400 years of age caught up with him in seconds. Peter suffered no obvious ill effects upon losing his abilities, although the process appeared to cause intense pain.Arthur's use of this ability requires active concentration. He can choose to not steal abilities from an evolved human. Knox's hand brushed against Arthur's, yet no abilities were lost or gained.According to Arthur, the removal of abilities from a targeted evolved human is permanent , but they can, in fact, be at least partially restored.All of the abilities Arthur stole made him so powerful that even the Haitian was only able to block him for a few minutes before he began to manifest his abilities again. Despite all of the abilities he has at his disposal, however, Arthur's stolen abilities otherwise still have their normal limitations.

Personality:Old but wise, a pride of Arthur is having fought in the Vietnam War with Daniel Linderman. He is a confident and always attempt to share his opinion and to address people directly. Arthur is a proud and determined man, willing to go to great lengths for success. Arthur has been shown to be willing even to harm members of his own family should they attempt to stop his plans. He has made attempts on the lives of both of the sons he raised, as well as leaving his wife in a coma. He can be calm and careful , and has seemingly has no conscience having killed several people.
Arthur is shown to have a degree of humanity. He offers people choices, to join him or not, to obey him or not. The fact that these choices are mostly decidedly one sided is debatable, and to Arthur giving people this choice would be entirely reasonable.Being a lover of the finer things in life, Arthur is known to be selfish and careless. He enjoys wasting money on useless items and braggin to other about his wealth. He enjoys giving out assignments, harming others, and even doing assignments himself.

Appearance: He is a man in great physical condition and shape considering his age. He is physically fit and quite muscular. He has grayish colored hair due to his advanced age and his ears are quite large. He has brown eyes and dark eye brows. He always wears designer clothing and expensive material.
Bio:Arthur Petrelli is the husband of Angela Petrelli, the father of Nathan Petrelli, Peter Petrelli, and Gabriel Gray (Sylar), and, through Nathan, the biological grandfather of Claire Bennet. Angela has stated that she and Arthur have gone through "great lengths" to protect Claire.
In The Vietnam war, Arthur was a high ranking officer codenamed Dallas. He discovered that Linderman, then codenamed 'Austin', had healing abilities. The two of them laid seige to a village and Arthur killed a little girl called Au Co, who had the ability to make plants grow and was fuelling the Viet Nam armies with accelerated crop growth. He later told the army about the fantastic abilities of "Austin" and Au co. He was discharged from the army and after that. He eventually met Angela and fell in love with her.
He had a child with her, when Lindermen came and met up with him. Arthur then became a Criminal Defense Attorney for the Lindermen Group. This is when Adam Monroe came into his life gathering him, Angela, Lindermen, Maury, Kaito and others to help him save the world. He then learned from a precognitive painting that he could absorb powers and used his power to gain telepathy. He used his money to help the Company develop a power suppressing drug, which resulted in the Shanti Virus. However Arthur learned Adam planned to cleanse the earth of humanity and Adam was locked up in a Company cell.
Two years later Arthur had another child with Angela and continued to defend the Lindermen Group. Arthur helps Linderman attempt to kill his son to stop the DA's office from inquiring into Linderman's affairs. Later Angela finds out, and he telepathically erases her memories of what she heard. Later Lindermen heals her memories, and Angela poisons his food. He survives but has full body paralysis , and has Dr.Livitz fake his death. He later meets up with Maury Parkman and has his him disguise himself as Lindermen to get Daphne to steal supplies and money to setup Pinehearst.
Arthur manages to set up Pinehearst and has Maury and Daphne recruit him a team of Level 5 escapees. He uses his team to kidnap Adam Monroe and he then absorbs his regenerative abilities. Doing so killed Adam and then later he absorbs Peter's multiple powers. He has Peter locked up and plans to use him as a test subject. He recruited Mohinder, after absorbing Maya's powers and then recruited Sylar as well. After doing that he killed Maury Parkman who rebelled against him, and then went to Africa to kill Usutu who was giving out information about his past with his precognition.
Arthur then removed ten years of memory from Hiro and then began teaching Sylar how to empathically copy powers. He later has a telepathic fight with Matt to keep Angela in a coma, but in the end releases Angela from her coma. He later meets Nathan telling him of his plan to save the world, and Tracy joins him promising to get Nathan on his side. He begins to paint the future learning of the eclipse and sends Sylar and Elle on a mission to capture Claire realizing she is needed to complete the formula. Arthur has Tracy go to the Marine training facility at Parris island and gather an army of 52 soldiers. Later he has Flint hold Mohinder hostage telling him to restore their powers which are lost in the eclipse.
After Mohinder beats up Flint, he takes care of his comrade till the eclipse ends and their powers return. He gladly accepts Mohinder back on to his team. He later paints the future and goes 16 years in time to the past, taking Hiro's powers and the Cayalist. He throws Hiro off the roof and gives Claire a message, sending her to the present. Arthur meets up with Mohinder, Nathan, and Tracy completing the formula with the catalyst. He leaves to confront Peter and Haitian. Peter tries to kill him, until Sylar arrives and murders Arthur. Later his body is seemingly destroyed in the Pinehearst explosion. However due to the explosion he regenerated without the bullet in his head and learned about the current situation. He literally became invisible and decided he would re-gather his old team and fight Building 26 believing he could recruit tons of evolved humans.
He gathered money and re-started Pinehearst, and found Flint's dead body. He used his blood to revive him and then they kidnapped a member of Danko's team and Arthur went back in time creating an illusion making him look like Knox, so Tracy froze him alive. He gathered money and re-started Pinehearst. They got Elle's body and Arthur learned of Tracy's fate through a painting. He broke into Building 26 to kidnap Meredith, and take her hostage. He learned of Rebel tracking down the group wanting to absorb Molly's power, however after meeting the group he learned Claude took Molly and left planning to get her back to Chennia, India. He had Rebel join forces with Pinehearst, and then sent out his team to gather all the evolved humans. He then learned of the Carnival and decided he would eliminate it eventually. After Tracy got her job back, Arthur contacted her letting her -rejoin and then Pinehearst's new mission was to capture HRG.
He then had HRG hunted along with agents from the new company and interrogated. He later began trying to recruit Travis to Pinehearst, but failed due to the latter's religious beliefs. He had Elle and Knox go after Peter. He then went back in time searching for the last vial of the formula, and returned to Pinehearst meeting the powerless and captured Peter. He told him he was needed to complete the formula along with Claire,Aiden, and Travis. After Peter's escape he told Elle of her next mission to get Claire and Aiden with two agents. He then learned of Kathy and how should would be needed for the formula.
