So begins...
Ayako Katamura's Story
Ayako Katamura stepped into the bar and would see the gathering of the Aschen at the table, inclining her head somewhat she walked through the throng of people, seeing Cain she bowed. Then step by step she made her way over to their table, pulling out a chair she spoke. "Konnichiwa, Claire-san.. I was in the neighborhood picking up some supplies... Admiral Yamamoto sent me, at the request of the Chairman along the lines of a joint strike offensive with our Section Nine, and our SpecOps Ranger division, in tandem with the Imperial Guard." She said, sitting down.
Ayako Katamura nodded. "So we launch an offensive against Red Halo, attempt to push them off the planet... kick them out, and that gives the Coalition no further reason to be here... we politely ask them to leave before whooping their asses.. I get it." She said nodding. "Though how do we smoke out a bunch of rats? We would have to comb every portion of the city without involving the local authorities.. the Empire would like to negotiate a secure.. trade route." Ayako paused at Claire's interjection. "A Treaty it is... if they'll respond.. the Empress doesn't feel comfortable sending ships through.. without heavy escort."
"Helena-San.. we both know the Taiyou Empire is not technologically advanced enough for a prolonged engagement in this galaxy... we do not have the logistics or the will to maintain a power projection... and that's five thousand and twelve, you mis-interpreted our numbers, a fifth of those are agro-worlds, and others are on loan from other AXIS Factions." She then nodded. "I'll continue my watch, the Kaze no Tani has been in orbit securing Taiyou ships through this world for a month now, if they haven't shot at us then.. why question it?"
The Minister has a point.. if we stay away from them, they'll stay away from us. Aschen soldiers can stay in their bases and mines here, If we keep our distance.. surely the Coalition Maybe they will keep their distance.. from us."
Ayako Katamura brought her attention to the HUBPOL agent. "Or you could go in and help my Agent who is under fire.. by parties unprovoked and is requesting support, that way we won't trample all over your sovereign land."
shook her head. "That was in no way a threat, I was just making a statement, if you help our agents, then we won't feel the need to go in and help her ourselves."
Ayako Katamura entered the bar in her snow white Commandant's uniform and black great coat, surrounding her were four Imperial Warriors all in the same uniforms as the other three, while she entered, additional Taiyou soldiers fanned out outside as the woman barked. "What the hell is going on here!?" She shouted as she grabbed hr Seburo M-5, a 9mm Semi-automatic pistol, while her men raised their Type 2 Carbines at the Montesque Bodyguards, shielding Katamura.
Ayako Katamura remained silent and then she turned to Kazuo. "Nanidesu ka? Setsumei shite kudasai." She said, her voice was firm, while the other Imperial warriors around her remained silent, before her gaze was brought to the Senior Agent. "There is no such thing as innocent, this was not your place to intervene, I should have all of your men shot on the spot for intervening in Imperial affairs, Anata baka gaijin!" She barked.
Ayako Katamura took a step forward, her voice was calm and calculating. "Now... kindly inform me as to why I should let you men live... do you really think if I make the decision you will get out of this alive? You can kill me and my men, but the Empire has a stronger influence here then ever before. MOntesque industries has no place in Imperial Affairs."
Ayako Katamura scowled. "The Tripartite alliance does not concern itself with the likes of you. The Qua would do far more to you then the Empire could consider." She said with a scowl. "Tell your goons to stand down before I have them shot." She said flatly.
Ayako Katamura shook her head. "As Senior Occupation officer I order those men to lower their weapons.. warriors take aim!" She barked, her voice filled with authority. "You will not defy my orders!" Just as she gave the order, all the soldiers took aim at the men, and prepared to fire.
The setting changes from Gambit's Bar to Dead End
Ayako Katamura soon emerged from the guard post after a few moments, with a small cadre of Imperial Warriors. "Captain, what seems to be the problem here?" She asked before she brought her gaze over to Kroger. "Mr. Haggai, can we help you?" She asked, completely oblivious as to why they were there. Clearly someone failed to communicate in the Taiyou chain of command.
Ayako Katamura shook her head. "Mr. Haggai, it has come to my attention that a member of your organization attempted to murder our Empress, I don't know anything about any Major Kusanagi being here, last time I checked she was on Niihama investigating a crime syndicate... however.. until your group takes measures to secure justice for the wrongdoing against Her Imperial Majesty, I will not be inclined to help you in any way, regardless of proof or not, provide me with incentive, and I would be happy to delay outgoing vessels to investigate."
Ayako Katamura as far as I'm concerned you're terrorists and thugs. I don't know anything about a kidnapping, you'll have to take it up with the Empress.. if she grants you an audience... your friend's attack scarred her, she's the last of her lineage and had he killed her the Empire would have been plunged into pandemonium. I assure you, I will look into this kidnapping... but you just let a woman be hurt for nothing, Yukiko Takayama... she was hurt for nothing. Practice what you preach... I'll look into the situation... but as it stands the Invictus is harboring a criminal."
Ayako Katamura frowned somewhat then shook her head. "I have your word, officer to officer, that Swift will be brought to justice?" She asked as she nodded to Arren, and then she turned back to Kroger. "Your word, that my Empress' life will no longer be in danger, do you swear upon this?"
Ayako Katamura nodded. "I'll take your word on it... Motoko and her prisoner are on the Kozuka.. you have... five minutes before she launches." She said as she nodded to the Aschen guard, whom nodded and disengaged the force gate, a golf cart pulling up. "The Empress ordered an agent to find someone close to swift not to harm them, but to find his wherabouts, to lure him out so bounty hunters can cash in... if the Empress can be assured that Swift won't harm her again, then she will recall the bounty, but if this happens again, I do not think the Empire will be very forgiving." She said as she climbed into the cart.
The setting changes from Dead End to Gambit's Bar
Ayako Katamura stepped into the bar quietly, as the sounds of gunfire rattled outside, the last pockets of Shogunate resistance had been largely quelled by moving Aschen and Loyalist forces.
The Commandant was one such Loyalist woman. "My life is for the Empire.." She said before she set foot in the bar, the wooden floor clunking under her feet. Eyes would first be on General Hayashi for a moment. "That is a man I have not seen before.." She said stroking her chin.

Ayako Katamura shouted. "I want those shogunate traitors beheaded!" She ordered as two Imperial Warriors nodded and ran out of the bar, the rat-a-tat of Imperial Weapons echoed in the streets, Ayako grasping her holstered weapon and then she stared outwards. "Damn Traitorous scum." She said before her gaze fell on General Hayashi. She had read a dossier on him. The man was affiliated with a small island nation - that supported the Shogunate.
